I guess for many species, being as big and strong as us would be seen as desirable, but sometimes I wish I was smaller; remember how scared I was if how Ganosians would think of me? But regardless, despite what anyone thinks, I would rather be myself than anyone else."
"You shouldn't ever feel the need to change to fit someone else's tastes. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for whom I'm not, myself. People who are that narcissistic must have minds the sizes of Kib, figuratively speaking."
When the meals comes, they were delivered by none other than Prince Mahks, Fyrah's older brother and the de facto leader of Auram. "Like the fish? My wife manages the aquarium in my casino. Have you had the chance to do a bit of gaming here? Considering you are with my sister and all, I can offer some gold tokens for you to use..."
"Ah, Mahks, you're a waiter now? Well, fetch my kobold friend here a drink, won't you?" the Ganosian prince chuckled, obviously joking around. "Why yes, we've done some gaming, the three of us. Much fun was had, and I've learned quite a bit about kobolds as well, which should come in handy some day."
Fyrah sighed, "Naturally, my brother is still a businessman, and he naturally plans for us to buy even more. From what I gather, you can win money in casinos in other lands if you are lucky? Here, you instead can purchase items and trinkets and the like if you win enough tokens. Considering the money helps go towards improving the city, I suppose it would be bad if they had to use their money just because someone got lucky..."
"What sort of items and trinkets? I doubt you'd find any luxury sports cars, though, but Kib could use a little buggie, I'm sure. Vroom vroom, right?" He replied, with another chuckle, ribbing her gently while smiling at Kib.
