After hours of interrogation the saboteur breaks.

Saboteur: *barely audible* Okay, we're call ourselves the Peacewalkers.

Interrogator: Ah the easy way, please go on.

Saboteur: Theres a safehouse a few kilometres from that town we were holed up in.

The interrogator gets a map of the region.

Interrogator: Where?

Saboteur: Here.

In a Platacian news report

Reporter: Last night there was a freak lightning strike in a forest near the warzone, this caused a wild fire to break out burning down an abandoned lumber mill. A patrol of soldiers came across several charred bodies believed to be a group of campers who went missing at the outbreak of the war a few weeks ago. The bodies were taken to a nearby military depot to be cremated.

At a secure dead drop for the isa, an intergrated Carbon Dog disguised as a civilian completes a dead drop for the ISA with the information obtained, to ensure the information reaches the ISA several "civilians" in different countries drop the same information.

Avenest-Vaidos Border Region

After several days of trudging through the muddy forests, Shadow team happens upon a large drone, partially destroyed.

Shadow 1-3: Check it out. It's one of those big Dordalian drones.

Shadow 1-4: Looks like it took an anti-tank round bad. Boss, this thing's totalled.

Shadow 1-1: Looks to be that way. 1-2, SITREP?

Shadow 1-2: The drone is inactive. However, it seems to still be operational.

Shadow 1-3: Check out the markings on the side. Must be a kill count.

Shadow 1-1: Any idea which division it came from?

Shadow 1-2: It's a B-28 Goliath, MATO reporting name 'Dagger'. Sir, we've only seen pictures of these from distance. Nobody's ever been this close to one.

Shadow 1-1: Where are the nearest Dordalian forces?

Shadow 1-2: According to the latest intel, they're at least fifty clicks away.

Shadow 1-3: That doesn't make any sense.

Shadow 1-1: Doesn't matter. We have what we came for. Start setting up for extract.

The team begins setting up several fulton extraction devices, attaching a heavy-lift balloon to the powered-down drone. Shadow 1-1 speaks into his radio.

Shadow 1-1: This is little bird to big bird. Egg is in the nest, and it's a big one. Learning to fly, over.

C-130 Pilot: Affirmative little bird. We'll help you, out.

A C-130J flies through the gap in the Avenestian ADN, headed straight for Shadow team.

[Platacia]

Platacian-EAP Front Line:

On a relatively quiet portion of the front, both Platacian and Pact forces have entrenched themselves on opposite sides of a large river, with neither side gaining any ground. Over several nights, large numbers of Platacian armoured and mechanised units have amassed nearby, avoiding detection from enemy reconissance.

Tank Commander: Sir, each armoured column is in position. We merely await the gathering of mechanised infantry and artillery to support the advance.

General Bergesen: Good. Begin the plan on my signal.

After a few more minutes of preparation, the order to attack is given. A sustained volley of rocket artillery is fired at the EAP lines for several minutes, before armour rapidly crosses the bridges leading across the river which had, unbeknownst to the Pact, been cleared of mines the previous night. Soon after the first wave of tanks is across, mechanised infantry units cross the bridges as precision air strikes commence against remaining Pact defences. Within ten minutes, hostile forces are routed, and the Fourth Platacian Motorised Division presses into Seabersian lands.

Anonymous Message to the Organisation known as Carbon Dogs

This message is intended to be read only by the highest levels of administration within Carbon Dogs. If the current reader does not meet that requirement, please cease reading immediately or face swift repercussions. The sender of this message wishes to procure the services of your organisation at the soonest possible moment. Once you are able, please send a delegation to the attached coordinates on the Lothinese side of the Scuroian border. By complying with this request, funds amounting to five million universal standard dollars will be given to you in your requested form, be that cash, cheque or credit. There you will negotiate a deal with a representative of this message's sender to perform a task to be specified at said negotiations. Your payment will also be discussed at the aforementioned meeting. Please respond to this message or comply with its contents within the next fouty-eight hours.

Scuro border region, Lothi side.

A black hawk touches down and a platoon of Carbon Dogs in battle dress fan out and form a platoon harbour, soon after a cardboard box falls out of the black hawk.

A soldier approaches the cardboard box.

Soldier: Boss the area is secure, how long do you think we'll have to wait here?

Cardboard box: keeping us waiting, huh?

Lothinese-Scuroian Border:

A few minutes after the Carbon Dogs arrive, an unmarked CH-49 Mohawk bearing desert camouflage touches down near them. A dozen heavily armed men wearing the well-known uniform of the "Vultures" mercenary organisation exit the helicopter. Soon afterwards, a single SUV pulls up between the Vultures and Carbon Dogs. From the drivers seat steps a man wearing a long, weather-worn grey cloak. From the back of the vehicle, the two metre tall form of a Bananish S.O unit makes its way to the cloaked man's side. A faded "27" can be seen on the drone's right shoulder.

Cloaked Man: (Speaking through a voice modulator) Welcome, my friends. Vultures, we know each other well, but soldiers of the Carbon Dogs, I do not believe we have had the pleasure of making acquaintance. Now, which of you is in charge of your organisation?

[Carbon Dogs]

As the 'Vultures' and the SUV arrive the Carbon Dogs facing them pick targets and ready incase of a fire fight.

In response to the man in the cloak, the cardboard box begins to move towards him but stops 5m short of the platoon harbour. Clothed Snake Man appears out of the cardboard box.

CSM: I am the commander of these men.

Snake begins scanning all the other forces memorising their positions, and attempts to stare deeply into the face of the cloaked man to find an ID

Lothinese-Scuroian Border:

The cloaked man is somewhat confused by the use of the cardboard box, but continues speaking after a few seconds.

Cloaked Man: As you know, terrorism has been a rising threat in Moneylania in recent years, more so in Lothi than anywhere else. As such, I have organised a small competition for both of your organisations. *He gives envelopes to the leaders of the Carbon Dogs and Vultures* I have handed you both mission dossiers. You will both be assaulting terrorist compounds and bringing back high ranking individuals alive. Vultures, you will attack an LJPA cave network with an approximate garrison of fifty insurgents and bring back the man in charge. Carbon Dogs, your objective is to infiltrate or assault a Banan Kebab compound with thirty guards, as well as an intricate system of traps, and capture an intelligence officer. You will each be paid ten million universal standard dollars, but whoever achieves their objective first gets double.

The cloaked man turns back to his SUV, before stopping at the door.

Cloaked Man: Oh, and I suggest you hurry. Stor Korstog will be assaulting both locations in about twelve hours, and if they get there first, you don't get paid.

The Blackhawk carrying the platoon of Carbon Dogs touches down nearby, during the flight a section of the soldiers changed out of battle dress into the survival suits.

CSM: 1 section with me, we'll infiltrate the compound, neutralise as many guards as possible. When we have them all we'll extract them and move to extract the target.

Snake assigns various roles, 3 soldiers of the section are assigned to identify and neutralise traps, another 3 are assigned to provide cover with snipers should a guard be alerted unexpectedly. The remaining 5 are paired up the odd one with Snake.

CSM: 2 and 3 section I want you in concealed postions behind our snipers, should this go loud, both of you attack.

Snake, and 1 section take up positions to infiltrate the compound. 2 and 3 section prep for an assualt and provide a rear guard. The Blackhawk is concealed under cam net.

Banan Kebab Guard 1: (In Lothinese) Did you hear a helicopter?

Banan Kebab Guard 2: (In Lothinese) Ha, the heretic government hasn't been able to afford those for years.

Banan Kebab Guard 1: (In Lothinese) Good poi-... I swear I just heard something outside.

Banan Kebab Guard 2: (In Lothinese) Fine then, go check it out yourself.

Snake and a soldier approach the door and listen out for people on the otherside, one of the snipers contacts Snake

Sniper: Snake one of the guards is approaching the door I have sights on another and can drop him when you engage the first one.

Snake signals with a thumbs up and waits for the guard to move through the door. The other two pairs of Carbon Dogs find other ways into the compound, both under the protection and guidance of a sniper.

The guard walks outside.

Banan Kebab Guard: (In Lothinese) Huh, I could've sworn someone was out here. Oh well.

The guard turns around to walk back inside.

Snake leaps forward, punching the guard in the sternum to wind him and then places him into a choke hold.

The Sniper lets off a round from his M-2000d (silenced), dropping the guard still inside.

While Snake chokes out the first guard the other soldier moves in to dispose of the corpse.

Spotter: Watch that door, its rigged with a trip wire.

The soldier gives a thumbs up to acknowledge the threat and disarms it, moving on to dispose of the body.

The other pairs are guided into the compound and prepare to neutralise other guards around the fence.

Another guard walks into the entryway after hearing the door open. As he enters he sees the Carbon Dogs.

Banan Kebab Guard: Snake? SNAKE? SNAAAAAKE!

Snake finishes choking the first guard, upon hearing the shouting begins to rush through the door.

The other soldier snaps round to the new guard shooting him in knee and sprints toward him, the sniper looks for any targets and prepares to shoot.

Hearing the shouts from the otherside of the compound the other pairs drop a patrol of two guards each, and begin to move towards the main entrance.

The other two sections prepare to rush the compound but await the signal from Snake, the blackhawk crew ready themselves for take off

Some of the guards hear the other guard yelling and sound the alarm. The compound goes on high alert and all of the terrorists begin to arm themselves. A total of eight rush outside, while another four go to the entrance. The remainder take up defensive positions throughout the compound, with three assigned to guard the intelligence officer.

The first terrorist through the door closest to Snake and the other soldier is dropped by the sniper, two other terrorists are dropped by the other two snipers (leaving 3 near Snake and 6 elsewhere)

Snake reacts first finishing the injured terrorist and dropping the second through the door, the other soldier lets off a burst towards the door causing a serious injury to the third terrorist, while he moves for cover.

Both pairs let off shots towards the 6 remaining terrorist, dropping one and injuring another while they find cover.

The remaining terrorists open fire on any Carbon Dogs soldiers they can see, albeit with poor accuracy. Those inside begin foritifying their positions and barricading doors as they ensure all traps are working.

Snake signals for 2 and 3 section to move in, he then takes aim and drops the fourth terrorist.

The other soldier moves in and knocks out the injured terrorist and prepares him for extraction.

Two of the snipers drop two more of the terrorists

The two pairs open fire on the remaining two terrorists dropping both of them, they then move to secure the injured terrorist.

2 and 3 section move from their position leapfroging eachother.

The Carbon Dogs outside come under fire from insurgents shooting from the windows of the compund's main building. One of the terrorists manages to hit a mercenary, but the bullet does little damage to the battle dress uniform. Inside, the room next to the entryway explodes into a flurry of shrapnel as a remote mine is detonated.

2 and 3 section begin to return fire, most of the sections reach the perimeter.

Snake ducks behind cover during the explosion, the other soldier is caught in it and is incapacitated.

The 4 soldiers secure the injured terrorist and begin to exfiltrate the compound.

The sniper overwatching Snake searches for targets in the new hole in the building

The flight crew of the blackhawk are ready for take off and signal to Snake.

As the firefight outside continues, one terrorist leaps down from a window and runs towards some of the mercenaries.

The terrorist explodes several metres away from some Carbon Dogs after being shot.

The explosion disorients three soldiers from 2 section.

3 section moves through the door firing into the building, three soldiers move to assist the injured Carbon Dog, one providing cover two providing medical assistance and extraction.

The four soldiers exfiltrate to the LZ with the Injured terrorist.

The two snipers begin firing into any window they see movement from.
