This is a very rough map of military spending as precent of GDP for each nation.

If people could start filling this out so we can begin to get a ranking. When the map is closer to being doing I'll post it there too.

Kastingrad spends 5-6% of it's GDP on defense.

I'll be taking a break from TF as I decide just what to do with Esto/BU and the Philippines.

So SoH(I think?) Inceptioned me last night.

Secretly I've always kind of wanted to do this, but I didn't think anyone would really like the idea. But it seems to have gotten a favorable review on IRC.

Soviet.
Lunar.
Landing.

That's right: the USSR puts a man on the moon. Or attempts to do so.

I was thinking this would be done in 1976 or so. Only done once for a number of reason, and would only be two Cosmonauts going to the moon.

My full developed thoughts really stops there for sure, but I have some thoughts:
-The lander gets stuck, kicking off a great space rescue (which would be more of a recovery)
-upon reentry, they crash and die
-they land, make it back safely, and become Hero's of the Soviet Union
-The entire operation is classified because it went tragically wrong, the Cosmonauts died in some awful space badger mishap or something
-Something goes wrong with rocket; Overshoot moon, Cosmonauts drift forever in space.

wrong answer.

-Something goes wrong with rocket; Overshoot moon, Cosmonauts drift in space, landing on Mars, colonize Mars, form Martian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, come back in 2014 with soviet martian army

Couple of thoughts:
It would probably be hard to keep the fact that you were sending something to the moon secret. Anyone with space capability would clearly see your launch and all of its maneuvers. What exactly is in it might be harder fro the west to find out, but by looking at mass, acceleration and other easy to find out figures they could probably make a good guess.

Plus it is kinda hard to overshoot the moon in such a manure that you don't end up orbiting either it or coming back to orbit earth.

So in my mind for best RP potentials it is Rescue Mission. For just fluff/backstory either heroes of the soviet union or crash and die on reentry.
Fact Book.

Would anyone have any objects to Trigg being TF's equivalent of France in terms of 19th century firearms and cartridge design?

I might just make a monkey model/Bosquen model based on the T-62, but have the monkey model dumbed down in terms of electronics and such if there's so much interest in it.

I'll just make the turret complex «Terminator» able to fit on ant tank post T-55A series, so you don't have to buy some new tank body all together and just fit them on your T-55As/T-62/72/80/84//90/94s or whatever.

Shit, I might make it for the BMP-3s too.

Much was done about nothing with the Geneva/Hauge.

We have determined to throw our hands in the air because we cant seem to decide what to keep and reject from both to make TF more interesting, but for the most part we play as if both are as is.
