Can anyone tell me exactly which cartridges have been standardized under NACO?

*ANTO

So far, it's 10x22mm ANTO-.40 S&W, 6.35x45mm ANTO, 7.62x51mm ANTO, and .50 BMG. Idk about .338 Lapua Magnum or any PDW round.

Also, as Virana said, 128mm is the tank cannon round and 155mm is the standard artillery round.

We dropped "NACO" for "ANTO".

6.35x45mm ANTO is the standard AR cartridge.
7.62x51mm ANTO is the standard BR cartridge.
10x22mm ANTO (.40 S&W)
.50 BMG is the standard HMG cartridge.

128 mm is the standard tank gun caliber. I believe 155 is still the standard artillery gun caliber.

Thanks. Prem and I got into an argument over whether or not 7.62x51 ANTO was permissible as a service rifle cartridge under ANTO standardization.

I know it's ANTO now I'm not that inactive, was just a slip of the pen.

7.62 it is for me.

7.62 was the standard AR cartridge before it was replaced with 6.35mm. Once battle rifles gained newfound importance on the battlefield (in the form of DMRs), 7.62x51mm was put back into use out of convenience by ANTO members (and of course, this is ignoring its use in MMGs, etc).

If you're using 7.62 as your standard, you'd most likely ICly be in a transition phase from 7.62 to 6.35 for your primary military service rifle. While it's ultimately your choice, that would be my strongly recommended course of action.

Sorry, but I think I'm going to be a bit of a dick and keep the 7.62. :p

I think the 6.35 is neither light enough nor short enough to warrant a cartridge change. The 6.35 cartridge weighs 17 grams and is 64 mm long.
The 7.62 load I use is 21 grams and 70 mm long.

If I tried lightening the 6.35 to achieve a similar benefit the bullet would have horrible sectional density.

Money is money. Plus, we probably exported a lot of ANTO calibers prior to joining the KC, and would keep exporting so long as there was a market.

The nation that keeps talking about how it wants to move away from the Puzak Federations sphere of influence wants said nation to sell or give it strategic bombers?

Think about that then re-ask your question. :P

I'm not sure where you got that impression from, since I know Puz has said several times he would not take kindly to that ICly.

If you took my not speaking out against it as consent, I'm sorry. ICly, its not my problem, its for you and Puz to work out.

Technically, since Renaldi's not in ANTO, having Baltic States a member seems moot since there isn't an easternly expansion of the alliance. Renaldi staying in or perhaps a Germany that's ANTO could help Baltic and maybe even Poland conceivably join ANTO.

So far, just Baltic States seems cray cray.

Yea, by the West :P

Like I said, there would have been no real chance for you to...well become westernized. Theres a very small period of time and given what your surrounded by, the influence would be pretty heavy.

I have a real issue with having given you all that gear and stuff then have you just kind of...well ditch on it. That would cause a real world backlash, and its going to cause an in character backlash.
