On the topic of humans, though... Humans in the rps and also in the major sci-fi franchises are always like the average species, all bland and no advantages. But like, what if humans were the largest or strongest compared to other aliens, or they were the fastest or smartest, or we can stand temperatures that's too hot/cold for most other species, you know what I mean?

At least ME gave us sort of a strength against other nations in that we have more ingenuity and a stronger driving willpower compared to the stronger, smarter and more powerful species of the galaxy.

Eh, sometimes it drives into Humanity fuck yeah, and that gets annoying :|

ME does it right but even they pulled a Humanity Fuck Yeah.

Who did it the best in this day and age?

In terms of being normal or in terms of "Humanity fuck yeah"-ness?

Star Trek and Star wars did a good job. Humanity didn't save the galaxy in Star Trek, the Federation did, dozens of species did, together. Same with Star Wars, but humans just happen to be a bit more in population compared to everyone else.

If you're an alien and loudly proclaim your nonexistant superiority to mankind, then Mefpan will show you just how superior you are. And if you are superior and intend to show us, then we'll make you bleed dearly for each show you give us until none of you are left.

I do, however, recommend a simple non-aggression treaty, clear demarcation of colonization boundaries and a few trade agreements. What's it gonna be?

Hey, not every Salarian is like that. Solus near the end, when he met Grunt and Wrex and had dealt with his colleague was actually really regretful and messed up because he did it.
