A Disaster of Much Magnitute (MT, Interest/Sign Up thread)

I am interested in doing a thread based around the events following a natural disaster in Annaliea, whether it be an earthquake, eruption, tsunami or cyclone. It would follow the lives of victims of the disaster, as well as aid workers, government officials etc.

However before setting up an official OOC thread, I was just looking to see whether this wold be of interest to people. If it is, and gathers around 5-6 peoples interest at least, then I will set up an OOC and IC.

If you are interested, just leave a message saying you are, the kind of person you would like to play, and what kind of disaster you think we should RP.

This does sound interesting.

I'm interested in both RPing as a foreign government and as foreign citizens/tourists who get trapped. That being said, wherever this disaster is should be in a public area where foreigners might be just hanging around (i.e. shopping mall, airport, downtown, etc.).

In terms of who I intend to RP, I want to explore the concept of an average salaryman on a business trip. Not too important.

This seems to be an interesting RP. I liked geology (wanted to be one too), so I'd favor something related to that, like an earthquake or volcanic eruption. (If you need advice/have questions, you can ask me. Scientific RPs are always cool!) My work, though, will most probably be suitable in playing characters in mass casualty incidents. Prolly some aid workers, or native medical personnel.

I'm possibly interested, though I haven't got a lot (within last 4 years, pretty much none) of NS RP experience. If the event is a volcanic eruption, and doesn't happen all of a sudden, I would definitely be interested in playing a scientist - either one of your nation or mine (perhaps doing a study for a university, as an excuse to be there), up to you.

Yeah, this all sounds great! I think it would be a volcanic eruption, and I'll write a full bio about the volcano later. If we get another two or so people, then I'll start it up proper
