Tour for the Ambassador of the Imperium Reich (MT, IC)

[Atvania]

The Imperium Reich has placed an ambassador to reside in the to-be-built embassy in the city center of Kaposvar, the capital city of the nation of Atvania.
One request by the ambassador was a tour of the nation. It will be a week in length and will involve a circular trip around Atvania. The ambassador will be visiting, along with his one child, and Atvanian Liberation Army security guards, (Imperium Reich security guards) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs chairman Joseph Alyushko, three major cities and two scenic spots.

The plans for the tour are as follows (hourly schedule will be provided later):
Day 1-2: Kaposvar
Day 3 (morning): Yurisvian National Wildlife Protection Region
Day 3 (afternoon)-4: Lunia
Day 5 (morning): shore of the Black Sea
Day 5 (afternoon)-6: Parashe
Day 7: return to Kaposvar

In Kaposvar on the 1st day, they will have lunch at a world-renowned fine dining restaurant, then take a tour around the city center and some government buildings. After that, they will go to the Atvanian History Museum, where the ambassador will learn more about Atvaia’s history. For dinner, they are invited to the Mr. Alyushko’s home for a home-cooked meal.
On the 2nd day, they will first visit the Kaposvar Economic Development Area and then proceed to have brunch there. Later, they will travel to the Kaposvar Industrial Development Area where the ambassador will observe the industrial workings of the city and then proceed to take a tour of the city and some of its landmarks. For dinner, they will be dining in the Taresizc Concert Hall where there will be live orchestral music. The program for that performance features native Atvanian music and Tcahikovsky.
On the 3rd day, the group will be taking a high-speed train to the Yurisvian National Wildlife Protection Region to sighsee. No airplanes or anything of the sort are permitted in the region, as there are many fragile ecosystems and a lack of landing areas. They will stay there for half the day, having lunch there with a rural farm where they will be met with the utmost hospitality, though not a luxurious meal. By 4 in the afternoon, they will have arrived in the city of Lunia, after a 1 hour trip. Lunia is Atvania’s third largest city, after Parashe. It is a major industrial city with a focus on arms and minor electronics manufacturing. They will take a few hours before dinner to relax or view the streets. For the last meal of the day, a massive meal will be prepared at the five-star hotel they are staying at.
The next day, the group will be visiting the headquarters of Atvania’s space program, in Lunia. It is a massive facility with many interesting features. They will have lunch there with the chairman of the Atvanian Space Program. For the remainder of the day, they’ll be taking a tour of the city via automobile to see some major landmarks in the city. Dinner will be had in a native Atvanian restaurant.
On the 5th day, the Black Sea awaits the group; they will be flying via private jet to one of the most beautiful place in Atvania, the beaches of the Black Sea. The ambassador and his son will be given a chance to ride a boat to an island a few miles off the shore to have brunch in an island restaurant.
The remainder of the morning can be spent however they like.
In the afternoon, they will fly north to Parashe, the second biggest city in Atvania. Parashe has a focus on trade, as it is located on the shores of the Baltic Sea. They will be spending much of their time touring the trading hubs of the ports and touring the city. The final meal before returning to Kaposvar will be had in a seafood restaurant near the docks.
The start of the last day will be spent on the 2 hour flight back to Kaposvar, where the ambassador and his child (and any other security force brought along) will return to the embassy, or continue to tour the city if they’d like.

The ambassador sent to the nation of Atvania, Samuel Crest, flew by helicopter with his bundled-up baby, Samuel Jr. Samuel Crest himself knew the plans, getting a message about it via email and ready for a trip, a bit excited. The young male was a member of the Imperium Army for two years, mostly on the defense, also involved in an easy attack into the Arctic, he assisted in setting up the cities and bases in their with the torn down areas of former cities and bases once the area was conquered, leaving the Army to get married but quickly divorced, gaining the child he loved, simply named Samuel Jr. ahead of time during the short marriage.

Samuel was a prestigious man in the Imperium Reich, his family being various races, particularly a strange mix of German and Irish, making him a unique figure in the eyes of those who know him. He had dark hair yet blueish-green eyes, making him look nearly inhuman, while his skin, due to living in the Arctic of the Imperium Reich for so long, was nearly transparent with pale whiteness. He was a nice looking guy, however, and he was very good with diplomacy. Him and his guards, being dropped off by helicopter into the capital city of Atvania, particularly near the empty plot of land where his new home and embassy were to be built. The pilot radioed the airport of the capital city, telling them of the arrival in order to inform the Atvanian government. The Guards, meanwhile, stepping out, asked the ambassador. "Any orders, sir?"

Samuel shook his head, saying calmly in a powerful Germanic accent, in perfect English. "No thank you. I will only need the Commander of the guards and two others for my protection, that is it. The rest, please bring Samuel Jr. to a nursery so he may be watched until I return. I wouldn't want him to get in any danger if it has ever happened. I hope our rides, also, get here soon."

The other Guards nodded, leaving the ambassador with three guards, 1 being the Head of the Security group. Meanwhile, workers were dropped off, as well as supplies, behind the ambassador and, the pilots moving their vehicles, the workers began extensive working on the new building, beginning with a foundation.

The Atvanian hospitality team quickly drove over to the landing point, where the ambassador Samuel Crest was. A group of five men got out of the car, leaded by the chairman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Hello Ambassador Crest! We welcome you to Atvania!" He extended his hand for a handshake.
"You picked a wonderful day to arrive; it hasn't been this sunny in months! We've arranged a few hotel rooms for you and your personnel at the White Swan Hotel. Before the trip, it would be best for you to relax a bit, after the long helicopter ride; we have a few cars to transport you to the hotel."
He motioned to the two black cars behind him. "Please."

The chairman of the Ministry sat in the front passenger's seat and Mr. Samuel Crest sat in the back with two guards to his left and right, while the rest of his guards were in the other car.

"So Ambassador Crest, how was the helicopter ride? You must be hungry. We have arranged there to be food bars in your hotel rooms as the hotel food is not of the highest quality."

"Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Alyushko." Samuel said, smiling due to the hospitality and taking his hand in a firm handshake, moving into the car with him, now in the back. He let himself set in the middle between two guards, watching the Foreign Minister, continuing. "It was a long trip, yes, and it was quiet and I can use some food. Also, I thank you very much for the hotel rooms, your nation already looks very nice today, and your kindness exceeds expectations. I am, however, merely an ambassador. I mustn't be treated so kindly, my leader already seems to respect your nation, despite how diverse we are. Also, besides this, yes, I am very hungry, and it is good to be off the helicopter."

The ambassador, while feeling his mission to increase relations with the nation by successfully setting up the embassy, felt he'd enjoy the trip itself into the area. He, personally, enjoyed travel but was never given a personal tour but, at the same time, he didn't wish to be rude and make the group work for him. He, like many others of the Imperium Reich, believed in their idea of individualism, which stated that it was the individual's main duty to help him or herself, while a secondary duty was to help others, thus creating friendship and unity. This was the basis of the Imperium-brand National Socialism and, while also here, he commonly used this idea, as many others unknowingly used it.

"After all, ambassadors are diplomats, and diplomats are the backbone of international relations!" The rest of the ten minute ride was spent having petty conversations.

As they arrived White Swan Hotel, the chauffeurs got out of the car opened the car doors. There was a large banner in the entrance to the hotel that read, "We warmly welcome Ambassador Crest from the Imperium Reich!" along with two lines of hotel employees. The ambassador's luggage was taken by a busboy and put on a cart.

"Please." Alyushko motioned for them to enter.
The hotel lobby was massive, with a high ceiling with a crystal chandelier and marble floors.
"This way. Your room is the Presidential Suite A, and your personnel's rooms are very near", said Alyushko as they entered the elevator.
It was on the 98th floor, but it only took 20-or so seconds, as it was one of those extremely fast types. The 98th floor was the top floor of the building, and there were only 10 rooms on that floor; 5 presidential suites, and 5 luxury suites. The only difference were the sizes.

A hotel employee showed them to their rooms and the busboy unloaded their stuff.
"At about 12:00, there will be a knock on your door. At that time, we will take you all to one of the finest restaurants in Atvania for lunch! Until then, feel free to rest, eat, or whatever you'd like. Two employees will be on this floor if you need them."

"Your hospitality amazes me, Mr. Alushko. I can't wait for the tour." He shook his hand once again and, meanwhile, in his hotel suite, he got washed up by taking a shower and got all ready then took a nap, having an alarm set for 11:50 to wake up ten minutes ahead of time.

After shaking his hand, Mr. Alyushko walked down the walkway and into the elevator. He still had two hours, so he thought he would have a a coffee in the hotel cafe and then head to his office to take a nap.

About an hour and a half passed, and he woke up from a cozy nap. Looking at his watch, he was running right on time. Though early, he wanted to be at the restaurant a bit early, so he called for hs chauffeur and went to the restaurant at which they were to have lunch: the Grand Perov, which was the top rated restaurant in Atvania for seven years in a row.

He had a reservation, so he did not need to wait for a room. A common fashion of upper dining in Atvania was in individual rooms, for extra privacy. Unlike other western countries, most people who went out to dine wanted more privacy than tables less than a foot away from each other.

He sat down, and skimmed through the menu. He thought to himself, "Hmm, that catfish looks good."
It was almost 12:00 now, so they should be arriving soon.

At precisely 12:00, no earlier or later, an employee knocked on each of their doors and told them it was time to go to the restaurant and two cars were waiting for them at the entrance.

Samuel smiled, pleased by the knock, and said. "Thank you!" He was now going downstairs by elevator, having many papers with him on potential alliances of various degrees. He, now, going to the vehicle waiting for him, went inside, prepared to head to the restaurant.

Mr. Alyushko looked at his watch again; it was 12:10, so they should be arriving any moment now.
He told the waiter to bring two bottles of Pinot Noir wine and some appetizers and set them on the table.

Samuel went inside the restaurant, admiring how fancy it was for a moment, before going straight to Alyushko. "Nice to see you again."

Alyushko stood up, and pulled up a chair for Mr. Crest. "Likewise."

"Help yourselves to the escargot mushrooms, chicken and asparagus vol-au-vent, and mini grape cheeseballs with pistachio crust appetizers while, by the way. These cheeseballs are top-notch."

He then grabbed one of the wine bottles and eyed the ambassador. "Wine?"

Alyushko stood up, and pulled up a chair for Mr. Crest. "Likewise."

"Help yourselves to the escargot mushrooms, chicken and asparagus vol-au-vent, and mini grape cheeseballs with pistachio crust appetizers while, by the way. These cheeseballs are top-notch."

He then grabbed one of the wine bottles and eyed the ambassador. "Wine?"

"Yes please, Alyushko." Samuel said, smiling as he got some of the chicken, muchrooms, and asparagus vol-au-vent and the cheeseballs, tasting them and then eating what he had for appetizers on his plate. [i]"The food is indeed top notch."[i]

Alyushko poured some for Ambassador Crest, and then himself.
Once the ambassador looked as though he had enough of the appetizers, Alyushko asked, "Ready to order?" And he motioned for one of the employees to give him and himself menus.

The employee then announced the soup of the day, and the chef specials of the week.

"I'll have to say, everything here is good, you can't go wrong." and he chuckled.

"Fine choices" said the employee as he wrote it down. He then walked over to Alyuhsko.

"I'd like a filet mignon steak with potatoes and rice please. Thank you." The waiter took up the menus and informed it would not take twenty minutes, and he left and closed the door behind him.
Alyuhsko sipped a tiny bit of his wine and said, "How is the weather in the Imperium Reich? I heard it's been really cold lately."

Samuel almost burst out laughing, but calmed down before such happened, sighing a bit in relief he didn't laugh too hard to make a scene, but his near-die-hard laugh was suppressed into a simple chuckle. "Well, Alyuhsko, the weekly weather is said to be below below negative 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Being located in the Arctic, or what the world called it since we basically colonized the huge chunks of it for living space, weather is always cold but, in our capital and other formidable mountain-fortress settlements, we gain a fair amount of heat from the underground heat and shelter. So, your question is somewhat ironic in the sense that we have nearly mixed weather in temperature and geography in the nation, but it's fine and does nothing but really influence our defenses in many areas with the cold snow, which we actually adapt in various ways, including the recent creation of a new medical drug we have created. How's weather in your nation? As you said before, it seems to rain a lot, but it's far warmer than most of the Imperium Reich's Arctic area."

"Haha, my incompetence. It's fairly average here in Atvania. Depends on where you are; Kaposvar retains a nice, stable weather for most of the year, but places like Parashe and some small towns far north and east are quite humid from the Baltic and the Black seas," Alyushko said as he cut off an inch of his steak and gobble it up.

Samuel Crest nodded and smiled a bit, asking him. "So, has there been much war going on in this nation?" He asked, cutting a part of the lobster with his knife, using his fork to hold it in place, as he ate the meat now.

"Not since the our Civil War with the former Atvanian Empire, which was over twelve years ago, and we hope to keep it that way. It was quite bloody, over 100,000 fatalities on both sides. Imperial officials and soldiers either fled the country or died in war." He took anothe bite.

"What about your country?"

Samuel Crest nodded and smiled a bit, asking him. "So, has there been much war going on in this nation?" He asked, cutting a part of the lobster with his knife, using his fork to hold it in place, as he ate the meat now.

"Not since the our Civil War with the former Atvanian Empire, which was over twelve years ago, and we hope to keep it that way. It was quite bloody, over 100,000 fatalities on both sides. Imperial officials and soldiers either fled the country or died in war." He took anothe bite.

"What about your country?"

"Not since battling the Americans or Soviets in the 1990's, no. We lost small amounts of soldiers, took over Alaska, and almost invaded Moscow." Samuel said, smiling a bit as he took another bite.

[Atvania]

"I see. Atvania does not wish to incur militaristic devastation unless it is necessary, so our military is not our main problem as of now."

"How is the lobster?"

"Lobster's good. Also, we don't try to start problems, we just need places to live and a strong economy. The Arctic has much to offer, we just take it for trade and power."

[Atvania]

"Interesting. The Atvanian Civil War was more of a revolution than anything. Honestly, we expected a much larger counter force from the Empire."

[The Imperium Reich]

Samuel nodded, saying to him. "Well, I'm glad you seemingly won your revolution."

[Atvania]

"Indeed. We're focusing on the economy as of late, for the recolution caused some unstableness." Alyushko said as he finished the last piece of his food.
