Actually, no. If we were really to film a movie, then the majority of The Collective wouldn't so closely resemble Zeta. Remember, their not all exact clones of him. The Theta class only has 50 Percent of his DNA.

So it would be with the collective, this would allow them to use extras, and save Ian Mckellan from a near lethal amount of work. It would also be cheaper.
