Laura lead the way into the slave store and showed Tito the console. "Just pick what you need in terms of preferences, and order it. I'll pay with this card and you can collect it from one of the guards. Just give them the little piece of card the machine spits out."

Tito started playing around with the console, trying to figure it out. He looked at all of the preferences, noting some of the more ridiculous ones. Seriously? Is cooking and cleaning not good enough for this country? Finally, he actually started ordering. He was browsing around when he saw a boy that looked just a bit younger than he was. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and a face full of freckles. He was kind of plain looking and feminine, and he couldn't pronounce the name of the country he was from. However, it said that he had experience in cooking, cleaning, and gardening, which would lighten the work load for his family. Plus, he kind of looked like him, which would do good in case someone started asking questions. So, he decided to buy him. Pressing the order button, he waited...

"I guess you know your country better than I do, so I guess I'll get a gun. I have no idea how to use a weapon." Andreas had never even touched a gun before.

"Sure you can get a gun. You can get all manner of weapons at the weapons store which I tend to use. Do you want to go now?"

Andreas looked over at the console and saw Tito and Laura. Pointing toward them, he said to Blacksen, "I think they look familiar."

Lucis had been acessing the net while the others talked. Acessing traffic cameras..... Please wait... Access granted.... Well isn't this a interesting scene... After wa while he began to get bored, Well, back to the group. Disconnecting.... System Corruption detected... Critical error.... Camera system overload... Too easy... They need better security. Lucis took a quick look around, "So what did I-" A gunshot rang out, Scanning.... Source detected... Target: Unknown..... Advice: Continue... "well, that was interesting. Do people get shot here normall?" He saw the body being carried off, "Well at least your people have a repurposement branch of the city cleaners.... That is what they are doing right? Repurposing the dead flesh?" Lucis watched as Vladim argued with Camelia, "Excuse me. Wa that a direct threat to my well being? I don't advise that, it won't end well for you." He sighed, Hmm... So Vladim is a threat.... Now what's the best way to proceed..... Lucis watched Camelia, "I agree, she shouldn't give you the information if she doesn't want to, she is after all a mostly free person. SoHfuck off." Lucis laughed, completely unintimidated by Vladim's threat. he moved closer to Camelia and whisphered, "Erm... Camelia, I hate to be a bother, but I think you can officially clasify Vladim as a potential threat. So just a heads up. If he tries anything or something. I'm sure you, being superior could easily defeat him for me...."

Andreas looked over at the console and saw Tito and Laura. Pointing toward them, he said to Blacksen, "I think they look familiar."

Blacksen looked to where Andreas was pointing and shrugged. "Quite familiar," he replied. "Do you want to go over and see if they still remember us?"

"Wow, your observant," Camelia whispered jokingly to Lucis. "I noticed that from the beginning."

Lucis chuckled, I'm sorry I've been away for a while. Causing a few problems and such." he sighed, "So is there anything you will need at the weapon shop? I'm more than happy to provide it if it will help you do your job better." He paused, "I finally know what you are! You aren't really a pet. You are more like an employee, right?" Lucis nodded happily, "So you help me and then I pay you. but instead of money you get your freedom and other gifts depending on how well you do." He sighed, "And sorry about the whole mind probing thing. I thought that's what you meant. You see, cyborgs use wires to share thoughts, ideas, and generally anything we want to. So I figured that's what you meant, even though you aren't a cyborg I can still take things, I just can't send you anything in return."

Lucis chuckled, I'm sorry I've been away for a while. Causing a few problems and such." he sighed, "So is there anything you will need at the weapon shop? I'm more than happy to provide it if it will help you do your job better." He paused, "I finally know what you are! You aren't really a pet. You are more like an employee, right?" Lucis nodded happily, "So you help me and then I pay you. but instead of money you get your freedom and other gifts depending on how well you do." "That's fine. Well, this gun is probably good enough, but I'll need a sword, and I need to get my hands on a sniper rifle and a grocket launcher again."

Andreas looked over at the console and saw Tito and Laura. Pointing toward them, he said to Blacksen, "I think they look familiar."

Blacksen looked to where Andreas was pointing and shrugged. "Quite familiar," he replied. "Do you want to go over and see if they still remember us?"

"Let's do that." Andreas signaled to Leva to follow them.

Lucis waved his hand, "Sure... But what are you expecting, a tank? Rmeber all you have to do is protect me, not fight in a war. If things get to that, we'll run. You said so yourself, if you might get hurt badly then you won't help. so it would be useless to be were you weren't. But what exactly do you expect at the academy?" He sighed, 'You might be a tad bit over cautious, unless you know something I don't..... So do you? And aren't you a little out of practice? You've been locked up for who knows how long." He paused, "I'm not saying that you can't do your job.... Just that you might need a bit of brushing up....."

"I'll need a rifle and a sword I think, this knife doesn't have the reach I need." Vladim hoped that the others would allow him to get a weapon, from their past discomfort though they may not even allow him a way of defending himself. Vladim looked over to his friend, the man was glancing at him every so often making sure he was safe.

Lucis waved his hand, "Sure... But what are you expecting, a tank? Rmeber all you have to do is protect me, not fight in a war. If things get to that, we'll run. "Yes," Camelia said, "I have been locked up, for approximately 2 weeks. Most of my other purchases were rather short: someone atempted to get me to become a maid in his big house, I can safely say that he isn't enjoying life anymore. Someone atempted to get me to become a sex slave, he ended up out the upstairs window. However, I stuck around as an assassin for about 4 months, before she started imposing her restrictions and I assassinated her husband."

As Andreas and Blacksen made their way towards Tito and Laura, a guard dragged a struggling boy out by a heavy-looking chain which, on the pass of the card from Laura, he passed into Tito's hand.

Blacksen was speechless.
"I had thought Andreas was the least likely slave owner, but you?" he laughed. "Bet you couldn't get over the possibility of having someone completely in your power?"

Blacksen's raised voice atracted Jean-luc who lead them towards the main group. "Wafes and strays?" Liam asked. "Where did you drag them out from, some dodgy school in the middle of nowhere?"

Lucis laughed, "You as a maid?! How the hell did you not beat him to death with his own arms when he told you?" His laughter died out at the second proffession, "Oh.... I really hope you forced him to swallow his own arms.... People like that.... Well, at least you won't have to worry about that from me! as you can see I'm a cyborg and we've all been raised better than to care about stupid things like that!" Lucis nodded, Will human depravity ever cease? "Now the third makes sense.... What restrictions did the lady put on you? I'd hate to have my work restricted, I've built far too many things to be restricted." Lucis paused, 'By the way what did you mean by 'Even the unloving can learn to love'? Is it some kind of weird proverb?" He turned looking at Vladim, "Why do you need another weapon? Still plotting to kill Jean-Luc?"

Camelia sighed. "By that I was referring to Vladem wanting to kill Jean-luc. When I saw into Jean-luc's mind, I saw no love in it, so I thought that was why Vladem wanted to kill him."

Tito made a face. "It's for a good reason, I assure you." He made an annoyed face as he wrapped the chain tighter around his hand. He turned towards the boy. "Hey! Relax! I ain't gonna hurt you unless you give me a reason to, so quit it. So, now what is your name?"

"I don't care if he's unloved and I didn't want to kill him." Vladim sighed "I don't want to kill anybody, why wou-" Vladim stops himself for a second "nevermind let's just go to the weapons store." Vladim was eager to leave this place.

[New Cinoth]

Lucis sighed, "So that's what you meant.... Interesting. Is not feeling love really a bad thing? I've never considered it that way." Not feeling love..... Is that such a bad thing? I can't really see how. Maybe it's one of those things that I can't "feel".... Or maybe tito was just off his rocker when he explained it to me. Lucis looked at Camelia, "So, I guessing that if you think not feeling love is bad then you must love someone. So who is it? And why didn't they keep searching for you..... Unless they are still searching.... Ohhhh, this could end very badly..... you wouldn't happen to have a crazy fiance or boyfriend would you?" Lucis looked over at Vladim, He most certainly bears watching....

Vladim looked back at Lucis. The robot kept on staring at Vladim making him uncomfortable, "why do you keep looking at me like that?" Vladim asked wanting to get an answer from the machine

"I don't love someone in the sense of the word that you suggest," Camelia replied. "But I love my family, and I love the goodness in human society."

Lucis sighed, "Goodness and humans go together.... Who would have thought you'd be the one to say that after all you've been through, I figured you would be more bitter. But I guess not!" He sighed, "You must really want to get back to your familly. I assure you that as soon as our contract is up you can leave, I would allow visitation, but you might never come back or your family might want to kill me for.... erm.... Owning you." Lucis laughed, "So I would, but I don't have any garuntee that you will keep your end of our bargin. maybe some day I will...." Lucis turned at the sound of Vladim's voice, "Why you ask? I stare because I can. What are you gonna do about it? Sue me?"

Despite what was said, the boy continued to struggle. It seemed the more Tito held onto the chain, the more he struggled. After about five minutes of this, Tito had enough. Using all of his strength, he yanked the chain hard, sending the boy to the floor with a loud THUD.
"You heard what I said right?" Tito asked through gritted teeth. He didn't have time for this bullshit.
The boy slowly sat himself up, then nodded.
"Then answer the damn question. What is your fucking name?"
"...Leon."

"I ask because you stare at me like you would a man you wanted to kill." Vladim said matter-of-factly "can we just please get to the weapons store and quickly? I don't like standing where a man with a gun just shot the man standing right next to me." Vladim was obviously anxious to get to the weapons store.

[Vakolic]

"Tito!" Liam exclamed. "What in the name of hell are you doing! You khnow, their's such a thing as breaking them in gently, and besides, that typeo f collar should probably come off soon. We'll all have to get them collared, by the way."

[New Cinoth]

Lucis sighed, "What lead you to that conclusion? You can't see my eyes or any other part of my face. I might not be your biggest fan, but I certainly don't want to kill you," Well, yet anyways. Lucis laughed, "Afraid of getting shot? It doesn't hurt that much. You just have to deal with it and what it does." Lucis looked at Liam, "What? Who are you- OH Tito! long time no see! How's it been?" Lucis looked back over to Liam, "what do you mean we have to get them collared? I thought we spent time taking their collars off."

[Vakolic]

"It's technicly not a legal requirement," Liam said, "Under section 23 of my favourite 'provention of serious abuse act.' It's just the custom, a collar with your name and a gps microchip that locks around the neck."
