After clearing it with Heaven character number 2

Name: Duren Stera
Age: 46
Species: Dhampyr
Eye color: Grey
Hair: Blond
Weight: 150lbs
Height: 5'9
Weaponry: Ancient Holy Blade in the shape of a longsword with a blessed cross as the hilt. Full Plate Mail, Kite Shield, Barded Warhorse.
Attire: Duren maintains his armor with the intent of it being as impressive as possible, and wears it almost all the time, despite the weight.
Occupation: Knight Grand Master
Bio: Duren is the Grand Master of the Order of the Flaming Rose, a Knightly Order that was only recently granted authority by the pope. It is exclusivly made up of highly religious Dhampyr who fanatically believe that if they devote their lives to wiping out the monsters that plauge the lands (Vampires, Werewolves, Dhampyr) they will be forgiven their 'sin' of being a half vampire.

Duren was always teased and tormented as a child, and grew to despise his father he had never met because he saw his vampire blood as the cause for all his suffering. He found himself spending time in a local church, and as the town he was in was particually unfaithful the priest welcomed him, despite his blood.

As he grew into a man Duren spent large amounts of his time in church, studying the ways and preaching of god. He would often debate with the priest for hours on end and soon became a very persuasive speaker. However his life was to change when he would meet his hated vampire father again.

When his father returned, with the belief that he 'owned' the town, the priest sent word to a nearby order of knights. Upon recieveing the preists message the knights set out to slay the vampire. However they proved no match and, just as the last knight was about to die at the vampires blade, Duren grabbed a ancient blade one of the knights had dropped and stabbed his father in the back. Afterwards, as he looked over the dozen of dead bodies of what had been noble men, Duren was struck by inspiration. He would form his own knightly order, one who would not be simply slaughtered by Vampires and Werewolves, one who would use their own cursed blood against them. One made up of Dhampyr who served the will of the Church.

By now he had become a very pursuasive speaker, and he used that to find sponsers all over the land. Soon he had the resources, and soon after he started recruiting Dhampyr of any age, offering forgivness in the eyes of god if they joined his crusade. The Order of the Flaming Rose has only grown, and it is now one of the most feared Knightly Orders by Vampires and Werewolves alike.

Duren himself is a poor fighter, instead he is a very pursuasive and devout individual. His swords hilt acts as a cross and repels vampires with considerable effect. He is usually found with a small bodyguard of 25 Knights, and when required that number can swell as Duren has become very good at whipping crowds of humans into a religious frenzy. If he is hunting a particually dangerous foe he will call on more of his knights from across the land, and as each Knight is quite capable of recruiting more Knights no-one truly knows just how many Dhampyr warriors he has on call.

neat songri double play double mint gum hehe

Can vampire's eat vampire blood and gain the eaten vampire abilities similar to how a human can drink vampire blood and absorb the vampire's abilities? If so that would give a huge reason as to why Reisha would be in exile...just asking before action. If not i do have another optional idea...

A vampire who drinks either a Vampires, or a Dhampyr's blood gains some of their memories based on how much blood is drunk. The more blood the more memories. However they do not gain any special abilities, although they will learn the thery behind skills the vampire being drunk from has.

And anything that drinks from a vampire becomes emotionally attached to that vampire.

Hey, is there any villages in the colder areas of this region? I plan to have my tribe wander into one of them to buy supplies to head further on to find land for themselves. They may also start working as mercenaries for food and supplies at this point as well considering how desperate they are to survive...

Well, the whole region is like EXTREMELY cold. So yeah. You could be up in the northern reaches of the Zye, there are a lot of villages up in that direction.

Okay, that works for me. These villages are they under the control of powerful tribes or Kingdoms that my war band needs to worry about? I mean like Mongol like Empire seeking to slaughter all in their path kind of trouble? The Boragoths are currently acting a lot more diplomatic these days instead of acting as hot headed mercenaries they are mostly wandering and gathering supplies. They are looking for a homeland to settle and rebuild their people.

I am not sure if this goal will conflict with the northern regions powers…

Well, the city of Bellihimi is up in that side and its under control of a Religious power and they may try to interfere with your war band but its not likely. As far as any tribes go, one of the more powerful but also somewhat peaceful tribes in the Calamharin though they wont disturb as long as you dont disturb them.

idk if you made one or not but a map would be so much easier to understand especially for me as im more graphically informed. That would just make a whole lot more sense to me as to where the villages are. Otherwise ill just be lost the whole time
