Okay, I think you've got yourself stuck in the past mate. You must be speaking of Mass Effect 1 (who has significantly less advanced gameplay protocol) and not either ME2 or ME3. Because the latter two have some of the best combat-oriented gameplay I've seen for a video game so into explaining everything and anything (except the Crucible, because lol).

ME2 and 3 suck too.

You can't explain the Mods and DLCs. If I wanted tranny on alien porn I would grab a eroge.

This reminds me I have to stop writing erotica.

I didn't mention the mods or DLCs because I have no bloody clue what a FapRP is, nor am I very interested in discovering it.

I'll respect your decision, but I'll respectfully disagree.
I'll also request that you say it a tad more kindly next time.

I'd strongly appreciate it if you mates could read this excerpt and tell me what you think.
Thanks.

606 words out of 4,787.

Have you ever seen war? The disturbing scenes that prelude the full engagement between two armies? Those points of time and technological advances where you no longer need armies of hundreds of thousands armed with spears, swords and shields to decisively win a battle and yet obtain inexplicable and exorbitant casualties.

The war I've seen is slim. It wasn't from one planet to another. It was a deployment that took me racing round a continent a dozen times before it was decided that the adjacent continent was more strategic and thus was to be garrisoned. It was a deployment that would later find that same strategic continent profusely obliterated, holes dug deep into the soil by the impact of mass accelerator cannons. It was then that another continent was decided to be more important, and we moved quickly there. But the enemy would never stop. It would never cease.

It would only torment.

It was already midday and I woke to the sound of gunfire. Bullets smacked against the half-a-metre thick wall of grey, dull cement that stood to my right, penetrating slightly and attempting to make intimidating contact with the walls on the other side of this immense barrier.

‘Contact left!’ one would scream, and a convoy of dozens of marines would shift their guns left and pull their triggers, letting their slugs fly from their barrels at immense speeds. It didn't matter how they hit, nor how many bullets they spent; with the amount of blocks the garrison still had in store, they could continue to operate in such a fashion for a very long time and still be able to keep firing in the same manner. And what with the dozen troops firing in the same direction, one of them was bound to kill the threat they were all seeking to defuse.

‘Corporal!’ I heard someone yell. It was rather common to get up to the sound of bullets, but that normally occurred during the night. It was worse then, as NVG was more limiting than natural light. But this time, the binary suns outside were ringing brightly into the headgear I had placed next to the 'cushion' on which I slept.

‘Desmond, come on!’ they persisted. ‘We're under attack!’

Suddenly, my mind seemed to cross reference the sound of gunfire, aimed at me and not, and the words that the other soldiers said. It seemed odd, but the Circinius weren't exactly know for following the guidebooks of overwhelming a planet, right?

Though I didn’t have any actual sheets with which to cover myself at night when the cool air rolled cross the terrain, I had several thick jackets that I laid on top of me. Hurriedly, my right arm trekked upward, pushing off all of the jackets and reaching for the rifle I had lying up against a wall. It was a modernised weapon, one of the most advanced models to come from the Alliance’s deepest scientific cordons – the N7 Valkyrie. Purposefully named after the famous Spectres, the weapon was capable of putting rounds down the range faster than most other weapons – certainly the Crown – and was one of few that had different sets of firing modes.

Pushing off a feather from what had appeared to be a blue-jay from my armour’s accompanying helmet, I dragged it to my face and slid my head into the enormous orifice that rested beneath it, strapping in the environmental belts into the rest of my hard suit. I pulled the stock of my gun up to my shoulder, grabbed the handle and placed my index finger – covered by the blue hand pads – on the trigger.

Quake is ok, Homeworld is bad, and Alpha Centauri was the worst Sid Meier game, not that it was bad though.

If you define "bad" as "satisfyingly difficult", then very well.

Otherwise, you're on your way to earning millions of YellowApple Anti-Points™.

I'm quite aware of those ways, so yes, that's an option. I generally only pursue those ways for generations of a game prior to the current, or if I really hate the publisher and would prefer to not actually give them my money.

I would do it for the first Vicky, it's hard to find in stores and it takes a long time to ship to California on Amazon.

Patience of a COD player? So no patience at all then, because last I checked HOI required alot of patience.
