The Union of Socialist Nations

The Union of Socialist Nations, established in 2012, is an international organization that was formed to better the relationships, friendships, alliances, and partnerships between likeminded socialist nations.

The Union of Socialist Nations meets once a month at the Union of Socialist Nations Center, in George City, Coolboygcp. Summits are held at this building bi-monthly, economic summits tri-monthly, and environmental summits twice a year. At the normal monthly meetings, nations will speak about things from security concerns, political uprisings, or just about improving trade between member nations. At the normal meetings, each nation will have their own representative, and each nation may vote on, or create new bills in the Union of Socialist Nations. These bills would be voted in or out by the nations in the union. If there is an additional vote in favor of passing the bill in question, that bill will be passed. The same situation would occur in the opposite way if there is an additional vote favoring the bill not be passed. If there is a tie, then the bill will be passed. Additionally, bills can be repealed, and they can be passed once more after they have been repealed.

If a member nation is invaded, they may call an emergency meeting about the matter. If necessary, or requested, member nations may call upon the assistance of fellow member nations to assist them in war.

Summits

Normal summits are held every two months, and are about a wide array of subjects. The normal summits are great for new members to introduce themselves, and better relations with other nations.

Economic summits are held every three months, and encourage the economic growth between, and of member nations. Additionally, economic summit are a perfect opportunity for your nation and other's to establish large trade deals, and trade your nation's resources, with other nation's resources. Also at the economic summits, your nation's companies may attend and release and unveil new products, and market these products to other nations. The economic summits are not only economic summits, but international trade shows as well.

Environmental summits are held twice each year, and they concern efforts to protect the environment, ecosystems, endangered species, and other natural features. These summits also can help the Union of Socialist Nations pass environmental regulations, standard, and/or protocols.

Rules of the Union

Article 1~ All nations in the Union of Socialist Nations must have either a democratic socialist, socialist, socialist communist, communist, marxist, or similar ideology.

Article 2~ All nations in the Union of Socialist Nations must grant their citizens the right to vote elected officials into office, one way, or another.

Article 3~ All nations in the Union of Socialist Nations must grant their citizens the right to free speech.

Article 4~ All nations in the Union of Socialist Nations may not have slavery, or extreme indentured servants.

Article 5~ All nations in the Union of Socialist Nations may not discriminate against heir citizens because of their race or gender.

Article 6~ All nations in the Union of Socialist Nations may not perform mass genocide of their own citizens,

Article 7~ All nations in the Union of Socialist Nations must have a socialist, communist, democratic socialist economy; or similar.

Article 8~ All nations in the Union of Socialist Nations must be prepared to provide some form of assistance to other members of the union, if other members request it after a war, natural or manmade disaster, or similar.

Official Communique from The Union of Socialist Nations

The Union of Socialist Nations is proud to announce that the inaugural session of the Union of Socialist Nations shall be held at the Union of Socialist Nations Headquarters, in George City, Coolboygcp on 19 November 2012. The inaugural session of the Union of Socialist Nations will require the attendance of representatives from all member nations of the organization.

Any nation can propose a new bill to be passed, economic, political, and other treaties, military pacts, peace pacts, and more. Disasters, wars, or other events that have happened to a member nation can be discussed, among other things. It will also be possible for your nation's representative to propose a candidate for Union of Socialist Nations Secretary-General, and voting for the position shall be held in the second session of Union of Socialist Nations on 26 November 2012.

The session shall begin at 8:00 AM GCST(George City Standard Time), and shall last until 6:30 PM GSCT. Two recesses shall be held, the first at 12:00 PM GCST, and the second at 4:00 PM GCST. Transportation to and from the Union of Socialist Nations Headquarters can be arranged, and all representatives are able to board on floors 15-20 of the Union of Socialist Nations Headquarters.

The fact that both devotion to democracy and socialism has already been ignored by this union with the acceptance of authoritarian capitalist states leaves the people of Threlizdun no other option but to officially condemn this organization as an enemy of freedom and the people.
