"I think a trade agreement would be a good place to start" Matthew suggested

“We’ll get to it eventually.” Ozgol nodded affirmatively.

“I see.” Aigiarn hums. “My country depends on networks of portals – given that Minroz is a massive dominion. That said is to bring all dimensional worlds under our control and close-knitted. Few outsiders say it’s tyrannical…but it helps make life easier for our subjects living in our dimensional territories and help prevent local vendettas by our military force. How long is Floor Kippers planning to became an Empire like ours?”

"Public portals and all that are run under the jurisdiction by the Ministries of Transport and Public Works." she added further.

"Oh, we plan to reach out and become an empire when space Tech has advanced enough for us to do so" Nigel replied "We were an empire, many years ago, but that was only in this planet and those days are gone"

“Why you’re no longer an Empire?” Ozgol asks curiously.

“I’d assume the main cause is financial, I presume.” Hu adds.

"Well Eventually, after the second world war, it became increasingly clear that the Colonies wanted to run themselves" Nigel said "And in a few Places it got a little heated, there were deaths. Plus, as you said, Empires are expensive, and the war had depleted our money to the point that the only fiscally sound thing for the Country to do was to let the Colonies go in order to stableise our finances"

[Minroz]

“I see…I share that sentiment. Empires are expensive indeed.” Ozgol remark. “As for us, we’re too proud to let go of our territories regardless. Thanks to our pride as descendents of tribal warriors who conquered the old world in our heydays. Doesn’t really help we occasionally suppress rebellions if the Imperial government deem it necessary.”

“Well, we worry little about our finances, because we have a very robust financial sector to compensate for it. Not only that, the Motherland is blessed with vast wealth of natural resources to keep the money flowing. Our economy is the number one in our world.” Aigiarn stated.

“Although two-hundred years ago, we let go few of our colonies due to pragmatic reasons. My father wanted to focus on modernising the nation, rather than running our far fletch colonies.” She further adds.

Outside the front of the station, a carwas waiting for them.

Sir Nigel Opened the door to let the Minrozians in first.

"We still do technically have a Mini-Empire, what with our new land in the TCAA and the crown dependancies and overseas territories" Matthew said

“Thank you.” Aigiarn said gratefully to Nigel while her fellow Minrozians just nodded thanks, as they were let in the car.

“Mini-empire eh!” she says in curiosity “Do these territories answer to the government of Floor Kippers by any chance? If so, how do they run themselves?”

“Most empires I know tends to be centralised a lot” Ozgol adds his remark.

"Some do answer to us, some have their own government but answer to the Monarchy" Nigel said

[Minroz]

“Sounds just like us.” Aigiarn commented. “Not much difference. We do take lesser nations under our wing as allies or protectorates, rather than force them to join us.”

“Back in the old days, we prefer trading, rather than conquest. Though we occasional conquer nations with raw brute force depending on reigning Emperors.”

“It’s true. But we all know wars are very expensive.” Ozgol adds. “There is an very old Minrozian saying ‘Those who relish in war do not last long. What did you think of it?”

"I think that's very true" Matthew said
"Indeed, I have seen that many times" Nigel said

[Minroz]

“Without a doubt, no nations can benefit from protracted wars.” Aigiarn said. “One of the main reasons we favoured trade agreements over conquests. People say Trade is a greatest peacemaker, no?”

“Well, this stance does not sit well with nationalists who favour conquests, to satisfy their delusional fantasies.” Hu huff.

“By the way…” Aigiarn looks out to the window, seeing the cars of the same model where they’re riding in. “Isn’t this car a taxi? I have no problem with it, I’m just curious why we using this car?”

"Nope, this is an Official Royal Car, Our Taxis look Much different" Matthew said

[Minroz]

“Oh…I see. Well, there’s a country I visited called Britain, they do have these cars we’re riding in as taxis. They’re quite common in London. So, that’s why I’ve come up with that conclusion, seeing a strong similarities between Britain and Floor Kippers.” Aigiarn explains.

“Well, it could be an alternative universe.” Hu said.

“I think so,” Aigiarn agrees. “Who knows how big the universe is? I bet it’s quite massive than we ever imagined.”

"I've heard of Britain" Nigel said "I assume we are a paralell Universe version of that nation as we occupy it's space on the globe. As for the Multiverse, it's an infinite Collection of infinite spaces in an infinite space. And yet you can still travel to the edge of it"

[Minroz]

“Hmm,” Aigiarn hums quietly. “If that’s case, I assume there’ll be parallel version of Minroz. One nation I can think of fits my Motherland criteria is China. We do share a very similar culture.”

“About the multiverse. So in other words, it’s quite infinite whenever we travel.” She deducted.

“Has your nation have ever encountered any particular problem related to Multiverse such as hostile natives and cosmic abominations?” Hu asks.

"Whenever and whereever you go the Multiverse will always strech infront of you" Nigel said "We have a China here too, it recently joined with Imperial Japan through A marriage of the Imperial leaders"

"We are currently experienceing a hostile phase with a hostile Multiversal Group, however exact details are still Hush-hush" Matthew said "And we have experienced such things before"

“Certainly,” Aigiarn agrees. “Although our regards to the multiverse is about expansionism…at least in the old days. Certain nations in other dimensions are usually quite surprised on how advanced our technology is. Unfortunately, some of them want to steal our tech for their ends – nasty ones.”

"Well that's exactly the what Ministry of Multiversal Interaction was set up to do. To protect the fabric of reality and prevent further damage by unsavoury persons" Nigel said

[Minroz]

“Interesting? The Guoanbu – Minroz’s National Security Agency has a directorate dedicated to that task.” Aigiarn said. “However, they’re not really forgiving towards trespassers, if you’re lucky…you’ll be sent to jail in the middle of nowhere.”

“Well, have we talked about the nature of Guoanbu? Back in Casino Land.” She inquires.

“Obviously, my country’s sentient rights record isn’t always clean. We were a heavy-handed dictatorship 200 years ago.” Ozgol adds

"I know where you're coming from, The Floor Kippers hasn't always been the nicest of nations when it comes to other contries" Nigel said

[Minroz]

“Heh. Perhaps, we sentient beings can be cruel to each other sometimes.” Aigiarn remark, giving a wry smile, “Regardless of whom we are, its choices and actions determined our destiny. We all done things which we’ve regretted terribly.”

"I feel that All that matters is that you understand what you did was wrong and make sure you don't do it again" Nigel said, He then smiled wryly "Of course, some actions don't give you that choice."

[Minroz]

Aigiarn chuckles lightly. “Yeah, that is true. My father would say the same thing, all testified by our longevity. Still, I agree with you nonetheless Nigel.”

“Hmph, unfortunately there’re people who refused to acknowledge their mistakes. Ones who prefer to sweep their wrong-doings under the carpet rather than solve it.” Ozgol said cynically.
