We welcome everyone and everypony to the 50th Annual Ulvenan Winter Solstice Festival! The Winter Festival is a secular festival encompassing the Pony Lands wide cultural festival of Hearth's Warming Day and Ulvena's own Winter Solstice Festival from years past. It is held in the Eclipse Palace in the heart of Siyang, the city in which agrarian society and urban metropolis society comes together so elegantly.
This is a time for all of you to experience the exotic culture and technology of Ulvenan society! This is a chance for all of you Ponies and people to experience how life would have been if you had stuck with Steam technology as we have.
This is also a time for healing and reflection. It is almost time for 설날 (New Years) and we should take in the spirit of the season and reflect on what has happened. So we at Ulvena wish to invite the leaders of all nations to participate in this year's Winter Solstice Festival!

Siyang is the capital city of Ulvena and one of the few places where we see the new Western influenced Steam architecture meld together in harmony with the agrarian, calm, and cultured lifestyle of the Ulvenan people before the Industrial Revolution. Situated in a place where the three major rivers of Ulvena meet, one will always find fountains and great gardens of green, inhabited by furry critters of all sorts and sizes. Perfect for those animal lovers.
But nothing in Siyang dwarfs the majestic Eclipse Palace. A massive compound housing over 100 staff and over 50 soldiers, there is no greater place in Ulvena to throw a party. But in the Eclipse Palace, nothing can beat the Courtyard of Flowers, in which much of the nobility socialize in. For you business savvy men and ponies, you can always set up shop in the large Palace Walkway.
