He shook his head, "Please The One? who knows what pleases it, or even if it wants us to continue to exist. the truth is we don't know apart from what it decides to show us. We don't even know what gender it is, or if it even has one." Lucis shrugged, "You see Omnism is about what you interpret for yourself, not anyone else. That's why murder is legal. Most people see it as alright because it isn't forbidden. We are told to get rid of threats, so we do." Lucis looked over at Andreas, "I'm not denying anything. I've done a lot of things most people would cringe at but I don't think those sorts of things...... However I'm not sure if I still have any humanity left.... I guess I'll have to experiment a bit more to figure out if I do."

"We all have those sorts of thoughts," Camelia said. "Apart from you for some reason, does it not please the one or something?"

Andreas spoke up. "He's either in denial or whatever they did to make him a cyborg took away his humanity."

"No Lucis," Camelia said, "You're definitely human, or at least you look and act vaguely human."

Lucis grinned, "Well, thank you Camelia! Now I don't have to dissect people until I discover what human is and then cut myself open to see if I have something like it." He paused, "I guess you were right about the whole "no mask" business. If I don't have it on I seem more human.... It's just I feel a lot more vulnerable. I feel like someone is constantly aiming at me from the barrel of a sniper rifle.... But it's nice to know that I at least am making some distinctive alteration as a trade off." He sighed, "I have a few questions if you don't mind me asking them..... You don't mind do you?"

He sighed, "Alright, the first question is: After I freed you why did you agree to continue to protect me?" He paused waiting for her to answer or to pass. "The Next is this: Are you afraid of things?" He waited again before continuing. " Do you pity those who are normally too afraid to leave their homes?...... What makes someone human?....... How did you know I was human?..... Is there anyone who isn't human?..... And one last question: How far am I expected to assist you?" He waited after each question, listening patiently.....

"I agreed to protect you because I was grateful that you gave me a weapon which I can now use to persue a very important purpose which I have in mind. Oh, of course I'm afraid of things. I'm afraid of large armies who want to kill me or the people I care about, and I believe that people who are afraid to leave their homes need help not to be so afraid.
As for what makes someone human, I believe that the ability to think human thoughts, and to love and to have emotions, and have human dna is human.
I know you're human because you have human emotions and have human DNA as you're 20 % human, so obviously people without human DNA isn't human.

As for how much I want you to assist me, I want you to do what I ask you to do, unless it engangers your personal safety, and getting a dent doesn't mean endangering your personal safety."

Jairawn is now on his second bottle of whiskey, still isn't drunk, and has decided to pass the time until Blacksen uploads the coordinates on his car by seeing what all the buttons do. One turns the AC on and off, one turns on the radio, one tunes the radio, one makes the drink holders fold up, one changes the time, one locks and unlocks the car, one pops the trunk, one puts the top down, and one injects plasma into the engine to ignite the fuel instead of just little sparks. Jai decides to take the car around the block, and goes at absurdly unsafe speeds, laughing as other cars honk at him. The engine hums, vibrating the white leather seats, and then he's back in the same parking space, figuring out what his new phone can do. I love wealth.

Other than violating that I shouldn't be in any more danger than normal."

" Someone I feel attached and committed to? Eh..... I don't really know anyone like that. Especially since most people are only waiting for a chance to attack me. I don't really trust anyone not to attack me if they were given the chance, so I guess I can't really be committed now can I?" Lucis chuckled, "Love seems quite odd..... I don't think I'll feel it..." he sighed, "But you already said I was human enough so I guess I can just forget about that part." He grinned, "So in two months it'll start appearing? I guess I'll be wearing my mask for quite a long time.... It's too bad they can't just suck it up and get over it. Doesn't the school have air conditioning so that it won't get too hot?"

"Ugh. Hey Lucius, any chance of getting another censorship mask? I sure as hell will need one. Just how hot does it get here? I can understand that clothing can be uncomfortable in extreme heat, but to warrent mass nudity, well, that is something new to me."

"What temperature does it go up to?" asked Osman, laying down his bags and adjusting his turban. "If people must go nude, they must be either stupid or the heat should be burning the cloth."

"Hey...lot's of people walk without shirts and stuff back home...it won't be that bad. Unless of course, the chubby ones do it. Then run like hell." Tito joked. He was being serious about the clothing thing though. "Gives me the perfect excuse to walk around without a shirt. Or wear traditional clothing."

"Well, yes and no.... I can make a pair of goggles or glasses but I don't have the right stuff to make a mask.... And you'd have to pick a house to join if you wanted a proper one." He shrugged, "But I can make eye coverings that'll work the same way. Of course unless you get ports in your head it's going to hurt a little every time the uplink wires have to get into your head."

"Or we could just wrap a blindfold over your eyes. much cheaper, and less invasive" Jason joked. He turned to Osman. "Probably stupid. If it becomes extremely hot, the last thing you want to do is be naked and expose as much skin to the sun as possible. But so far I've have yet to see any logical people, so I guess it's excusable here"

Tito turned to Jason. "But how would you see everything else? Just embrace the skin guys..." He said jokingly.

Rob sat in his office, drinking a flask of beer.
Not much to do these days, was there? With all the students all out getting themselves drunk, killed or pregnant.
He might as well as discuss lesson plans with Carter.
Grunting, he pulled himself out of his chair, and ambled towards Carter's office.
He knocked on the door.

Tito turned to Jason. "But how would you see everything else? Just embrace the skin guys..." He said jokingly.

"It would teach you how to trust others" Jason said jokingly. "Isn't that right, Lucis? well, unless everyone's blindfolded. Then we can pretend to all be blind and act like blind people with our poking stick thingy" (No offense, Vak)

Carter sat in his office, reviewing his next lesson notes and preparing a pop quiz. "Idiot doesn't realize that you can't pass the course by passing the exam by itself" he mummered. Then he heard knocking. He tucked the pop quiz into his desk. "the door's unlocked. Come in"

(OoC: What happened to your sister character? She should be at the mall already...)

Lucis sighed, "I would rather avoid nude people if at all possible. So I can use my own technology to preserve what little decency they have." He sighed, "That would not make trust, Jason. What if someone raised their blindfold and stabbed you int the chest with some sort of poisoned knife? It wouldn't be fun for most people." Lucis shook his head, "I must keep an eye on the situation at all times!"

[Senkaku]

Jairawn was tired of waiting for his car to magically start driving to the hotel, so he decided to find it. And if he couldn't, what the hell. Maybe he could buy Mai a piece of jewellry. The silver car pulls out from the curb with a screech, and Jairawn is soon driving around, looking for the hotel. I really like money. He winds up at what he thinks could be the hotel, but he's fairly drunk by now, so it's hard to know. He calls the academy with his best sober person voice and asks the secretary who answers what hotel the exchange students are booked at.

"I thought it was flamboyent?" Tito asks sarcastically. "It's usually only shirts. And most people just wear the traditional clothes instead..."

"Most people don't wear shirts in the summer months," Camelia said. "They do put a lot of suntan lotion on though, so they don't tend to burn up."

Blacksen was looking around.
"Shall we make a move?" he asked. "Shit! Where'd that new guy go?"
