Lucis looked over at Jose, "Well cannibalism is allowed here, and human flesh is one of the most used ingredients so I'm pretty sure it does have human flesh. What's wrong with people? You eat Iguanodon but not people. What if the people taste really good? You can't really say you don't like it just because of a few ingredients." Lucis looked over at Leon, "It's not poisonous.... Because if it's served here I doubt they are using some of the more rare mushrooms that tend to cause a fungal blossom in your stomach if you aren't used to them."

"Don't bank on that Lucis," Blacksen warned. "Food safety isn't really a thing in the gvh. We basicly eat what we want."

Before Blacksen had said this, however, Camelia had tasted a bit of the odd, hideously-smelling substance. "It's...edible," she said. "Not the best-tasting food I've had, but certainly not like something you get at those Turkish takeaways next to pubs."

The group came back to the table. Ariela had some waffles, Tito had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and Leon just had oatmeal. They sat down and started eating.

"Fuck, I forgot the ketchup. You guys need anything, something to drink?"

Ariela just waved him off, while Leon ignored him, slowly eating his oatmeal.

"Pfft...whatever. I'll bring back orange juice. No more fucking coffee..." He said, muttering the last part. No caffee for them, period.

"My stomach...feels...uneasy. Not trying...to throw up..." Leon said, between spoonfuls. He was speaking slowly, and sounded groggy. But that was to be expected, after getting hit on the head with a metal chair. "It...tasted okay..."

Tito came back at that moment, managing to hold a ketchup bottle and three cups of orange juice. "Here" He said, while passing the cups.

Blacksen poured a drink with one of the jugs, making sure to hide its identity under the table.

Lifting the cup up, he slid the double espresso over to Tito. "This should help," he said.

Tito slowly took the cup. He then stared at it for a while, then pasted it back. "No. I think I know enough about you fucks to not trust you with food." He then proceeded to load his sandwich with ketchup.

He slid a sausage made from human meat onto Tara's breakfast plate. "Give it a try."

There was a horrified fascination in Tara's face. She just stared at the piece of meat in front of her for a while. Then, slowly, she picked up her fork and knife, cut a small piece off it and put it in her mouth. She chewed, let it roll around in her mouth, soaked in the taste. Then, a bit hesitantly, she swallowed. "That... that wasn't half bad."

A lot of it comes from braindead geneticly engineered people now, although you can pay a bit extra if you want to get more...live stock, mainly from the silver isles. We've got these countries to the south of us, and they've got a weaker military. They're extremely useful."

Leon began to get up, but was stopped by Ariela. "I'll get it."

Tito gave her an annoyed look, and she smirked at him. When she came back, she looked like she was about to give the cup to Leon, then pulled back and took a sip. She immediately pat it out and dropped the cup. "Ew! What the hell is that shit?!"

Tito began hysterically laughing, while Leon stared at her confused.

"You should be careful princess" Jason started as he cut out another piece of his pancake, "Don't listen to him. Humans are toxic beings. If our Cinothian friend here's not actually kidding and there's real human in there, you'll get really sick, and Kuru isn't a funny condition"

He dipped the piece into the puddles of syrup on his plate before eating it.
