Just saw the IC thread. Fromulya withdrew, so it should be excluded from the list.

I cannot comprehend why people hate Islam so much. Yes, some Muslims caused 9/11, but that doesn't mean all of them are terrible people. I have met many kind Islamic people. I think everyone just needs to accept other religions, because there is no proven "better" religion. That goes for Jewish people, too.

Honestly, can we just act a little human for once?

*ChenkorVision intro and images of ChenkorVision 5 and Outside at WV22 are shown*

Klaudijs Kollen: Good evening Chenkorya! Good evening! Welcome to the first semifinal of ChenkorVision 6! How are you feeling? Excited? Great! An amazing music fest will start right now! I think you've all been looking forward to this first semifinal! Tonight we will decide which 10 songs will go to the grand final, where the song that will represent Chenkorya at WV and WHF is decided. Of course that's not the same song, the runner up will go to the 'less important' World Hit Festival!

Edita Maruski: Spaxhibo Chenkorya! Goedenavond Chenkorië! I think 'little brother' is a much better word for it, Klaudijs! This year, 7980 songs were submitted to ChenkorVision, that's erm.. not a record, but that doesn't matter. Only 105 of them were allowed to perform in the provincial finals, which selected six songs for it's province. In each semi there are 3 songs from each province. The best ten of each semifinal will qualify, the number 11-14 will go to second chance round, where juries will decide two winners.

K: We will see 21 songs tonight!. When all songs are performed, the people from Chenkorya can start voting, and international juries from Phoenigetuzstha, Folkand, New United Equestria, Euskirribakondara and our colony Eyjù Richiveuminn will send us their votes. Then, one of us will announce all qualifiers... are you ready?

E: Of course! I'm first going to shout all names that participate tonight. Le Gros, Klessik Dadadam, Alisa, Runa Hillam, Ira Kalanchya, The Saweds, Marianna Monday's Orchestra, Eastern Rushmori Power, Diggidee Doo Kaboom, Ivan, HardLost, Mikail Ufontyin, Monika van Agteren, Burning Me, Vjekoslava & Ivana, Mark Messner, Julianna Ozeryuk, Karyna Deniaud, Yulian Lekpolskiy, Vinden & Henriëtte Steenwijk and Wander Stoyanov!

*camera goes to another side of the arena, to the catwalk, where another presenter is standing; Radu DiAntonio.*

Radu DiAntonio: And they're an indie rock band from Gruzinskiy. The genre-bending DIY post-punk rock trio Le Gros bring a new level of lyrical power and musical sophistication to their ever-evolving, always-electrifying sound and sensibility on 'Rock', the indie group’s first major label studio album, tonight. Here they are, with their song Protyrichchya!

*Le Gros performs*

E: Klessik Dadadam is next up. They once were in the NationStates X Factor as Klessik Dadadam, only having three members back then; Nataliya, Freia and Amilie. Then they changed their name to KD on their first album, since critics thought Klessik Dadadam didn't make sense. A while ago, two new friends were added to the group; Charley & Kim, both from Entvisfen. As Klessik Dadadam they came back to ChenkorVision, with A Thing Called Life, which ended in the top 10 in the end, after making it to the finals via second chance. Will they win this year? We'll know in some weeks. Here they are!

*Klessik Dadadam performs*

K: The third performance of tonight is something very interesting, and in my opinion, definitely catchy! Alisa will surely join the ranks of Isabyela Sebastinyuk and Jewelry, as part of the new emerging wave of proud, bold and adventurous female popartists. Alisa creates pop music with finesse, integrity and a fiery, hot- tempered feel of Central Europe. Her songs defy genres and contain subtle elements of classic pop, rock & roll, indie, balkan, jazz and r&b. They are energetic and highly physical, which is reflected live, when Alisa is backed by a tight quartet that plays with a teeth-grinding, feet-stomping bluesy rawness. Here is Sama Vazhkha Chastyna!

*Alisa performs*

R: Number four of tonight is an amazing returning artist, called Runa Hillam! Runa made her ChenkorVision début last year, when she sang her song.. erm, well, yeah, I don't know actually. But she's now returning with a similar song; catchy, funny, but mostly... CUTE! Here is Runa Hillam with Forget Me!

*Runa Hillam performs*

E: Ira Kalanchya, yes, what a beautiful name that is! Although she has never been on television and radio before, her music already really inspires me, and overall, I just think she is an inspiring woman. She is a real Chenkoryan Orthodox woman, but she makes believing trendy, by singing about it, or by telling about it in the press often, about what it means to her. Ira, she will sing Luster tonight! Good luck!

*Ira Kalanchya performs*

K: Next up is.. oh, sorry *are* The Saweds! Alena and Fatimyah Sawed have participated in a ChenkorVision final before, but this time they are telling us about their roots in Phoenigetuzstha; you can definitely hear foreign influences in this beautiful song! Will this song reach the CV final as well? Let's hear it, then!

*The Saweds perform*

R: Next up is Maryana Khuvyodkova, also called Marianna Monday. Monday comes from a large musical family and started singing and writing music from the age of 7. Her voice has been compared to Annie Lennox and Stevie Nicks. Monday signed a recording contract in 2008 and since then has been working on her debut album ‘Brother Breed’ with Chenkorya producer Hans Lemaire, who has previously worked with Oda. She partnered up with an orchestra, and now performs Khyolodni Ochryu!

*Marianna Monday's Orchestra performs*

E: Next up is... Eastern Rushmori Power! Their lead singer is called Anna Keukenhoff, and she's the singer of the band, but she also writes the lyrics of the songs. She started their kind of carreer when her father died while they were visiting Costa Fiero. She started writing songs as Eastern Rushmore, but when her friends said they'd join her, they became Eastern Rushmori Power. Tonight they sing.. DISKO DISKO!

*ERP performs*

K: Diggidee! Doo! Kaboom! That's their name. They participated in CV for the first time last edition, when they reached the final but didn't do that well in the end. This year they're back for more, with a quite different song, well, different then their previous CV song, but not than their last album that's currently in the shop! Anyway, here is Diggidee Doo Kaboom!

*Diggidee Doo Kaboom performs*

R: Ivan was originaly born to Chenkoryan speaking parents, but his adoption parents were one of the few Dutch speaking families in the Porti Province, which is the province of Chenkorya with the second most Dutch speakers. His song Wij Zijn Liefde is here to reach the final, here he is, with the amazing Beitris Eros as one of his background singers!

*Ivan performs*

E: HardLost participated in ChenkorVision 4, with an amazing song 'No', which was expected to be one of the two songs that would go to the song contests, but in the end.. they finished on a disappointing 9th place. This time they're FINALLY back with Spobryaki, an absolutely stunning song, which should really be 'one of the two' once again! Here is HardLost!

*HardLost performs*

K: Mikhail Ufontyin is one of the least famous singers in this edition of ChenkorVision. He has never released a single before. Well, he has, but they all never reached the charts, unfortunately. This time he sings a ballad that must be difficult to pronounce for people from abroad... BARYURYI ABU SKLCHYANYU!

*Mikhail Ufontyin performs*

R: Stunning! STUNNING! Let's go to the next song. Monika van Agteren, which is quite a funny name because her name could also mean 'Monika Anal' in Dutch, but anyway, she is here to perform a pop song with tropical influences, and she told me a secret... a secret, I can reveil; it may include more languages than just English if it is actually chosen for WV or WHF!

*Monika van Agteren performs*

E: Burning Me is another cool, very cool band name! The lead singer has tried before in CV, in the PFs actually, but never reached the semifinals... but now she has changed her band a bit, as well as the name, since the other one was Always Blame Dr. Phil, and she is ready to reach her first final! Here is Pushed Into Oblivion!

*Burning Me performs*

K: Vjekoslava and Ivana.. had anyone ever heard of them before this edition of ChenkorVision? I don't think so. They're two students from Binamissis, who both play guitar and piano, and who recorded a duet, together with a band. It has a nice jazzy edge, and I think it's great. Here is Sama Temni Ochryu!

*Vjekoslava and Ivana perform*

R: I think this ChenkorVision is the edition with the biggest number of unknown people performing.. Mark Messner is unknown as well. Well, he once did audition for the first season of NSXF, but he never reached the next round. Together with his neighbour they recorded this song, and honestly, they never thought they would make it this far! Mark, there you go!

*Mark Messner performs*

E: Ooooh... if up-tempo is boring you, then this is your time to watch. WAIT, don't go to the toilet! Because here is Julianna Ozeryuk. This amazingly talented singer is singing one of the most mystical, mysterious and dark songs of the evening, which has already been called 'best thing ever happened in ChenkorVision' by various critics. Do you agree? Let's see!

*Julianna Ozeryuk performs*

K: Impressing, that really was. But another interesting contestant is coming, coming from Hollandieux. It's Karyna Deniaud, the sister of a famous wrestler... and more different from a wrestler than Karyna is almost impossible to be. She sings passionate songs, about love, problems in life, like this one; Agorafobie.

*Karyna Deniaud performs*

R: Want something catchy now? Then Yulian Lekpolskiy, tv-host and singer, is the one to watch for you now! Yulian Lekpolskiy sings a special, typical Chenkoryan pop/electronic song, which may end up high in the scoreboard. Here's Yulian!

*Yulian Lekpolskiy performs*

E: Three Hollandieux entries in a row! The last one in this semifinal from Hollandieux are Vinden, a popular band in Hollandieux, and Henriëtte Steenwijk, a quite famous singer in Hollandieux. They sing a beautiful ballad in Dutch; Het Einde, which means The End.

*Vinden and Henriëtte Steenwijk perform*

K: And we're at the end! The last one performing tonight is Binamissis' singer Wander Stoyanov, singing folk/indie music. Although this kind of music is extremely popular in Chenkorya, it never does well in CV, thanks to the international juries. Will Wander Stoyanov and Problemy change that?

*Wander Stoyanov performs*

E: WOW! That was a great show! Well done! Well done, well done, well done! You will now have 15 more minutes to vote, Chenkoryans! Now, we are going to watch an amazing interval act. We count your votes, we come back after 15 minutes with the 10 qualifiers...

*Interval act*

K: Hello everybody, welcome back at ChenkorVision! The 21 songs of tonight are performed and also.. the televoting lines are closed! Only ten songs can make it to the final of ChenkorVision 6! Are you ready? Here they come. All people in Chenkorya could televote by phone. All televotes were translated into votes, in traditional WV voting style, each province has one vote. Then we have international juries from various countries... are you ready for the first qualifier... okay, here we go! The first qualifier of tonight is...

MELODIYA 1! PROTYRICHCHYA BY LE GROS!

*The lead singer of Le Gros walks up the stage, smiling and laughing, while wearing a dress that doesn't look very good to her body. On the background, Protyrichchya is played. On the stage, she gets a ticket with FINAL on it!

Congratulations Le Gros with a place in the amazing final! Let's go to the second qualifier for the final. The second qualifier from the first semifinal is...

MELODIYA 13 Monika van Agteren with Find Your Way Out! Love it!

*Monika van Agteren walks up the stage, recieving loud cheers from the crowd. On the background, Find Your Way Out is played. On the stage, she gets a ticket with FINAL on it!

Yeah, we have two songs in the final now! What will be the next melodiya in the final? What do you want, crowd? Let's open this envelope... this ticket to the final has the following song on it...

MELODIYA 18! Karyna Deniaud with Agorafobie!

*Karyna Deniaud walks up the stage in a long and beautiful dress, recieving loud cheers from the crowd. On the background, Agorafobie is played. On the stage, she gets a ticket with FINAL on it, plus her name!

Welcome to your second CV final Karyna! The fourth qualifier is...

MELODIYA 4! What a coincidence! Runa Hillam with her song Forget Me!

*Runa Hillam walks up the stage in a cute yellow dress, recieving loud cheers from the crowd. On the background, Forget Me is played. On the stage, she gets a ticket with FINAL on it, and her name!

And we're almost halfway... One more qualifier and we're at five qualifiers. The next qualifier is something quite different, I think. And... it is!

MELODIYA 17! YA NYI MOZHU ZABUTY by Julianna Ozeryuk!

*Julianna slowly walks to the stage, surrounded by her background dancers, that danced all around her during the performance she gave earlier that night. A very impressing performance, it was. Her song is played on the background, and she gets a ticket as well.

Welcome to your first CV final, Julianna! I hope it's your last one! Don't mean that wrong, that means that you'll win and don't need to return again! I did a prediction game backstage with the other hosts, and the only song we ALL thought that would qualify, was yours, Julianna. That was definitely a stunning performance tonight. Anyway, qualifier six is...

MELODIYA 16! Mark Messner with Range of Thoughts! CV final as your musical début! That's great!

*Range of Thoughts starts playing, and it's definitely the most euphoric song so far. Mark shouts and runs up the stage, where he gets a ticket, and lots of ladies' screams.

And you're the first man in the final, as well, I think! Will there be another man in this envelope?

Yes, there's a man in this envelope! MELODIYA 19! Vergeten by Julian Lekpolskiy! I heard you're going to host the Voice live shows as well!

*Vergeten starts playing. Yulian shouts and runs up the stage, where he gets a ticket with FINAL on it!

And number eight is...

MELODIYA 7! Khyolodni Ochryu, by Marianna Monday's Orchestra! Please don't take your whole orchestra with you on stage! I mean, you don't even fit in one green room...

*Marianna laughs very loud and walks up the stage with just one member of the orchestra! She is wearing heavy make up and a long beatiful dress, and when she walks up the stage and takes the ticket, she gets a huge cheer*

Okay.. just two qualifiers left.. Who will it be? Klessik Dadadam, Alisa, Ira Khalanchya, The Saweds, Eastern Rushmori Power? Diggidee Doo Kaboom, Ivan, HardLost, Mikhail Ufontyin? Burning Me, Vjekoslava & Ivana, Vinden and Henriëtte Steenwijk, or Wander Stoyanov? Qualifier 9 is...

Sama vazhka chastyna by Alisa! MELODIYA 3!

*Alisa laughs very loud and walks up the stage with the monsters that were on stage with her. She walks up the stage and takes the ticket, then she gets a huge cheer.*

Only one spot in the final is left.. And that spot is for...

LUSTER by Ira Khalanchya! MELODIYA 5!

*Ira walks up the stage and gets a ticket with final on it*

We've now got 10 finalists! Congratulations, congratulations! We will almost end this show, but first.. we will have to tell you who goes to second chance.. That are HardLost, Wander Stoyanov, Klessik Dadadam and Diggidee Doo Kaboom! Then, let's see you next week!

They will all be linked in the OP, along with postcards. I think I'm on a different time zone to everyone else though, so the entries all appeared during the night.

Oh. I buggered the OP up. This is what happens when you don't copy things into notepad first.

All fixed.

I consider this an OOC-enough thread to not clutter up the contest thread with this sort of thing :p

Anywho, there are 12 entries thus far, but three of them are '5'... The eleventh entry fixed the numbers, so 11 and 12 are right. I'll fix Eireann Fae, but Fae Omega will have to wait til the next time I switch...

The latter two '5's need to change their posts...

EDIT: The two posts are... Zavlia (needs to be 6) and The Betherlands (needs to be 7). Please and thank you :-)

Yeap.. But sometimes those who've already posted in the IC stop looking at the OOC... Hence, it was necessary to put it out there. Plus, I'll edit my second part of commentary there, so I see no problem.

I regretfully must inform all of you that I'm going to have to drop out of the competition. I just don't have time to create an all-original song with what's going on IRL. I've already been committed to other projects on NS, and coupled with a new school year starting, I just won't be able to keep up with this. Homework's going to get hairy soon, and I've got some real life things that I'm going to be involved with.

Also, for Chenk: No, this doesn't mean I'm dropping out of The Voice—I've still got time for that. I just can't be adding any more new compositions to my schedule.
