“As a man who lives over hundred years, I’d realise things will come to you, no matter what. Be it good…or bad.” Ozgol stated to Matthew

"No Worries, I know Trouble will always come around if you wait" Nigel said "If Indeed somehow someone gets into Beeching House we can still escape Via The NUMB"

“Heh, I agree. Unfortunately, there are certain individuals who refused to see that way.” Ozgol remark

“Hm,” Aigiarn hums, sipping her vodka. “If so, who’ll wants to come after us then? For me, it will be spies from Omaskan or Xoraine or some other party whore interested of our meetings.”

“I’m curious what’s the NUMB? I presume some sort of a teleporter.” Hu asks

"For Us, it's a few Powerful Lunatics, but that situation is well under control." Sir Nigel said "They've tried an attack On Beeching House before and they failed. The NUMB is the Nuke-time Underground Ministry Bunkers, a network of bunkers an tunnels that spread underneath Bel-Gium left over from the cold war. They connect many of the Ministry Buildings together as well as the Bel-Gium Underground Railway and the Silurian Nests"

“Wow, that’s quite overly prepared.” Aigiarn whistled “Although, we have our own networks of underground bunkers and tunnels like the NUMB, except connecting every parts of the country, preparing for the possible nuclear apocalypse. Also we have our underground factories churning good-quality products for the motherland. I’d guess we’re not quite so different.”

“Hmm, Your Excellency (Nigel), is there certain unsavoury groups we should watch out for?” Hu asks

"Not internally" Nigel said "Like all nations we have our own home grown nutters, but since the Anti-NonHuman Party Shut itself down they're few and far between."

“Mentioning of home-grown nutters, we have crazy terrorists running amok who are wanted by the government, preferably dead. I’ll tell you the top three on our list. The Truthmakers – once the Imperial Military Intelligence Unit, now an elusive organisation of religious zealots hell-bent on universal domination, they view my father’s reign as corrupted and decadent ruled by the usurper. The Truthmakers are consisted of loyalists of my father’s predecessor – Oyyuk, the most notorious tyrant who led the motherland to ruins.

Next is the Rauhuks, the former Special Forces unit. Like the Truthmakers, they’re very slippery bunch of crazy nationalists, only armed with state-of-the-art equipments led by the mysterious leader named the Elusive Boy. They believe Minroz deserved to the rule the world and thinks our stance is too soft for the Motherland’s good.” Aigiarn explains before sipping her vodka.

“Finally, the United Liberation Army, a transnational fundamentalist group of militants who will fight anyone deemed oppressive or evil in their eyes. Its memberships included terrorists, freedom fighters and political idealists. Somehow they’ve amassed their own army that is capable of challenging world militaries, mainly through black-market or racketeering or sponsorship by hostile states. Their resources came from financial injection from a number of shadowy, wealthy backers, and gained much of its funding from raiding resources, from Foreign aid supplies meant for the downtrodden.”

She continues “Like I’ve mentioned before, they’re very elusive group but they’re not a unified organisation. Each of their factions and cliques has their interests and beliefs, ranging from communist revolutionaries to religious fundamentalists. There’s a reason we had difficulty negotiating with them due to their decentralised nature. I’m not surprised they’ll expand their networks to the world to liberate the universe from tyranny. It will be a matter of time before we finally face them.”

"Huh, There's no pleasing some people" Nigel said "In all my travels I have been through much to learn that. You have no Idea how many worlds I have saved with slight damage to them in the process only to have my selfless acts thrown in my face. I have learn that even in a position of power that will more often than not happen. I therefore wish you luck in your struggles against the rogue elements of your homelands."

“Hmm,” Aigiarn ponders about Nigel’s reply. “I can understand what it likes…people who never appreciate our help, no matter how much they needed. I admit I did get angry when they throw my aid at my face like spoilt children. I know you’re mad about it, we all are.”

“Crap happens.” Ozgol grunts in blunt tone, massaging his head. “The universe is a crazy place that anyone will question whether it’s worth living in.”

“Language Ozgol!” Aigiarn scolds, much to her little brother dismay.

“I’m sorry.” He said defensively.

“Thank you, little brother.” Turning to Nigel, she smiles. “And thank you, we really needed it.”

"Some people need to learn that the work of the government isn't to please the individual, our job is to please the people" Nigel said as the scenery outside began to grow more and more Urban.

“True,” Aigiarn nodding her head in agreements. “My father believes the same thing.”

“Hmph, it doesn’t help with all those stupid anarchists running amok, breaking laws at every turns, justifying themselves that every forms of government are tyrannical. Believe me; I’ve seen a lot to know.” Ozgol grunts in dismay, recalling the memories about it.

“Nigel, I’m sure you’ve dealt with anarchists before, especially gangsters.” She asks, sipping her drink. “Your Majesty (Matthew), what did you do when you faced anarchists who wants to bring down the royal government, and you know you can’t reason with them.”

"Well So Far the Last Anti-Royalist group was disbanded 300 years ago" Matthew said "So I'm lucky. There are some small groups who grumble about the fact that The Royal Family holds a little Executive Power over the government. But as these are merely safeguards to protect the People and the Royal Family no-one really listens to them"

“If that’s what you said,” Ozgol said “If it’s up to us, we’ll crush them without mercy. The Imperial government does not really tolerate subversive groups who may pose the threat to national stability. Then again, our culture values order above all else, except in dire circumstances.”

“Certainly,” Aigiarn pipes “my father the Emperor rules the nation with near-limitless powers; in short his authority is quite absolute and unquestioned. His powers are only limited by our ancient religious creed in order to prevent him abusing his position. In theory, the Emperor answers to no one but the heavens. Knowing my dad, he’ll not be a tyrant ever since my bastard grandfather Oyyuk.”

“By the way, how big is Bel-Gium?” Aigiarn asks, changing subject.

"About 2500 Squared Kilometres in total, with a Population of Eleven Million, ten Above Ground and One Million Silurians in the nests below the City" Sir Nigel Replied "It's one of the Largest Cities in Europe"

“That big! Wow,” Aigiarn whistles. “Well, Zhongyang our capital city is sprawling settlement of 200 million people; it’s more like a mega-city. Imagine the size of ten large islands put altogether. More than 95 millions lived underground, due to limited space and ambitious housing projects. Can’t you believe it!”

“However, I wonder why your capital city is called Bel-Gium, surely it’s not named after the kingdom of Belgium itself.” She jests at the last part.

"It Comes from the Old Language," Sir Nigel replied "Bel Being the old word for flowing water, and Gium meaning Town Built in a Meander of a river"

[Minroz]

“Quite appropriate for the location here.” Aigiarn remark. “So how old is this city?”

“Well, I think the name is nice, I’ve seen communist nations who labelled cities after revolutionaries and politicians a lot.” Ozgol adds “At least, it’s no cliche.”

"Well Naming a City after yourself is terribly egotistical" Nigel said "The City of Bel-Gium is 2027 years old. It was the first settlement founded by the settlers from the Bearing mountains."

[Minroz]

“Zhongyang, our capital city is over 5,000 years old, originally a small settlement on the hill, founded by nomads. Zhongyang was a capital of several dynasties and Empires who came before us.” Aigiarn said. “The fact is Zhongyang means in English is Centre or Central government, honestly I find it quite fitting for our nation. Although the city is used to be named Volvoshyan, named after the First Emperor who is the son of our founder.”

“Recently, we have to be decentralised because the Empire is too big for the government to control. Thus we switched to Federal-style system to help run the Empire.” Hu explains.

“Considering Minroz is a huge pot of cultures and species, we think it’s a sensible thing to do.” Ozgol adds

Nigel Nodded in agreement

"Sounds sensble" He said as the train pulled into The Huge spanning arched roof of St Lethbridge Station.


"This is where we leave the train and transfer to car" Nigel announced

“Sounds good, but what are we waiting for! Let’s get off the train!” Aigiarn beams cheerfully as she stood up. Her companions follow suit as the group got off the train.

“Hmm, nice station anyway, especially the astounding designs.” She commented on St. Lethbridge Station. “Good Heavens, is every Floor Kipper train stations built like this?” she asks.

“By the Ten, big sister!” Ozgol exclaims in exasperation. “We’re not here as tourists! We’re on diplomatic missions.”

“Little brother, it doesn’t hurt to do some sight-seeing.” Aigiarn quips.

“That’s what you’ve been telling everyone whenever we visit foreign lands.” Ozgol chides.

“[God, maybe I should find another job, I don’t have to stick with the hyperactive princess.]” Hu mutters to himself in Chinese.

"Only the big cities have stations like this" Nigel said as they Alighted the train. "A Nice mix of Gothic Architecture with some classy modifications. And if you like this just wait till you see the rest of the city."

[Minroz]

“I’m looking forward to it then.” Aigiarn quip in response. “By the way, do public stations like this one have portals for people to use, whether by magic or science?”

“When do we get to the car?” Ozgol asks in blunt tone, trying to hide his apprehension for his sister.

"No, Most Public Use Portals are limited to The Bel-Gium International Areo-Space Port" Nigel said "That's only for travle beyond this Universe, We have no Portal system for internal travel."

"There is one or two of the Royal Cars waiting for us in the forecourt" Matthrew replied

“Why not? It makes life easier. It works for us; it’s quite widespread in my country.” Aigiarn remark, raising one of her eyebrows, feeling perplexed by the answer.

“I see.” Ozgol nodded. “Anyway, when we get to the Beeching house, what topic or proposition we should start with?”
