''In most countries, when people see a same-sex couple they assume they're gay and when they see an opposite-sex couple they assume they're straight. In Codifin, when we see a same-sex couple we think that they're acting on their same-sex attraction and when we see an opposite-sex couple we think that they're acting on their opposite-sex attraction. And the reason is that everyone is assumed to be bisexual, until stating otherwise.''

Torture is being eliminated, in case if you are wondering. It is officially illegal since 2011, but it is still common, albeit dwindling. As for LGBT discrimination... it's depressingly common, we know. But the government cannot discriminate against LGBT individuals. For universal suffrage, we are willing to provide it for EP elections.

We would like the people of the Esquarian Community to have a bigger say (indirectly) about who is admitted and who isn't which is why we propose that, along with a majority of votes from countries themselves, candidate nations also need to be approved by the Esquarian Parliament.
