I didn't believe I would actually award you twelve points for that song either. In my scoresheet you actually got a perfect score, so good for you.

Hoping that the contest regulars maintain or improve their entry qualities, I'm looking forward to see what the newcomers have to offer for the next edition.

How do these scoresheets work, out of interest ?? I've heard a few mentioned, but never actually seen one of them in action.

They differ for each person that uses them. But generally you give all the songs a score out of a certain number according to a pre-determined criteria. And these form the basis for your scores.

Cool, thanks.

In this case you might want to see mine. As I've released my votes already it should be okay to disclose them.

Here.
Previously I'd allocate 10 points to the tune, but the thing about these scoresheets is that there are no rules or standards for them and is completely up to the user.

Something more shittier is the fact that a debuting nation without any entry whatsoever has scored higher than a regular participant with a complete one.

There might be a point that needs to be proven there.

Your music was pretty bad Queb, don't be creating inferno's over that.

I'm actually confused about a few of your ratings though Kalosia, not like I'll embarrass anyone in public, but some of your scores are just... woah...

Debatable.

Putting tune aside, what about the lyrics?

Fair enough, though I was asking to Kalo about that.

Since TUE is not allowed to vote, I'll just replace the vote post with something....interesting.

3 for creativity? I think my entry this time around was pretty creative considering the performance. The song itself may not be everyone's taste, but the performance was pretty good, one of the best I've ever done to be honest. Even better than my WV25 entry where I got 3rd place. But everyone has their own opinion.

Does "tune" mean melody or music? A song could have great music but a terrible melody or terrible music but an incredible melody.

Both, I believe.

Absolutely not inspired by me, not in the least.

Bah. Only because you've spoiled my not-very-likely-to-happen opening. Now I'll have to think up something else.

I was referring to Tunglanes and Groteberg. The only reason I included them in the scoresheet was because no other entry replaced the slot originally occupied by Tunglanes.

If you need some clarification of my scoring:
Tune: The music used, basically. If based on an actual song, how good it is. If RPd in the text, based on how I think it would sound.
Text: How good the lyrics are. Not only the vocabulary used, but whether they actually fit into the song (if a melody was used), and the theme. Unique themes get more points. If you don't provide a translation and I'm unable to assume anything from the lyrics, I might as well not award you anything in this category.
RP: Performance. I'd imagine what it'd look like, and rate based on how much I enjoy it. Elaboration won't guarantee a good performance, but I believe you'd deserve credit for typing out so much anyway (this is why I gave Yako a 1).
Creativity: How unique the whole entry is, compared to the rest of the songs as well as your nation's previous entries, if I remember them (for example, I gave Saviera 4 because their performance was different than others, while I didn't give the Lymantatian Commonwealth anything because that's what you'd expect from them tbh).

With all due respect.

The Licentian Isles wrote:That kind of thing must take a lot of work. Fair do's to you for that.

Yeah. For me though, the only hard part is at the end when I have to determine which entry got which place, since I can't easily rearrange any of the columns or rows.

I won't lie.. the performance is what earned you my 12 points... it got a perfect score for performance putting you in first place. That performance was the most detailed and creative performance I'd ever seen in WorldVision. And if Kalosia can't recognise that creativity ii's his loss. You had a fantastic entry Vamp.
