Mektavian Military forces prepare for civil war.

The decision regarding engaging the rebellious EMPA in open war was announced today by Mektavian Military commander Archer Lynzette, who just announced one of the soldiers lost today in the convoy ambush was his son in law, Terrance silvetter, squad commander of the 3rd escort unit. The 5th reaper squad is currently the only squad which is openly being prepared to deploy to east Mektavia, however, rumor is that Air force fighter and bomber squadrons, naval battlegroups, Armored columns and additional infantry units are being prepared to deploy and take the fight to the enemy. General Archer had this to say in a board meeting that ended moments ago.
Archer: It took me a personal loss to realize that i'm not alone, and I see how much it hurts to lose a family member to these rebels. I am not making this decision to avenge him, I hold a very personal grudge, but I am doing this now to avenge all the men and women who have died at the hands on these rebels. These people are no longer our compatriots, out country men, our brothers and sisters. They must be defeated to ensure a future for Mektavia, for a country that does not stand together shall never prosper.

In connecting news, the reason for the rebellious nature is believed to be a Faulty Server, transmitting undecipherable orders to the people, causing them to go mad. A civilian server shut down is expected within the next day or two, in an effort to determined which server it is that is causing the people to go haywire.

Should you try to make a peace conference before taking action. Maybe, giving into some of their demands, and making them give into some of your demands. You're near civil war, and the Irentian government has been in a lot of civil wars, both foreign and local to Irentian soil. I believe it would be best if you tried a peace conference.

Secretary of State Lana Basara was not surprised as intelligence officials presented to her and the rest of Virana's leaders a briefing regarding the recent declaration of war on the rebels by Mektavia.

The intelligence official (codenamed "MAT"), one of the men who worked as part of the Joint Intelligence Committee, neared the completion of his presentation. "The government of the Mechanical Hivemind of Mektavia is prepared to go on this war, and there's nothing we can do to stop it. If the civil war here topples the Mektavian government, the new leadership would likely aim for revenge against the United Republic for supporting the current regime."

"So is our only option to send further military support to Mektavia?" inquired a tan-skinned man sitting next to Lana. The man had matte-black hair that was beginning to gray; the wrinkles around his mouth and on his face served to reverberate the strictly serious tone in the still atmosphere of the dark briefing room.

"I am afraid so, Mr. President," replied MAT.

President Luis Castilla looked over to Lana, then towards the Secretary of Defense Aiden Lawson. Lawson smiled.

"Seems possible. I doubt we need to send in our entire defense force, but I am thinking special forces," said Lawson.

"They have to go for a peaceful option first," Lana broke in. "I'll arrange the communique."

Lawson agreed as he looked towards his Joint Security Committee, consisting of the highest military officers. The chairman of the committee, Fleet Admiral Jacob Cool, nodded as the dim light of Agent MAT's slideshow presentation gleamed on his face. "We'll see what we can do."

The United Republic has so far been appalled at the savage nature of the rebels that have harmed the people of the Mechanical Hivemind of Mektavia. Although we believe a peaceful, diplomatic solution is most desirable, we are aware that a civil war may be inevitable. In an attempt to provide stability to your nation, and display our full support of the current Mektavian government, we are requesting to deploy special forces into your nation. These forces specialize in unconventional warfare, including counter-insurgency (COIN) operations, and thus would be perfect to suppress various rebellions both lethally and non-lethally.

In addition, our special forces are also able to help train your forces for such operations. We simply ask that we be provided full access to operate in your nation, as we intend to cooperate with your forces to develop an effective military partnership.

Despite our willingness to support your forces in the event of a civil war, we do indeed request that peace talks and a cease fire be arranged between both your government and the East Mektavian Peoples' Army. Further conflict will result in severe damage to your nation's population, military, economy, and overall infrastructure.

Paint is pretty good, but you need to post it onto a website to view it. It makes it easier to divide land, remove land marks, and show battle fields, because you can edit the old paint one to show recent events and just reupdate it. Problem is, you need a website to post on it.
