Jason and Karen had delivered the Kareoke gear earlier, then had [off scene] taken a trip down to South Sands on the train, before returning back to Barentsburg, their truck, a grey DS900 sits not too far away as they left that behind to make their way down to South Sands.

As they ride the tram, Michaela and Karen spend time chatting about childhood experiences, for Karen did not have the luxury of a loving family, Michaela however did, as they talked to each other, Zoe and Jason chatted with the priest for it turns out that Father Grey is quite a petrol head rather than a priest who sits and plays with a model railroad.
Arriving at the stop that has the Northern Cross the group enter, Rob opens the doors for the young women then after Jason has entered he follows Jason in, "Thank you father" says Jason as he enters the bar, Karen on the other hand makes her way over to the bar still wearing her signature catsuit though it is however not totally skintight as unlike Michaela's it features a fabric inner liner so you don't have to use body talc and so as such it is quite durable compared to the regular night club style catsuit that Michaela and Nebo wear.Jason and Karen had delivered the Kareoke gear earlier, then had [off scene] taken a trip down to South Sands on the train, before returning back to Barentsburg, their truck, a grey DS900 sits not too far away as they left that behind to make their way down to South Sands.

Aleks was tending the bar still, having been chatting with Nebo and Luddie, when the young lady walked in. She looked a little disheveled, along journey had drained her of energy. Aleks smiled and walked to her when she sat at the bar.
"Hello, Ms. Your a new face to the old Northern Cross. I welcome you to our home. What would you like?" He came off friendly and warm to the poor woman. After a moment he retrieved what she had asked for.
"I'm Aleksandar, but most just call me Aleks or Ksandar. What's your name, Ms? " Aleks inquired to the young woman as he cleaned a glass with a cloth.

When they pulled up to the pub, John unfastened his seatbelt, and was about to thank Lars for his kindness before Lars gave him the option of headed straight to bed. "Do you know what? I think the bar can wait. If you honestly don't mind me staying at yours for this evening, I would be indebted to you," John said to Lars, before buckling his seatbelt once more.
Now he knew where the bar was, he could come back anytime. A free bed for the evening didn't seem like a two-time offer, so John was keen to take the opportunity while he had it. Thinking of Lars' business offer, John decided to explain his motivation behind moving to Barentsburg. "The Strettan store is a big success. When we began to look for places to move to, I saw Barentsburg and it was perfect. There is a vibrant music scene locally, which can only help a record store, and my wife is an amazing chef. She loves working with seafood, so, well. The seafood around here is apparently a staple food. It's a bit of a rarity in Stretta.
"Anyway, for a couple of months after the new store opens, the old store will be largely financing it, and we'll have all the connections of course to buy stock from. It should be fairly simple, it's just a case of finding a premises and getting customers in the door. That place we passed just there looked like a good location, though."

Romberg wrote:"Alright. I'll just write down the address of the bar just in case, so you can get here by taxi if you want." Lars said, as he slowly pulled the SUV out from its spot back to the streets. It left the city centre, and drove towards the North, a rather wealthy suburb with many large houses (Not yet mansions) that faced the sea. Lars drove the SUV onto the driveway into the garage, then shut the engine down and waited for the garage door to close. Inside the garage, it was darkness, the first real glimpse of it that Lars had seen in a few days. Lars then got out, and began to help John unpack his luggage. He took them inside through a side door into the main body of the house, where there was a rather large hall that served as the living room and a place for any meetings Lars may have with his superiors. He then went up a floor and turned to the left, opening a door to reveal an already furnished set of rooms.
"Here's our guest room" Lars said. It was slightly larger than the average hotel suite, with a large bed, ample space and an inbuilt toilet. "Internet and phone connection is free, and satellite TV is provided. There's a gym and a swimming pool downstairs, and you're free to raid the fridge in the kitchen below at any time. Outside of the main door, just hail a taxi if you need to go anywhere. I'll be on the other side in my study. Just call me if you need anything, alright? You can stay here as long as you need."

Jason, holding his wallet scanned the drinks list that is located alongside the spirit glasses before glancing down at Karen then across at the rest of the party, "what you want?" he asks, "and I presume the good father would also like a drink, so one light ale for the good father" he asks Aleks, though Karen, also looking at the list of drinks, "just a vodka and orange please" she says, her voice just about audible with all the hubbub around the bar. Zoe and Michaela look at Jason, "two light ales please" they say. With that, Jason confirming the order looks at Aleks, "thats three light ales, one vodka and orange and a pint of cider, I think I will try some of that New Engollese sweet cider that was dropped off the yesterday". He pulls out his card, "I presume you take plastic" he says as he slides one arm around his wife, Karen.
Zoe looks at Jason, "We'll be over there in the corner" she says before glancing over to a table in the corner of the bar, then together Michaela and Zoe, head over there "c'mon father" says Zoe to Father Robert Gray.

Aleks took the quick notes of the order down on his notepad. "Alright, so we have, three light ales, a screwdriver, and cider. A nice glass of Gertners from Neu Engollon will suit you well. Sounds good. It'll be right up. And yes plastic is good here. Would you like to open a tab for the night?" Aleks says as he takes down the card information. He places the pencil back behind his ear and slides the card back to Jason.
Aleks is then quick to his work to fill the order. Pulling out a cold bottle of Gertners and a glass. Three ales with frosty mugs. Made up the quick cocktail with a shot of Grey Goose vodka and fresh orange juice in a high ball glass. Aleks placed the screwdriver with a coaster infront of Karen and the glass of Gertners set in front of Jason. Aleks placed the rest of the order on a round carrying tray and brought them to the table in the corner Zoe and the others had sat at.

"Thanks Lex" says Karen before making her way over to Michaela, Zoe and the priest, she looks at Jason, "oh Jase, its Neu Engollian not Neu Engoleese, say that in Neu Engollon you'd probably get shot or lynched!" she joked. As Aleks placed the order on the table by the (then trio as jason and Karen had not yet made it to the bar by the time Aleks had delivered the drinks to it), Father Gray slid a five dinar tip to Aleks with a smile.
Looking at the vodka orange, Karen says to Jason "Normally Ry uses fizzy orange, this is the flat stuff, oh well"

The store itself is run by an elderly gent, a crochety old git who at 87 is still sharp, he runs the store with his grandson as his son works in the nearby docks as longshoreman, and yes he has many of fishing stories to tell, some may be a little bit spiced up a bit but who really cares, though there seems to be some (friendly) rivalry between the old man and his grandson about who can land the biggest fish, so far and with proof to prove it, its the old man who seems to be winning the wager for this month and there is a photo to prove it, a 40lb behemoth of a catfish caught in the deep and clear Lake Hai'lu'kai.

"Wow, what a catch." Lars remarked before he took out the piece of paper with his own fishing specifications.
"So, back home I used to use this set of fishing gear. I didn't take it with me, so could you help me check if you've got any of it in stock? And while you're at it, I hope it's not too much to ask for the rules and regulations with regards to fishing here. Primarily, can I eat what I catch, and what are the quotas for each fish species?"
Back home, when he was not working, Lars would often pack a full days' worth of food, and either bait to go fishing or ammunition to spend a day in the woods hunting. He'd take back his prey, making sure that they fell within government regulations, and cook it for a hearty meal for the family.
