The One with the tree tried to grab onto Viola, but caught air when Viola flew up. The one dress as a elf managed to throw a net on her. The with a bag threw it over Amara. The Three laughed until they Viola giving them a feral smile under the net and the Bag Amara was under was starting to change color and burn.

The net and the bag began to burn, their whole bodies were engulfed in flames, Viola jumped into the air and let out a large roar that was anything but human. Her mind has no control over the body anymore so she could only watch in horror when a large fireball hit the attackers...

Normally, being laughed at would cause any regular human to become riled up or to look down in shame that their idea was not probable or even worth considering. However, Francis sat there and waited until all in attendance had their laugh. It hurt him somewhat to see Vera, Amirra, and Nissa laugh a bit also, but he was understandable that the three of them still needed to portray a sense of belonging. Anala just sat there calm and smiled through it as she didn't want to offend anyone either. Once the laughing was done, Francis again stood up and began to speak again. "Well, seeing that the majority of you have had a nice and immature laugh at my expense, it is time to return a favor. You all laugh at the notion, but without this family being united, there will be no more DeVir family or any Drow left for that manner. If we fail to stop Maximilian, he will wipe this Empire off the face of the earth; that is a proven fact. No more DeVir Kingdom, no more power. Maybe this was an wasted effort, but at least I'll be able to say if we fail that my inferior race will outlive your's." As Francis took a moment to resume his seat, he smiled and laughed as he retorted to the prince's comment. "Well Prince Alton, I might be a fool but at least I know my race will be here for many years to come if this war turns bad for us. Funny thing about humans, for every one child you have as an elf we'll have 100 or more. I've been stabbed, burned, shot at, and have almost died on multiple occasions to fear death at this point. So trying to intimidate me won't work as I have faced greater horrors then any of you will ever face. Now....back to the topic at hand. What that display just showed me was how unstable and hateful this family is to one another. This type of behavior and infighting lead to dynasties falling to one another and this type of hatefulness is what leads to people losing wars. So, my question to all of you is how do we fix this?"

But, the real point is we need to stand together and forget the past. I really could give a rats ass if you hate me or not, but I don't wish to see my adopted family perish and see the people I love die because you all failed to but the past behind. If you all really cared about your power and your family, you would put the past aside. But I guess I am preaching to a wall, seeing you all only care for your selfish selves." As Francis finished, he took his seat as he waited for another response from the crowd.............

I think and know that trying to bring up the past here in-front of everyone would end with bloodshed or other issues that don't need to be brought up in front of the entire family. That would be my recommendation to you. However we do it, we need to end this bad blood in between one another. Otherwise, infighting and the throne will become the least of your problems, father." As Francis finished, he resumed his seat one last time. As he waited for a response, Francis held onto Vera's and Anala's hands with his own as he waited for a response.............
