What's that?

It's almost like a Eurovision Song Contest, except in Asia/Africa

I watched it too (Because Australia was competing) and I have to admit I was very disappointed with it.

I've waited so long for this show and it turns out it was never competitive. Therefore my dreams of seeing my country take home a victory at a contest similar to Eurovision and the opportunity of televoting were smashed. I think that the show needs a competitive nature like Eurovision for it to ever succeed.

Otherwise I thought the show went well but I think the fact that there was no winner will work against it. Plus the songs seem a little outdated.

Though the TV Song Festival wasn't a competition, the ABU Radio Song Festival was. Australia won gold but the show was never broadcasted.

Both mine and your statements are correct. The award given to Australia was "gold", though the biggest prize went to South Korea. My personal favourite was Australia too. I just hope in the future they can merge together to become 1 Asiavision song contest.

Regarding the ABU TV Song Festival, my least favourite was Afghanistan. Sorry, but no. And yes, I respect their choice to send an ethnic song, but ethnic music can be better than that.

VIXX formally withdraw their entry to the 24th Worldvision Song Contest due to conflicts between the national broadcaster, Tanu, Shivali and the production team.

(OOC: I barely have any free time now, and the performance was supposed to be elegant and huge, like a Bollywood dance scene. But I won't have time for that.)

I say Georgia, Israel or Azerbaijan can win. As much as I love Lerika, especially Sensatsiya, this could be the Rachel of 2012, an upset in the end. But who knows?

Rachel wasn't really a favourite for the victory, as far as I remember (: And Rachel was Dutch, not Russian, and it's pretty easy to win things in Europe when you're Russian, that's been proven.

Scary?! I don't think so. By the way, I'm really upset that Marine Abrahamyan hadn't won Armenian preselection - Compass isn't that good :(

Can't say I follow JESC, but I've looked over them all, and I do like Russia and Ukraine.

But Georgia... like wut?

The thing I posted wasn't my top, it was my prediction (: In my top Ukraine would end up dead last; that's such a horrible song! No melody, indeed, you will never remember it, it's hilarious and ridiculous at the same time to see a girl singing that song.

I love Ukraine's, and The Netherland's entries...

Russia's a bit overrated for me, and Israel and... meh

Edit: Sweden's entry was really nice too
