Depends on the animal, tbh. There's been a historical precedent, but things that are say, more dangerous tend to be looked on skeptically.

Never too late to join in here. Only stipulation, as mentioned early on and knowing your involvement with a number of those threads, is please, no ponies. We've dealt with Kitsune, Sakkrans, Kzinti, a number of Neko types, AI sorts, aliens, Elves etc ... but I'm afraid that crosses lines of believability for even me.

It'd be panther cubs, born in captivity but not exactly tame; they're not aggressive, but they're playful and may inadvertently hurt people. They would have been left at the airport under the care of an experienced keeper until the Imperatrice decided what to do with them.

It's pretty open. Most folks are wandering around, soaking up the atmosphere and entertainment, mingling, some are dropping in to see the new leader - it's all good. Nothing says you can't be in costume already - or that you have to participate in the masquerade at all. At the Piazza, somewhere else in the city, representative, common folk, tourist, what have you - let me know how I can help make it fun, and we'll take it from there.

Apologies for the lack of posts today. Been a full schedule on my end, and as a result, I'm absolutely spent. I'll try to get caught up with everyone tomorrow. Thanks!

Nathi, I was originally going to wait for the masquerade to make a discrete bid for Nathicana to support a monarchist coup. It might be smarter to go through some lower-level government intermediaries; if I wanted to meet a (possibly corrupt) official to get revolutionary assistance, where would I go and who would I talk to?

No problem waiting - I'm going to catch up here, and kick off the masquerade part. Anyone catching up is still free to (yay, fluid time), and any wanting to move forward are free to do so as well. Never feel pressure to 'catch up' if there's something you're wanting to take care of in this, it's all good.

As for 'who to approach' ... that's a tricky one. Nathicana will be officially retiring. This doesn't mean she's without influence, ability, etc. There is also Cesare Calabrese, who was her chancellor, and will be continuing in the position. There's a link in my sig to my nswiki for a list of officials, with the exception of Marius Russo, new minister of finance. If you have other ideas, I'm open to it - just let me know.

For those who've been waiting for an official kickoff, I've posted a bit on the masquerade going on, and some of my character's who are in attendance in the general area.

If you want to put your folks somewhere else, just let me know what you need and I'll be happy to provide the surroundings and such. Since most have focused on the Piazza area, that's what I've gone forward with the most - which is entirely fine, either way.

As always, this is for fun. No pressure, no worries, and no stress - and no huge posts necessary for participation. Write at your pace, and your leisure. It's all part of the point of an open RP, neh?

And for those still wondering whether or not they can join - yes. It's ongoing, and there is no set length of time you have to participate should you link up, nor any particular point you have to be at to join in either.

Oh wherever you'd like, really. At the masquerade, around the Piazza, anywhere else in town that interests you, prior to start, seeing Naiya - I've been working with what we call fluid time in order to not leave people waiting, or hold them up, so everyone can participate at their own pace as best we're able.

We're hitting this at an easy-going angle.
