I myself was thinking about leading Desert ICE because my country is mostly desert and I actually have a small anti-terrorist operation going in the Phonencian Desert's rural areas. Peacekeepers and ICE Troopers could get some on the job training there lol.

Right-o. We'll probably be personally devoting some 100,000 soldiers and a couple divisions of chem totally-not-illegal-under-international-law artillery to the ICE army. As far as the desert training goes, we'll be able to support quite a few people fairly well (yay warehouse-based farming!) and get them working, battling crazy-ass creatures (read: Land-Krakens) and so on. Fun in the sun and all that.

ICE does not prohibit the use of chemical weapons but does require the use of inhalant agents only when allied infantry are on the ground (so their gas masks are actually useful)

Glaswegistan will be able to contribute refueling aircraft for use in any developing conflicts, as well as naval, air and space bases if they are required. Additionally, we will be able to contribute satellite imaging and bombardment, and any ICE forces deployed that require bombardment support can depend on Glaswegistani Space Navy forces to deliver.

We are preparing to contribute more substantial forces to a conflict against Trotskytopia, but it is unclear how many ground forces we will be able to contribute at this time. Aircraft contributions should be more substantial however.

In addition; we are willing to allow New Cupar and Oban 2 (Mock cities emulating Fort Wallace and Oban, respectively) to be booked for Urban combat drills and exercises by ICE members. The two towns are regularly used by the army and navy (New Cupar being the armys' training site of preference, and Oban-2 being the Navys' training ground for port assaults) with practice weapons (although explosions are only simulated; as we prefer the sites to be in useable condition after each training period). Any nation wishing to use either site will be able to book a day for the usage of New Cupar or Oban-2, with some Party oversight pending on the exercise, as per party policy.

It should be noted that both cities are simulations of Glaswegistani urban environments, and although these may be useful in industrial cities throughout the world; they may not account for all types of urban environment that the armed forces may face in modern conflicts.

Glaswegistan's air power will be needed and is greatly appreciated.
Due to the lack of advanced urban training areas Glaswegistan is also being placed in command of Urban ICE Training Command. All ICE member states needing to train troops in Urban environments should contact Glaswegistan.

To all fellow members of ICE,

First of all, the United Republic wishes to express its gratitude regarding the acceptance of the UR into the International Coalition of Expansion.

In addition, the United Republic understands the recent concern regarding the People's Republic of Trotskytopia and the mass executions and political oppression in the nation. As such, the UR is preparing a force to be mobilized and deployed to the region to support the ICE operation should one be required. The order of battle of the force is attached below, and more may be deployed if a prolonged conflict is inevitable.

Furthermore, the UR would like to express its interest in leading Sea ICE Training Command. Being a nation completely surrounded by water, the UR contains the required elements to facilitate a large-scale training network focusing on VBSS and amphibious operations. The largest facility for such is Joint Base Archie Gray, the current location of the ongoing Archie Gray Joint Military Exercises with New Hayesalia and Anemos Major. Due to the ongoing JMEs, the base is currently closed for separate training, although once the exercises are completed the facility is perfect for large-scale amphibious exercises.

In addition, we are able to support desert warfare training in the Moloch Desert, mountain warfare training in the Ivory Mountains, and arctic warfare training in the Cambridge Mountains should such support be required.
