At the capital of the former Danzig State, Danzig (Luziycan and Swedish: Danzig), at the Cathedral of Saint Anthony (Luziycan: Kathedral i Sant Antony, Swedish: Katedralen i Sanktt Anthony), the Archbishop of the Danzig Diocese, Theshov Labortov, appointed in 1975 by Pope Derghun of the Lutheran Catholic Church was at the atrium.

The flagpoles of Hippostania, Legokiller, Ainin, ArghNeedAName and Lanos were raised, and in front, a bench, draped in their national flag, on a carpet resembling the coat of arms of the nations. Another bench that was plain was to be used, to represent the Luziycans. It had no flagpole, and no flag was draped, to symbolize its defeat.

Theshov had to inspect, to get it right, lest there was an error. Afterwards, he then left the building.

By then, a member of the Sijou family that stayed behind in the East when the family was virtually split in 1935, those in the West moving to Iglesiantis when the war began, born in 1936, born to her mother, and the father who she never saw, Karin Sijou.

Karin Sijou was 76 years old, and in 1968, when she worked for the radio service, she sympathized with the protestors, and was imprisoned for 25 years for communist activities, but was granted parole in 1982. The following year, on March 17, 1983, she was arrested for violating decency laws, and sentenced to a year and a day in prison. This was one, probably fucktons more, of the several conference calls about the future of Luziyca. It was agreed upon the Lanosian commander there of all the armed forces in that nation would have command of the occupation zone the Lanosians had control of, as long as the rules of war and such were obeyed. Did he have command of all the occupation forces there? That would be debated later. For now, the Lanosians had about 500k total occupiers there to fulfill the obligations of occupying that nation until it could exist without pulling more shit like they did the last time. Then again came the discussion where the conferences were to be held and the trial...

It came to the Lanosians that the locals wanted to hold it in Danzig. Yes that town...it's under our zone but did we authorize a fucking church? No...who had that idea? Wasn't AFCL for sure. Not even the local Army commander said so. SAC? Nope. Then who the fuck did? Someone there? Some bishop...idk why he did. Really...is there anywhere else other than a house of worship? I guess we could hold it in a mosque... Come on. A church isn't acceptable. Imagine the Hippostanians finding about this shit. Marina, listening in on this whole debate, had enough of the idea of holding it there. First, Legokiller wasn't a part of all this so exclude them immediately. Second, clear this church and make it clear we aren't holding it there. Period. I'm sure Jesus Himself wouldn't approve holding such a discussion there. Objections? Tell them to... She shooed the pony out of the plane's office. ...to fuck off. The Independent Nation is not going to do any of that. Find another place and make sure it's not going to offend anyone or be a sacrilege. Now get to it.

At the (now-rejected) conference area

A company of Lanosian soldiers in battle gear went into the church to make sure this whole idea wasn't going to happen. They found the person in charge and they make it clear people would be detained if they didn't obey. We're here to tell you two things. 1. The Legokiller delegates will have to return to their temporary residences until further orders. 2. We are not holding this conference here. Company, move out and secure the area and make sure these directives are enforced.

The Bishop explained, "Well, under my understanding, the mayor has authorized that the conference be held at the church. Trust me, Luziyca had committed a sin, as a nation, but this is a cleansing process, to cleanse it from eternal sin, so that it could rightfully be the shining sun that Jesus granted it to be. This is meant to be a covenant, between the Lord, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one that ties everyone to God, so that Luziyca shall be granted salvation. It is God's promised land, and one day, it shall be the rightful land of Jesus."

He then frowned.

"You may police the area, but the Mayor decides it will be held here at this Cathedral, it shall be held at this Cathedral. Sure, Hippostania may hate God, but it did not deter our ties from the 1990s to 2012 when they deteriorated to the point of an embargo and transfer of Keshudi which we gave this past November. He has blessed this land, he must personally salvage it. Thus, I request that it take place here. And if you want proof, here it is."

He then gave a copy of the decree that declared that the Conference and Trial be held at the Cathedral of Saint Anthony to the head of the company.

By the time the bishop said this, an Army major walked in to gauge why hasn't the place been cleared of this meeting that wasn't happening here. He walked in with his battle gear on but he had only a M21 pistol to protect himself while his staff did the real armed guard work. The major was not impressed that military occupation authorities were upstaged by, what they considered, an illegal government that thinks it was still in power. He was here to set that straight.

Your mayor is no longer in charge. That piece of paper you have is invalid. The occupation zone we control is under military law until an acceptable civilian government can be set up and it would appear all that would be worked out after we do this conference upon which you insist will be held here. The Lanosians are in charge, not your "mayor." He took a good hard look before making his order. We are using the city hall to do the conference. Speaking of which, tell battalion to clear that out too and set up the local HQ nearby. This company will stay here to make sure no conference is to be held here. Move out and get to work. The major left and the company that came here went to work making sure this order was obeyed to the letter. And, if needed, they had the authority to arrest people for breaking the law (which copies of it were plentifully posted across the occupation zone). Nothing stupid was going to happen here.

Danzig City Hall

The real work of making this building the conference area was underway. The remainder of the battalion was setting up security as well as clearing out the building of non-essential staff to ensure nothing funny would happen. This included the former mayor that tried to usurp military authorities. A squad of soldiers burst into his office to inform him of his sudden unemployment. You sir are no longer the mayor of this city. Please pack up your belongings and leave within 24 hours. The rest of the building is doing the same.

It was free and fair because the Electoral Commission of Luziyca claimed there were no irregularities whatsoever. Thus, I am playing the world's smallest violin to you. Look, the Federal Government may be deposed, but the state, municipal and county governments still are continuing their authority over their people, and I am doing the same. We are in charge of the civilians, you are in charge of keeping Luziyca stable. These roles are MEANT to be separated."

With that, he then called Security, and promptly, Luziycan security listened to him. They then told the soldiers to leave, saying EXACTLY the same thing the Mayor said from the "Look, the Federal Government may be deposed..."

Attempting to tell the soldiers that their legal authority to do occupation duty was illegal? Please...who won the war and who was doing scenes like this across the nation? The 8-man squad that was being told off did just exactly what to do if they expected resistance: arrest and detain the security team at gunpoint. They quickly subdued the team and quickly pointed their guns at the former mayor. Did that have to happen? Do as we said or 24 hours later, we'll be evicting you forcefully. The zone is under Lanosian military occupation rule. Do what we said, now. Scenes like this, more or less without resistance, were taking place across the Lanos occupation zone (maybe elsewhere) and things were proceeding for a successful occupation and leaving behind (if the leaving part was at all possible) a democratic, non-threatening Luziyca. The process had to come slowly and deliberately and, after this conference, work towards implementing the final goal. Eventually when the conference was held, the goals would be known and written down.

"Get lost," he said. "Fellows, follow me." The councilpersons would follow the mayor to the paternoster, linking the basement with the first, second and third floors. Out of 16 people, a mayor, and 15 councilpersons, 2 could fit in the 10 elevators. Thus, 8 of the 10 elevators of the paternoster hid in the paternoster, remaining silent. Before the Mayor stepped on, he shouted, "GET LOST, YOU BLOODY COMMIES!"

Upon reaching the third floor, they dashed to a storage room. When they opened, it turned out it was the archives, dating all the way back to when the former Palace was built, in 1635. The door was locked and then they hid silently, behind a safe...

The reason was a Boeing 777 (ironically the same kind of jet Luzyica crashed into Ainin last month) flying overhead. It was not any jet. It was Executive One (codename BCB) carrying Vice-President Katherine Raspberry and Ministers of Defence Jean Reland and of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Diplomatic Relations Jimmy Dolls. The jet then landed in Danzig, Luziyca and the three diplomats got into a motorcade. Then then headed to the city hall for the meeting. Katherine steps out of the car, followed closely by Ministers Dolls and Reland, and enters the building.

The Lanosian major came into the main atrium of the building, saluted the delegates (except the Luziycan representative which shouldn't be here), and said Welcome to the Danzig City Hall and the future site of the conference. We apologize for the mess since we are still in the process of clearing out the building of Luziycans and readying it for the conference which will be done around...*glances at clipboard* tomorrow. I do that that the Luziycan please leave since, as far as I've been told, no Luziycans will be represented at this conference. Immediately, his radio buzzed that they found the archive room and that they were unable to access a safe in the room. The major grumbled. Are you sure you're using the codes right? Yes, sir, but hell. If there's anyone in there, they got it locked- Fucking...ok. Get them out somehow and lock them up for the shit they'll be causing. I'll drag the engineers from the division support battalions to do the cutting. With that, the major stormed out of the atrium and was suddenly replaced by the commanding general of the 22st Infantry Division, 22nd Army. (OOC: If anyone cares to wonder, there's 500k Lanosian servicemen in Luziyca) The general did the same saluting and greeted the delegations.

As a result, Karin said, "I am a pro-democracy activist. I represent the people, but if you want them to become slaves and all of you stealing the property and selling them to your people, to your asses, I am cool too," in a very sarcastic tone of voice. Karin then left the room.

The mayor refused, claiming if they let them out for air, the commies would arrest ALL of them. Thus, the safe was hot inside and some were coughing. The „Aredhel Alcedina“ battlegroup, having replaced the 2nd Guards Infantry Division on a tour of duty, was stationed in Danzig the past few days was assigned with helping the Lanosians with restoring public order and, seemingly enforce the military occupation against a huge lot of idiotic Luziycans who randomly accused them with being communists, Luziycans who had their heads so deep in the sand that it'd require a crane to take them out, and Luziycans who by fiat ignored the authority of the occupiers. It would change today, on the command of the Colonel-Brigadier Commanding, Colonel-Brigadier Alexander Horst Edler von Kaltenau, the entire battlegroup was deployed out on the streets, the two Grenadier companies of the Aredhel Alcedina Regiment having been armed with live rounds, and the rest of the battlegroup with tear gas canisters, all dressed in full battle uniform, with huge riot shields raised in front of them. Their objective was to disperse the rabble of Luziycans that was bound to show up at the Cathedral of Saint Anthony for the presumed meeting that their idiotic mayor must've told everyone about, then rally at the Danzig City Hall, forming an iron ring around it, expecting a lot of angry and pissed off and plain moronic Luziycans wanting to burn them as commies.

The Carrier then immediately burst into activity. Two AH-64 Apaches were put on standby and 7 F-35s were put on 5-minute alert while crews contacted Executive One, at Danzig International Airport, to prepare for a possible rushed departure.

The 22nd Infantry Division's engineers arrived to crack the safe as well as a platoon of pissed off Lanosian soldiers having to crack this bullshit of a safe because some bullshit rabble thought they were "teh ebil commiez!1!" Didn't most of the occupation zone think that way? Finding the sane residents to lead the place would take time...if there were any at all. The Lanosians now had the task of breaching the damn thing and getting the occupants out of that hellhole it had now become at this point. Don't make us blow a hole in the door. Please come out. You will not be harmed. Come out. They're alive in there but it must be hot as fuck. The Lanosians waited until they felt there was nothing else to do. So... The engineers rigged enough C4 to open the safe door (without harming what's inside) and then set it off. The safe door complied with the force of the C4 and it opened with the engineers and the soldiers drawing out the occupants. Yelling would have to do. OUT OUT OUT. GET ON THE GROUND AND OUTSTRETCH YOUR HANDS NOW. Either they came out or they were forced out. Take your choice. Aside from this damn sideshow, the rest of the building was clear. Now the Lanosians had to set up defensive positions to keep shit from going down outside. A whole brigade was up for the task now. To reinforce this, the division's combat aviation brigade and fires battalion would help. And the Air Force. Fuck, have the Marines ready?

The general was able to verify the good news. Good news. The safe is now open and they're handling the stay-behinds. Also security here will be extremely tight. Nothing funny will be tolerated...
