CSM shows the level 3 ID

CSM: I was working with the doctor on integrating drones into aircraft, when this janitor came in asking to get down here.

[Ironcastle]

Soldier: You aren't authorised to be here. You're both being detained.

[Banana Federation]

Police Chief: Sorry, but my secondary orders were to ensure the absolute cleanliness of the delivery room for later today.

He begins taking some cleaning robots out of the janitor cart.

Police Chief: I don't really have time to be detained at the moment, Dr. Scott said this was of the utmost importance.

[Carbon Dogs]

CSM: I too have no time to be detained Doctor Scott and I have very important work to do

[Ironcastle]

Soldier: Put those robots down, immediately!

Two soldiers withdraw cuffs from pouches, then approach Police Chief and Snake Man.

[Banana Federation]

Police Chief stumbles backwards and accidentally knocks over the cart, spilling several more robots onto the floor, after which he drops the ones he was holding.

Police Chief: Whoops, sorry about that. But now you've directly interfered with official business, so I'm going to have to ask you to come with me.

Police Chief pulls out handcuffs and raises an FCA badge.

[Ironcastle]

Soldier: Stop those robots!

Several soldiers run to secure the robots before they can get far.

The soldier talking to Police Chief hands him a piece of paper.

Soldier: This operation has been authorised by the ISA with precedence over all other agencies. So you're the one interfering with official business.

[Banana Federation]

Police Chief: Oh, well, sorry about that. We'll just be on our way then.

[Ironcastle]

Soldier: No, you won't. You're both being detained.

[Banana Federation]

Police Chief: That's unfortunate.

Police Chief tackles CSM out of the room as multiple flashbangs go off simultaneously and the "cleaning" robots fire multiple drowsy darts into the joints of each soldiers.

[Ironcastle]

Two soldiers open fire, but their rounds hit the wall where Police Chief was standing. Still disoriented from the flashbangs, the lead soldier hits a red button on the wall. Everywhere, red lights start flashing and doors begin to lock.

Intercom: Emergency lockdown initiated. Please remain where you are.

[Carbon Dogs]

CSM takes out his MRS-4, hidden behind his lab coat and activates his comm link

CSM: All units, prepare to engage hostiles, secure the roof. Chief lead the way

CSM waits for the Police Chief to move

On the upper levels of the facility seven Carbon Dogs rush for the roof, using their keycards at the door, meanwhile the two Carbon Dogs that were hidden on the roof shoot at two of the the Ironian guards with sleep darts

Outside

One of the three Carbon Dogs outside moves to link up with the vultures and coordinate efforts with them.

[Ironcastle]

Inside

The soldiers quickly recover from the flashbang, due in part to their polarising tactical glasses. They start hunting down Chief and Snake Man.

Roof

Both darts hit, causing two guards to drop. The other two open fire at the Carbon Dogs in full auto. They are unaware of the Carbon Dogs coming up from inside the building.

Soldier: We're under fire out here! Lock the whole place down and get reinforcements here!

[Banana Federation]

Chief rushes past the doorway and rips the easily-detachable handle from the janitor cart, before splitting it in half and throwing one half behind, releasing tear gas as he and CSM run towards AI Development.


Outside:

Seeing the Carbon Dogs moving on the base, Uomo orders S.O-27 to lead a number of old 2014 model Bananish drones to fire on the Ironian positions with rubber bullets.

Roof

The seven Carbon Dogs exit onto the roof, the two still using the ghost hawk as cover exchange shots with the two Ironians

Lead Carbon Dog: Reinforcements have arrived.

The seven Carbon Dogs begin firing towards but intentionally missing their allies while they take up positions on the roof

[Ironcastle]

Inside

The door to AI Development is locked tight. The keycard won't unlock it. Worse, the same is true for every door.

Roof

The Ironian soldiers see the disguised Carbon Dogs. One activates his radio.

Soldier: Thanks command, we've got those reinforcements.

Radio: We haven't dispatched any yet.

Soldier: We'll take whatever we can get.

Outside

Pelted by rubber bullets, the gate guards open fire at the origin of the bullets, using their IR goggles to more easily spot their attackers.

LRF Command

Operator: Lynwood AFB, this is Lynwood Research Centre. We are under attack by unknown hostiles. Secure area has been breached, repeat, secure area has been breached, over.

Lynwood AFB: Roger that, QRF inbound. ETA 15 minutes. Over and out.

[Banana Federation]

Inside:

Chief folds the remaining half of the handle over, doubling its length, before again splitting it in half. He utilises the open door he saw moments before to recall where the locks to the door were, and places the rods of thermite appropriately, before igniting them.


Outside:

S.O-27 crouches down slightly and begins regulating his internal temperature so that his thermal signature appears to be that of a human. The other drones continue as normal.

Roof

After hearing the radio conversation the two Carbon Dogs feign death

Disguised Carbon Dog: They're down you two with me lets confirm they're out.

Three Carbon Dogs approach the "dead" Carbon Dogs, and proceed to "check" for vitals

Disguised Carbon Dog: Confirmed kill.

Outside

The two Carbon Dogs noticing the Bananish assault begin to shoot at the gate guards with sleep darts.

[Ironcastle]

Inside

The thermite begins burning throuh the door. However, it takes time, and the soldiers have fully recovered. The lack of cover in the hallway is painfully obvious.

Roof

The soldier continues to use his earpiece.

Soldier: Command, roof. Neutralised two times enemy combatant, over.

Command: Affirmative. Check for identification, over.

Soldier: Roger that, over and out.

The soldier starts pushing his way past the Carbons Dogs in disguise to get to the bodies.

Gate

very faint whirring sound can be heard above the gate.

Guard: Command, we're being pelted by... rubber bullets, I think. There's also something in the fields, unless my goggles are on the fritz, over.

Command: Affirmative, UAV has been deployed. We see it too. Two times combatant prone. Engage at your discretion, over.

Guard: Negative, we have no clear line of fire. Requesting sniper support, over.

Command: Affirmative, tasking sniper now. Over and out.

Roof

The sniper holds his hand to his ear, acknowledges something, then moves to look over the front of the facility.

Roof

With the sniper getting in position one of the disguised Carbon Dogs shoots at the sniper, with other Carbon Dogs attempting to block line of sight for the other guard

As the guard checks for ID he finds nothing, no identifying marks, no insignia.

Inside

CSM unleashes suppressing fire intending to keep the soldiers in their room long enough for the thermite to burn, at his first break in fire CSM throws a sleep gas grenade into the doorway.

[Ironcastle]

Inside

Soldier: Gas!

As the soldiers scramble to put on masks, one picks up the grenade and throws it away, but inhales some in the process and is essentially knocked out.

Soldier: Man down! Use smoke!

Two more soldiers throw smoke between them and their two opponents, which begins to fill the air.

Roof

As the soldier hears a faint, sharp hissing noise, he turns around to see a Carbon Dogs soldier lowering a pistol away from the sniper. He quickly activates his radio.

Soldier: Blue on bl-

He is almost immediately tranquilised by another Carbon Dogs soldier.

Command: Say again, overwatch. Overwatch, come in, over.

Gate

Additional reinforcements have arrived from inside the base, including two Hunters armed with RCWS Mk30 .50 heavy machine guns.

Inside

Chief pulls back behind the corner of the hallway, signalling for Snake Man to do the same.


Outsie:

S.O-27 begins to stealthily pull back as the other drones continue to fire.

[Ironcastle]

Inside

With the suppressing fire over, the soldiers begin to move up after Police Chief and Snake Man. Four stay behind to cover the partially-melted door.

The lights on the elevator indicate that is is going up, towards the main facility.

Command Centre

Radio Operator: Sir, we've lost contact with the roof team. I think one shouted blue on blue before we lost him.

Director: Send a squad up and disarm whoever is still up there. Use both doors.

A squad of twelve is en route to the roof. Each wears a blue armband on their left arm.

[Banana Federation]

Inside:

Chief, leading CSM, begins sprinting around corners randomly, in an attempt to lose the soldiers.


Outside:

The drones continue their barrage, as some begin circling around the base to different locations, and one launches a fragmentation grenade, that doesn’t actually have any shrapnel in it. Meanwhile, 27 continues to pull back.

Roof

The Carbon Dogs quickly help their comrades change into the black of the Ironian soldiers, putting the jumpsuits of the Carbon Dogs onto the Ironians
