Speaking of the GJU, where exactly will it be based... Will it have multiple facilities/ships/floating fortresses? Might be a good idea to figure this out if we haven't already. I could perhaps volunteer said 1250m long transforming ship if its not too overkill?

But we will need greater mobility than that, and since it's gonna be an Any Tech RP then your idea sounds good. I could donate pilots, transport, and space on the airships. Rolling Thunder would work perfectly for the transports, and maybe Storm Cloud for the AACs and Hurricane or Cyclone or something for the ABS?

This works for me to if we need any countries for operations to go down in I can provide several, on the merc char thing I can use nations to hire mercs and then supply henchmen, I was thinking we could even set it up so people could "apply" for merc chars and maybe picking a couple for that mission and then supplying henchmen and maybe a boss to kill off. and sorry Olwe about getting off topic we'll keep it in track from here out for you.

Yeah, those names could work. Also, nice to see someone else using airborne aircraft carriers.

Actually, now that I think about... the Locust came as a "special bonus helicopter" with the Avalanche, but was also sold separately... meaning it was quite easy for someone with rich parents to have 2 or even 3 or 4 GI Joe helicopters, all of them presumably named Locust. So we could give the same names to all of our smaller vehicles, if they're all the same class of aircraft or motorcycle or whatever. This would also allow Olwe to keep naming all of its fighters after different butterfly species.

Skills: Very capable at close range combat and a decent shoot as well. Strong in the One Power in combat-related things, not so much on other stuff. Can do stealth and infiltration if he has to, but is not too great at it.
Preferred Equipment: A shockblade/gun hybrid capable of both close and far range combat and some regular knifes.
Specialization: Combat, both with weapons and with the Power.
Reason for joining your side of the conflict: Annoyance at the current Emperor's position that wars are inefficient and should be avoided if possible- hell, what's the point of maintaining a military if you won't use it anyway...

I usually name my airships after cities, and I don't really bother coming up with fighters (partially because it's rare for me to use them IC). Looking to change it up, though. Doubt I'll bother coming up with new ones for the aerial battle stations, but the rest...

Anything else we should know:Soritia is home to three races, two of which I listed, the third is a surprise and my SECOND antagonist, the Yukis are my protagonist/antagonist, they are slightly confused about what they want to be, but are seen as evil for their sheer
cluelessness/insensativity for what they are doing to the world(Yes, it is worse in the teenage boys). They are extremely powerful mages, with a wide array of magic types, some are rarer, some are nearly extinct, and some may not exist at all, you'll have to see. The Yuki/Soritians also have non-arcane abilities, that can be anything from pyrokinesis to controlling gravity(Though that won't happen in this, unless I face an unbeatable opponent).

They all appear as humans, though the Yuki are usually Albino, and so are the Soritians, except Soritians almost always come in sets of twins, one twin with black hair, one with silver. Both of the races are exceptionally beautiful as well.

I propose this for a plotline (although I am open to other suggestions) because this would certainly raise the interest of an interstellar space force; ancient alien terroist organization with a starkiller weapon are pursued by an interstellar alliance injured and desparete they stash the super weapon on a backwater planet and leave it in pieces for other members of their organization, they never come and the componants location are lost to time, this leaves it open for an evil alien to show up but not necessarily, this is the long game, the short game would be each componant would be its own doomsday device and either Castle Inc or one of my other cliche evil nations could show up and try to snatch it from the Brothers in Arms Deployed Across Space and Stars or B.A.D.A.S.S

Love that acronym, but I don't think we're allowed to say "ass" in thread titles so we're probably gonna stick with the GJU. If only I was running things here, then there would be no censorship... but alas, this is not the case.

Sounds really good. As for the rp, I think about making more mercenaries (they can be added as needed), but am a bit undecided how to go about them. I could either make henchmen (singular, fleshed out characters like the named members of Cobra in GI Joe) or types of mooks (squads of characters that more follow a theme, for when you want to outnumber the heroes) that you can by the dozen.
And I currently can only post about once per day (busy with school) so Castle Inc. would be free to control my characters in the meantime.

The mooks thing has also been done by GI Joe (Cobra Officer, Iron Grenadier, the various types of Vipers, etc. are not technically named characters), so we could work with both and still be true to the flavor of the original inspiration for the RP... maybe have some unique mercenary characters who are really, really badass and therefore much greater threats to our good-guy characters, but have them backed by hordes of mooks as well.

Now, a few notes on what happened last night.

To the group at large: Thoricia's right, 8 new pages in less than 24 hours is too much to keep up with on my limited schedule and if I see it happen again I'm gonna ask the mods to lock this thread.
