I think Blacksen would be a good king. He's got some very good commerical ideas, and his education and health pushes all seem to be in helping the poor."

"Bu-" a single gunshot can be heard in the distance and Vladim's ears prick up, he jumps to the side and a man standing near where he once was falls to the floor in a pool of blood. Loud shouts can be heard and presumably the man with the gun is restrained. Vladim meanwhile begins franticly looking around before clearing his throat and continuing. "Yes but his ideas are too radical, he seeks to tear down the foundations of your nation and rebuild them according to his own ideas."

"That isn't common," Jean-luc said. "The person who did that must have been a complete idiot. The black legion will have him killed, painfully. It might take weeks.

The man is captured and led past the group. He was of Woodstovian decent and had a knife jammed into his heart looking similar to the one that Vladim wields. Vladim continues looking for something. "I think maybe we should move..." he says worriedly.

"It's a standard issue military knife he must've killed himself to make sure he wouldn't become a prisoner..." Vladim looks at a man who is buying something. The man looks to be around his mid thirties and has a short sword. The man looks at Vladim for a second and nods slightly before turning around again. Vladim breathes a sigh of relief and turns back to the group. "So anyway Blacksen won't be a good king."

"It doesn't matter anyway," Jean-luc said quietly. "When Althyus dies, he'll be the king by default.

Who was that man you were looking at? He's got a very poor-quality sword."

"Wow, you're tough. Does that mean that I need to get her a gun? I'm not big on compliance, I'm all for the big battle of wills.

Seriously Andreas, you've not lived here. You don't know how much a decent firearm is necisary."

First, Blacksen tells me to be harsh and then he thinks I'm too harsh. She is a girl and a slave girl at that. She needs to know her place. But, Blacksen's reaction isn't surprising because he's the prince who doesn't believe in respect for authority. "I will protect her if that is necessary."

Suddenly, the slave walked up to Andreas and spoke to him. "Master, what is my name?" Andreas responded. "I haven't decided that yet." I'm going to make her wait for a while. He was done shopping for slaves and hoped Blacksen would soon decide that it was time to go somewhere else.

Blacksen was dumbfounded. This girl was pathetic.
He looked at Andreas to assess whether he'd grown a few more inches, or something that could be considered a weapon, while they'd been waiting. He hadn't, and this girl was caving into him?

Slowly, he grew extremely enraged at her and then burst out in an angry, South Celerian accent "Your name is whatever you want your name to be. I'm Blacksen. That's Andreas. So, who are you? Who do you want to be?"

"Plenty of ways. You may have a concealed firearm, you may have friends waiting to kill him.

I don't know either of you. However, I'm not about to give any info out that's going to endanger someones life, unless the target has done something very bad, or has threatened to do something very bad. I'm not definitely sure that he's not a murderer, but I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt at the moment."
