Costa Fieran Coverage on Canal Uno

Antonio: And we’re back. And who is up next, Diana?

Diana: Our next entry is from Sagatagan.

Sagatagan: Lobo

Antonio: Well, that was something different.

Diana: I didn’t know folk songs were allowed. Reminds me of the ones you find at cultural celebrations in the country. You know, those people with pipes and guitars you see sometimes?

Antonio: Sure do. Whilst I’m not a fan of their music or most folk songs, this does have that certain ring to it. But is it a winner?

Diana: Nope. I wouldn’t think so but who knows?

Antonio: Yeah, you never know with this crowd. Anyway, if you at home feel like it’s a winner, you can call the number on your screens or send us an SMS at 5304 or go online at http://www.tvn.co.cf/worldvision to vote. Remember, normal charges apply. So, who do we have next Diana?

Diana: It’s Deblinian Masovia with a song in Polish.

Deblinian Masovia: Modlitwa o Deszcz

Diana: A song mostly in Polish, how nice.

Antonio: Yeah, yeah, a song in a language most of us here don’t understand. I’m sure it’s nice but only if we non-Polish speakers could understand it. Seriously, some translations or at least some subtitles would be appreciated.

Diana: Well, what did you think about the lyrics that weren’t in Polish?

Antonio: They sound like the hymns I used to sing at church. And they were terrible as well. Honestly, offer the kids ice cream at church and maybe the kids would consider going back rather than standing there sweating to death….

Diana: And what about the song?

Antonio: I wouldn’t vote for it.

Diana: Right. Well if you at home want to vote for it, call the numbers on your screens or send us an SMS at 5305. Or visit us online. Remember, normal charges apply. Now, who do we have next?

Antonio: Ugh. It’s Mediterra with their song Drums of Love.

Mediterra: Drums of Love

Diana: Admit it Antonio. It isn’t a bad song. I might even vote for it, although Mehr is still my favourite.

Antonio: The only good bit about it was the stage act. That was impressive. But everything else was still below what I would call “standard”.

Diana: You’re standards are only whether or not she is hot or not. And I’m sure you’d consider her pretty now wouldn’t you?

Antonio: Yes. But that doesn’t matter. I hated the song, the singer and the lyrics. That’s it.

Diana: Well, if you aren’t of the same disposition as my colleague here, you can vote for this song by calling the number on the screen, visiting us online or send an SMS to 5306. Remember, normal charges apply.

Antonio: And next up is Redaya with Stone Hearted.

Redaya: Stone Hearted

Antonio: What the hell was that? It’s like I’ve been assaulted with horrible electronic music.

Diana: Agreed. The tone of the song was less serious than the lyrics, which were nice. A love song is always more tender or dramatic, not something that sounds like the music filler for a back street nightclub. That’s definitely a no vote from us. However, if you actually like this song, send us an SMS at 5307 or call the number on your screens. Or go online.

Antonio: We’re taking another quick break now but we’ll be back soon.

Fernando Villalba
Mi Amor (My love)

To the melody of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ff0OQtiLy_k

When Fernando walked on the stage, the lights and light effects changed within a sudden, in orange and red colours.
He was wearing very original clothes, they were grey coloured with some orange stripes. He was also wearing designer jeans.

Fernando smiled at the audience and started to sing on a happy Latin American Beat (Listen Song (: ):

When I see you in the evening
You are the one I need, right
    You are making me crazy
We’re gonna’ dance and make love
When you are in a bad mood
I’ll try to cheer you up
    Gente, tiran las caderas
    Vamos a bailar tonight!

Then the music stopped for a second, Fernando continued:

Eh eh eh ioh oh oh ie oh oh

    We’re gonna’ make love
    Like we did last time

Eh eh eh ioh oh oh ie oh oh

Then three dancers came and danced. (2 male dancers, 1 female dancer)

When we are in a bad mood
    Yo te quiero a vos
I’m ready to chear ya’ up
    Yo te quiero a vos
    Bailando y Brincando
    Yo te quiero a vos
    Todos los manos arriba
    Yo te quiero a vos
    No te voy a dejar
    Vos sos mi amor!

Suddenly the lights changed colours and became red, and Fernando yelled: Come 'n!
After saying this, the lights turned orange and red again, and Fernando continued:

    I’m ready for this now
    I’m ready to kiss now
    I’m loving you right now
    Move your hips tonight
    You will not regret this
    You won’t forget this
    This music is crazy
    Do it tonight, maybe?

When Fernando began singing this, the floor changes from a black (normal) colour to a moving light spectacle:

    Veni Bailar, Dale!
    Moviendo caderas, Dale!
    Brincando cervezas, Dale!
    Mi amor se, se sude!

    Veni Bailar, Dale!
    Moviendo caderas, Dale!
    Brincando cervezas, Dale!
    Mi amor se, se sude!

Then he continued with the following lyrics:

Eh eh eh ioh oh oh ie oh oh
    We’re gonna’ make love
    Like we did last time
Eh eh eh ioh oh oh ie oh oh

When we are in a bad mood
    Yo te quiero a vos
I’m ready to chear ya’ up
    Yo te quiero a vos
    Bailando y Brincando
    Yo te quiero a vos
    Todos los manos arriba
    Yo te quiero a vos
    No te voy a dejar
    Vos sos mi amor!

*Instrumental solo of the Calimeran Bandeon.

Then Fernando started singing the Refrain again:

    Veni Bailar, Dale!
    Moviendo caderas, Dale!
    Brincando cervezas, Dale!
    Mi amor se sude!

    Veni Bailar, Dale!
    Moviendo caderas, Dale!
    Brincando cervezas, Dale!
    Mi amor se sude!

After singing this, 2 more dancers come up on the stage, joining the others.

Eh eh eh ioh oh oh ie oh oh
    We’re gonna’ make love
    Like we did last time
Eh eh eh ioh oh oh ie oh oh
When we are in a bad mood
    Yo te quiero a vos
    (2x)

Fernando ended his performance with these lyrics:

I’m ready to chear ya’ up
    Yo te quiero a vos
    Bailando y Brincando
    Yo te quiero a vos
    Todos los manos arriba
    Yo te quiero a vos
    No te voy a dejar
    Vos sos mi amor!

Fernando yelled Thank you, blowed a kiss to the audience, and then he disappeared with all his dancers....

The Bernsters- Just Keep Going On

Green: Bernie
Blue: Jim and the others
Black: Together

singer, pianist: Bernie
singer, guitarist: Jim
singer, drummer: Mark
singer, bassist: Arnold

The stage is dark. The crowd is quiet. Suddenly, out of the darkness, comes a voice. A voice so soft, and gentle, you feel so relaxed. The voice was Bernie Anderson's voice, the 30 year old member of The Bernsters. He was singing quietly:

When I have no hope,
When I lost it all,
Should I just mope,
Or should I just fall?
What should I do?

Right after, the spotlight turned on. It's pointing at the lower stage. The screen is a dark blue, dark purple colour.
You could see Bernie playing the piano on the lower stage, while wearing jeans and a white t-shirt. He does a thirty second piano solo.
Suddenly, another spotlight is pointed at the upper stage. You could see the other members of the band, Jim, Arnold, and Mark, who is sitting by drums, just behind the other members. All of them are wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.
Then, you hear Jim, Mark, and Arnold singing a little louder:

When you have no hope,
When you lost it all,
You have to cope,
Don't fall,
Just keep going on,
Just keep going on,
It's only a matter of time before it's all gone,
Just keep going on,
Just keep going on,

Then, Jim jumps down to the lower stage and does a medium speed guitar solo for thirty seconds. Arnold jumps down after.
Next, the tempo becomes faster and volume louder.
Bernie plays the piano medium speed, while, Jim and the others sing:

You found the love of your life,
You really loved your wife,
One day she says, 'Goodbye',
And you know it's not a lie,
She has left you,

Then, Bernie plays a fast piano solo for ten seconds. The screen starts flashing crazily, then the following is sung:

It's true,
She has left you all alone,
Without her, you feel as cold as a stone,

Then, Bernie starts singing along. The volume becomes even louder.

Just keep going on,
Just keep going on,
It's only a matter of time before it's all gone,
Just keep going on,
Just keep going on,

Jim does a quick tempo guitar riff while that was sung, and continues to do so in the next verse.
The screen becomes a bright blue while the following is sung:

I should just keep going on,
and on,
and on,
When times are rough,
When I'm not feeling tough,
Just keep going on,

Then, the volume is quieter, tempo is slower.
Bernie does a short piano solo for ten seconds.
The lights in the upper stage turn off, and all the members of the band, except Bernie, walk into the darkness, dissapearing.
Bernie starts singing with his gentle voice, like in the beginning.

Just keep going on,
When you've lost it all,
Or else your will life stall,
Down it will go,
So,
That is one life rule I will never,
Forget...

His voice drifts off into the silence.
Suddenly, the audience goes wild. Cheers from every section of the building.
The members walk out from the darkness. They yell together: ''Thank you, Mediterra!''
Then, they walk off the stage.

Sarah: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to 8TR's coverage of WorldVision Song Contest 22!

Théo: Mesdames et messieurs, bienvenue à la couverture de 8TR de le Concours WorldVision de la Chanson 22!

Sarah: We would also welcome you in Sejuhan and Chinese, but you see we would probably ruin the beauty of both languages.

Théo: You would. Anyway, we're right here in Monterra in Mediterra and all I can say is this mediterranean weather is a nice break from Cirona's constant tropical humidity although I did wish it was winter here.

Sarah: Not like it matters - We're tucked away here in an underground theatre. I'm claustrophobic, for fuck's sake!

Théo: Yeah whatever, if you're claustrophobic you shouldn't be hosting shows in stadiums with kabillions of people. It's a nice piece of architecture anyway. Now we're getting sidetracked thanks to you.

Sarah: Bah, you're no fun. Why do I always have to host with you?

Théo: For all Cerons, to vote for your favourite country please logon to http://www.wsc.cx/22/vote or text 1800 WSC VTE (1800 972 883) your favourite country or contestant or song or whatever.

Sarah: Yes indeed listen to Théo our leader. Fun fact for all you Cerons, it will be Cirona's first performance in WSC since WSC18! Why, you may ask. Well, let's say, 8TR despises the managing board of WSC.

Théo: Oh my God shut up Sarah, your breath smells like vodka. We'll be back in five minutes with WSC 21 winner Chenkorya's Oda singing her prize-winning song Symphonia to open the evening.

Sarah: Whoopdeehoo! Another stuck up bitch on stage.

Costa Fieran Coverage on Canal Uno

Diana: Hello and welcome back to Canal Uno’s coverage of this year’s WorldVision Song Contest held in the lovely city of Monterra in Mediterra.

Antonio: And we’ve had a number of songs of varying genres and varying degrees of excellence so far, so who do you think or want to do well now Diana?

Diana: Well, I still really like Mehr by Ashgur Damantibal but Mediterra’s entry is slowly working its way in. It’s one of those songs you like without a very good reason to. What about you Antonio?

Antonio: I haven’t picked a favourite yet, although Lobo by La Vaganoj is still one of the better ones in my opinion.

Diana: Really? I didn’t think it was that good. Anyway, who is up next?

Antonio: It’s Folkland with Renaissance.

Folkland: Renaissance

Diana: Another folk song and another song in Polish. It’s certainly a popular language this year.

Antonio: Translations would also be appreciated. Although the English also seems a bit unusual. It’s more serious than the folksy songs suggests. I don’t think it works for me.

Diana: Neither. You’d expect something remotely cheerful from a folk band with an accordion in it. Anyway, if you want to vote for it, you can call the number on the screen or send us an SMS to 5308. Or visit us online at www.tvn.co.cf/worldvision. Remember, normal charges apply. Now, who do we have next?

Antonio: It’s Valcluse with the all-girl group D.I.V.A and their song “On My Own”.

Valcluse: On My Own

Antonio: Hot.

Diana: Is that all you can say?

Antonio: Fine. Really hot.

Diana: Well, I sort of liked liked it. They did scream quite a bit, which sort of made it a little worse than Mediterra’s entry or Mehr. The music thought definitely hit the right notes with me. The lyrics and the way it was sung however didn’t do anything for me.

Antonio: So that’s your third place song is it?

Diana: Pretty much. However, if you want to vote for it, call the number on your screens or send an SMS in to 5309 or visit us online. Normal charges apply.

Antonio: Next, we have Dragion with Toxic Funland.

Dragion: Toxic Funland

Diana: Interesting.

Antonio: I am a robot. Beep…..beep…..beep.

Diana: I didn’t like the song. The music was different but not in a nice way. And I didn’t like the singing to be honest.

Antonio: Beep…..beep…..beep………bzzzzzz.

Diana: (sarcastically) Oh dear, they’ve broken Antonio. Well, if you at home haven’t been broken or feel like you want to live in a toxic funland, call the number or your screens, send an SMS to 5310 or visit us online. And please remember, normal charges apply. So Antonio, hopefully you will be fixed quickly enough to tell us who we’ll see next?

Antonio: Unfortunately, I have been fixed. Fortunately, we have Kington Langley next with Getting There.

Kington Langley: Getting There

Diana: I liked it very much. The music was nice, the lyrics were wonderful and it was so well sung. Allania did very well. I’m definitely voting for that one.

Antonio: It wasn’t that bad actually. Certainly better than most of the entries we’ve had so far.

Diana: Agreed. Hopefully, this should get some points for us. Speaking of which, if you liked this song as much as I did, then you can call the number on your screens, send us an SMS at 5311 or go and vote online. Remember, normal charges apply. Do we have time for another entry?

Antonio: Yes, we do. And this one is from New United Equestria with Don’t Need You.

New United Equestria: Don’t Need You

Antonio: (sarcastically) Woo, another love song. What’s your verdict Diana?

Diana: Not as good as Kington Langley’s that’s for sure. But it isn’t bad.

Antonio: Would you vote for it?

Diana: Depends. But at the moment, no. However, if you at home want to vote for it, you know the drill. Call the number, or send an SMS to 5312 or visit us online.

Antonio: Right, we’re going to take a quick break again but we’ll be back after these messages.

21. Eternal Reminiscence
Rogue
Written by: Connor Lane, Erina Watson
Composed by: Erina Watson, Jacques Archembault

Melody: The Wind Blows, Lee So Ra
Rogue:
Colm Morrison,46(Electric Guitar, Leader)
John Lane,47(Percussion)
Jacques Archembault,39(Keyboard,piano)
Daley McPherson,37(Bass,acoustic guitar)
Erina Watson,22(Main Vocals)

The members of Rogue sat in their Green Room, checking whether their instruments are working flawlessly. this was Quebec's first-ever participation in WorldVision, which made members of 28-year old Montrealer-band, particularly anxious.
Connor Lane, especially, was nervous and tearful. He sat on his chairs, gripping himself in a heavy thought. Erina, sitting next to him, knew why. Because their entry, 'Eternal Reminiscence', is dedicated Catherine Torres, the girl that he loved.
Unfortunately, she killed herself when he was in Grade 9, because Connor's friends have bullied her to such extent that she felt that she isn't worthy of her love. That affected him significantly, even now,32 years after her death.

Oh, well. Same old Connor, said Erina to herself. Then, she quietly sang the verses, trying to think of Serge, his lover, who's waiting for her in the audience.
Meanwhile, Jacques looked into a photo of his family: his old parents, wife Lauren and his 3 kids. He dearly missed them. Normally, at this part of the year, he would be there for his kids, all of them in high school, to help them prepare their June Exam.
Daley,on the other hand, was talking with Jocelyn, his 15-year old daughter about her school life while Colm, did nothing but checking at his instrument. Colm seemed to be the only one who maintained his confidence among his band.
Suddenly, they heard as one of the hosts said, ''Ladies and Gentlemen, here's Royal Kingdom of Quebec's.... Rogue!!!''
They all stood up, looking into each other's eyes.
Colm blasted his powerful voice,''Rogue. This is our time! For Katie! For Rogue! For Quebec!'
'Ay, ay, ay!' everyone shouted, then opened the door.

When Erina walked into the stage(other members have entered the stage a minute before, in order to adjust their instruments),the stage lights quickly turned into blue.she walked to the centre of the lower stage, where a microphone was ready for her. She wore white, slightly long dress that emphasised her presence in mostly-dark stage.
She waved to the crowd, then closed her eyes.
Stage lights were turned off, then slowly went back into purple.

Jacques started the song with gentle, 5-second piano introduction. Erina opened her eyes and slowly sang the verses. Her voice was very calm and soft, which also carried her emotion to represent longing and missing someone, suited the song perfectly.
Jacques slowly accompanied along the verse, well balancing between his Piano and Erina's voice.

I tried to forget and move on,
Like nothing happened
But even as time pass and seasons change
my time was stuck as if you were still there
And never moved on

Then, just as it ended, Colm and Daley started playing. She sang in slightly faster and louder. More emotion were added.

My life’s still hollow, always missing you
You always had a special place inside my heart
It used to glow with flames
With Your smile is imprinted inside
But now it’s all gone, empty and burnt

The background music gradually went louder and so does her voice. Erina sang in Mezzo-Forte and with more emotion of nostalgia over her love and old feelings. As if she was trying to carry and feel the emotion in the song as,''I can't see you for rest of my life, yet I'll miss you forever, until we meet again'.

Chorus
Always, I will miss you
through countless days and nights
Waiting for you
Like a wind in the day
And a moon in the night
So that I could meet you again someday
Of you someone who always had a special place
Inside my heart

She returned to calmness, singing like how she sang before the chorus. The background changed to this.

your soft touch leaves a ghostly
trace on my skin;
I want to reach you and touch you
but you’re long gone
Yet I’m still, stuck at here

I’ve receded into my mind
for that's the only place I can find you,
I’m falling deeper into an eternal longing,
Stuck in the memory

The stage lights changed to lighter blue and some white, now focusing on the whole band.
Erina sang louder, in Forte. She carried on singing, as if she's about to burst full of her emotion.

Chorus

Jacques and Colm quickly played their solos at the same time for 30 seconds, and stage lights quickly diverted to them before moving back to Erina.
She sang the chorus one more time, but this time, with whole orchestra and Rogue.

Chorus

just as chorus ended, most accompaniments stopped and once again,Erina sang along to Jacques' Piano accompaniment, back to her calm voice:

I miss you

Just as the song was over, the lights slowly turned back into this again.
Erina shouted ''Thank you,Mediterra! Merci beaucoup Mediterra et les gens de Monterra!''.
Then, all members gathered and bowed to the crowd, who replied with loud applause and cheers, and walked off the stage.

QBC-The Official Quebecois Coverage of the 22nd WorldVision Song Contest

The broadcasters of the this WorldVision Contest was done by Diane Merton and Corneille Trois-Montagnes. Diane Merton was worked as music critic for 14 years, while Corneille Trois-Montagnes have worked as a producer and music critic for 7 years, producing 14 No.1 hits.

Diane: Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to QBC's coverage of the 22nd WorldVision Song Contest, coming to you live in Monterra, Mediterra!
Corneille: Diane. This is the first time, ever, that The Royal Kingdom of Quebec, have participated in the WorldVision Song Contest! So, audience, don't forget about Rogue!
Diane: And here's the opening act by Oda from Chenkorya.

Opening Act

Diane: And that was Symphonia by Oda.
Corneille: It still remains fresh to my ears,Diane. It's quite sensational, in my opinion.
Diane: I agree with you. It was perfectly fitting in both visual and musical aspects. Her voice fitted perfectly to accompaniment, dance was complicated but artistically eye-catching and entertaining. Overall,it's a great song.
Corneille: Even though I don't recommend this to young children.
Diane: Um... This is not States,Corn.
Corneille: Oh, sorry.
And if you found Symphonia pleasant to you visually or musically, send an SMS to us on 111....
Diane: Corneille! They won last year!
Corneille: Whoops! Sorry.
Diane: That's OK. So, who's the first entry of the night?
Corneille: Oh, well. I think it's from Lanos.
Diane: Well, let's see. Ladies and Gentlemen. Here's Lanos!

Lanos: Another Hole in the Ground: Part 2

Corneille: ........
Diane: Why?
Corneille: Je pense que ce chanson est bof(I think this song is so-so). I was fine on the beginning, with their artistical component on usage of helicopter and intros. However, they screwed it up on the actual lyrics and stage background on the actual song. I expected better than just a propagranda when it comes to staging and lyrics.
Diane: I think it was just, too much political. In my opinion, that was the major flaw with this.
Corneille:Well, definitely not getting my share of votes.
Diane: I agree with you. (Changes into happy face) If you liked this song, send a SMS to us 1101 or vote ''LANOS'' on http://www.qbc.que/WorldVision.
Corneille: And here's the Second Act of the night.... Phoenigetuzstha!

Phoenigetuzstha: Mehr

Diane: And here was Mehr by Ashgur Damantibal, from Phoenigetuzstha!
Corneille: This song is simply an addictive, entertaining party piece. Also, his dancing is difficult and requires lots of physical strength, co-ordination, flexibility and . Diane, I would give 100 Natalium for you to dance better than Ashgur.
Diane: No thanks. Anyway, this song starts to grow on me! In addition to his dancing, he also sang very well while dancing, so I would like to give a credit for that. The lyrics are little bit, emotional and sexual but it's fitting the song and genre perfectly.
Corneille: And If you 'Mehred(loved) it, send a SMS to us 1102 or vote ''PHOENIGETUZSTHA'' on http://www.qbc.que/WorldVision.

QEP - WorldVision Song Contest Coverage
With Stratonice Sataurage and Hanno Charaibalos

Stratonice: Welcome back to another WorldVision, this one being the 22nd edition of the contest. I'm your new commentator, as you'll probably know that I'm the commentator for the World Hit Festival and Phoenigetz star in my own right, it is me, Stratonice Sataurage.
Hanno: And after a one edition absence, I'm back, its me Hanno Charaibalos. So, we are here in Monterra, Mediterra, somewhere ere you're more familiar with I believe Stratonice?
Stratonice: Oh yes, they sent the amazing song "Förajna" and the quite terrible "En Dröm Magikal", however I hear their song tonight is good one, so maybe we'll see Mediterra rise once more.
Hanno Well here's the opening act, Oda, who sadly failed to represent her country in either the WorldVision or World Hit Festival this year, will be singing her winning melody, Symphonia.

Oda performs...

Stratonice: And that's why she won... What a performance!
Hanno: Yes, truly spectacular, but tonight isn't about her, it's about these performers, the ones competing in WorldVision 22, so here first we have The Republic of Lanos with "Another Hole in the Ground Part 2"

Lanos performs

Stratonice: Oh dear...
Hanno: Maybe they're just not cut out for WorldVision. Ah well, good luck to them all the same.
Stratonice: If by some wierd sorcery you do want to vote for them, the number to call is 0650 843 01.
Hanno: Oh look! Next up is us! Ashgur Damantibal with "Mehr"

Phoenigetuzstha performs

Hanno: He did a good job, don't you think Stratonice?
Stratonice: I loved it, just my sort of music. I really hope this does well.
Hanno: Unfortunately, you can't vote for him. Now, our next song comes from Bloodbath Generation and is called "A Place All My Own" by Mackenzie's Friends.

LIVE from Monterra, Mediterra, announcers Marina de Nantes and Paul Enzetti bring exclusive coverage of WorldVision 22 to Zannania! Their 30+ collective years of broadcasting experience on ZEETV give you in-depth access to WorldVision and keep you updated with scores coming in from around the world!

Marina: Good evening, Zannania! I hope you'll stay with us as Paul and I accompany you through each entry, with our thoughts.

Paul: And as always, when you want to vote for your favorite, the number and text will appear on the bottom of the screen after the postcard. And it looks like we're just in time to catch the opening act!

Opening Act
Marina: Quite impressive, if I do say so myself.
Paul: Indeed, Marina. It's easy to see why she claimed the highest score for Chenkorya last year. Will we see a phenomenal performance like hers this year? I don't know.
Marina: Well, we're about to find out, the first act is about to begin. Here's Blue Void, with Another Hole in the Ground, Part Two.

LANOS
Marina: Wow. They really hate fascism, don't they Paul?
Paul: Definitely. Fascism is not very popular here in Zannania, so maybe they'll get some votes from the far left?
Marina: *laughs* Probably. The Zannanian NatSocials aren't going to be too pleased, though.
Paul: *also chuckles* Now now, Marina, we're not supposed to espouse our political preferences on the air.
Marina: *sarcastically* Apologies. If you at home want to vote for Lanos' entry, call the number below or text "VOTE" to 22001 on your mobile, or go online to www.zeetv.zan/worldvision-vote.
Paul: Now, I think it's time for our second performance. Here's Mehr, by Ashgur Damantibal, all the way from Phoenigetuzstha!

PHOENIGETUZSTHA
Marina: That was really fun! I loved it! Definitely on my shortlist!
Paul: Meh, I'm not so into the whole fun dance-y type of music. But it was alright.
Marina: Killjoy. Anyway, I'm sure a majority of the country agrees with me.
Paul: What with the state of Zannania's pop scene, I think you're right. Anyway, if you at home agree with Marina and want to vote for Phoenigetuzstha, call the number below or text "VOTE" to 22002. You can also go online to www.zeetv.zan/worldvision-vote.
Marina: And it looks like we're ready for our third song of the night. Here's Bloodbath Generation's entry, entitled A Place All My Own, by Mackenzie's Friends!

BLOODBATH GENERATION

Marina: *wipes tears from her eyes* That was very moving.
Paul: Yes, apparently the original BG contestant was killed in a car accident, and her friends decided to take her place. That's sure to get them some votes. The song wasn't bad, either.
Marina: If you liked Mackenzie's Friends for their backstory, or for their song, call our number or text "VOTE" to 22003. Online polls are also open. Are we ready for the next segment, Paul?
Paul: We sure are! From Polkopia, here's Anastasia Ulanski, with her song, What Love.

POLKOPIA

Paul: Anything significant thoughts?
Marina: Nah, it didn't really interest me at all. Kind of boring, actually.
Paul: Wow, I disagree. I really liked it.
Marina: *rolls eyes* You would like the most boring song so far.
Paul: Everyone's entitled to their opinion.
Marina: *sighs* Well, if you're boring like Paul here, and want to vote for Anastasia, call our number, or text "VOTE" to 22004. Online voting is open, too.
Paul: Up next, it's Bonjour, by Lymantatia's own DANAE!

LYMANTATIA

Paul: Well, that was very.... global.
Marina: Yeah, it seemed to be in several languages. It would have helped if they'd given subtitles.
Paul: If you at home are feeling international, call the number below, or text "VOTE" to 22005. Online voting is also available.
Marina: I'm excited for the next act! Who is it, Paul?
Paul: From Sagatagan, it's La Vagantoj with Lobo.

SAGATAGAN

Marina: A very haunting piece by La Vagantoj.
Paul: Folk music isn't usually my cup of tea, but for some reason I love this song.
Marina: Same here. It was relevant to the country it's from, it tells a great story, and it had some good musical components as well. I'd give it 10 or 11 even.
Paul: I think it's still too early to tell, but I think you're onto something with that prediction, Marina. If you feel the same as we do, go to our website, or call the toll-free number below. Better still, text "VOTE" to 22006.
Marina: Who's following that up? It's Zachary Lech, from Deblinian Masovia, with Modlitwa o Deszcz!

DEBLINIAN MASOVIA

Marina: Thoughts, Paul?
Paul: I was thoroughly uninterested, until he started making sense and the music picked up. You?
Marina: It was okay. Kind of forgettable, don't you think?
Paul: Maybe that's not the word I would use, for of the above-average stage performance at least. If we're talking about the song itself, "unoriginal" would be more suitable. However, if you sitting at home disagree with us, and want to vote for Zachary Lech, please call the number on your screen, or text "VOTE" to 22007. Our website poll is also open at www.zeetv.zan/worldvision-vote.
Marina: But seriously, don't do it.
Paul: *rolls eyes* You're incorrigible. Now, onto the next song! From the host country itself, it's Sasha Whiner, with Drums of Love!

MEDITERRA

Paul: Since you already know how I feel about songs like this, what is your verdict?
Marina: Guilty of musical murder. Ugh, that was the epitome of pop trash.
Paul: *raises eyebrows* Wow, that was harsh.
Marina: *shrugs shoulders* I'm not sorry. It was really that bad.
Paul: You'll be getting no arguments over on this end of the announcer's table.
Marina: If you're deaf, and in the mood of making me feel suicidal, go ahead and call the number below, or text "VOTE" to 22008. Our online voting booths are open, as well.
Paul: Now that that ordeal is over, we have Redaya's entry on stage! Here's Usak Itibar with Stone Hearted!

REDAYA

Marina: That song was-
Paul: Creepy.
Marina: I was going to go with "strange", but creepy works too.
Paul: Creepy. Definitely.
Marina: Needless to say, I think it's my new least-favorite.
Paul: Creepy!
Marina: I think we get it now, Paul. If you feel that Usak Itibar's song was thoroughly uncreepy, feel free to call the number below or text "VOTE" to 22009. Or visit ZEETV online and cast your vote there. Paul, are you okay now?
Paul: Yeah, I think I'll be alright eventually. I was just thoroughly creeped out. Who do we have next, Marina?
Marina: From Folkland, it's Renaissance, by Anisemandr!

FOLKLAND

Paul: Hated it.
Marina: Unfortunately, I have to agree. I tried really hard to like it, but it's just so annoying. And not in a good way.
Paul: This is how not to do a folk song at WorldVision.
Marina: If you at home are in a folksy disposition this evening, just text "VOTE" to 22010, or call the toll-free number below.
Paul: I need a drink.
Marina: Ah, Paul! We're not even halfway through yet! Save the drink for something truly awful. With over 30 songs left, there's bound to be one that's worse.
Paul: It could be this one, even!
Marina: Well, let's hope not! These lovely ladies from Valcluse, known as D.I.V.A, are ready with On My Own.

VALCLUSE

Marina: *clapping excitedly* I loved it so much! That was a great song!
Paul: I hate these songs. They sing about how much fun they have. No one has that much fun in real life.
Marina: If you have a life, unlike Paul, text "VOTE" to 22011, or call the number below, or go to our website polls.
Paul: *grumbles incoherently*
Marina: *smirks* What's that, Paul?
Paul: *rolls eyes* With our next song, from Dragion, here's The Iron Monkeys, with their song Toxic Funland.

DRAGION

Marina: ....Are my ears bleeding?
Paul: No! You really disliked it that much? I thought it was awesome! *dons a wig and thrashes head back and forth, while humming the melody*
Marina: Ick! Stop that, you idiot! Your hair is getting in my eyes *rolls eyes and bats his flying wig away, laughing*
Paul: I kid, I kid. That was a whole different kind of awful. But only because that kind of music is not really my area of interest. If you like screaming, toxins, and playgrounds, or any combination of the three, make sure to vote online now, or text "VOTE" to 22012. You can always call the number below, as well.
Marina: Now that you're done making an ass of yourself, would you mind telling us who's next?
Paul: Of course. With her song Getting There, here's Allania, from Kington Langley!

KINGTON LANGLEY

Paul: Simple, yet sweet.
Marina: Boring, yet boring.
Paul: You don't have a single bone in your body that appreciates good soft music.
Marina: "Good" and "soft music" don't go in the same sentence.
Paul: Your opinion. I'm sure a lot of folks at home will love its simplicity.
Marina: Sure, sure. *rolls eyes* If you agree with Paul, call our number on the screen, vote online, or text the word "VOTE" to 22013.
Paul: Now that we've had a good song, let's see if this next one is even better.
Marina: Sure thing! This is Dekalana Vashenkov, representing New United Equestria, with her song, Don't Need You!

NEW UNITED EQUESTRIA

Marina: Forgettable.
Paul: I've got to agree with you on that one. It felt like a good song, but there was something.... missing.
Marina: Well, if you find out what was wrong with that performance, and feel like they deserve the vote, call the number below, go to our website, or text "VOTE" to 22014.
Paul: And for our next performance, we've got Albertasby slated for it, with Melody Star singing Skeletons.

ALBERTASBY

Paul: That was incredible! Marvelous!
Marina: I enjoyed it. That was a breath of fresh air.
Paul: You can say that again! Maybe I won't need that drink after all!
Marina: Oh, I'm sure that something will come up. If you liked Albertasby's entry, go to ZEETV's website, or call the toll free number below. If you want to text, just send "VOTE" to 22015.
Paul: I'm sad to see her walk off stage. Who's next?
Marina: From Crolacia, here's My Love, by Elleman Gustavsson.

CROLACIA

Marina: Let me guess: you loved it.
Paul: Who wouldn't? That man sure can play the violin!
Marina: HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT? HE WAS OFF-KEY THE WHOLE TIME!!
Paul: I don't know what you're talking about.
Marina: Perhaps I'll be the drunk one by tonight's end.
Paul: If you at home agree with me that Crolacia had a great song, then text "VOTE" to 22016. You can also call the number on your screen, or go online to www.zeetv.zan/worldvision-vote.
Marina: Let's move onto our next act.
Paul: Yes, I'm sure that we are all willing to see the next performer!
Marina: Oh my goodness! I'm proud to announce that the next singer up is our own act! Zannania, here is your entry, Possibly, by Marc Grassroot!

ZANNANIA

Marina: *still applauding* Woohoo! Go Marc!
Paul: Job well done, Marc! You've made Zannania very proud of our debut WV entry.
Marina: Unfortunately, for those at home unfamiliar with the rules, we cannot vote for ourselves.
Paul: But I'm sure he made a good enough entry to get some points.
Marina: Definitely. I think it's time for the next entry. Here's Yakostan's performer, Old Man Jim and his Band of Sheep, with their song Beards (Ba Ba Ba Ba).

YAKOSTAN

Marina: .....
Paul: ...........
Marina: You want that drink now?
Paul: *pulls a bottle of Crown Royal from underneath the desk* You want a double?
Marina: Make it a triple.
Paul: While Marina and I are drowning our sorrows, feel free to NOT call our toll-free number, or text "VOTE" to 22018. Online voting is also NOT available.
Marina: *downs shot* ANOTHER, PAUL!
Paul: Here ya go. *pours her another* Our next act is from Calimera. His name is Fernando Villalba, and his song is Mi Amor.
Marina: Shut up, I'm trying to listen!

CALIMERA

Marina: *dancing on the desk* YEAH! SING TO ME, FERNANDO!
Paul: Marina, get down from there!
Marina: VOTE FOR CALIMERA! WHOO! TEXT "VOTE" TO 22019! *shakes to the beat*
Paul: I can't believe you even got the number right. You at home can also go to our website, or call the number on your screen.
Marina: *falls off desk*
Paul: Oh my god, are you okay?
Marina: *gets up groggily* Wha-?
Paul: Never mind. Here's our next act: Anollasia's The Bernsters, with Just Keep Going On! *turns to assist Marina off the floor*

ANOLLASIA

Paul: Well, that was a pleasant song.
Marina: They should market that song as a cure for hangovers. I feel better alre- *vomits beside announcer's desk*
Paul: While we get someone to clean that up, feel free to vote for Anollasia's entry by going to our website, or calling the number below. Also, you can text "VOTE" to 22020.
Marina: Give it up for Quebec, with Eternal Reminiscence, by Rogue!

QUEBEC

Paul: Another decent song, gosh it seems like they're making up for that song with the sheep.
Marina: Don't even mention sheep, I might vomit again.
Paul: Mum's the word. Anyway, I thought that was a great song, how about you?
Marina: I wouldn't vote for it, but I'd put it on my playlist.
Paul: Well, there you have it. If you liked Rogue's song, text "VOTE" to 22021, or call the number, or vote online at www.zeetv.zan/worldvision-vote.
Marina: It looks like we're WELL overdue for a commercial break, so here's one now. We'll be back with more WorldVision from Mediterra. *vomits again*

QBC-The Official Quebecois Coverage of WV22(2)

Interview During Intermission
Corneille: Hello, and welcome back to QBC's Official Coverage of the 22nd WorldVision Song contest in Monterra, Mediterra. During the break, we would like to interview three members of the Rogue, Quebec's First-ever WorldVision participant!
(Sound of clapping overheard from the back)
Colm Morrison: Hello. I'm Colm Morrison,
Erina: Erina Watson,
Daley: and Daley McPherson.
Corneille: So, it's good to see you again after a long hiatus. When was the last time since you have released your last album?
Colm: Well. This is Rogue's first album in last 3 years, and also this is the first time we are on a live performance with this beautiful lady right here(pointing to Erina).

Erina quickly blushed, while Daley, Diane and Corneille smile and laugh.

Diane: Well, how do you feel about being the 9th Vocalist of Rogue and representing Quebec for our first-ever WorldVision Song contest?
Erina: Well. This is my first Television appearance as a Rogue, and I'm still impressed that I'm standing here, talking amongst great hosts like you(Corneille winks at her, while Diane looks at her, as if she's jealous) and represent Quebec. Maintenant, Je suis habiter à Montréal pour 2 ans et sur ma temps à Montréal, j'ai etudié beaucoup des choses( I'm living in Montreal for 2 years and during my time in Montreal, I have learned many things). I have started to adapt to Quebecois lifestyle, from how to eat Poutine and to how to take QNR train to go to other cities. But, the main point is that, this is a huge honour given to not only myself, but also the whole band.

Corneille: What about you, Daley?
Daley: I have spent most of my careers in Indies, which made me feel proud of being able to join Rogue at the centre of Quebec's music industry. Every moment I spend as a Rogue is joyful and unforgettable.
Diane: I heard that your entry has a special meaning and story behind its creation?
Colm: Well, this song is written by Connor Lane, our drummer toujours and Erina. This was written when we were on Catherine's funeral. You know about the love story between Catherine Torres and Connor, right?
Corneille: Heck yeah! I have known about it since when I was 12! Brought me to tears when I heard what happened and why(starts to cry).

Daley:....... Diane. Is Mr.Trois-Montagnes usually like that? I have never seen such a cheerful man crying like a baby.
Diane: Well.... not really. This is my first time, even though we have worked together for 12 years.
Regardless, we have to move on with our broadcasting. Thanks for chatting with us. Corneille, are you Okay?
Corneille:(with his handkerchief on left side of his face) Yeah. I'm Ok.
Diane: And now, we're back into the coverage. Here's..... Bloodbath Generation!

Bloodbath Generation: A Place All My Own

Diane: And that was A Place All My Own by McKenzie's Friends. How was it,Corn?
Corneille: Hm. Better than the opening entry, for sure. But, I have a question left for MacKenzie's Friends. Why did you placed a fog machine in addition to the green, bushy forest on the background? I think using only one of them would've been better. Visually, that was the huge problem.
Diane: Also, they somehow holds the note in wrong place. I didn't like the lyrics, they were too simple. But the background music was great.
Corneille: And don't forget about their background story. It's very sad.
Diane: Corneille. Please don't cry again!
Corneille: I'll try,Diane. Thank god I'm not married yet.
Diane: Regardless, if you liked their song, mix of fog machine and forest background, or their back story, please send SMS on 1103 or vote 'BLOODBATH GENERATION' on our website, http://www.qbc.que/WorldVision. Corneille. So, who's the next?
Corneille: Well. Next performance is from..... Polkopia!

Polkopia:What Love?

Corneille: Damn. She's hot.
Diane: Well. I liked it. What about you?
Corneille: To be honest, her physical attractiveness is quite strong, but it would've been much stronger if she wore a white dress instead of gold. Gold doesn't really fit the mood, her voice and background music. Also, it would've been much emphasised and stronger performance if there was no background dancers. They started to annoy me after a while.
Diane: I think it was fine on musical aspect. Her voice was very fitting to the song, background music was superb and of course, her beauty could bring.... I guess, about 6 to 8 points from me.
Corneille: If you agree with a person right next to me over here(pointing at Diane), please send SMS on 1104 or vote 'POLKOPIA' on our website.
Diane: And here's..... Lymantatia!

Lymantatia: Bonjour

Corneille: And that was Bonjour by DANAE.
Diane: Seriously. That sounded ridiculous, considering that most parlent en Francais and do know the ridicule behind the verse.
Corneille: This song was so entertaining! Couldn't stop laughing from ' Il est le cousin de Prince Jacques'. But,they poised to dominate WorldVision by using 5 different languages and decided to play funny, but instead, that went the opposite way.
Diane: No points from us. If you are in some kinds of sorcery to believe that this song worth winning, please send SMS on 1105 or vote the title of this nation on http://www.qbc.que/WorldVision.
Corneille: And now, it's from Sagatagan.

Sagatagan: Lobo

Corneille: And that was Lobo by La Vagantoj!
Diane: C'etait belle( It was beautiful). The lyrics were kinda sad but otherwise, good. Everything matched what it is requird for this kind of music.
Corneille: Who said folk music isn't welcome on Eurovision? Well, here it is. I didn't liked it much. The usage of paint-on-glass technique for storytelling was a genuine idea and should deserve points on that. However, the presence of the musician(s) was as tiny as an amoeba. They served as if they were only the background and was never able to appeal much.
Diane: If you do not agree with my coleague up here, send SMS on 1106 or vote 'SAGATAGAN' on http://www.qbc.que/WorldVision.
Corneille: Now. Here's the next song...... From Deblinian Masovia!

Deblinian Masovia:Modlitwa O Deszcz

Diane: And that was Modlitwa O Deszcz by Zachary Lech!
Corneille: How was it? I think it was fine. Performance was well-done. This was an example of a performance that was effective despite not using much actions. Kneeling at the middle of the song well represented the desperation that he was trying to send the audience. Background music was bof but well into the rock.
Diane: I think his vocals wasn't fitting with the lyrics. Lyrics of this song were supposed to show how desperate he is, yet his voice is the opposite, as if he was rebelling against his mum.
Corneille: What about the lyrics?
Diane:I thought that sounded little bit... religious. Polish lyrics, well, most do not even speak that language so no problems with that, but the English part was quite close to being a Gospel song.
Corneille: And if you thought this song was 'Cool' and would like to bring Apocalypse with water, please vote '1107' on SMS or the title of the nation on our website.
Diane: and now, we're off to a brief commercial break. Hope to see you extremely soon and stay tuned!
D'amour ou D'amitie, the official commerial song of the QBC is on, as the program changes to the commercials from 3:35-3:52.

22. Costa Fiero: Ana Marquez - La Noche Latina

Ana Marquez stood on stage surrounded by her backup dancers. She was wearing a short black dress which sparkled in the light and high stilletto heels which matched the dress. She stood facing the crowd in the center of the stage. Behind her were the dancers, facing away. Each wore white high top kicks, faded grey jeans and a loose black leather jacket with a black tank top underneath. As the opening beats of the song began, the dancers raised their right arms straight up and slowly brought them down as she began to sing the first verse. The lights also flash on and off for the opening beats and remain on when she begins to sing:

En esta noche ya brillan
Como la luna latina.
Tus ojos, me cautivan
Me ponen la “piel de gallina”.

As she finished that last line, the dancers turned around and walked up behind her, ready to begin their routine for the chorus. The lights turn a golden colour.

Woah, whoah ooh.
Woah, whoah ooh.

The dancers then began to do a hip-hop style dance routine behind Ana as she sang the chorus. One of the dancers, a man with incredibly short hair and chiseled facial features, walks up from the group and stands beside her. Ana then turns and begins to dance with him, all whilst singing, although she still continues to dance with him after the chorus is finished.

En la noche latina
Las sombras ya me animan.
Puedo sentir tu pasión.
Disfrutemos esta ocasión.

En la noche latina
Y las estrellas que cautivan.
Puedo sentir tu amor.
No acabes con mi ilusión.

After she finishes dancing, she turns to the crowd and begins to sing the second verse. The lights turn to a deep red. The dancers continue with their routine. The man continues to dance a more passionate routine next to Ana:

Tus ojos brillan esta noche.
Quieren llevarme al derroche.
En tus brazos estoy.
El amor a mí llegó.

Woah woah ooh
Woah woah ooh

The lights turn gold again and Ana goes back and dances with the man. The dancers continue their routine.

En la noche latina
Las sombras ya me animan.
Puedo sentir tu pasión.
Disfrutemos esta ocasión.

En la noche latina
Y las estrellas que cautivan.
Puedo sentir tu amor.
No acabes con mi ilusión.

The lights dim somewhat and a spolight reveals a man on a stool to the right of the stage playing a guitar. The man plays a guitar solo until Ana begins to sing the final part of the song. As she does so, the lights dim and the spotlight shines on Ana. She finishes the song in the arms of the dancer she was with in the chorus.

Tus ojos brillan esta noche.
Quieren llevarme al derroche.
En tus brazos estoy.
El amor a mí llegó.

Woah woah ooh
Woah woah ooh
Woah woah ooh
Woah woah ooh

After the song is finished, she says "Muchas Gracias Mediterra!" and leaves the stage.

First Verse
Tonight, they are shining already
Like the latin moon.
Your eyes, captivate me
And give me goosebumps.

Chorus
In the latin night
The darkness is encouraging me already.
I can feel your passion.
Let’s enjoy this occasion.

In the latin night
And the stars that captivate
I can feel your love
Do not end up with my illusion

Second/Third Verse
Your eyes are shining tonight.
They lead me to your spirit within (derroche means excessive use of one's energy)
I’m in your arms.
The love has taken me over.

Euskirribakondara for helping me with my terrible Spanish. If there is anything I can do in return for this favor, do let me know.

23. KINGSLEY BEDFORD
When Love Is Gone by Dimitry

MUSIC BASED ON- "Crno i Belo" by Kaliopi (FYR Macedonia 2012) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rydVezxCoW8&feature=related

Dimitry steps onto the stage and music begins...

VERSE 1-
When all is said and done
and the moment has come
the time we shared
Will forever be forgotten

The days and nights are so cold
the silence makes me lose my mind
but I'm losing all control
this feeling is changing it all

CHORUS
When Love is gone
and daylight becomes your worst nightmare
I will never look back
the past is now behind me

When Love is gone
and daylight becomes your worst nightmare
this feeling is controlling me
it's taking over me

The music now turns into a rock melody and picks up in pace
Verse 2
So now that you are gone
I have no regrets
I move on with life
It' not hard for me, not for me

You caused nothing but pain for me
now I can really see
that without you
I can be strong, I can be free
It's taking over me

CHORUS

Instrumental bit
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

CHORUS

When Love Is Gone

24. Chenkorya - Outside with "Raven"
To the melody of Faster, by Within Temptation

The guys and the girl from Outside were so happy that they had finally made it. Since ChenkorVision 2 they had been trying to represent Chenkorya in WorldVision, and they came with amazing songs every year; Anhely and Elena, to call two, were amazing. This edition of ChenkorVision had been their year, they won the national final of Chenkorya, and were allowed to defend the titel in Mediterra. And that was what they were planning to do; taking the victory home once again. Oda was a world wide super star now, and although they were famous with almost all hard rock & metal fans of the world, they wanted to be known by everyone, and they wanted to release their 2011 album The Children of Thunder in the whole world, because everyone agreed it was a great album. The last time in Mediterra had been a great time, the lead singer Luciana Franjic could get along with the other contestants well, and the organization by the Mediterran board was very good. Although the stage and the arena were quite disappointing, they expected something like WV21, not something with a strange pool and all, but everyone was friendly, and that kind of made everything allright again. They walked up the stage, receiving a huge cheer, watched their postcard, then started their performance.

When the performance began, everything was dark. Then the music started. While the electric guitar playing was moderately loud, still no lights were turned on. But when more guitars kicked in, and the music became much louder because of that, fireworks above the stage (like in this video on 2:34, but in this performance it was silver instead of the gold in the video) appeared, and silver lights started flashing. In the middle of the stage was lead singer Luciana, looking like this. She was smiling and head banging, just like some other members of the band. After some seconds, some guitars stopped playing, which made the music quieter. Luciana stopped head banging and erased some hairs from her face. She then started singing, and you could already hear she had an amazing voice.
Desperate needs, oh, they lead to desperate deeds
When you smell gold, you just can’t behold and wait
You are no longer able to keep straight
You go astray, and fall into evil ways

The fireworks disappeared, and the stage was just black with lights on the members of Outside now. Luciana, the lead singer, was an extremely beautiful woman, she was often called MILF by Chenkoryans, although she wasn't even a mother yet, she had just passed the age of 30. The next part was kind of the bridge to the refrain. Everytime Luciana sang "it's just greed" she made a movement with one of her hands.
It’s just greed, it’s just greed, it’s just greed, it’s just greed, it’s just greed, it’s just greed, it’s just greed

The music was very loud again! The lights were changing between silver and black now, and there were some effects to the black-to-silver-changing backdrop that looked like it was shaking, like there was an earthquake, or like the guitars of the members of Outside were so heavy that the ground shaked. The stage was one big flickering thing now, so the cameras made close ups of Luciana's face, and she sang amazing, so high but still so powerful. While they sang the refrain, wind machines were blowing heavily.
Searching for love, in a raven’s eyes
You believe, in all of the devil’s lies
You just cannot refuse, the gold that is ogling, on the evil side
You can’t find love, in a raven’s eyes

The wind machines stoped blowing wind to Outside, so that effect disappeared. The backdrop turned back to black again and stopped shaking. Finally, the music became more quiet again. Luciana erased some hair from her face again, it had came in her face when the wind machines blowed. She continued singing with a normal voice again, singing with that same voice would be tiring and it would lose it's effect on the power of the song.
Are you still brave, when I turn my face to you?
I look at you, what are you going to do?
From your look, I see that it isn’t your own will
I can see that you would never overkill

She looked with a dark look right into the cameras. Then the cameras filmed the other members of the band, a bold one, who looked a lot like the devil, and some mediocre one. Only the lead singer Luciana Franjic could win a beauty contest, all other members were quite ugly. Luciana now sang the same bridge to the refrain, but this time it had other lyrics than the previous time she sang the bridge.
So corruptible, corruptible, corruptible, corruptible, corruptible, corruptible, corruptible

The same effects as in the previous refrain came. The wind machines started blowing heavily, the lights started flickering from black to silver, the fireworks... a real rock(ing) performance, I'd say! Luciana Franjic took a very big breath and continued singing again, in the very beautiful way she did before. She could even go higher, and that's what she did in her song Anhely in CV2, but in this song she didn't.
You’re listening, to another being’s advice
When you shoot me, at least look into my eyes
You just cannot refuse, the gold that is ogling, on the evil side
You can’t find love in a raven’s eyes

Now an AMAZING part of the song came. A long guitar solo that only appeared on the album version (this version) was played by the guitar player who looked like the devil with his bold head and kind of elongated looking face. The cameras made close ups of his fingers, of his head that was looking to his guitar, of Luciana who was head banging and looking at the electric guitar player. This was the moment for the crowd to totally go crazy. Chenkoryans were screaming and shouting to support their act, and also because they thought it was an amazing part of the song. The guitar player ended his amazing solo (which did get a huge cheer) with three high notes after each other, then all lights went out, except a spotlight on Luciana. Fast, an echo function was chosen on her mic, so this part sounded better. The music stopped, and Luciana sang one part alone, a technique that was often used in songs to give goosebumps, and also this time it did give goosebumps. She sang one line on her own, and it did gave the effect it should give.
Searching for love, in a raven’s eyes

Luciana closed her eyes, then did one headbang, and then all lights, fireworks, and wind machines turned on again. The backdrop was flickering, Luciana's hair was moving in the wind, and the fireworks above the stage were turning round and round again. The guitar players played again with full strength, and for the first time the drum kit player was filmed by the cameras. Luciana sang great again.
You believe, in all of the devil’s lies
You cannot find sincere things on the other side, when it’s the evil side
You can’t find love in a raven’s eyes
A raven’s eyes

The guitars played the outro together, while Luciana ended the song with a very good long note. At the last note the guitars played, all lights faded away, with a kind of whooshing sound. The crowd started cheering very loud. "THANK YOU MEDITERRA! Spaxhibo Mediterra!" Luciana said and she laughed at the cameras.

25.  Ranbo
Joey Harlem

Revelation
Melody: Fireflies

Representing the nation of Ranbo for the first time in WorldVision, Joey Harlem would be debuting his new song, Revelation. What would come next would be the world premiere, literally to the world. He had written this song to champion the feelings of a beginning, of the start of a new chapter in any person's life. He remembered that taking the first step is always the hardest. This performance was Ranbo's first step, his first step, and his song's first step. This was the start, plain and simple.

The stage, blanketed in darkness, was silent. The air hanging in suspense, the blackness suddenly gave way to a single beam of light, centred upon a figure standing firm in the middle of the main stage. At this point, the music began.

Moving with Joey, it followed as he walked to the point where the lower stage began, and he stepped down with one foot, leaving one on the higher, and one on the lower. Raising his left hand to the sky tenderly, he began to sing.

Until the darkness falls,
Life never sees you all,
Go take the world as you fall beneath,

'Cause you're standing tall,
On top of the mountaintop,
I'll just swear
That you'll take me in the air,

Reaching the chorus for the first time, Joey let his voice drop slightly softer, and he stepped down to the lower stage entirely. Swaying to the melody, dots of light began to fill the stage, and they moved around illuminating the darkness as he sang.

Until the world just falls asleep,
The revelation, goes beneath,
When the world's at your knees,
Troubles past your sleep
'Cause you're just climbing deep,

Raising himself up to the main stage again, Joey set on continuing the verses. When the tempest was mentioned, a brief but strong wind whipped on the stage and throughout the audience, buffeting the people slightly. However, it made Joey's hair ruffle quite nicely in the wind.

There's not a tempest strong,
Enough to do you wrong,
Even when it's blowing hard.

Making a simple first up in the air, Joey swung it towards his chest. At this point, from the speckled darkness, 2 red beams of light lit up, and began swinging back and forth, one in front of Joey, and one in the back. They swung in opposite directions, one going left first, one found right, then reversing direction.

Your revelation's here,
Enough to make a sear,
Upon all your journeys' reap
Just remember you've earned your keep.

As he was about to start the chorus again, 2 blue beams added to the red, swinging back and forth in opposite direction of the other beams. When they met it the middle, a resounding purple hue was formed briefly in the front, and the back.

Until the world just falls asleep,
The revelation, goes beneath,
When the world's at your knees,
Troubles past your sleep
'Cause you're just climbing deep,

Stepping out of the beams of light, Joey watched them die off, and then be replaced by dots of light that once again danced throughout the entire auditorium. Keeping a hand outstretched, Joey brought it around  and pressed it to his heart, bringing his other hand to press over it.

To all the believers strong,
Keep this drink your heart,
Just remember to press along,

At this point, flashes of red reverberated around the stage to signify pain, and Joey placed himself on his knees, a look of pain briefly distorting his face before composing it and continuing out, gesturing to all who were watching. Making a fist from his outstretched hand, he pumped it as he rose to his fear triumphantly at the end of the verse.

But then even if you fall,
You fail to answer a call,
Pick yourself up and keep on going,

Returning to the chorus, Joey is joined by two backup singers floating in the pool, twisting around to the melody. In addition, Joey pointed to the audience to join him singing the chorus one more time, and sways to their singing, all-together making a powerful melody as he sings along them.

Until the world just falls asleep,
The revelation, goes beneath,
When the world's at your knees,
Troubles past your sleep
'Cause you're just climbing deep,

Giving a huge thumbs-up, Joey gestures for total silence as he sings the last part by himself, letting it be muted slightly to juxtapose it from the loud, celebratory feeling of the last stanza. Keeping quiet, he felt the air hang as he finished the final few lines. Smiling, he swayed as he sang.

Until the world just falls asleep,
The revelation, goes beneath,
When the world's at your knees,
Troubles past your sleep
'Cause you're just climbing deep,

Letting the last of the music die away, Joey pumped both his hands in the air and waved out to the crowd, which was giving him a standing ovation. "Thank you WorldVision!" He shouted, "Thank you Med-it-erra!

QEP - WorldVision Song Contest Coverage
With Stratonice Sataurage and Hanno Charaibalos

Bloodbath Generation performs

Stratonice: Well, they have definitely improved on the disaster in World Hit Festival 8!
Hanno: Yes, its a touching song, and the story behind it is so sad. They're singing at times was a bit off, but that was probably just nerves and emotion.
Stratonice: If you want to vote for Mackenzie's Friends, call 0650 843 03
Hanno: Now, up next is a country that's débuting, they've sent some good songs in the World Hit Festival, now, how about here? It's Polkopia, with Anastasia Ulanski performing "What Love?"

Polkopia performs

Stratonice That's a really good song, and I mean really good! I think we may have a potential winner here, that is, if the bloc's don't have their way.
Hanno: Them bloc voters hey... well we have Crolacia who we exchange high points with, so we can't complain. Anyway, yes, that was a really nice song. The lyrics were really powerful, and while it was what you'd expect, I really enjoyed.
Stratonice: And Anastasia looked absolutely beautiful.
Hanno: And if you want to vote for Polkopia's entry, call 0650 843 04
Stratonice: Up next we have a returning nation, we gave points to them in WorldVision 20, it's Lymantatia!
Hanno: I'm still scarred from last time... ugh

Lymantatia performs

Stratonice: Haha! Another great, happy entry from Lymantatia! They really bring a smile to everyone's faces don't they?
Hanno: Thank Ba'al it's over...
Stratonice: Oi! Don't be so rude! They were great! If you want to vote for them, call 0650 843 05.
Hanno: Now, up next is Sagatagan with Lobo, by La Vagantoj

Sagatagan performs

Hanno: I'm sorry, but no...
Stratonice: Yeah, that was awful, but if you would like to vote for it, call 0650 843 06.
Hanno: Please don't vote for it, I would never forgive my country if it was given points by us.
Stratonice: Well, next, we have Deblinian Masovia.

Deblinian Masovia performs

Stratonice: Yeah, that was quite good, but I would have loved some music or something.
Hanno Yeah, that's going to drag it down, but it is a good song nonetheless.
Stratonice: To vote for it, call 0650 843 07
Hanno: Next is Mediterra, the hosts. The two songs they've entered into competitions internationally have been mixed. One was a success, one, well, wasn't. Here we have "Drums of Love" by Sasha Whiner.

Mediterra performs

Stratonice: A really good, enjoyable song I think.
Hanno: Yes, it was very good, a potential winner in fact. My only problem is the lyrics. They suit a child's TV show rather than the international stage.
Stratonice: I agree, however her voice and the music will probably see it through, and I'm almost certain it'll get points from us. To vote for it, call 0650 843 08.
Hanno: Up next is a nation I haven't heard of before, it is débuting Redaya, with "Stone Hearted"

Redaya performs

Stratonice: I can see this appealing to many Phoenigetuzsthan viewers, the music sounds very similar to the stuff we're used to back home.
Hanno: Uh-huh. A good début from Redaya, and if they grow from this, they'll end up as one of the powerhouses of WorldVision.
Stratonice: Let's not get ahead of ourselves, it was good for a debut, but it probably isn't a winner. There aren't enough nations who appreciate that style of music. To vote for it, call 0650 843 09.
Hanno: Oh look who's next! Folkand, a country that Phoenigetuzstha usually gives points to (with it being considered the successor to Saintrabina in the contest, Phoenigetuzstha has awarded 14 points in two editions to them).

Folkand performs...

Hanno: I just can't see it being their year.
Stratonice: Well I liked it, it followed a similar pattern to the Deblinian Masovia song, but I enjoyed and see no reason not to give it points.
Hanno: Yeah, we might give it points, Phoenigetuzsthans usually like Folkandish songs.
Stratonice: To vote for it, call 0650 843 10.
Hanno: And now, we have Valcluse! Always a strong contender for our points.
WHF5: 1st (24 points)
WHF6: 15th (7 points)
WHF7: 7th (24 points)
WHF8: 5th (29 points)
WHF9: 13th (13 points)
WHF10: 4th (31 points)
WV20: 6th (75 points)
WV21: 9th (72 points)
WV22: 4th (135 points)

Calimeran Coverage of the WorldVision 22

Santiago: Helloooooo People! We're back, and the show is likely to begin every moment from now.
Cristina: Indeed Santi, the next entrae is from Polkopia, with her song What Love.

POLKOPIA
Cristina: No, just no. To cliché, like, dove and love. We hear those things every WorldVision!
Santiago: You are just jalous she looked so pretty on stage!
Cristina: Well, no.. .. But do you think that I can contact here to ask were she found that beautifull dress?
Santiago: You see.. Well, up next we have Lymantatia.

LYMANTATIA
Cristina: What the hell did I just hear?
Santiago: This wasn't the best entry of today, but I must admit it's extremely catchy!
Cristina: It was indeed catchy, and maybe that's their formula to get points this time.
Santiago: Up next we have the song 'Lobo'. They are in a Calimeran mood, because Lobo mean wulf here! Let's see if the singer is hungry enough to win this contest!

SAGATAGAN
Cristina: I must agree with the other WorldVision reporters, a fantastic musical piece. But I'mh afraid that that isn't enough to win a contest like this!
Santiagio: I must agree with you Cristina. Nothing to add.
Cristina: Uhmm Santi, I'm afraid I uhh...-
Santiago: Don't tell me you losed the program again.
Cristina: Uhhhh..... .. It's time for the commercials people! And remember, don't forget to vote and support your favorite song!
La Republica Federal de Calimera.

QEP - WorldVision Song Contest Coverage
With Stratonice Sataurage and Hanno Charaibalos

Valcluse performs

Stratonice: AM-AZ(E)-ING! That was one of, if not THE best of the night. Gosh, that's a definite 12 pointer. Go 'ed girls!
Hanno: It was good, not to my taste, but yes, it seems to be an early contender.
Stratonice: You make it sound as if it was just an 'okay' song, and its really not! Its awesome!
Hanno: If you, like Stratonice love, or even liked this song, pick up your phone and call 0650 843 11.
Stratonice: Now, next we have another new guy, Dragion!

Dragion performs

Stratonice: Aaahhh! My ears!
Hanno: Don't be so dramatic. Clearly not the best song of the night, but its far from the worst, they should expect a mid table placing.
Stratonice: If you want to vote for this monstrosity ca-
Hanno: If you want to vote for this song, call 0650 843 12.
Stratonice: I can't believe you just cut me off! That is so rude!
Hanno: Like you were being about their song?
Stratonice: Shut up Hanno.
Hanno: Next we have Kington Langley with "Getting There" by Allania.

Kington Langley performs

Stratonice: Well, that was sweet.
Hanno: Yeah, it was nice. Its something the juries would vote for, most definitely, but do you, the viewers at home like it? If so, call 0650 843 13.
Stratonice: Next we have a newbie, New United Equestria.

New United Equestria performs

Stratonice: Well, it's their début. They can hardly be expected to do well, can they?
Hanno: We came 6th in our début, and 1st in our World Hit Festival début.
Stratonice: Yeah, you're right.
Hanno: It's not good enough to get a top placing. No performance, no music, just words. Meaningless unless something goes with them.
Stratonice: If you want to vote for New United Equestria, call 0650 843 14.
Hanno: Now, next up is last years runner up, Albertasby. We have our 12 to them last year, so let's see what they have for us this time around.

Albertasby performs

Hanno: That was nice, don't you think
Stratonice: I expected so much more from them. They don't have any music! After their flop in the World Hit Festival, you'd think they'd act on it, but nope, here we are again.
Hanno: There entry was much better last year, but this isn't bad.
Stratonice: To vote for this disappointment, call 0650 843 15.
Hanno: Next up is... oh look, our neighbours Crolacia!

Crolacia performs

Stratonice: I'm not a fan of the music, but the lyrics are great!
Hanno: I'd be surprised if we didn't give it 8, 10 or 12.
Stratonice: Calm yourself, we always give Crolacia points.
Hanno: Yeah, I know. To vote for them, call 0650 843 16.
Stratonice: And, up next we have another newcomer, Zannania with the song "Possibly".

Zannania performs

Hanno: I think we have our winner!
Stratonice: That was really quite special!
Hanno: If you want to vote for it, call 0650 843 17.
Stratonice: That's a hard act to follow, so, who is next?
Hanno: Next is Yakostan.

Yakostan performs

Hanno: Whaa...?
Stratonice: I... um...
Hanno: 0650 843 18...
Stratonice: Calimera... next...

Calimer performs

Stratonice: Finally! Normal music!
Hanno: Yeah, a bit boring and generic though.
Stratonice: It was better than the last thing.
Hanno: Most things are, 0650 843 19 to vote for Calimera.
Stratonice: And next up is Anollasia.

Anollasia performs

Hanno: We sent a song similar to that to World Hit Festival 6. We got just 6 points.
Stratonice: It wasn't bad, but there has been much, much better.
Hanno: Something for the middle of the scoreboard. To vote for it, call 0650 843 20.
Stratonice: So, we have The Royal Kingdom of Quebec next.

The R.K. of Quebec performs

Hanno: An excellent début! Don't you think?
Stratonice: It was beautiful, however at times it got a bit boring.
Hanno: No it didn't. I can see this getting lots of points from the juries, and hopefully our voters AND juries will give it points.
Stratonice: To vote, call 0650 843 21. Now, next, we have Costa Fiero!

Costa Fiero performs

Stratonice: My new favourite! She is a beautiful lady singing a beautiful song!
Hanno: I like it too, but my favourite is still "Possibly". I can see "La Noche Latina" getting our 12 points in the televote, and "Possibly" getting the 12 in the jury vote.
Stratonice: I agree with you, although Crolacia, Mediterra and The Royal Kingdom of Quebec will be fighting every step of the way for them points too.
Hanno: And don't for get Polkopia.
Stratonice: Of course! Anyway, to vote for this, call 0650 843 22.
Hanno: Next up we have Kingsley Bedford, they usually give us something good to listen too.

Kingsley Bedford performance

Stratonice: I just LOVE her voice. Its so strong and powerful! And that scream! Ugh amazing!
Hanno: Yes, her voice was amazing, as was the music. This is a very strong contender.
Stratonice: And the concept of the lyrics is so unique too. A really great entry.
Hanno: To vote for this, call 0650 843 23.
Stratonice: Next up, we have the defending champions, Chenkorya!

Chenkorya performs

Stratonice: That was just everywhere. The lyrics just had no confluence.
Hanno: She sung very well though, even if the lyrics were a bit, rubbish.
Stratonice: I mean, like obviously your not going to find love in a ravens eyes, because that's bestiality. Wait... are Chenkoryan's zoophiles!?
Hanno: I don't think so, no. To vote for it call 0650 843 24. Now next up, we have Ranbo.
Stratonice: Gosh, it's took them long enough hasn't it!

Ranbo performs

Stratonice: That was nice and sweet.
Hanno: Yeah, the music and singing fell below par, but the lyrics were nice.
Stratonice: To vote for this, call 0650 843 and add 25 on the end.
WHF5: 1st (24 points)
WHF6: 15th (7 points)
WHF7: 7th (24 points)
WHF8: 5th (29 points)
WHF9: 13th (13 points)
WHF10: 4th (31 points)
WV20: 6th (75 points)
WV21: 9th (72 points)
WV22: 4th (135 points)
WV23: 10th (76 points)

26. Luziyca
I Love You Freedom
Melody
Artist: Sejol Varkov
Languages: Luziycan, Dutch, English, Swedish, French, Latin, Finnish, Azerbaidzhani, Arabic, Irish, Mandarin, Greek, Hebrew, Russian, Italian and Spanish.

Just 10 seconds before the song began, the screen changes to an image of Bethlehem, Luziyca. In particular, the Presidential Palace, with the Luziycan flag transparent that is flying.

Sejol, wearing a business suit, comes up, with a Luziycan flag, on his right hand. The set is four fronts of houses, with 5 meter trees, and and a sidewalk, which "pops" just a second before it begins.

Sejol then begins to sing the song.

Erzhe nihou levani;
Libra skroveni ameukai,
Kheryani Deu

Mijn land, gezegend door hem,
Wij zullen altijd blijven herinneren
Mijn vaderland, mijn adem, mijn droom

An attractive lady, dressed up in a purple nightgown that goes to her ankles then comes out of a house, and then sings in a duet with Sejol.

My freedom, I forever love
Freedom shall forever be
Protected by God!

Det finns ingen Gud,
Men Herren!
Acceptera Jesus som din Frälsare,
Eftersom han ger dig frihet

An old man then comes by, in a walker, and shakes his fist at the two, before "reluctantly" singing.

Mon beau pays,
Quels sont m'accorder
Liberté!

Libertatem et libertatem
Lausitz et aeternum
tueri!

Then, a Hippostanian-Luziycan then arrives, dressed as a football (association football, obviously) player, and then sings the next verse solo.

Minun kaunis hengitys,
Minun kaunis koti!
Minun kaunis vapaus,
Onko mitään voin kysyä?

Then, all of them sing the next two verses together.

Mənim gözəl pulsuz torpaq,
Mənim ata-baba tərəfindən mübarək!

بارك الله أرضه مهيب
وبيته!

An irritated stereotypical Irish man, carrying a mug containing "beer" (actually wine) then takes the next verse, in Irish.

An áit chónaithe na saoirse, go deo
Déanfar iad a chosaint
De réir Eisean

Then, Sejol takes another solo.

我,我,我的英雄,
我不能賭上壓迫不再!

Τα όνειρά μου της ελευθερίας
θα πρέπει πάντοτε
Έλα σε μένα!

Then, they all sing the final verses.

בוא, החופש שלי,
שלי בנים ובנות
אנו נמצא בארץ!

Мы нашли нашу новую нацию;
Благословен Бог,
И его свободы!

Fidatevi di noi, Gesù!

Then, they all leave the stage, save for Sejol. He then shouts, "¡Amén!" in his loud voice, and then when he leaves, the set gets "raised upwards," in other words, removed by having them get lifted upwards. The song comes to a close. But first, Sejol walks back, before he leaves the stage for good.

Whilst doing so, he fell into the pool.

"OOPS!" he says. "Thank you very much for the change, Mr. Tobacconist." He then swims out, and then changes clothes before retreating to the green-room.

English Translation

Alas, it starts to remind us;
Our ever-growing freedom,
Blessed by God

My land, blessed by him,
We shall always remember it
My homeland, my breath, my dream

My freedom, I forever love
Freedom shall forever be
Protected by God!

There is no God,
But the Lord!
Accept Jesus as your saviour,
Because he gives you freedom

My beautiful land,
Which shall grant me
Freedom!

Freedom and liberty
Luziyca shall forever
protect!

My beautiful breath,
My beautiful home!
My beautiful liberty,
Is there anything more I can ask?

My beautiful free land,
Blessed by my forefathers!

God bless his majestic land
And his home!

The abode of freedom, forever
Shall be protected
By Him

My, my, my hero,
I can not bet on oppression any longer!

My dreams of freedom
Shall always
Come to me!

Come, my freedom,
my sons and daughters
We will found a land!

We found our new nation;
Blessed by God,
And his freedoms!

Trust us, Jesus!

(spoken) Amen.

Marina: And we're back! For those of you just now joining us, I'm Marina de Nantes....
Paul: ....and I'm Paul Venzetti, and we're here in beautiful Monterra, Mediterra, to bring you exclusive coverage of WorldVision 22! This is Zannania's debut at WorldVision, and it looks like our contestant, Marc Grassroot, has made quite an impression.
Marina: We've been taking you through all the acts as they happen, and so far we've had our ups and downs.
Paul: You can say that again! Marina, who, besides Zannania of course, was your favorite performance, and your least favorite performance?
Marina: Hmmm, my favorite so far? I think it's an extremely close race between Phoenigetuzstha and Valcluse. Least favorite.... do I need to answer that?
Paul: Nope, I will never look at sheep the same way again. Well, my personal favorite is probably Sagatagan, followed closely by Polkopia or Albertasby. Least favorite besides the obvious worst is probably Lanos.
Marina: *pumps a fist in the air jokingly* Down with fascism!
Paul: *laughs* Yes, call me a pig if you must.
Marina: Oh I will. Anyway, I think it's time for another act! Who is it, Paul?
Paul: From Costa Fiero, it's Ana Marquez, with La Noche Latina!

COSTA FIERO

Paul: That was actually pretty good, don't you think?
Marina: *gives Paul a look*
Paul: What? I liked it.
Marina: I don't believe you.
Paul: What? I'm not allowed to like a pop song?
Marina: No.
Paul: *rolls eyes, replies sarcastically* Fine, I hated it.
Marina: That's more like it. If you liked Costa Fiero's entry, please text "VOTE" to 22022, or call the number below. You can also feel free to vote on our website, www.zeetv.zan/worldvision-vote.
Paul: But seriously, I liked that song. It had a nice Latin flair that I've really yet to see tonight.
Marina: Whatever. For our next entry, we have Kingsley Bedford's Dimitry Polkilov, singing When Love is Gone.

KINGSLEY BEDFORD

Marina: Well....
Paul: That was terrible.
Marina: Well said. Moving on?
Paul: Yes, with a small reminder that if you disagreed with us, text "VOTE" to 22023, call the number on your screen, or visit our online voting booth. With our next song, it's Outside, from Chenkorya, with Raven!

CHENKORYA

Paul: Oh my god, that was AWESOME!
Marina: I totally agree! This might be my new favorite!
Paul: I usually hate heavy metal, but this song was great, and the lead singer- boy can she sing!
Marina: If this song doesn't get points from us, I will be severely disappointed.
Paul: I could not agree more. If you loved Outside, call the number below, or text "VOTE" to 22024. Be sure to check out our website as well. Oh, it looks like the next act is ready! Want to introduce them, Marina?
Marina: Sure thing, Paul. Here's Ranbo's contestant: Joey Harlem, with Revelation!

RANBO

Marina: Awww, that song made me feel so good inside!
Paul: I hated it.
Marina: *rolls eyes* Of course you did. Well, if you think that Ranbo's song was good, feel free to vote one of three ways: you can text "VOTE" to 22025, call the number on your screen, or go online to www.zeetv.zan/worldvision-vote.
Paul: The next act is coming on stage! Here's Luziyca's act. With the song I Love You Freedom, it's Sejol Varkov!

LUZIYCA

Marina: Um....
Paul: ....I'm not exactly sure....
Marina: .... What that was.
Paul: A national anthem?
Marina: I couldn't really tell, it was in so many languages.
Paul: It was so strange, I couldn't really keep up with it myself.
Marina: So, uh, if you at home are feeling Christian and Luziycan today, call the number on the screen, or vote online. You can also text "VOTE" to 22026.
Paul: Is there a possibility of that getting any points?
Marina: Not a snowball's chance in hell.
Paul: Well, we need to take a commercial break, but when we come back, we'll watch some more contestants vie for your vote, and later in the evening, the votes will be tallied! Stay tuned, Zannania!

Hosted by Nikolai Fernsov

Nikolai: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. This is your host Nikolai Fernsov, broadcasting to you life from the nation of Mediterra! I have a special guest with me to help me with the coverage of the Worldvision contest. She was in the eighth World Hit Festival representing the nation of Polkopia. Here is Anna Petranova!

Anna: Thank you Nikolai, great to be here! I've always loved Mediterra, did you know that Nikolai?

Nikolai: Well, not until now, but I can agree that it's a wonderful country! Now, on to the coverage. First up is the opening act.

Opening Act

Nikolai: Well, I liked it... a lot, actually. Bravo to Oda. She did very well in my opinion, what did you think Anna?

Anna: Yeah, I agree, and I was also very impressed with her dancing while she was singing! It's always such a challenge to dance and sing at the same time, so I give her props on that.

Nikolai: Well said Anna, well said. Up next, we have Lanos with "Another Hole In The Ground, Part 2."

Lanos

Nikolai: Well... erm... an interesting song... but all in all, I didn't like it. Not one bit... What about you Anna?

Anna: Oh.. no, I didn't like it either. I felt like it was too political and not friendly enough, This competition is supposed to promote friendship between nations, right Nikolai?

Nikolai: Right you are Anna. If you were to give any positive feedback about this song, what would it be?

Anna: Actually, I really liked the guitar solo part. Maybe because that was the only part that was not against fascism, but I also really liked the lights during their guitar solo.

Nikolai: Right you are Anna. Anyway, to vote for the song, please text 33000 now to vote for them. Up next we have Phoenigetuzstha - err, I think I said that right... with "Mehr."

Phoenigetuzstha

Nikolai: Well, I liked this entry. It made me feel the need to dance, what about you Anna?

Anna: Eh, I don't know. I'm not much of a fan of dance music, but as far as terrible tance music goes, that wasn't bad at all.

Nikolai: So, are you saying you liked it or not?

Anna: Well, in all honesty, I don't think I liked it too much. Out of a one to ten rating scale, i'd give it a five.

Nikolai: Well, even though your opinion sucks, lets move on. Please text 33001 now to vote for "Mehr." Now, let's move on to to Bloodbath Generation with the song "A Place All My Own."

Bloodbath Generation

Anna: Nikolai, I feel the need to go first on this one. I personally thought that it was way to pitchy. If you're going to have an operatic voice, keep it that way and don't let your voice get too low.

Nikolai: Wow, you really went off on that song. As for me, I didn't like it too much, but I certainly don't think that it'll be in the bottom five.

Anna: Yeah, I agree. Anyway, If you're feeling pitchy, please text 33002 to vote for this entry. Now, the next entry is... oh goodness! The next entry is Polkopia with "What Love?"

Polkopia

Nikolai: Well, I kind of liked it, but I certainly don't think that it'll score very high in the competition.

Anna: Yeah, it was alright, nothing special. Certainly not one of Polkopia's better entries.

Nikolai: I agree. You were much better in the last World Hit Festival than this girl.

Anna: Aww, Nikolai, I'm blushing... just kidding. Anyway, what's the number to vote?

Nikolai: Oh, sorry, I almost forgot. The number to text to vote is 33003. Now, the next entry is from Lymantatia with their entry, "Bonjour."

Lymantatia

Nikolai: Nope... no no no no no. I did not like it, not one bit. What about you Anna?

Anna: Bonjour, Bonjour, Bonjour, Bonjour, ahh! It's stuck in my head! Get it out!

Nikolai: Oh dear. Poor Anna. Anyway, text 33004 to vote for this entry, but please for heaven's sake, do not let it get stuck in your head like poor Anna here.

Sagatagan

Nikolai: I liked it. I didn't understand half of the names used, but I'm guessing that they were referring to some aspects of Sagatagan culture, and that's exactly what we'rel looking for!

Anna: Yeah, the whole cultural thing is great, but I didn't believe it was a good song. The performance was great, but the song itself wasn't good.

Nikolai: Anna, have you even said one positive thing about any of the songs here?

Anna: Well, I think I said something good about Bloodbath Generation's song... but other than that, probably not. But I am thankful that this song got the last song out of my head.

Nikolai: Oh, Anna... you're more of a critic than I am. Anyway, to vote for this song, please text 33005 now. Now we move on to Deblinian Masovia's entry.

Deblinian Masovia

Anna: Wow, I love the use of two languages here. Polish is such a nice language in my opinion. The song was also very nice. I think this might have been my favorite entry so far, what do you think?

Nikolai: Oh, yeah I liked the song and all, but is it one of my favorites? No.

Anna: But Nikolai! You didn't appreciate the use of two languages in the song?

Nikolai: No, and to be fair, you didn't like Lymantatia's entry, which had four languages I believe.

Anna: ...

Nikolai: That's what I thought. Now, text the number 33006 now to vote. Now, we're going to take a short break. Please stay tuned for more information about the Worldvision competition!

When they fled,
I was just being me!!

Mae bob amser yn rhywbeth,

Noone i ofalu i mi,
Felly rwy'n dysgu sut i fod yn annibynnol,

当他们逃离,
我在月亮嚎叫,
当他们逃离,
我只是做我自己!!
当所有逃离!

爱情我们的爱我喜欢它。

Full english version:

Me by my self,

When they fled,
I was howling at the moon,
When they fled,
I was just being me!!
WHEN all had FLED!!!!

WHEN all had FLED!

Night fall so quiet,
Not knowing whats next,
Feeling fear,
Somthing I dont usually do!
Just being me,
It dose not work.
Noone really wants me,
A lone fur.

When they fled,
I was howling at the moon,
When they fled,
I was just being me!!
WHEN all had FLED!

Too much light in th day,
Too dark at night.
There's always something,
Wrong with my life.
Noone to care for me,
So I learnt how to be independent,
Stand by myself.

When they fled,
I was howling at the moon,
When they fled,
I was just being me!!
WHEN all had FLED!

Time to go big,
Stop hanging on the streets.
Step up to the stade,
Start to sing,
The love
We love it
I love it.
The world love it,
World vision love it.

When they fled,
I was howling at the moon,
When they fled,
I was just being me!!
WHEN all had FLED!

When all had fled, oh oh.
When all had,
fled.

Tune.
The tune is a mix of the songs Don't wake me up, by Chris Brown and Pon de Replay, by Riannah.

Dance
The dance is a great street dance rutine to the tune of the song. About 20 dancers danced with Jakmar Duraswo.

QBC-The Official Quebecois Coverage of WV22(3)

Corneille: Hello. And welcome back to the QBC's 22nd WorldVision Song Contest! We're live, here on Monterra, Mediterra!
Diane: And now, here's the host country's turn to perform! Ladies and Gentlemen......Mediterra!

Mediterra: Drum of Love

Corneille: (dancing along the Instrumental, finishing with a Pirouette) Can you hear the beat? The drum of Love! And that was Drum of Love by Sasha Whiner!
Diane: Was the song that good to you,Corneille?
Corneille: This is my new favourite! Not lyrics, but the music, dance and the background..... Fitted the song perfectly. A very good piece for Ballroom and Nightclubs.
Corneille: Actually, yeah. If only having Instrumental, you could dance along to the rhythm( he takes her hand, did a Tango, nearly kissed her)
Diane: Corneille(cheerfully smiles at him)! I think the lyrics were too childish. Any 6 year old could write that.
Corneille:Regardless, They did the marvelous job on the stage, in front of a massive crowd, sang and performed perfectly.
If you feel like you want to dance along the song or perform this in front of your lover, send 1108 on SMS or vote 'MEDITERRA' on http://www.qbc.que/WorldVision.
Diane: Well. It's time for next act to go! Here's.... Redaya!

Redaya- Stone-hearted

Diane: And that was Stone-hearted by Usak Itibar.
Corneille: That was little bit.... dull. I think it would've been better if he had a cool, contemporary solo dancing. Also, his red-checked shirt didn't fit the performance
Diane: On the other hand, I thought that the music were fresh and could be played in nightclubs. But,as you could see, the lyrics weren't appropriate for this kind of music! I think that's why. Also, Usak's Vocals didn't fit the music. That's what ruined this song.
Corneille: If you really wants to vote for this song, send 1109 to us on SMS or vote 'REDAYA' on our website. Diane, who's the next?
Diane: Well. Madames et Monsieurs..... Folkland!

Folkland-Renaissance

Corneille: And that was Renaissance by Anesimandr! How was it,Diane?
Diane: I think like what did I say with Redaya, lyrics didn't fit the music. It was way(emphasising on the word 'way') too serious. However, it was a lively piece of music that we could often find it on rural areas. That will give them many votes from rural provinces, especially from Abitibi,Nord-ouest, Newfoundland and Labrador. I strongly doubt that it will be popular to juries though.
Corneille: I think its cheerful energy have made it distinct and special.
Diane: And if you felt cheerful by listening to this song, please send 1110 on SMS or vote 'FOLKLAND' on,
Corneille: http://www.qbc.que/WorldVision. Now, here's DIVA from Vacluse. What will these ladies show tonight?
Diane: Well. We'll have to see. Vacluse!

Vacluse-On My Own

Diane:..... What was that?
Corneille: I'm not sure,Diane. They were fine, but it weren't particularly unique nor standing out of what we had so far tonight. In addition, their vocal timbres(tones) were similar.
Diane: It was overly poppy. It lacked harmony, they screamed too much, especially when they were singing altogether at same time. Their singing abilities were fine but I simply detested the lyrics! Like one of other broadcasters have said, the lyrics were pretty much about how much they want to have fun!
Corneille: I'm afraid at least 500,000 teenage boys nationwide are going to kill you soon. I think they were great! But,I didn't like the idea of flanks. They made one particularly standing out but the other three's extents in stage as small as an earthworm. Also, it would've
Diane: (increase her volume) Despite that this will be popular to many teenagers, this was a piece of ****......
Corneille: Diane! Lots of kids are watching. I think we better go to the next song. So, if you felt that these Divas deserve to win, please send 1111 on SMS or just vote 'VACLUSE' on our website.
Diane: And now, we have.....(drums rolling) Dragion!

Dragion-Toxic Funland

Diane: And here was Toxic Funland by Iron Monkeys!
Corneille: Woah. This music blew my head up ! Their one was unique and I loved it!
Diane: Like many entries we had tonight, lyrics didn't fit the background music and in fact, was horrible.
Corneille: Their background could've been better. Yet, no one knows what our televoters are going to think about it.
Diane:And If you want to inhabit in Toxic Funland, please vote 1112 on SMS or vote 'DRAGION' on our website!
Corneille: So, the next performance is from Kingston Langley!

Kington Langley-Getting there

Diane: And that was Getting there by Allania.
Corneille: Woah. That's simply a musical masterpiece, I would like to say. It was brilliant song.
Diane: I think the lyrics was so sweet and were really good. This is surely my favourite!
Corneille: I think this will get at least decent amount of votes from both the juries and televoters.
Diane: If you felt like you're getting there(to the musical heaven), vote 1113 on SMS or vote 'KINGTON LANGLEY' on http://www.qbc.que/WorldVision!!!
Corneille: And now, we're going to take a short break. Stay tuned, ladies and gentlemen!

Calimeran Coverage of the WorldVision 22

Cristina: Hello everyone! We are reporting life from Mediterra!
Santiago: And wow, what a nice country is this! I'm sure this contest will boost their Tourism. I think I might stay here for my holidays!
Cristina: Well, let's see which country is next to perform, do you know it Santi?
Santiago: Yes Cristina, up next Deblinian Masovia will perform to us. They will sing in two languages, Polish, and English. This year polish is quite a popular language, isn't it Cristin?
Cristina: Yes it is. It's quite a sweet language actually! Well, here is Masovia!R

Deblinian Masovia
Cristina: A decent song.
Santiago: Well kinda' normal. I've not any bad words about it, but it wasn't great either.
Cristina: If you are in a multinational mood, you can vote for them!
Santiago: But I must add that it was better than that BONJOU BONJOUR song!
Cristina: Stop it Santi! I want to think about good music!
Santiago: OK, the next entry is from the host Mediterra! It's incredible people, the ground it shaking, because people are so excited that their country will perform now! Here is Mediterra, enjoy!

Mediterra
Santiago: I kinda' liked it!
Cristina: Yes it was, kinda' catchy aswell!
Santiago: The lyrics didn't make sense all the time, but who cares! It's about the music! And that was fine.
Cristina: Aaaaaaaaand the next participant is Redaya!
Santiago: haha! But first it's commercial time.. Sadly enough..
