Powers: Superhuman Mentality - Astral Projection - Ecological Empathy - Psionic Blasts
Description of Powers:

Fletcher's mind is a powerful one. Although if you can incapacitate his mind, save for his limited knowledge in boxing he is virtually useless.

Fletcher's mind is superhuman. He has the ability to have an intelligence quotient far above that of a genius level. This ability can be so evolved that it's user can gain psychic abilities (psychokinesis, telepathy, etc.) and resist both mind control and other psionic attacks. Fletcher is still considered immature concerning this power. Fletcher can astral project also known as astral travel, this is the ability to separate and control his own astral body. Fletcher has the ability to sense the overall well-being and conditions of his immediate environment and natural setting stemming from a psychic sensitivity to nature. Lastly, Fletcher has the ability to overload another's mind causing pain, memory loss, lack of consciousness, vegetative state or death after having created a psionic link into that individual's mind. However, Psionic Blasts physically weaken Fletcher immensely. He grows one white hair for every psionic blast.

Abilities: Limited boxing knowledge, Exceptional Orator

Weaknesses: Physical Strength, Weakness for women, extremely cocky

Short Biography:

Fletcher was born into poverty and ignorance. After he was born, his parents seemingly abandoned him and disappeared. He ran away from his foster home at the age of 11. He bounced from soup kitchen to soup kitchen until he was around fourteen years old. In that time he had attended school and graduated from his high school a valedictorian with honors. He was the first to graduate without the state required amount of credits. He was given a Rhodes Scholarship.

It was during these 6 years at Oxford that he discovered his powers since then he has actively used them to further his interests and those he trusts. At the start of the war he was last known to be chairman of a think-tank in Ontario. It should also be mentioned that his first Psionic Blast resulted in an airplane crash, both pilots were found by flight records to have gone unconscious in the cockpit.

Your example will be your character in a scenario. It must be three paragraphs or longer. The scenario:

It is a quiet wednesday evening as you are on your way to catch up with a close friend of yours at a local Chinese restaurant, when you suddenly experience an utterly crushing feeling of impending doom coursing through your very existance. A horrifying voice speaks to you from within the depths of your soul, and whether by instinct or because of something else entirely, you realize that some sort of malevolent entity has invaded your mind, and is turning your own thoughts and indeed your own self against yourself. You slowly but surely feel yourself losing control, and you have to fight just to remain conscious.

As I walked down the street the entity began to torture me mentally. Those around me stepped out of my way as I stumbled up the cobbled street to the restaurant. I clutched my head for relief to find that there was none. I had to do something or this darkness would consume me. I closed my eyes and and using all I had projected my astral body to observe myself, trying to see what or who was attacking me. In my horror I saw my mortal body being enveloped in an heavily obscured darkness. As soon as I returned to my own body a searing pain cut through my brain like a knife through butter. Incoherent images flashed in my head as I struggled to stay conscious.

I struggled to maintain a mental battle with the entity as it's mind was a maelstrom of thoughts, there was nothing in the mind of my attacker that I could hope to latch upon. In my recklessness I had overpowered the weak minds of those around, bodies were dropping like flies as I now crawled my way forward on the street. As a result of my unawareness my powers started to affect passing cars as the spun out of control. The pain in my head grew and grew until I lay in a ball in the middle of the street crying out for help.

In my moment of weakness I had failed to realize that I could fight whatever was mentally destroying me. I closed my eyes one more time. With my mind I targeted the entity itself, with all of my mental power I attempted to overload the malevolent being with pain and thoughts and images. The pain in my head cut deeper until it stopped. I opened my eyes and looked from side to side, letting the wind cool me. I slowly sat up and stood and saw that not one body was moving on both sides of street.
