Preferred Equipment: Carries a jeweled staff for healing.
Specialization: Medic (while tough, if should be noted he is NOT a fighter. Dystan Healers take an oath of nonviolence)

Essentially. I'd class vamps as generally lawful evil, and lycans chaotic evil or evulz.

Me too however I usually have a offshoot of the vampires called the Nosferatu that have beaten the thirst but at the cost of their appearance (they are ugly ugly misshapen beings) as well as being more suceptable to light, they are however physically stronger (taking the age factor into account) and masters of manipulating vermin as well as skilled shadow magic users

For Lycanthropes I had a backstory (until I relized I completely copied White Wolfs backstory for their Werewolf:Apocalypse >.<) but essentially it was there was one group of Wiccanthropes (shapeshifters) a divide is caused and the Lycan tribes are corrupted by evil making them stronger and faster they do however lose their elemental powers which the Wiccan retain.

My vampires tend to be essentially lichs - they drink blood to preserve their good looks instead of going the way of most classical lichs, who mummify themselves and eventually tranform into fossil elementals, living shadows or obsidian elementals (which are a compromise of both). Some vampires also drink the blood of mythical creatures, which tends to have a stronger effect and stronger side effects.

My lycans tend to be druids or living magical weapons (both utilize the same enchantments to transform) - those newly transformed tend to be controlled by their bestial side, those who are born with it tend to be in control.
