Crescent Bay, Yue Empire

Senior Representative Marcus Brachetto sipped a cup of coffee as he lounged on a modular couch within a diplomatic-model Hammer-II Aerospace Transport Corvette. Unfortunately, to his disappointment and frustration, he was required to take escorts with him; considering that the first summit of the Dragon's Fury Pact of Sovereign Nations resulted in the death of Senior Representative Karl Negoska, the second resulted in the near death of both the TurtleShroomian High Regent Sim Young and now-Senior Representative Blue Belle, and the third resulted in a firefight between the TurtleShroomians and the Herd delegation, the YellowApple Department of International Relations was half-expecting Marcus to be in mortal danger yet again, and given his old age this time around, the Department wasn't taking any chances. Thus, along with Marcus in the craft were four Aerospace Marines in full combat clad (though well-polished to look presentable), and surrounding the craft itself was a squadron of four Blade-II Aerospace Interceptors; should there be difficulty, at least Marcus would have a fighting chance of getting out of there alive, but he hated the idea of being babied and burdened at once by having so many armed escorts on what should be a peaceful diplomatic mission. Administrator Jonathan Beacon's more iron-fist policies certainly weren't helpful either, nor was Chief Secretary Bastion Yorsets' distractions due to the recent nullification of his marriage. Having to take along an intern - Miss Mai Ancellotta - as a personal assistant didn't make this any more fun for him.

The transport began to slow suddenly, breaking Marcus' internal ranting about the whole scenario. Within moments, the craft was already landing, the individual landing skids extending and eventually resting on the snow-covered ground. The doors opened to reveal below-freezing temperatures, upon which Marcus donned both his suit's jacket and a thick thermal coat, sliding his arms into both before slipping on a pair of insulated gloves and walking out the door with his briefcase. Mai followed, shivering quite a bit - she packed fashionably rather than usefully, with a jacket that barely remained above freezing inside - with her own briefcase. Behind her were the four Marines.

After negotiating with customs extensively about having armed escorts - and dealing with the locals' apparent hatred of anything more evolved than medieval ballistas, so it seemed, including having to pay fines and taxes for bringing in even basic tablet computers, let alone the state-of-the-art firearms possessed by the Marines - the six personnel continued on. Marcus now had yet another reminder for why he hated armed escorts - they cause so many more problems and expenses for everyone involved - though, considering how incredibly out-of-date even the military presence was here - no firearms whatsoever, let alone defenses against even the least-competent of modern armies - he was at least appreciative that he'd have some additional protection if things did get out of hand. His transport and its escorts, in the meantime, remained in the air, the transport returning to an aerospace carrier outside of Yue airspace while the four interceptors maintained a subsonic patrol route around the harbor, maintaining enough distance to remain unnoticed while being close enough to sweep in and handle a threat should one arise.

This meeting was already becoming a major pain in the rear. Granted, that's not saying much for a now-disillusioned old man having to pander to foreigners, but it was still a record; the prior summits weren't an issue this early on.

"I'd be careful with the way you phrase words, Madara. For you're talking to a capitalist." Smith laughed, "All political rivalries aside, the chances of Comrade Commisar being reunited is very, very slim. Imperial Decree 2073 has satisfied most groups with the great divide within our former nation. The Tsao are beginning rearmament, unaffected by past treaties; the Yue are expanding towards the North, unthreatened by the Tsao; The Kheks are most certainly enjoying not being bothered by either party; and as for Asahina, it's capitalist society has brought it many good things. I doubt Comrade Commisar will ever be reunited, perhaps in two centuries or so, but not in these times of bustle and boom."

"As for your ordinance, such would probably best go to the Tsao, even though I hesitate to say so." Smith said, pointing to his Tsao ally, "They are the closest nation to the former Stratocracy of Comrade Commisar, and boasts Communist elements, much like yourself. With their increasing production capability and their lack of caring for past Nuclear Treaties, they are the best choice to hold your Nuclear Arsenal. Now, Mister Eagles would personally have me hung if he caught me saying such things, but I feel that in the political world, I feel that one can discard politic agendas for common interest."

"Now, the Yue possess something called the Imperial Archives, a collection of many million scrolls on every subject, from many different viewpoints. Being within the North Lands, their archives have been preserved for centuries, with many copies being created in the events of fire or water damage. That is where you should store your blueprints, free-of-charge." Smith stated as he looked at the Emperor, "As for Yushuu, I'd be incredibly wary of such a duel. Corporate men do not do anything without thinking that they have an advantage before hand, and with Yushuu's unpredictability, this is very much so."

The young tengu Ai, walked towards the Japanese Representatives, attempting to enforce Yue policy in vain, seeing as an eight year old no taller than a young child was not very intimidating. Running around, the young Ai eventually heard more envoys at the gates of the Shrine and quickly made her way to greet the honored guests.

"Welcome to the Imperial Shrine of Cre--" Ai stared at the mammoth Preliators, who easily out-towered the small tengu. Letting themselves in, a customs official walked up towards the white-haired assistant and handed her a scroll of the multiple violations of the Greater Pony Herd Representatives which totaled many Yue Gold Coins. Just as she closed the wooden gate, another envoy was heard outside.

Opening the door once more, Ai hesitantly smiled as she greeted yet another guest.
"Welcome to the Imperial Shrine of Cre--" Another pause as she stated at a relatively senior man, young woman and four heavily armed men. Sighing, she allowed the YellowApplan representatives inside while another customs official placed yet another scroll within the young tengu's hand. Closing the wooden gate once more, Ai sighed as she walked back towards the meeting room.

'They're going to make a mess of my Shrine...' She muttered as she sat against High Priestess Lang, exhausted from dealing with the multiple guests at the Summit.
A complete mess of a nation known in-character as the 'North Lands'; populated by pious priestesses, wandering mercenaries, violent bandits, and various internal power struggles. Be careful of who you deal with.

Basically, a decentralized feudalistic society ranging anywhere between medieval and interwar.

Samuel turned to see the Urmanian pony enter the Shrine. He immediately glared at the horse with a look of sacreligious hatred, as if he wanted to take the pony in his brown hands and rip its neck off. He would have tried, but he was too old and weak to get up and tackle the Urmanian horse.

"YOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUU. YOU JUST HAD TO GET YA'LL FEW-CHUH TECH GOONS OUT TA KILL US! IF YOU JUST'A SIGNED THE ARM-UH-STISS AND GOT IT ALL SAID AND DONE WE WOULDN'T BE THIS CLOSE TA DEATH!"

With no other means to attack, the elderly Asian just shook his fist.

"Every one, one of the Urmanians should find 'emselves six feet unduh! Yer See-Tans are about to kill our entire country, even after we returned your dispicable kind down to the last one! If ya'll have any... tolerance or anythin' at all, just..."

He broke down in sobs.

"Don't..... kill us.... I just heard word they're conscriptin'."

Azure Rhapsody smiled lightly at the tengu with a small blush.

"The Herd will wire the money for customs violations, of course." - she said. - "We did not know you did not allow helicopters, and I am personally sorry for any inconvenieces."

The unicorn then turned her head to Samuel, tilting it in confusion, watching the elderly TurtleShroomer's outburst.

"We are not here to kill, I think I've stated quite clearly that I am here to discuss peace terms, among other things." - she said and rummaged in her purse before taking out two lemon candies, putting one in her mouth and offering one to the younger TurtleShroomer. - "Both we and C'tan think that TurtleShroom is a lost cause. Evil is too deeply ingrained in your people's hearts, to the point that they would take up arms and risk their lives for their right to oppress and be oppressed. Yet, you are not evil enough for the Necrontyr Empire to completely exterminate TurtleShroom, in fact I've heard C'tani lament about that TurtleShroom is almost free - almost, but it still allows gross injustices and crimes against sapientkind to be perpetrated within itself, and that is why the Necrontyr forces are still on your soil, desperately attempting to put your people, lost sheep as you would put it on a right path."

Azure leaned back in her seat again and brushed a lock of her mane behind her ear before again looking over the other delegates.

"My apologies for this little interruption. What was the topic of discussion as of my entrance?"

Samuel sighed deeply.

"The right of private enterprise ta hire n' fire anythin' they want for any reason, ta deny or allow service to anythin' they want for any reason... these are not oppressions, but enshrined freedoms of lah-zeez-fay-uh capitalism. To allow the private sector ta do as they wish is considered a tenant of freedom in my country. Only the Invisible Hand of the Free Market will decide what will kill a company. If enough people boycott somethin' for discriminatin', it'd take it down as good as any arbitrary, utopian enforcement of what a judge thinks is a civil rights violation."

He shook his head.

"If ya'lls' problem is that our companies n' society segregates n' integrates themselves at their will for any reason what-so-evah, that's not only a stupid casus belli, but somethin' we see as asanine to combat. Businesses lobbied long n' hard to stop the tyranny of the 1960s hippies from poisonin' us. We were one of the few nations of the world to emerge from the Countercultural Revolution of the sixties, and the Sexual Revolution of the nineties, totally unmolested. Our Yue friends here made it out, too, but most folks didn't. We are forever grateful for that and will not change our beliefs on it."

He paused.

"If ya'll are talkin' 'bout John Raven Codes, that's somethin' else entirely. You'd best talk 'bout it elsewhere, 'cause its subject is inappropriate for discussion in a Shrine. It would be devastatin' to talk 'bout it before our Yue hosts 'cause of what the Codes are directed at. -but ta learn a bit more. The codes are named after John Raven. He has never held office, but he is considered one of the most powerful humans in the country. His Anti-Abomination pledge has metaphorically bought the souls of most of our municipal mayuhs n' councilmen, and they are rigidly enforced like iron. Since the See-Tan invasion, the John Raven Codes have been galvanized, and they are expandin' rapidly. John Raven himself has stated that these invasions are proof that his Code is needed, and it is almost universally agreed that the John Raven Codes will become the law of the land, in all of TurtleShroom, universally."

Again, Samuel sighed.

"Our nation doesn't want to fight a war we can't win. The Ultimatum is following an age-old Biblical principle of warning a man twice before striking. Our first warnin' was the Ultimatum. Our second warnin' was that we'd try n' convene one last peace conference with your blackhearted nation and with the See-Tan. We'd propose the original Armistice again, and if it gets rejected, we'd spend the next forty eight hours cobbling some sort of shaky peace to get them armies out... -and if all fails... we'd enact the Crusade."

He shivered.

"I fear my nation is about to end."

Azure Rhapsody raised her hoof, gesturing for Samuel to stop.

"You know what I am talking about, and know it well. Oppression of non-straight people, people who choose to engage in non-conventional sexual acts, people who do not belong to human, turtle or mushroom species, people who practice magic and wizardry, people who dress 'improperly' et cetera et cetera. Punitive psychiatry, too. This all is carried out by state, not private enterprise. And far from being an asinine casus belli, those are all crimes against sapientkind." - the mare said. - "But we will talk about this after. Please, esteemed delegates, carry on with your discussion."

[Out-of-Character: I know some of you in character will not take too kindly to the confusing arrays of disputes, moreover the near emergence of a fight in the summit, however you may ignore them for the most part then proceed to answer adar's question at the end of it all instead. This is just mostly to show how angered, as well as tempered some of my people in character have become due to the current unfortunate circumstances that have befallen our nation.]
The Senior Cloistered Comrade People's Emperor Yamato/Tokugawa-Qianglong Uchiha no Yamato Ren/Yuan Zong Huangdi (this being his entire name), looked at Azure Rhapsody then turned back to the Eagles CEO. "I am afraid Yushuu Iroshi is not the corporate men you are accustomed to. His father at least could qualify, however even he fell into a trap arranged by yours truly in Asahina. He died thinking he went to discuss a bargain! Ha, Iroshi might be just as stupid as his father. After all, he is no where as strong as I am, nor is any other warrior in any place what-so-ever. I could easily fight Iroshi in a challenge. Additionally, in our culture, fighting for one's honour is extremely important, therefore, combined with the hatred blinding both governments, a duel is taken seriously by both parties without intentions of bringing outside help. Iroshi will hold his word, I will hold mine. In the end however, I shall march into Izanagi-gakure with Iroshi's head lumping off a spearhead, its blood dripping off the side. I am going to accomplish this!" the pompous multi-background-yet-mainly-Japanese dictator said as he pointed at the many honours on his chest, before attending to more important matters. "As for storing our nuclear weapons, I will make the arrangements with any Tsao representative here. In addition, I shall also discuss storing our blueprints in that library of yours mentioned that the Imperial Shrine holds." he said before sitting back down, giving a polite welcoming glance at the Great Pony Herd's representatives.

The Senior Cloistered Comrade People's Seii Taishogun Uchiha Madara at the same time also began making additional points. "There is also the question of adopting the Yue Gold Coins as our official currency for some time, not to mention also us sending much people to Comrade Commissar to avoid the nuclear clouds over the Home islands, or those that had been done over Angola where the centre of late Yushuu Ikito's regime once stood. Now, tell me also: are Comrade Commissar's four nations capable of becoming provider of monetary aid to help place our nation back on its feet? Additionally, are any of the four nations willing to send troops to Beijing for the purposes of establishing an allied base of defences in our new capital as a bulwark against future aggression?" Uchiha Madara demanded whilst also looking a one of the young tengu, eyeing them for them to bring food. Secondary-Premier Nguyen Trai Van soon also began requesting for food, whilst the Khmer Kempeitai War Marshal Phirun Vanna Soun began to eye Mrs. Rhapsody in somewhat suspicion, albeit nevertheless coming forth to exchange a friendly greeting. "So it is true. Talking ponies exist. I must be dreaming at the moment. Nevertheless, konnichiwa, moreover most honourable welcome to the Fourth Dragon's Fury Pact Summit. Let us hope this one goes well." he reluctantly held his hand out to shake the pony's...paw.

As for the little discussion between Samuel & Azure, the Cambodian military officer, whom was a former candidate in the 2012 Premier Elections, as well as one of the obvious representatives of the Teikoku, began to interject into the conversation, attempting to make a point of his own. "I agree with you TurtleShroomian leader, Samuel. Non-heterosexual people deserve hard-lined measures thrown down their throats, moreover the same goes for capitalists, fundamentally religious people, in addition to people who wear improper clothing. However, I disagree on the subject about prosecuting magical people, as our Emperor is one himself, moreover we also vehemently oppose punitive psychiatry, unless it is for the sake of maintaining state stability, used for propaganda purposes, used for torturing purposes, re-education, or to force people we know are guilty to confess to their crimes. Concerning non-heterosexual people however, do not get the wrong idea Azure, however while we have the policies in place, we never had to kill them since the Emperor adopted a compassionate programme of allowing all of these 50,000 people in the entire Teikoku to leave with all their belongings to the Ganosian nation where they were welcomed. Also, I enjoy---" he growled as Nguyen Trai Van interrupted him by placing his right hand over his mouth.

"Well, he says what he wants. Part is true, however, concerning this conversation, my conclusion to this argument is that our nation may be brutally ruthless in maintaining state stability, law, order, as well as security. However, we do not always use the iron fisted measure of leadership. Our government, as provided by the Comrade People's Emperor, is also benevolent in addition to being a Father Knows Best State. We use a compassionate, even, fair, equal hand when leading our nation for most of the time. When our hand is forced however we resort to iron fisted ruling. Nevertheless, with a combination of both our state never had to execute a single person, nor had to lock up political dissidents. For the most part the Emperor succeeded, via charisma, to rally everyone to his support during the People's Revolution against Yushuu Ikito's first regime in the 1980s period. Concerning executions or torture, while our state has the most severest, most cruelly brutal, most repressive, as well as most evillest series of punishments for every single crime (even the smallest), we never really had to punish anyone via death penalty, torture, 're-education' in gulags among other strategic concentration centres; nor have we had to resort to mass murder to our own people." Nguyen said as he explained that it is not only because the regime's use of fear made no one dare to cause or stir any trouble...

However the state also uses a strongly effective system of compassionate rulings, in which the Emperor had done his best to improve the socio-economic situation to the extent where people had no reason to commit crime to survive, moreover the Emperor had also made himself into an authoritative fatherly image, or that of a good protecting brother. He approached socio-economic problems with a pragmatic touch, whilst directly went to the people to see what needed to be done to improve the nation's standards of living. He had also, as Nguyen puts it, made the Huangdiist Communist-Socialist military government have an excellent relationship of cooperation, brotherhood/sisterhood, as well as a sense of family with the people, to make them feel more comfortable with their leaders, not to mention also made sure the people felt peace of mind under this government. Corruption as well as oligarchy had been crushed by the Emperor via a series of brutally efficient programmes, moreover the basic rule of the state's authoritarianism in law enforcement is that one must find enough evidence to prove someone to be either guilty or innocent before declaring said person to be either one, whilst encouraged an unbiased, neutral system in maintaining state order...

"Without any corruption, without mistakes, without arresting the wrong people, without causing stirs among the people. We have developed a very benevolent, compassionate, loving, incorruptible, iron fisted regime. Our collective nation has also strived hard to achieve utopianism in socio-economic aspects, not only driving up the standards of living, the human development index, yet also bringing more income equality for everyone, in addition to equality in general for everything, except for non-heterosexuals (although this is currently irrelevant), traitors, defectors, capitalists (dissident capitalists, although we never had to worry about them since the Emperor arranged coastal cities where they could freely practise their 'laissez-faire'), or fundamentalist Protestants, Christians or Catholics in general (although they for the most part have caused little trouble since the Emperor gently approached them to tell them so long as they do not force their religion unto others, as well as respected the state's official stance of being atheist or anti-theist, they could practise their religions in private in their homes). I am done here Azure Rhapsody. Returning to Samuel: We have learned however to compromise with other religions, which is where you are incorrect. In order to maintain a stable nation, the numerous religions or cultures in existence must be compromised with to find common ground with them before implementing radical changes."

Nguyen then went into explaining that besides the Western religion (Christianity, Catholicism, Protestanism, along with all their many other sub-branches, variants, sects, etcetera), every single other religion the Teikoku could think of were easy to compromise with, in which Huangdiism essentially came to absorb the ideas of many, even successfully finding a way to bring Judaism & Islam closer together for the sake of maintaining a utopian socialist, Pan-Human nation. Concluding his words he said, "This our strategy. We have an iron fisted government, however we are also compassionate with the people. Our Emperor also, loves the people far too much to do harm to them. He thinks of the entire Teikoku's population, regardless of their pre-Teikoku backgrounds, origins, cultures, or nationalities, as if they were either his brothers & sisters, or his fellow compatriots, or even sometimes as his sons & daughters that he must defend to the end. Which is why the Emperor is so strong in will. He defends his nation, moreover would do anything to make his people live in a prosperous, flourishing, thriving, successful utopian Pan-Human socialist state for many eternities to come. Nevertheless, while we are compassionate, I am not afraid to admit that we are also occasionally brutally ruthless in our policies against right wing conservatism, capitalism, anarchism, libertarianism, democracy, fascism, corporations, compulsory consumerism as well as Western ideals."

After he finished speaking to Samuel, General Chen Bingde was the next person to finish the conversation. "Indeed, in many cases we happen to agree with your nation. Authoritarianism, Totalitarianism, Rule by Decree, radicalism, as well as a hard-lined approach to issues is the way to go. in fact, this is partly one reason why the Teikoku is so strongly unified, moreover why it is one of the safest crime-free nations to go to. It is also one reason why we have successfully implemented out Communist utopian Pan-Human state into conceptualisation in well below 28 years through a radical, rigorous, approach. However, we did combined that with a gradual, patient approach, as well as a pragmatic, moderate approach. For the most part, our Communist nation is a state staunchly following pragmatism. We always try to find solutions to all problems, not matter how difficult, we never give up, nor do we ever abandon our quest to solve problems in general. We are also relentless Socratic philosophers, in the methods of questioning things around us to make sure we make the appropriate decisions. Unfortunately however, our nation has collapsed when the Great Patriotic War of the People started in 2011, when Yushuu Ikito convinced our Emperor to enter war with the Quendi, which forever destroyed our past excellent historical relations with them, then in turn the war plunged us into economic depression---"

The Cambodian removed the hand then spoke, "To which resulted in our great nightmare, the Yushuu Conglomerate's rise, being once again possible as they took advantage of our weakened position not to mention our inability to strongly quash them before it was too late. Ever since the Second Conglomerate-Teikoku war began last year in full force, people were once more reminded that corporations, companies, businesses, wealthy classes, bourgeoisies, as well as capitalists, corporatists, in addition to consumerists, are of the evillest creations. The atrocities committed against the Teikoku all over by the Conglomerate, has made people become unified even more than ever before, moreover this time the entire Teikoku's population overwhelmingly, unanimously agreed, that capitalism has got to go, permanently. Therefore, with these circumstances, we never had to suppress capitalism on our own, since the capitalists in our nation themselves were so ashamed of Yushuu's behaviour they turned Communist over time. Our state of course has been practising communism, socialism, market socialism, state capitalism, mixed economics, third way politics, syndicalism, among other things at the same time for a while, however capitalism is now becoming extremely hated by the population. Thank greatness for that. Now, in my own personal opinion however, we should all adopt agrarian socialism, then force starvation on those whom stand in our way. If we were all in agriculture, this civil war would never have come."

After he finished Nguyen Trai Van began to speak once more, very much in a harsh, angered voice. "I despise this idea of implemented starvation. Even the Emperor hated you for it, which is why you were among the first to be thrown out of the Premier elections. While agrarian socialism is possible to accomplish, it has to be forged in a careful, gradual manner. We also have to look at who would manage the rest of the economy while all of us went into agricultural sector. I am partially in favour of agrarian communism, however we need a technocratic approach to accomplishing such a system, such as racing to build robotised industry to replace us in all other economic sectors, allowing the nation to enter agrarianism. However, I have not had much time to look into this. I will look fore more possible feasible ways of doing this however. In the meantime, yes, I am a civilian, the first true civilian to retain a high ranking position in this government, moreover indeed, I have been agrarian for some time too, however that does not stop me from being intellectual. Agricultural life does not necessarily reduce intellectual capabilities if we find the right ways or means to implement it. Nonetheless, I digress, since the major opinion is not in favour of this as of yet. I shall stick to whatever policies The Comrade People's General-Secretary & Premier High Admiral Su Yang Kuang Ai pursues."

Adding to that, Nguyen said, then, "However, in the recent times, in light of all the carnage, we have no choice to return to some form of capitalism, as well as lighten the noose around economic regulations. In some of our distant overseas territories we have experimented Titoism, market socialism, state capitalism, mixed economics, pragmatism & third way economics, moderation, as well as collectivist anarchism/workers' self management. We have turned to mild or moderate socialism, democratic socialism, or Marxist-Leninsm in some places too attempt to restore relations with foreign nations to get them to invest into our crumbling economy before it is too late, before we become an autarky & a pariah. I also once proposed about reducing military buildup to instead adopt a military structured around guerilla warfare. Which is why we are here to discuss possible agreements of storing our nuclear arsenal in fellow allied nations." he concluded... then, Nguyen, Phirun, as well as Mao Zedong began to dispute with each other, the two latter hard-liners lunging towards Nguyen in preparation to fight him when they things like 'disarming' the military, or 'deregulation' in some places.

It was obvious here that the disputing between fellow compatriots, comrades, 'revolutionary brothers' representing the Teikoku here (except the Emperor, or the Seii Taishogun, of whom both stood there watching in silence), was caused by the Teikoku's current situation. The Great Patriotic War, The Conglomerate-Teikoku Wars, the nuclear exchanges, have divided the entire nation in terms of opinions on what could be done now to save the once unified, collectively strong Pan-Human socialist utopian nation from demise. However, the Comrade People's Emperor began to point out, "While there is much controversial subjects to dispute about as of current, in addition to much that has caused outrage, we cannot allow the union to collapse into disputes, or all out wars to resolve them. You have all proven to me this Teikoku, this Pan-Human project, can still succeed, if you place effort into it. You overwhelming agreed to bring High Admiral Su Yang Kuang Ai to power, moreover also agreeing overwhelming to bring Nguyen Trai Van, a civilian official, to power too to lead the nation through a Chinese-Vietnamese coalition government to maintain the union as best as possible, moreover to also restore us to our original glory as best as possible. Therefore, with these two officials in power, we can accomplish recovery in the long run. I shall return to a rebuilt nation after my fighting with Yushuu is over. I know I shall, for I believe in all of you." the Emperor told them as he quickly lunged forward

To break a possible fight between Nguyan & Phirun by separating them. Uchiha Madara in the meantime stated, "Can we return to this whole meeting's central discussion please now; instead of bickering or squabbling like the very parliaments or democracies we opposed? In any case, what we have proposed to this meeting so far is that we are planning to store our nuclear weapons in fellow allies of the Dragon's Fury Pact of Sovereign Nations, in addition to intending to store some of our experimental blueprints in the Imperial Shrine of Yue, as well as migrating some of nuclear stricken population to Comrade Commissar as well as other nations willing to take in waves of people fleeing the coming evil radioactive clouds. We also wish to engage in economic trading agreements with most of you to allow you to inject investment as well as aid to our economy to save it, by establishing trade in specially reserved coastal cities. Not to mention we also wish to adopt the Yue Gold Coins as our currency to crush inflation, as well as obtaining or procuring monetary contracts to receive money from those among your nations willing to provide stimulus to our economy. We are moving towards a temporary pragmatic third way system of economics in hopes of recovering faster before fully returning to Communism. Additionally, we will not be able to maintain a military by ourselves anytime soon... thus we need some to supply us with weapons, as well as maintain bases in our overall Teikoku." before going into silence.

Then, Uchiha Madara also requested that everyone ignored the previous disputes or arguments prior to his intervention in attempting to bring the room back into proper order.

"Hmph," Jon Smith frowned in discontent, "I'm not quite comfortable with the anti-capitalist and anti-corporation talk that is coming from your people, Emperor..."

"In any case, I cannot speak for the Imperial Shrine upon assisting in the dollarization of the Japanese Empire, you shall have to talk to one of the more notable High Priestesses upon the subject. However, I know enough about Asahina to state what actions they shall probably enact regarding Japan. Mister Eagles shall not be too keen on loaning financial aid toward a nation which has openly stated their policy against capitalism and corporatism, and the same goes with any mercenary forces of Eagle International Armory..."

"The Tsao State can provide you troops and equipment, Comrade Emperor," Stated Fei, "We shall be happy to assist you in your efforts in Beijing, as well as provide some financial aid and take in your people. I shall discuss terms with General Huo once I return to the Tsao Province."

After Uchiha's statements however, some of the Japanese representatives began bickering about the conditions of their lands, and the policies that they would have enacted to save it. The young Tengu Ai immediately clapped loudly and looked at the Japanese representatives.
"This is my Shrine, I shall not allow any such arguments to take place," She said, turning to look at Uchiha Madara, "As for food, it shall be served shortly. This Shrine does not have a kitchen, and thus it is being prepared in another location currently. It shall arrive soon enough with High Priestess Yuan Li's return. Sorry for the inconvenience."

The small white haired wolf walked away and sat back down against Lang, who patted her head in a mother-like way.
"True, we should not bicker in a place of holiness." She said, somewhat more relaxed, "Tis offending to our honoured guests, the South Landers, the Air Equines, the Greater Equines, and is stressful towards the Priestess of this Shrine, Ai, here. Please, let us return to business. South Land Debt Ombudsman, seeing as you have much interest in economics, what benefits would the Imperial Shrine gain by the Far Easterners adopting our currency?"

The High Priestess Lang simply stared at Leroy with somewhat caring eyes, attempting to calm the Summit before High Priestess Yuan returned.

"Even so," the Comrade People's Emperor began to say, "It is still our foreign policy in the end. Capitalism has done more wrong than any good in our nation. The Yushuu Conglomerate has proven to everyone in The Greater Unified Collective Soviet People's Huangdiist Teikoku what capitalism means. Furthermore, I hope you can prove otherwise. Because in our agenda, mercantilism, colonialism, as well as capitalism, are threats to our State Stability, in addition to our State Security in every way. These counter-revolutionary movements would threaten to destroy all our good work. Now, however, I do hope you agree with me on the subject of eliminating anarchism however. This despicable system threatens to destroy all established humanity as we speak. They want to reverse civilisation itself! Perhaps we can both agree... even remotely, on that matter?" the Emperor whispered to Jon Smith.

"Nonetheless, concerning the adaptation of the material-based gold standardised Yue denomination, we shall discuss this with them soon. It should not be difficult either if I am to experiment my womanising abilities here. As for Asahina, or Hershel von Eagles for the matter, I am not definitely even worried about them. Nevertheless, while we do condemn capitalism in our foreign policy, sometimes, just sometimes, for the sake of protecting our interests we reverse the very ideals we stand for by making alliances in addition to forging relations, as well as trading agreements with capitalist nations. Often, we have little in a world dominated by the unfair majority. In the end however, I have also seen other successful communist nations besides what we were once.

"If we succeed in gathering them together to work with us, we can expand our diplomatic influence, increasing our economic strength through pan-socialist or pan-communist trade agreements, then bolster the entire left wing movement through clever moves. I have plans, massive ambitions for the future. However, our state is reversing its foreign policy, staying to a course of diplomatic & economic expansion instead of foreign expansion via military means. The world is too big, moreover we are not in a position to expand any longer. We will maintain our ironically right wing militarism as a mainstay of state pride, as well as use it for defence, however no more shall it expand. Instead we shall diplomatically expand. In conclusion, our current desperation has forced upon us a hard choice. We decided to open several coastal cities in the main Teikoku lands, then setting up trading posts or cities in our overseas territories. However, foreign business in general must adhere to our regulations, as it is market socialism with state capitalism of the Showa Statism form we shall tolerate, nothing more."
the Emperor finished his discussion.

Mao Zedong in the meantime was pleased at Fei's promises. "Huangdiist Communism-Socialism shall always be grateful to fellow Stalinist or Maoist comrades. While the Home Islands of our Japanese brothers, the centrepiece of the Teikoku, have been taken out of action for the most part, the rest of the Teikoku continues to exist, moreover the Emperor is here standing before you, more jubilant than ever. He is key to the union's survival after all. Also, we will eventually need help getting surviving inhabitants of the Home islands to move over into mainland China to resettle there until the radioactive mushrooms clear, yield, or give way. Yes, Please take these simple requests to General Huo." he dictated as he patiently finished watching the ending of Doctor Strangelove on his phone, which displayed a series of awe-aspiring nuclear explosions. It suddenly reminded him that the People's Commissar of Nuclear Affairs would arrive soon enough...

Indeed, at the entrance of the shrine a helicopter landed with Tojo Hideki getting out of it along with General Fujita as they wrapped their Soviet overcoats around them then proceed to walk up, unaware of how either the customs system, or the the no-modern technology rule worked. Both men were only aware of the surrendering of their weapons temporarily, to which they did so by giving them to the Yue guards at the entrance of the shrine. Of course, Tojo's presence was for the nuclear arsenal.

As one could hear the nuclear minister argue with the Yue guards that he was unaware of the specific rules, inside the shrine the meeting continued. The Teikoku's multi-ethnic delegation was startled to silence from their prior bickering as requested by the young tengu, whilst Madara grumbled to himself, muttering words under his breath about not having immediate food. The more polite, less aggresive Nguyen Trai Van began a series of apologies for the behaviours of the fellow delegates representing the Teikoku, whilst the Emperor, whom also found apology important to protect his honour here, handed his last smaller sack of diamonds collected from the Fukakku Shingen, worth a total of five hundred thousand Yue Gold Coins, over to Ai for her to safe-keep. Worriedly however War Marshal Phiron looked at Lang when she began discussing the economic values of the currency deal. He began to turn to the Emperor to whisper something to him about seduction now, however the Emperor shook his head, preferring to keep a low profile for the moment now that there were too many other people present.

NATIONSTATES
NASTINESS AT THE SUMMIT, BUT GIVING PEACE A CHANCE

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:…not to mention also us sending much people to Comrade Commissar to avoid the nuclear clouds over the Home islands, or those that had been done over Angola where the centre of late Yushuu Ikito's regime once stood. Now, tell me also: are Comrade Commissar's four nations capable of becoming provider of monetary aid to help place our nation back on its feet? Additionally, are any of the four nations willing to send troops to Beijing for the purposes of establishing an allied base of defenses in our new capital as a bulwark against future aggression...”

Samuel looked a bit insulted.

“People’s Comrade Im-purr-uh Toe-koo-gah-wuh, I cain’t believe ya didn’t mention us once in yer people’s needs. Japanese Dystopians have been a-emigratin’ ta TurtleShroom more than any othuh nation in the Pact three ta one. I used to be ‘bout the only Asian in mah town, but in the past twelve years, that’s changed. The country is now a quarter Asian.”

He paused for emphasis.

“They’re even startin’ ta Easternize our politics every now and then.”

Frowning, he continued.

“What I’m tryin’ ta see hee-yuh’s that TurtleShroom can handle all yer immigration needs, if ya’ll simply come in legally. We’d normally float yer funds, too, but we’re more broke than a progressive income tax in Lazziez Faireholm. Seriously, though, send yer folks down here, and we’ll treat ‘em right propuh. We may not be an Asian nation, but the white humans, Asian humans, turtles, n’ the mushrooms have strong similarities to yer people in ways of honuh, loyalty, family, manners, and duty to a country. Besides, I think we could use more Eastern principles in my country anyways. I’ve always said that, and it’s sorta’ the reason I’ve been ambassador-in’ fer these fifty years.”

Some time passed and the Urmanian delegate began to dispute with Samuel.

Urmanian wrote:"You know what I am talking about, and know it well. Oppression of non-straight people…

Samuel immediately retaliated.

“We don’t oppress no queers. It ain’t illegal to be gay in my country, it’s actin’ on one’s dark lust that is. Just bein’ gay ain’t a crime; that was determined in 1945, in the Men and Men v. All Things Good and Decent court case. Determinin’ that homosexuals can not be forced to take therapy against their will. Partially repealed with the Constitutional amendments of the 1960s.”

Urmanian wrote:…people who choose to engage in non-conventional sexual acts…

“There ain’t no place for them acts in any productive nation, haws. They are an abomination to the mind, spirit, and body of all humans that do it, so say the religious folk, while the Asian immigrants say it holds back the country’s full potential. Their kids, many havin’ found Jesus, and saved their household, fused this ‘n that n’ say both. Them vile acts have been ‘crimed’ since 1796. The very founding articles of our Constitution specifically address them!

Samuel crossed his frail arms.

“If ya’ll ‘wanna get that filth on, there are many nations you can hitch a train to and head on out ta do. No one has a right to make us change what has been so fer TWO HUNDRED YEE-UHS.”

Urmanian wrote:…people who do not belong to human, turtle or mushroom species…

“My country’s law only defines those three as automatic citizens by jus soli. Other creatures are governed by statute and are classed as such. Two classes, yours and a certain other I ain’t gone addrss ‘cause we in the Shrine, are named by statute. A multitude of others are named demons and denied most rights, and then, the rest… they can be citizens if they follow the law. What you’re repeatin’ is propaganda designed ta smear us as raw evils.”

Urmanian wrote:…people who practice magic and wizardry…

“TurtleShroom has a proud history in erasin’ and destroyin’ witchcraft. We did this in 1796, and will continue to do it in 2012. Sorcery is explicitly listed as a sin and can and is used ta control and destroy others. It can warp the soul, harm the body, and cause chaos in the streets. If you believe in magic but not in our god, you are fully aware of the ‘dark ah-ts’ n’ that old black magic. People can use magic to commit crime, embezzle signatures n’ documents, and, of course, jack cahs, break glass, pick locks, and all other sorts of criminal activities. Beyond bein’ explicitly listed as pure evil, magic is a weapon of crime and villainy. We actually have to arm our organized crime and foreign espionage divisions with anti-magic and anti-supernatural kits. Do ya know how many mobsters know witchcraft? How many times we find folks literally brewin’ moonshine? In cauldrons? At night? Have you ever heard our poe-lease briefins’? Witch doctuhs in the rainforests? Dark medicine men in the deserts? Voodoo and fortune tellin’ in the swamps? Sorcery is a pestilence and tool of the criminal class. It is our duty as a Christian nation and as a nation that actually cares about crime ta stop it.
-and we’s merciful on ‘em, anyway. To a witch, eighty yee-uhs is nothin’. We haven’t executed anyone fer witchcraft since 1924.”

Urmanian wrote:…people who dress 'improperly'…

“That ain’t against the law. It is society, not the gub’mint, that persecutes and ostrasizes it. Cree-chuhs that dress ‘improperly’ are rightfully called into question by their fellow TurtleShroomers. Disillusioned by their criticism, they wear somethin’ bettah suited. –and if you even think of sayin’ we don’t let girls wear pants, I’ll call ya bluff.”

Urmanian wrote:Punitive psychiatry, too. This all is carried out by state, not private enterprise.

“Our psychiatry ain’t no punitive nightmare! It ain’t punishment’a dissent. It’s healin’. There ain’t tor-chuh in there. Ya’ll ever sent an inspection team, haws? Have ya?!
We welcome ‘em day n’ night, any time’a the week ‘cept the Sabbath. Send a haws on down to any mental asylum. I dare ya. You cain’t insult our psychiatry ‘till you see our psychiatry. We aint’ got NOTHIN’ ta hide, haws. To assault our medical field is to assault our country, fer medicine is holy, healing, it is holy. Mental asylums ain’t punishment. They’re healin’. –and we don’t even use straitjackets. We use painless wrist restraints, which are imported directly from Americaland and, hopefully soon, Yellow Apple.”

Urmanian wrote:And far from being an asinine casus belli, those are all crimes against sapient kind."

“In mah country, we call crimes ‘gainst humanity ‘n sentience ‘Crimes Against the Fathuh, tha Son, n’ the Holy Ghost’. These include genocide- which we nearly committed and promptly dealt with –warrr crimes, coups d’etat, human traffickin’ and other such evil stuff as that. I find it funny that ya’ll are whinin’ bout the way we run our state while there are genocides all ovuh the world and places where girls are seen as properties, not cree-chuhs of their own accord. Refocus your criticism. We don’t oppress any more than when we were founded. We have been doin’ exactly what we do now fer two hundred yee-uhs, n’ we ain’t gone stop just cause someone gets their saddlebags in a knot.
Like that letter…” he paused again, his confidence and boldness fleeing like the wind, “…you know which one. Like it said, we’re gone give peace a chance twice mo’ ‘fore we send ourselves on to where the roll’s called, up yonder.”

The Cambodian man eventually weighed his input in, enjoying Samuel’s similar, and yet so different, remarks to his statements. Sometimes, GEIJD considered TS a culture they could easily absorb into their Huang-ah-doo whatever. (TurtleShroomers could never pronounce it. Or any one of their words.)

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:"I agree with you TurtleShroomian leader, Samuel. Non-heterosexual people deserve hard-lined measures thrown down their throats…

Samuel nodded.

“If you give ‘em an inch, they’ll take ten thousand miles. Never content with bein’ on equal playin’ fields, they demand that they be elevated to special classes n’ be treated as different from their non-perverted peer ‘cause they think they’s ‘special’. What you give ‘em is never enough.”

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:…the same goes for capitalists, fundamentally religious people…

Samuel’s diplomatic training stopped him from scoffing or rolling his eyes. He sat and listened here.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:“…in addition to people who wear improper clothing…”

“Heh, that’s odd.” he commented. “I’ve seen some’a ya’ll wear skirts shorter than the tempers of a Hippostanian interrogator, not ta mention what the polygamists get inta’. Is impropriety only placed on men, or is there some weird standard I ain’t graspin’?"

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:I disagree on the subject about prosecuting magical people, as our Emperor is one himself…

Samuel successfully suppressed all scoffing, eyerolls, and cult of personality comments as he just sat listening.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:We also vehemently oppose punitive psychiatry, unless it is for the sake of maintaining state stability, used for propaganda purposes, used for torturing purposes, re-education, or to force people we know are guilty to confess to their crimes.

“One. We don’t do no punitive psychiatry. We heal. Two, so you’s against punitive psychiatry, except when you see it fit to use punitive psychiatry? Why not just be honest and say ya’ll got punitive psychiatry? –and a word of advice on tor-chuh: trial ‘em and convict ‘em first, and tor-chuh them once they have received due process. It avoids tor-chuh-in’ innocent folks and accomplishes the same thing. –and how do ya know someone’s guilty if there ain’t a trial?”

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:Part is true, however, concerning this conversation, my conclusion to this argument is that our nation may be brutally ruthless in maintaining state stability, law, order, as well as security.

“Such a thing is universally seen as effective to mahself and all other folks sharin’ mah race down in TurtleShroom. It’s one of the things that have really won over the other folk that came before all the folks sharin’ mah race came in. Our country has always been rigid and strict in stability, the lahw, n’ orduh. All things that them See-Tans are killin’ with Gerry.”

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:*snip* For the most part the Emperor succeeded, via charisma *snip* in gulags *snip* to resort to mass murder to our own people. *snip*

He paused, and leaned over to the GEIJD Cambodian goon, this time, speaking in Japanese. (In a very early post, I noted that he was fluent.)
This was probably because he didn’t want the others to hear him.

“Ain’t that ‘cause you’ve spent fifty yee-uhs or mo’ engineerin’ society ta do all that for ya? The people themselves fix things deemed bad? TurtleShroom has been doin’ that fer two hundred yee-uhs. It is why,” Samuel said, turning to the Urmanian representative, “-we are so strong willed and unyielding. It takes many lifetimes ta make an entrenched society, and even longuh ta do it so that everyone embraces it.”

He smiled, somewhat wickedly and winked to the GEIJD delegate, before continuing, back in English.

“I’m blessed with bein’ bilingual.” Samuel noted (in English), as he fiddled around in on that mat, which was becoming really uncomfortable.

“I was tellin’ him how my ancestuhs came from them Japanese Dystopians. Darn near purebred, if I recall. I don’t know if they got archives like the Yues, but the Mooryes left Japanese Dystopia about ninety years ago, makin’ me the first generation of mah family that came inta They told all about life there when they was alive. What I said ta him in his language: I told him ‘bout the similarities and societal engineerin’ and assimilatin’ that TurtleShroom does and they do. One reason the Asian folks in TurtleShroom encounter so little racism is ‘cause they easily assimilate, an’ vice-versa.”

He smiled, thankful for his ability to swap languages in more… “sensitive” manners.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:*snip* Huangdiist Communist-Socialist military government have an excellent relationship of cooperation, brotherhood/sisterhood, as well as a sense of family with the people, to make them feel more comfortable with their leaders, not to mention also made sure the people felt peace of mind under this government *snip*

Right before he was going to lower his hearing aids against the GEIJD delegate’s rants, he realized another connection that he felt compelled to share. He smiled as he began.

“Ya know, that’s real neat. TurtleShroom’s founduhs envisioned n’ engineered a society also forged from hah-moe-knee, cooperation, n’ the sense of fam’ly n’ one body. It stems not from Huangdiist” (OOC: Being fluent in Japanese, Samuel successfully pronounced a word most TS citizens can’t even spell.) “-but from entirely parochial beliefs like tha bah-dee a’ Christ, the unity ‘a the Church, n’ the common bonds that Jones Found managed to find after he and all the missionaries of yore brought the turtles ta the Lawd. A harmonious, united nation, is always bettuh.”

He looked to the Urmanian delegate again.

“Even you hawses are fully aware of that.” he nodded.

Then, he was silent as the GEIJD delegate began anew on his ranting. Samuel began thinking deeply about what he had said.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:*snip* …state's authoritarianism in law enforcement is that one must find enough… *snip*

It dawned on him that the ponies and GEIJD were not so different. Each had their quirks and abominations, but they also had their strengths and like-minded doctrines.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:*snip* Corruption as well as oligarchy had been crushed by the Emperor… *snip*

These doctrines, Samuel thought, might be the saving grace and the antidote of the total destruction his people were facing!

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:*snip* …loving, incorruptible, iron fisted regime. Our collective nation has also strived hard to achieve utopianism in socio-economic aspects *snip*

The old TurtleShroomer turned to Azure.

“Haws… I think we can give peace a chance. Signin’ peace with ya’ll ain’t agreein’ with ya… -but it’s doin’ what the Lawd would do.”

He rubbed his hand on the back of his neck and tried to stand up. The Shrine employees saw this and lifted him back, remembering to fasten the harnesses and rods back to his walker, as he smiled to Azure, slowly limping his way towards her as he adjusted his glasses.

“Urmanian haws delegate Azure… I think… I think we’re gone end this tonight.”

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:*snip* I am not afraid to admit that we are also occasionally brutally ruthless in our policies against right wing conservatism, capitalism, anarchism, libertarianism, democracy, fascism, corporations, compulsory consumerism as well as Western ideals." *snip*

What normally would have started a fiery argument between Samuel and the GEIJD delegate was ignored as Samuel put all of his effort into walking the short distance to Azure, one step at a time. The Debt Ombudsman and the Yue delegations, also ignoring the GEIJD rants, were intrigued as Samuel slowly made his way closer and closer to Azure.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:*snip* …we have successfully implemented out Communist utopian Pan-Human state into conceptualization in well below 28 years through a radical, rigorous, approach. However, we did combined that with a gradual, patient approach, as well as a pragmatic, moderate approach. For the most part, our Communist nation is a state staunchly following… *snip*

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:*snip* since the Second Conglomerate-Teikoku war began last year in full force, people were once more reminded that corporations, companies, businesses, wealthy classes, bourgeoisies, as well as capitalists, corporatists, in addition to consumerists, are of the most evil creations…. *snip*

Azure found it touching that Samuel was limping his way to her, apparently having had an epiphany of peace and goodwill. She just watched as he made his way as slow, or slower, than the turtles, pausing every now and then to let those behemoth oxygen tanks refill his lungs.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:*snip* If we were all in agriculture, this civil war would never have come." *snip*

Samuel paused here, having ignored all prior, and turned to the yakking delegate.

He gave him a high thumbs up, or, as much of an outstretched thumb and fist as a man with painful, severe arthritis can put together.

“RIGHT ON! FARMUHS! YEAH!”

This earned much laughter from other delegations, because Samuel was trying, and failing spectacularly, to provide the illusion that he was listening as he walked to Azure.

If he really was listening, he’d have freaked out about the forced starvation, just as the next rambler did…

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:I despise this idea of implemented starvation. Even the Emperor hated you for it, which is why you were among the first to be thrown out of the Premier elections. While agrarian socialism is possible to accomplish, it has to be forged in a careful, gradual manner…

Samuel paused to listen to the agrarian discussion, his own nation being overtly agrarian, but he got bored and turned down his hearing aid as he paid attention to this speaker, stopping for a moment from his approach to Azure. He held steadily to his walker and waited to find something interesting.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:Agricultural life does not necessarily reduce intellectual capabilities if we find the right ways or means to implement it. Nonetheless, I digress, since the major opinion is not in favour of this as of yet. I shall stick to whatever policies The Comrade People's General-Secretary & Premier High Admiral Su Yang Kuang Ai pursues."

“Farmin’ don’t make ya dumber. It teaches humility, respect for nay-chuh, and how ta grow food. It emphasizes hah-d work n’ tryin’ yer best, and reminds ya just who’s in control at the end of the day, ‘cause only the Lawd calls in the rains. Farmin’ makes a whole lot smarter than them city slickers n’ their… whatever it is that a really industrialized nation does. Ain’t sure. Never known it.”

He cthen continued his walking to Azure. He was that slow.

Finally, he made it, as the GEIJD delegates continued talking about everything under the moon, stars, and their Emperor’s head, which the world revolved around, apparently.

“Honorable haws- yes, I mean that –Jesus once said that ‘blessed are tha peacemakuhs, fer they will be called Childrend of God’. I may hate yer guts, and you may hate mine, but I sure as gravy love my country, and you sure as gravy love yours. The See-Tan ah but ya’lls’ puppets, it seems… -and peacin’ with you will peace with them, too. “

He extended a wrinkly, frail hand, aged by time, to Azure.

“I am ready ta talk peace, haws. I’m too tired to go on fightin’ a battle I cain’t win. I’m sure mah people will too. We can still call off the Crusade.”

He smiled warmly, and sincerely.

“For the best interests and survival of mah people, yer Honuh… All I’m tryin ta say is this: ‘wanna-“ he chuckled a bit at his quote, “give peace a chance?”

Samuel looked intently into Azure’s large, colorful eyes, smiling. He removed his glasses so she could see his own red, slanted eyes back, and he blinded himself in doing so.

“I’m ready. It’s time we end this. What’cha say?”

Though the GEIJD delegation was still rambling, all Samuel heard was the silence from Azure, the Yues, and Yellow Apple.

-and he waited.

The Comrade People's Emperor now began to grow slightly irritated at the strange dialect of English, to which he muttered to Uchiha Madara in their native language of Japanese, that therefore the Teikoku was superior since all the English mastered there was British English, indeed the purest form of English at its best. It had stroked their honourable, extremely nationalistic pride in addition to revolutionary fervour by thinking this. In addition, it was the only form of English tolerated in the Communist nation, as well as the English everyone in the Teikoku happened to be fluent in.

The eccentric, idiosyncratic, queer language the TurtleShroom leader spoke was so impossible to understand the Emperor took his phone to use a voice translation system to translate the words of Samuel into British for the sake of everyone else in the room whom wanted to continue the meeting in English (being everyone's common lingua franca in the room) yet did not wish to hear impossible to feasibly understand dialect. When the TurtleShroomer started to talk in the native tongue & official language, the Emperor listened in shock.

Turning to Uchiha Madara he whispered to him that their tactics had to change, that fortunately for them, both the Emperor & the Seii Taishogun, as well as almost all the other Teikoku delegates in the room, spoke every single other language, dialect, or pidgin found across the Teikoku, so that they could discuss their anger without the intervention of others, as well as at their own discretion. Their ideology, Huangdiism, had always been keen to mastering fluency in every single language in existence, to which multilingualism was emphasised.

Therefore, both the Emperor & Uchiha Madara began discussing between each other, in anger, in Iranian, about that specific Samuel as well as his complaints that the Teikoku had ignored such an important ally, which is in fact not true. Satisfied no one else in the room besides their own Comrades could ever possibly understand Iranian (their assumption of course), they moved onto to returning to the conversation at hand. The Comrade People's Emperor began to speak at Samuel, in the native tongue both of them shared, "Are you assuming we completely forgot you? Why certainly not! We were simply talking about the Comradens first, as their nuclear obsession is something we find respectful, as well as venerable. Also, yes, it would be good for us to bring more of our ideals into your country. It is about time Huangdiism gets some chance at spreading elsewhere."
Then, just as this discussion ended, the Cambodian Kempeitai War Marshal Phirun Vanna Soun, friend to the other Khmer back in the Teikoku who had quite the infamous reputation began to resume his enraged speaking, his temper getting the best of him. Speaking in Cambodian he muttered a series of angered curses to himself before resuming to speak with the TurtleShroomian, in Cambodian accented British English. "Comrade Samuel, I have to say, indeed, queer oriented people have been moreover should be persecuted. They are a contagion, moreover jeopardise humanity's survival. Nevertheless, while the persecutions against those groups are not essentially part of Huangdiism we conduct it as a separate agenda of developing the ideal nation."

"As for the skirts our female compatriots of the home islands wear---this is not even the point. To be brusquely precise, the clothing regulation corresponds that all inhabitants of the Teikoku must wear classical traditional clothing such as mandarin suits, Soviet military uniforms & overcoats, or tuxedoes for everyday purposes, or wear the traditional clothing of the Sengoku Jidai era, or the traditional clothing of all the numerous other cultures of our Teikoku, that has existed before the 1900s. Our military, not matter which part of the Teikoku you come from, wears moreover uses modernised samurai body armour using a wonderful set of strong synthetic composite metals such as tungsten, tantalum carbide, osmium, chromium, vanadium, platinum, or ballistic materials for this matter. We have also the future soldier system in which our military uniforms have infra-red IFF displays on our helmets, among other upgrades necessitous for a modern soldier. Standardisation of state-wide clothing is a mandatory step towards an orderly, utopian society, free as well as purified from all the disgusting modern trends of clothing (or music for the matter) that corporations are spreading.

"In addition to this, we accept polygamy more than anything, as it is a precious ideal held dear to 66%+ of the entire union. As for trials we need not have them since our law enforcement system investigates crime thoroughly before arresting someone for it, such as we have all the sufficient evidence required to arrest the correct person. Moreover, as a precaution to prevent people from lying during interrogations, especially in matters of state stability as well as security, we use all forms of torture to get a person to admit to their actions. It is equally useful in gaining information from enemy spies, or prisoners from foreign nations. Once they attempt subversion of the state, we no longer see them as humans. As for punitive psychological treatments, we indeed use it, it depends on the context Comrade.

"We also see Han Feizi & Qin Shi Huangdi's ideals, known collectively as legalism, as the best way to maintain a state together. In addition to that, making the system even more effective, we use Confucianism on a wide scale."
At this point, once the Cambodian heard the TurtleShroomian delegate speak the native tongue of the divine Emperor his eyes widened in surprised, gawking at Samuel before resuming his explanation of Huangdiism in terms of what it agreed to or disagreed with. "Yes, in less than fifty years we have created a fanatical, fundamentalist, unyielding, relentless, ruthless, over-zealous, die-hard, strong willed, jingoistic, militarist society full of zeal, as well as revolutionary fervour. We have become entrenched as an overall society of many different peoples, moreover we are swiftly moving towards our Pan-Asian then our Pan-Human utopian socialist dream we have been striving for years to accomplish.

"All these endless diversities of peoples living under the Teikoku, have grown to be attached to one another, ever since The Treaty of the Sino-Japanese Unification Pact in Beijing 1983 Summit for the Pan-Asianism/Sino-Japanese unification concept which brought China (including Hong Kong & Macau), Mongolia, North & South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Laos, Burma, as well as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia in addition to the Philippines together as one, then the subsequent Treaty of the Official Teikoku Unification Pact in Hanoi Summit signed in 1986 which replaced Pan-Asianism with Pan-Humanism as our main objective, which brought the rest of Asia, Africa, among numerous other lands part of the Teikoku. We are an entrenched, brutally extremist, radically revolutionary nation that has managed to get peoples of extremely disparate, diverse origins or backgrounds, to work together as one single Pan-Human state for the common goal of accomplishing as well as achieving utopia in addition to total social equality through our pragmatic communist-socialist programme,

"As well as our Pan-Humanist nationalist in addition to militarist, statist as well as jingoistic policies meant to forge a single, unified nation out of many nations. Our experiment is near successful, having only been impeded by the recent devastating misfortunes that have befallen us. Showa Statism as proscribed by our Japanese brothers has seemed to work apparently quite well everywhere else, especially since they, with Chinese assistance, had successfully managed to adapt Showa Statism on a local scale, to make it appealing as well as favourable to every single peoples in the Teikoku, through different methods, until it became the general concept of national Pan-Human unity. Now, a little interesting history. The Pan-Asianism & Sino-Japanese concept devised in 1983 had soon resulted in the acquisition of the Sakhalin & Kuril islands in 1984, to which by 1985 Far Eastern Russia had seceded to join our union too. By 1986, the official proclamation creating the Teikoku we see today was made.

"As for your point about a harmonious, unified nation we agree entirely. We accomplished this by implementing radical ideology throughout the Teikoku, moreover soon began adding collectivist economic anarchism (or workers' self management) to supplement the Central Planning system we have. Titoism was soon also incorporated into Huangdiism as a means of transforming the whole entire Teikoku into a nation of nations. Through other programmes, we had also successfully completely nationalised as well as collectivised the economy for state-ownership as well as collective ownership by the people at the same time. As part of the utopian programme we made the collective term, to inspire a relationship of sense of family, peaceful harmony, Zen, balance, cooperation as well as brotherhood. The state has essentially forged a fatherly or motherly relationship from the government to the people, whilst at the same time forging a relationship of brotherhood, fraternity, as well as sisterhood between the government, the military, as well as the Party in addition to the people themselves.

"Over time we grew very close together through our efficient system of implementing Pan-Humanism throughout the lands until the numerous peoples were completely attached, immersed as well as assimilated alongside each other to the point where the entire Teikoku of many nations now looks after each other no matter what happens. Even if we do face occasional division, especially due to recent events, our strong internal fraternity of a union nation-state has made it completely impossible to separate us, or to even attempt to divide the Teikoku at this point. If our doom comes, then we all go down together. Lastly, these strong relations forged through the common understanding that humanity can work together under the right circumstances was reinforced originally when many combined to work together against the Yushuu Conglomerate in the international People's Revolution against Yushuu Ikito's expansion of his conglomerate influence.

"In fact, this being the first time when we all came to unite against a common foe. After this, our Japanese compatriots, in particular the Comrade People's Emperor, had pushed for a Sino-Japanese union compromising China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, as well as the Japanese in a strong union state for the purposes of restoring friendship, as well as for complete reconciliation of relations to mend past wounds. Then it expanded as others were willing to join this mutual peacefully implemented geopolitical unification of nations, forging the modern Huangdiist Pan-Asianism thought. Then, it went even further, then beyond, to include even more people. After all, Yushuu was the enemy that so many felt they could never rest until he died, that unification was hastened, whilst Pan-Humanity was coming closer to reality. Henceforth this is what we are, a Pan-Humanist utopia."
the Cambodian official had now given way to a friendly evil grin as he calmed himself, returning to feeling that the TurtleShroomians had certain things in common.

Both nations had emphasised agricultural as a system of bringing virtue to the people, although the Teikoku had found industrialisation to be just as important. However, the Cambodian soon turned his face into a solemn neutral expression when he shamefully realised he was speaking to deaf ears. He turned around then sat back down within the rest of the delegation, the tempered, hard-lined old official attempting to relax his wrinkles as he also attempted to reduce his tension fuming levels to absolute naught. In the meantime, Mao Zedong began talking to the Khmer commander in Cambodian criticising him for having dared to explode in a furious episode of arguments for almost no reason what so ever, to which the War Marshal, first apologising to Mao Zedong as well as his other fellow comrades in the Teikoku delegation, then turning to the TurtleShroomian leader to apologise to him therein. "My most humblest apologies. However sometimes I enter raging episodes. I am sure you know what we old people have to deal with." he told Samuel in proper British before sitting down.

Marcus managed a smile as he looked down at the small child greeting him as he and his entourage entered the room. He then turned to his escorts.

"Half of you guard the outside. The other half, stay with me. Keep out of the way."

The four Marines nodded, the two in the rear returning through the doors they had just entered to the exterior of the "Shrine". The other two followed Marcus and Mai toward the meeting area.

Marcus noted several concealed locations in the archaically-designed structure, and consequently pulled a cellular telephone from his suit jacket pocket, dialing a hexadecimal IPv6 address and putting the phone to his ear. Thanks to his age, an attentive listener could barely hear the other end - a female voice barely understandable due to the poor cellular reception.

YellowApple, Incorporated International Commerce Division, this is Colgate.

Marcus spoke quietly.

"It's Marcus. I'm in. ¿Are you ready to make the jump?"

Yes, I am. ¿Do you have coordinates?

"Hang on."

Marcus pulled the phone from his ear, pointed at a nook where the others weren't likely to be looking, and swiped a few gestures on the screen of the phone, returning it to his ear after a brief vibration.

"They're sent. You should be getting them on your end."

I got them, yes. I'll see you in approximately thirty-ech seconds.

"Understood. Out."

Marcus disconnected the call, returned the phone to his pocket, and joined Mai at one of the seats reserved for YellowApple, Inc. He left one seat open beside him, however, placing his briefcase there. He cleared his throat, putting on the figurative mask of diplomacy he hadn't "worn" since last time he was in what used to be Comrade Commisar.

"Greetings, everybeing. A pleasure to see you all. For those who have not met me, I am Senior Representative Marcus Brachetto of the Department of International Relations of the Nomadic Peoples of YellowApple. Beside me is my assistant, Mai."

He seemed to disregard the brief flash of light in the secluded corner he had pointed to with his phone earlier, from which a blue unicorn mare emerged and began approaching the rest of the meeting. Marcus continued.

"And this is Corpo-"

"I can introduce myself," the mare stated as she took the empty seat beside Marcus, the briefcase levitating from the chair to the table. "I'm Corporate Representative Colgate of the YellowApple, Inc. International Commerce Division. I've been instructed to represent YellowApple, Inc.'s corporate interests in the Dragon's Fury Pact of Sovereign Nations. I assume I'm in the correct place."

Compulsory Consumerist State

Postby Comrade Commisar » Mon May 21, 2012 9:12 pm

"I suppose I'd rather live in a Communist State than an Anarchist State, and I'd suppose you'd rather live in a Capitalist State than an Anarchist one too, am I correct?" Spoke Smith, as the Emperor handed the young tengu a bag of gems, which she gleefully took to her donation box in the main hallway of the Shrine - her smile obviously forgiving of the small inconveniences.

Ai quickly ran towards the large timber gate of the Shrine, obviously as if something or someone was pulling her there. Pulling open the Shrine door, she immediately ran forth, embracing High Priestess Feng Hua, who was carrying foodstuffs in with the assistance of High Priestess Yuan Li and some other assistants.

"Hey, Ai. How are you?" Feng stated as she attempted to hold her crate while the young tengu stated how she missed the High Priestess.
"Reuniting speeches can wait, Ai. Please help us bring in these goods for our foreign guests," She stated as she walked in the main room, "I apologize for any disturbances, but we have brought many consumables for your pleasure, honoured guests."

The foodstuffs were placed in a corner within the main room, composed of many things, from roasted Kwai War Boar to a thick, hardy potato and meat stew to assorted berries and fruits. High Priestess Feng Hua had brought Whale meat and shark-fin soup from her return from the Far North Lands, while also stopping around the harbour to obtain some fine honey-preserved apple and peach slices for the Summit. Among the drinks were crushed berry juice mixed with sugar, apple juice, butter tea, goat's milk and the renowned Yue Flaming Wine. Seasoned lamb and even some tins of Tsao Military Hardtack were available, with everything attempted to be assorted to the guest's best preferrences. Most dishes were composed of high-fat, high-energy foods, that being a staple of the North Land diet, although South Land wheat and rice based foods were also available.

High Priestess Feng Hua, Yuan Li and Lang Okami exchanged greetings in the Yue Language, obviously having not seen each other in quite the long time. After a good laugh or two about the old times, Ai noted toward High Priestess Yuan Li about the Japanese adoption of their gold coin. Seating themselves, Feng and Lang immediately resumed their conversation, while the High Priestess went to discuss terms with the Japanese.

"The Yue Gold Coin is of ten parts full gold, it is unlike your paper currencies, which operate upon the belief of the currency," Yuan stated, "Basically, our currency shall not gain any value, unlike the adoption of paper currencies. It would be as if we were issuing free gold and silver, something that would not go well in the Imperial Shrine of Yoitsu. So tell us, how would this benefit the Yue People?"

The white-haired Feng Hua turned to look at the other delegates, most notably the recent arrival from YellowApple who appeared to simply materialize from thin air. Standing up, High Priestess Feng Hua felt that she had better introduce herself as well.

"I am High Priestess Feng Hua of the Far North Lands, where no South Lander has ever set foot. I am here on the request of High Priestess Yue of Yoitsu, representing the greater interests of the North Lands. 'Tis all, please return to your conversations." She stated as she sat back down next to Ai and Lang, continuing their speak of the old times in the Yue Language.

It was certainly going to be an interesting Summit...

"Comrade Emperor, your anti-capitalistic talk is indeed worrying. There are representatives of liberal, capitalist nations in here, and still you go about how you hate capitalists and opress them back at home. My nation despises communism, the 'horrible-theft-idea' as the Menelmacari and our Lunar Princess call it, yet I restrain myself from needlessly insulting communist systems now for the sake of our relations with the Dystopia and other sympathisers of communist ideals here. But more importantly, the Dystopia is already war-torn and with an unstable economy as is, what sane individual would risk his money investing into your nation if he heard you spouting anti-capitalistic vitriol like that? "Eh, fine, you may invest but we still hate you" is not a good strategy to make people give you money when you desperately need it but already don't have a positive financial climate, y'know." - Azure Rhapsody said facing the Japanese Emperor. - "That said, the Greater Herd will not be opposed to striking a trade agreement and we will try to direct funds into your nation but we'll better get some good assurances from your government to our investors. We take our free market and capitalism seriously, and if our investors lose heavily or, Celestia forbid, fall victim to your "brutally ruthless policies against capitalism", well, we will not be pleased. At all."

Azure Rhapsody sighed and started tapping out on her tablet until she heard the TurtleShroomer and perked up.

"I am not in the mood to argue, I will just say that the very idea that the state can tell people who to love and what to do with their bodies is alien and deeply evil to our philosophy as a people and a nation, and even religion." - the pony said and looked up, and recoiled a bit as she now saw the TurtleShroomer towering over her but eased as it became apparent that Samuel wasn't intending to strangle her, but instead extended a hand of peace. - "I...I agree? Yes, I could give peace a chance."

The unicorn smiled, put her hoof in Samuel's hand and shook it carefully.

"But I think you should watch this" - the blue mare said as she put her tablet on the table, tapped the screen a few times and turned it for Samuel to see. It showed the recent broadcast from the Necrontyr Empire. Azure waited until the video ended, and spoke again. - "Our leaders, and the Necrontyr leaders too, are ready for talking peace. So I accept, but the C'tan is no puppet of ours, they are just great friends, and your people would still have to negotiate with the Necrontyr government, and indeed ours, as I am myself not vested with powers to make decisions of war and peace of that caliber."

NATIONSTATES
FOURTH SUMMIT

Urmanian wrote: "I...I agree? Yes, I could give peace a chance."

The unicorn smiled, put her hoof in Samuel's hand and shook it carefully.

"But I think you should watch this" - the blue mare said as she put her tablet on the table, tapped the screen a few times and turned it for Samuel to see. It showed the recent broadcast from the Necrontyr Empire. Azure waited until the video ended, and spoke again. - "Our leaders, and the Necrontyr leaders too, are ready for talking peace… I am myself not vested with powers to make decisions of war and peace of that caliber…."

Samuel adjusted his glasses and viewed the small (to him) screen. He watched the video on through, frowning deeply on some and nodding slightly on others.

“If they’s ready for peace, we are as much. That secondary use… of the Death Ray… will probably force capitulation faster than you can say ‘game ovuh’.”

He shook his head.

“I can tell that everyone’s done with it. Peace. Just… peace. Let’s hope no one gets greedy at the conferences.”

He eventually turned to the others and was prepared to answer the GEIJD commentary, when-

YellowApple wrote:He seemed to disregard the brief flash of light in the secluded corner he had pointed to with his phone earlier, from which a blue unicorn mare emerged and began approaching the rest of the meeting. Marcus continued.

"And this is Corpo-"

OH MY HEAVEN-SENT GRAVY ON CHEESE-COATED RICE. THE HAWS CAME OUT OF NOWAY-UH.”

Samuel was awed at the technology as the pony clopped up to the mats and stood.

Meanwhile, a quick Arabic spat erupted between the two delegates, before they turned back to Samuel and spoke to him in Japanese.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:"Are you assuming we completely forgot you? Why certainly not! We were simply talking about the Comrades first, as their nuclear obsession is something we find respectful, as well as venerable. Also, yes, it would be good for us to bring more of our ideals into your country. It is about time Huangdiist gets some chance at spreading elsewhere."

Samuel cocked an eyebrow and turned to the group, also responding in Japanese.

We would be pleased to have any immigrants that wish to enter into TurtleShroom, for years or for life. –but spreading Huangdiist doctrine might run into a Free Market problem. We are a lazziez-faire capitalist free-for-all, sir. –but if it comes to harmony and social engineering, and other doctrines, it’s likely that you all have already begun to assimilate. Of course, providing publications as to what is Huangdiist and your other doctrines would be excellent.

He listened as the discussions continued.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:“To be brusquely precise, the clothing regulation corresponds that all inhabitants of the Teikoku must wear classical traditional clothing such as mandarin suits, Soviet military uniforms & overcoats, or tuxedoes for everyday purposes, or wear the traditional clothing of the Sengoku Jidai era, or the traditional clothing of all the numerous other cultures of our Teikoku, that has existed before the 1900s.”

Samuel nodded, interested in this and also reminded of the cultural norms of his people, though it was less of an actual time frame and more of a 1920s standard of lengths and measures in clothing decency.

Speaking in English, he replied:
“That there’s an interestin’ way ta keep higha moral standards in yer people. In TurtleShroom, we ain’t got actual dress codes, ‘cept in some smallah cities ‘n fer a specific race a cree-chuhs I ain’t gone say ‘cause we’s in the Shrine.
What we’ve done fer generations is simply let ‘em wear what they want n’ set common-sense decency standards. Skirts or pants ta the knees, no cleavage, no midriff. It’s real easy ta remember n’ universal.”

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:Standardization of state-wide clothing is a mandatory step towards an orderly, utopian society, free as well as purified from all the disgusting modern trends of clothing that corporations are spreading.

Samuel frowned at the obvious corporate insult the Cambodian sneaked in, but dismissed it.

“Isn’t it easiuh just ta in-juh-knee-uh society like ya’ll did with the gov’ment inta acceptin’ a certain mannuh of decency? All we’ve done is a simple length n’ modesty stance, while ya’ll went all out with force n’ every’thang. I reckon it’s ta each his own, so keep at it.”

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:"In addition to this, we accept polygamy more than anything, as it is a precious ideal held dear to 66%+ of the entire union.”

“Naw, we ain’t got real problems with polygamy- was in the Bible, after all -but we’ve lawed it out fer two hundred years with a Constitutional definition’a marriage.”

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:“As for trials we need not have them since our law enforcement system investigates crime thoroughly before arresting someone for it, such as we have all the sufficient evidence required to arrest the correct person.”

Samuel rubbed his old chin as he listened to this.

“So ya’ll stalk ‘em n’ learn of their every deed, n’ then ya gnab em? Huh. We require warrants n’ such ta do it, and even then, we gots a gray-and joo-ree ta determine if there’s evidence enough ta trial. We’re big on fair, impartial trials. We think it’s holy, and again, in the Bible.”

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:“In less than fifty years we have created a fanatical, fundamentalist, unyielding, relentless, ruthless, over-zealous, die-hard, strong willed, jingoistic, militarist society full of zeal, as well as revolutionary fervour. We have become entrenched as an overall society of many different peoples, moreover we are swiftly moving towards our Pan-Asian then our Pan-Human utopian socialist dream we have been striving for years to accomplish.”

Samuel chuckled.

“Shoot, it took us two hundred yee-uhs ta get to that! Maybe we should take some pointuhs from ya, huh? Heh. Ya’ll used the schoolhouses, didn’t ya? Controllin’ the youth is controllin’ the few-chuh.”

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:"All these endless diversities of peoples living under the Teikoku, have grown to be attached to one another, ever since The Treaty of the Sino-Japanese Unification Pact in Beijing 1983 Summit for the Pan-Asian/Sino-Japanese unification concept.”

“Neat. TurtleShroom crossed a species barrier in our foundin’, unitin’ under the common bond of tha Church n’ the Good Lawd above to forge harmony. Through our common religious convictions, we created a society of three types’ a cree-chuhs inta one massive country. It’s worked fer centuries!”

-and both were impressed at their common bonds. Samuel respectively paid attention as he listened to the ramblings of the GEIJD man, thinking about his next responses.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:“As for your point about a harmonious, unified nation we agree entirely. Through other programs, we had also successfully completely nationalized as well as collectivized the economy for state-ownership as well as collective ownership by the people at the same time. As part of the utopian program we made the collective term, to inspire a relationship of sense of family, peaceful harmony, Zen, balance, cooperation as well as brotherhood.”

Samuel nodded.

“Harmony even crossed species barriers. After all, in TurtleShroom, we cain’t tell one Asian from anothuh. Ah’m Greater Imperial Japanese Dystopian through and through, but I look like ya’ll and, frankly, I wouldn’t a’known if you was Cambodian, Chinese, Commissarian, or even the same as mine. We shied away from influencin’ the market to forge our cul-chuh, instead usin’ the powuh of the Church and the light of the schools ta help put some unity into three radically different groups of turtles, mushrooms, n’ mankind. While achievin’ the same brotherhood as ya’ll, we haven’t had to go and molest all our Free Markets and destroy corporate innovation. –but again, ta each his own, since you are doin’ it real well.”

After he spoke, he again let the GEIJD groups wind themselves down, as Mao tapped him on the shoulder and spoke.

Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia wrote:“My most humblest apologies. However sometimes I enter raging episodes. I am sure you know what we old people have to deal with."

Samuel smiled widely and laughed heartily.

“Heh heh, I know ‘zactly what ya’ll mean. Gerontocracy has a lot of infection in mah people’s gov’ment. –and when I ramble, I ramble. Although, it seems to have caught on in the young ones, too. I;ve heard tourists complain that we’d go about givin’ the his’try of bathrooms when asked where one is.”

He nodded.

“I’m real glad I talk to ya. Our people would really benefit from further cooperation with each othuh.”

"When capitalists inside our own territories have committed so many atrocities against my people it is only reasonable to begin to suspect them even more. This is no longer a class struggle nor an ideological conflict. This is a question of whether or not capitalists in general follow the system of which the Conglomerate Yushuu rival government is following. The question also becomes, what level of social Darwinism do other capitalist nations follow? Moreover, most importantly, does the Yushuu family have connections with other nations? This is our current problem as you can see. It is no longer about Communism being in a state of perpetual war, it is about the image the Conglomerate have given to us about all capitalists in general. My people have overwhelmingly demanded for me to adopt a hard-lined policy as a result in case the situation becomes worse than it should be. Nevertheless, you have our assurances that your investors will be protected. I leave the rest for you, Madara." the Comrade People's Emperor told Azure.

The Comrade People's Seii Taishogun now began to speak, just as the Emperor requested. "The question is not whether you are capitalist, bourgeois, or not. The question is, will any foreign businesspersons or investors we bring into our country be respectful as well as cooperative to the people instead of arrogant social Darwinists? Are they for or against Yushuu's policies? Are they corrupted, do they have a past record of a history of crimes of any kind, such as embezzlement, child labour, human trafficking, smuggling of illegal substances, underground prostitution, have private military forces, have massacred unions, or murdered anyone at all to stamp our their competition? If the corporations & their executives have a clean past without blood nor crime of any kind, then they shall be permitted exclusive access to our nation. Our policy in terms of capitalists in general is that we have coastal cities or ports reserved for them to live in to freely practise their 'laissez- faire' free market, to an extent. They are still regulated via state capitalism as well as market socialism. In other words, we regulate their conduct. If they are merely working for profits in an honest manner, conduct entrepreneurship with an honourable code, then not a problem."

Uchiha Madara was interrupted by General Chen Binge whom spoke in his stead. "If the bourgeoisie people have never done things that deserve them being put before justice, then this should not be a problem. If they do not attempt to squash or interfere against the rest of the Teikoku's Communist or Socialist system, then it is also fine. However, there is a difference in regulations. We tend to tighten our control over our capitalist citizens to make sure everything goes well without incident. We have the Party's elite 'Red Guard' paramilitaries in their industries or factories among other facilities of manufacturing. Furthermore, our capitalists are restricted within the bounds of Titoism, Castroism, Ho Chi Minh Thought & Doi Moi, Deng Xiaoping Thought, market socialism or Showa Statism, in addition to tonnes of syndicalism. Additionally, foreign capitalists however, are not under the bounds of socialist regulation in any way, except for regulations concerning their honour, their conduct, their cooperativeness, their honesty, as well as their virtues. In other words, foreign capitalists will be under constant surveillance by the Kempeitai Secret Police in addition to the Politburo's Black Guards, however if these investors having nothing to hide, then they have absolutely nothing to fear."

Nguyen Trai Van then spoke to finish this conversation in a conclusion. "Indeed, Celestia forbid. However, if you bring the right people, the type of investors that do their services in a friendly good-willed manner, have a clean past or history, vehemently oppose Yushuu, as well as have few records of corruption or abusing their workers, as well as have a good attitude towards unions, then they may come in without anything to worry about. As we previously stated, we only regulate foreign businesses by their behaviour, in addition to certain minimal socialist regulation, that is, if they hire our people in any of their centres. Because then, they would have to obey the basic minimum wage, welfare, worker's protection in case of injury, as well as labour union treatment regulations we have. If they bring with them their own workers, then this does not apply, although we will condemn any mistreatment to their own people if we find any such evidence. Technically, in order for this to work appropriately, every investor from outside the Teikoku, every foreigner business, must adhere to the basic universal laws in how they treat employees in general, as well as the fundamental wage requirements. They must also, as extremely emphasised, have a clean history, as well as excellent clean conduct."

"To which to conclude, if your businesses have clean histories, have never committed atrocities in other nations, have never abused other peoples, have never been prone to corruption in the higher ranks of their faculties, have never armed themselves with private paramilitaries, have never supported mercantile policies such as those the British or Dutch East India Companies practised, have never supported things like Yushuu, have never supported social Darwinism to the extremes, have a moderate stance on leftist nations like ourselves, have never killed their employees, never attempted to massacre unions, then they should do perfect. Returning to how you are calling us the 'horrible-theft-idea', this is where Confucianism as well as Meritocracy come in. People are not necessarily inherently lethargic or indolent. It is not always there fault that they cannot come to work. Sometimes life have circumstances where people have little ability to contribute to the nation's economy or to society overall. However, this is not meant to imply there is no such thing as lethargic people. Nevertheless, our point is, communist & socialist benefits in our state come with merit from contributing to the state economy, or society, or military in any manner, shape, or form. People work in anything they want to work in, they get their benefits. There is no division or hierarchy in our socio-economic aspects. Everyone is equal. So long as the merit it. However, if they are not lethargic on their own right, if they have been ill, disabled, or have been born into circumstances making it difficult for them to advance, we help them ten thousand fold."

"Lastly, we also do not favour the lower & middle classes over the wealthy. Our communism in addition to perpetual state of class struggle may seem so, however in Huangdiism it is not necessarily thus. Since wealthy people have actually, interestingly participated in the revolution, including other people categorised in the bourgeoisie, this must mean they are not all inherently terrible, therefore, deserve to become a part of the utopian society we are attempting to create. Excluding innocent members of the bourgeoisie from this future we are searching for would make us hypocritical... moreover we despite hypocrisy. Moreover, we do not 'steal' from the wealthy to give the poor inherently either. Our government holds responsibilities to pay or subsidise everything that needs to be subsidised, moreover the wealth redistribution system in our state works by us giving wealth to the disadvantaged or the needing, from our own pockets. We take no income to do our work, moreover the Emperor has long thrown away all the wealth of the Imperial House to the people. We do not need money for our own personal lives, the people need it. It is basically through a combination of subsidies, government redistribution of wealth, as well as redistribution of wealth (in the usual Communist fashion, yet this is done only against wealthy that are deemed guilty for certain things they have done in the past, to which we either collectivise, confiscate, or tax their private properties, or if they are terrible criminals or murderers, we executed them then we turn their property over to the people)"

"In the end however, my point is that our country is moderate in the collectivisation in addition to redistribution of wealth, taking numerous pragmatist steps to accomplish this hitherto with as minimal the consequences as possible. I also wish to make it clear that not all wealthy people deserve their wealth either. Some took underground criminal measures to obtain it, some cheated their way up, others killed or trampled others to get their fortunes. Keep this in mind. Nevertheless, returning to redistribution of wealth, we originally practised the method of taking everyone's money throughout the entire population, then redistributed per capita so that everyone living under the Teikoku has at least 500,000 yen in their personal holdings, making the entire nation technically a bunch of wealthy Communists. Then we go from there to other policies with occasional moderation to avoid too many consequences. We try to maintain pragmatism as our policy to make sure things go well. Moreover we are also socratic. Our Communist society does not steal, it works collectively together as one single family or community to achieve the Greater Good, the Golden Age, or Utopia. We all collectively work together in a unified manner to accomplish our goals. This should be humanity, cooperation for the sake of greater accomplishments. Because by working together, more can be done within decades instead of eons.

"As for the so called 'merit', have you ever considered the problems with it in deregulated capitalism? What of all the misery which feudalism, capitalism, mercantilism, consumerism or corporate fascism have brought, not to mention the destruction of ethical society via consumerism? What of all the agricultural peasant farmers, or the Tsardom's serfs, whom constantly toiled in near slave labour conditions in the sunlight? What of corporations out-sourcing to other nations to obtain inexpensive labour, or going elsewhere to buy two thirds of a country (such as Guatemala) to which those living within the lands inside corporate controlled premises, especially in the case of that renowned United Fruit Company, to which people would make only what would be seen as one Yue Silver Coin (23 Imperial Akatsuki Yen/NS$35.00) per annum, barely enough to live or to depend upon? What of the hard working proletariats that should have earned sufficient merit that it should have increased their 'ranking' in society, yet social attitudes, socio-economic problems, unemployment, cultural caste systems, corruption, or an oppressively elitist egoistic avaricious bourgeoisie/oligarchy of wealthy people or aristocrats among others (whom do everything in their power to keep people poor, miserable, apathetic, programmed conservatives, programmed lethargic, or as uneducated as possible)?

"What of circumstances where the wealthy gain status & influence at the expense of the peoples's suffering or plight? As in those gaining or obtaining wealth at the expense of others? Throughout history class struggle as well as Darwin-inst corruption in meritocracy have made things difficult. As for ourselves, we work together collectively as a single family or community, working together as one, cooperating together to collectively accomplish equal wealth for everyone, as well as working collectively together as a family to make our nation The Greater Unified Collective Soviet People's Huangdiist Teikoku into a powerful first world developed nation with highest standards of living, excellent human development index, as well as a nation full of opulence for everyone, in addition to full of prosperous, flourishing, thriving successful people, instead of competition against one another with Social Darwinism, philanthropy, or hierarchy where only a small percentage of the people are wealthy or well off. We would prefer collectively working together as one to obtain wealth, not the other way around. That is all, Mrs Azure Rhapsody."
Nguyen finished talking then sat back within the meeting.

"We would be pleased to have any immigrants that wish to enter into TurtleShroom, for years or for life. –but spreading Huangdiist doctrine might run into a Free Market problem. We are a lazziez-faire capitalist free-for-all, sir. –but if it comes to harmony and social engineering, and other doctrines, it’s likely that you all have already begun to assimilate. Of course, providing publications as to what is Huangdiist and your other doctrines would be excellent."

In the meantime while the discussion with Azure continued the Comrade People's Emperor in the meantime was the one to reply to Samuel instead of the Cambodian official, whom was now busy searching in his phone for a set of benefits that would give the Yue reason to allow the Teikoku to adopt the Yue Gold Coins. As for the Emperor, he began talking in their common native language. "Since our Cambodian friend here is at the moment occupied I shall finish the discussion for him. Why would a nation even wish to run the free market system? Where corruption, abuse, as well as Social Darwinism run around untamed? Your nation also claims to be religious, to which a fundamental aspect of religion is in fact to avoid 'immoral' market practises. While we ourselves, officially decreed our nation as atheist or anti-theist, numerous religions exist across the lands in which people can continue to practise their ideals at home without worry. However, on another note, we do have the Cult of Personality revolving around me... as well as nuclear weapons of mass destruction. Nevertheless this is besides the point. My point is that capitalism, whether one is religious or not, is never a good way to survive. Because if it even did offer opportunity, why is it that still a majority of people cannot emerge strong, nor is there a majority of wealthy in the world? As for publications, I am trying to get the time, however none of us had the time to do so as of yet."

He listened again as the conversation endured, then sighed once he heard the peculiar English form he so despised.... having to translate the words.

“That there, is an interesting way to maintain high moral standards in your people. In TurtleShroom, we do not have actual dress codes, except in some smaller cities as well as for a specific race a creatures I am not going to mention because we are in the Shrine.
What we have done for countless generations is simply let them wear what they want then set common-sense decency standards. Skirts or pants to the knees, no cleavage, no midriff. It is real easy to remember not to mention universal.”

"Ah, the memory issue is not problematic in our state. We have found ways to prolong life, prolong memory, increase intelligence, perpetuate good health, among many other things. Yes, our mandarin suits, tuxedoes, classi British Victorian era clothing, among all the traditional types of numerous cultures, as well as all the other ones the Cambodian mentioned to you are universalised standard in our state. In some occasions also people wear the Akatsuki robes with the red clouds on them for propaganda value in the cult of personality. We have mandatory clothing codes for everyday, as well as for education. It is especially reinforced in education."

He grinned when he realised the Cambodian Kempeitai officer was correct. There are indeed issues both nations can agree to. Still speaking in Japanese he said:

“Is it not much easier to indoctrinate society like you have done with the government, into accepting a certain manner of decency? All we have implemented is a moderate stance, whilst you have used full-scale force on everything. I reckon it is each to his own, so bloody have at it.”

"Full-scale force is the best force I must say. The first sentence was difficult to comprehend, however I assume that you meant indoctrination? Of course, we use large scale indoctrination, at all times Comrade."

“No, we do not have problems with polygamy- it was in the Bible, after all -however we have interpreted it out via law for two hundred years with a Constitutional definition on marriage.”

"I suppose. Nevertheless, I did not know your 'Bible' accepted or tolerated polygamy. Was it not them that were against 'adultery'? I suppose we have not done enough research on this religion of yours." the Emperor replied unsure of this.

“So you stalk them to learn of their every action, then you grab them? Huh. We require warrants or the likes to do it, moreover even then, we have to determine if there is adequate evidence for a trial to smoothly proceed, not to mention alibi. We are fanatic in impartial as well as fair trials. We think it’s holy, then again, in the Bible.”

"The Bible last time my secret police read it over with me does in fact include such a section on trials. However, we find this system inefficient, moreover instead of catching someone to prosecute, it would mean let the original criminal flee in flight to resume his activities. Therefore, not only do we work carefully for evidence, however we have spies, secret police officers, military personnel, among other groups watching the every move of the daily person, including secretly installing surveillance in every street section, as well as in peoples' homes. We make civilians house soldiers in their homes, or we have secret police constantly patrolling the streets, as well as snipers on rooftops to take out potential offenders in mid day. We also have curfew which clamps down on crime even faster. We listen to telephones, to oral discussions, we have spies enter computers, scour the Internet, as well as have an effective censorship system for all media in our state. We also have spies eavesdropping on homes at night, or police in civilian uniforms. I have eyes everywhere in my nation, nothing can escape my grasp. If something is about to happen, I would have something prepared way before it happens. I am aware... of everything."

“Bloody nice, it has taken us two centuries to accomplish this! Perhaps we can take some ideas from you, yes? Hmpf. You happen to have used re-education? Everyone knows quite obviously that controlling the youth equals controlling the future---”

"Let me stop you right at this point Comrade. Indeed, controlling the youth is crucial. Moreover, we have done it by inspiring into them a series of sentiments such as staunch nationalism, revolutionary fervour, fanaticism, loyalty, duty, militarism, over-zealousness, as well as jingoistic feeling, by implementing daily propaganda to fill their minds with honoured boastful statements of the state's glory. We also show them that the Teikoku, the Great Pan-Human Socialist Motherland itself, is superior to other nations. We also have Youth paramilitaries, Youth military units, child soldiers, Youth Party positions, unions for children, not to mention media making them feel the nation to be far more glorious than all else. For everyone else, coercive force, propaganda, re-education, iron fisted rule, as well as benevolent, compassionate, impartial, unbiased, even or fair leadership of the population, as well as giving them excellent living standards as aforementioned, makes the people love us. Also what really spurred the union together was fighting a common enemy, Yushuu. As well as the common goal of wanting a better future for succeeding generations. Pan-Humanism, Utopian Socialism, as well as Jingoism, are just wonderful Comrade. Of course I have thousands of other ideas, however we shall talk about them later."

“Perfect. TurtleShroom crossed a once impregnable barrier between species during our foundation, uniting under the common bond of tha Church as well as the Good Lord above to forge harmony. Through our common religious convictions, we created a society of three types of pan-sapient peoples into one massive country. It has hitherto succeeded for centuries!”

"Yes. However, monotheistic Western Abrahamic religion are not appealing to us. We have despised them for numerous reasons, to which hatred towards certain foreign nations has spurred our unity too. Hatreds, vendettas, always bring people together. However, we have reasons too. Most of the people in the Teikoku, including we Japanese ourselves, had come to face often once in a while humiliation at the hands of Westerners, in certain occasions historically speaking. We are vying for revenge, however we find that the Europeans, are the best Westerners of all time for they have moved away from their old foolishness. Nevertheless, we also essentially have a pan-sentient or pan-sapient state in the sense of having intellectual dragons, vampires, werewolves, mythological or legendary creatures of all the numerous cultures within the Teikoku living in isolated areas. More human-like non-human sapients such as Kitsune or the likes live in the general population. We even succeeded in living or peacefully co-existing with vampires. Ponies, however, are also allowed... for this reason: when it comes to tanks or armour, they dominate. Therefore, recently we have begun to allow pony immigration to bring their engineers here to propel an ambitious future programme of next generation armoured vehicles."

“Harmony even crossed species barriers. After all, in TurtleShroom, we cannot quite tell one Asiatic from another. I am Japanese from The Greater Unified Collective Soviet People's Huangdiist Teikoku through and through, however I look like you, moreover frankly, I would have never known if you were Cambodian, Chinese, Commissarian, or even the same as mine. We shied away from influencing the market to forge our culture, instead using the power of the Church as well as the light of the schools to help implement some unity into three radically different groups of turtles, mushrooms, not to mention mankind. Whilst achieving the same brotherhood as you happen to have, we have not had to go nor molest all our Free Markets moreover destroy corporate innovation. then again, to each his own, since you are doing it really well.”

"Indeed, The Greater Unified Collective Soviet People's Huangdiist Teikoku has accomplished it quite well, before all these recent wars. As for innovation, we do not need a competitive environment to accomplish innovation. We might have some competitiveness, yet nor corporation wise. We are more cooperative based innovation where more than one intellectual pragmatist works together to solve numerous arrays of problems. Additionally, our incentive of competition against other nations is more than enough. Moreover, concerning militarily speaking of our navy per example: Following a strategy of "copy, improve, innovate", foreign ships of various designs are usually analysed in depth, their specifications often improved on, then are purchased in pairs so as to organize comparative testing in addition to improvements. We have nothing to worry about. Our intelligence services are even more effective than the Pakistani ISI, the Israeli Mossad, the MSS, the FSU, or the KGB combined. We have an international network of spies, double-agents, among other connections or 'assets', moreover we have accomplished our overseas intelligence gathering operations with brutal efficiency. As of current, over 500,000 spies are abroad doing their tasks."

After the Emperor finished, Mao Zedong came back to replying to that specific portion:

“Heh heh, I know ‘zactly what ya’ll mean. Gerontocracy has a lot of infection in mah people’s gov’ment. –and when I ramble, I ramble. Although, it seems to have caught on in the young ones, too. I;ve heard tourists complain that we’d go about givin’ the his’try of bathrooms when asked where one is.”

"Indeed. All of us old people have always faced gerontocracy, moreover our experiences gained over the long antiquated years of our lives have stricken our ego often in numerous occasions. In addition, yes, it is good to know we can cooperate."

As the sack of diamonds was arranged away the Comrade People's Emperor returned to talking with the Comradens. "Correct Mr Smith. We would rather live in a capitalist state than an anarchist or libertarian one, just as you would rather live in a Communist nation rather than an anarchist one. Anarchy, is the lack of centralised order, the lack of an established institution, the presence of disorder, extreme crime, warlord cliques, utter chaos, among other things. This is not a place I would want to live in." the Emperor shivered at the obscene thought. Then the Teikoku delegation sat down to enjoy all the delicious festivities of food coming towards them, save the 'Flaming Wine' to which the Emperor as well as the other Teikoku delegates refused, as the Communist regime had seen a rise in scientific enlightenment, then in turn, rendered alcohol obsolescent as well as illegal, among all the other drugs or substances banned in the Teikoku.

When the question about the Yue currency arose, the nuclear minister, People's Commissariat of Nuclear Affairs Tojo Hideki, had finally finished getting around the customs, entering the meeting room to sit down among the other delegates. The Emperor leaned to him to explain the events that had transpired, as well as for Tojo to explain the currency plan, to which Tojo was the one whom originally suggested it. "*Coughs* I am Tojo Hideki, War Marshal & People's Commissar of Nuclear Affairs, moreover I have come with General Fujita, whom has come to discuss the nuclear plan with me. As for the question of currency, adopting the material based Yue system would annihilate inflation, reducing the debts we owe as well as making them easier to pay, not to mention with all the immense gold deposits in the overall Teikoku, this makes things easier. It would benefit the Yue people in the same manner a member of the European Union would benefit from a shared currency. It would boost economic growth between our both nations, ease the boundaries of trading, as well as make it easier for us to rebuild, which in turn during our trading together, would pour circulation back into your economy, propelling it even further. However, I am not too sure how this would work, therefore the Debt Ombudsman shall give more."

{OOC: I'll have Samuel reply tomorrow.}

Leroy paused and turned around to look at the GEIJD Nuclear representative. With those same big eyes, and an identical smile of innocence, he nodded.

"The Shrine asked the benefit of you joining their currency. Your answer should be that you will exand their gold supplies so that rapidly increasing the users of the Yue Goden Coin, and likewise, smelting new money into existence won't inflate or disrupt the overall worth of the coin. You would need to increase the Yue reserves in direct proportion to the worth of the coin, directly multiplied by the amount of people who will use it as legal tender. In other words, tell them that you will be giving them tons upon tons upon tons of gold, and that their coin would not be devalued, but rather, used in wider, increasing the compatibility and scope of the Shrine economics. Yue denizens could go anywhere in your empire and buy anything without costly transactions and exchanges. To declare Yue money as yours gives the Yue an immense and eternal spring of power and control, because the Shrine, and the Shrine alone, controls the money supply and the worth of the money itself wherever it is deemed legal tender!"

Samuel overheard the Ombudsman's commentary, and he stepped in to add something important. (He obviously spoke this all in English.)

"Hold up, now. Before ya'll go about mergin' currencies, remembuh that it'll be the Yues hee-yuh in control. By buyin' slash minin', or sellin' gold, they can manipulate the price of their currency at their will. One of the most powerful things 'bout the Gold Standard is that it can be tweaked to be worth anything with little effort. In fiat currencies, ya can print more cash, but ya cain't deflate currency easy. With the Gold Standard, the Coin is proportional to the gold. The money supply IS the gold. There are two Golden Rules, Tojo. 'Treat others the way you want to be treated', and 'He who has the gold, rules."

He looked to Tojo with seriousness.

"A nation must control its money to control its sovereignty.-and its money must be controlled by its legislay-chuh, answerin' but to the people, n' the people alone! Even capitalists agree that money supply must be in the hands of the people. If you cede your sovereign right to control money ovuh to them Yues there, you'll cede the very thing that makes any economy. 'Fore ya agree ta such a risky exchange, I leave ya with the words of one of the most shady captains'a industry ta ever go a-bankin'. Mayer Rothschild once said: Give me control of a nation's money supply and I care not who makes the laws."

Compulsory Consumerist State

Postby Comrade Commisar » Tue May 22, 2012 9:40 pm

The High Priestesses ignored the massive argument erupting between the Turtleshroomian and Japanese delegates, mostly due to the fact that the government of the North Lands would remain within the reigns of the Imperial Shrine. They however, took keen interest in the statements made by Debt Ombudsman Leroy, and the great benefits it would have towards their people. Speaking in the Yue Language, High Priestess Feng addressed the other two High Advisor's accordingly.

"Not only would we bring in more gold and silver per year," She whispered, "We would have much power in the Far Eastern States, which would expand the influence of the Imperial Shrine three ways. The Far Easterners here would also be in debt towards the Imperial Shrine for our revitalization of their economy, and we could call upon them to destroy the churches that plague our way into other lands. It would be what the High Priestess of Yoitsu would wish to happen, would it not?"

"Quite so," Lang smiled, knowing that the foreign representatives would not understand her, "The Sixteenth High Priestess wished for naval expansion and having our influence upon foreign lands, and the Eighteenth High Priestess wished for our foothold on other lands to be quite strong. This economic deal might be the foothold we need to advance within the Far East..."

"Since it is within popular opinion of two High Priestesses, I guess my opinion is overruled." Yuan Li said, sipping some butter tea, "However, you shall remember that it is only decree if High Priestess Yue makes it so. Otherwise, even the signatures of the Great Wolf and Phoenix shall not be enough to enact this change."

Just before she was about to return towards the Japanese delegacy, Samuel warned them of the consequences of adopting the Yue Gold Coin, something that did not go well with either Lang or Feng. Immediately the two returned to angered whispering in the Yue Language.
"Hmph, that South Lander is attempting to sabotage our efforts in the Far East!" Sneered Feng as she lit a fire within her hands, "I think I'll have a word or two with that South Lander after the Summit."

"Calm down, Phoenix." Spoke Lang, smirking to herself while raising a mug of Yue Flaming Wine, "The South Lander has already strained relations with the Far Easterners over government decrees, not to mention that the South Lands are within debt themselves and are in no position to be distributing economic advice. I understand your hatred of the South Land's Church, Feng, but do not attempt to defy the Imperial Shrine merely for revenge. Or, do you not recall your little entanglement with the Fourteenth Priestess?"
"Ergh." Feng said as she extinguished her flame. Lang smirked at her responce and leaned forward, whispering personally towards the Phoenix.

"Worry not, we have an advantage against those South Landers you despite so much." Grinned Lang, looking for a split second at Leroy, "Taking everything into context, that boy is very knowledgable of the South Land's economy, and economics in general. Guessing from his naive behavior, I suppose that the South Lands have not taught him much about the world or its people. He is easily worth thousands upon thousands of scrolls within the Imperial Archives..."
"Perceptive." Smiled Feng as she got the hint, turning to Ai, who was partially asleep against Feng, "Say Ai, seeing how you've worked hard, why do you not play with the Turtleshroom Debt Ombudsman there? I'm sure he will gladly help you count all your donations."

Nodding, the young tengu quietly asked the Debt Ombudsman if he wished to help her count her donations in her backroom, which he acknowledged gleefully. Walking towards the main hall, Ai gladly took her donation box back to her room (which was more pushing it back), and unlocked it to reveal the multiple Khek, Asahina, Tsao and Yue coins and dollars, each shining of bronze, copper, iron, silver, gold and a variety of other metals. Closing the thin backroom door, she explained to Leroy the worth and composition of each coin - as well the the story of the sailors who donated them.

Yuan looked at the quiet whispering of Feng and Lang, and the movements of the young tengu, eventually concluding that Ai probably left in boredom of the old rantings of the two High Priestesses. Turning towards the Japanese delegation, she pulled out a scroll and immediately began writing out a document with the fine strokes of her brush.

"Honored Japanese," She stated, not looking up, "It appears that the High Priestesses here have agreed to allow you to adopt the Yue Gold Coin as your form of currency, 'tis the charity of the Imperial Shrine who wish to preserve your peoples. However, in return, the Japanese shall repay the Imperial Shrine with Gold and Silver, with the value of repayment dependent upon the composition of the coin, the multitude of individuals using it, and the costs of shipping the coin to the Far East. This document is the binding contract which shall allow the Japanese to utilize the Yue Gold Coin, which shall then be verified by the High Priestess of Yoitsu. Should the Japanese fail to repay the Yue, or if other factors are to become involved, issue of the Yue Gold Coin shall immediately halt and negotiations shall ensue until conditions revert towards this document, or the document is altered to verify with conditions. For the purposes of the Imperial Archive, three copies shall be created; one for the Japanese, one for the Imperial Archives of Yoitsu, and one for the Imperial Archives of Crescent Bay. Upon the united signatures of the Priestess of this Shrine, the Japanese Delegation, High Priestesses that are currently present, and the High Priestess of Yue, this document shall become valid and shall immediately take effect." She stated as she signed the document and handed it to the Japanese.

"My, my," Said Lang as she drank, "It seems as if this Summit has been revolving around the South Land and Far East economic and government policies, with the South Land relationship with the Greater Equines taking more of a side-role. Is there any things the Air Equines, Greater Equines, South Landers, or Far Easterns wish to discuss? History, economics, culture... umm..." The High Priestess laughed drunkenly, "Oh my, it seems that I have forgotten any other subjects... but yes, do you wish to discuss of anything else while the High Priestesses, South Land Diplomat, Far East Government, Air Equine Corporate Representative, or the Greater Equine Representative are present?"

Story Turtleshroom! I didn't know that Leroy was whispering, I just assumed you minimized the text for compactness purposes! Ah, yet I do not want to restructure my entire post based on this new found information. Ah, perhaps I should write these posts when I'm fully awake... sorry friend. >_<

Samuel turned away and began to discuss with the GEIJD delegate again, leaving little Leroy to stand where he was, smiling and grasping his hands together.

Comrade Commisar wrote:"Worry not, we have an advantage against those South Landers you despite so much." Grinned Lang, looking for a split second at Leroy, "Taking everything into context, that boy is very knowledgable of the South Land's economy, and economics in general. Guessing from his naive behavior, I suppose that the South Lands have not taught him much about the world or its people. He is easily worth thousands upon thousands of scrolls within the Imperial Archives..."

Leroy waved warmly when he was glanced at. This was the first time he had smiled widely. The goofy teeth and oversized robes gave a rather adorable perspective as he waved his outstretched arm vibrantly.

Comrade Commisar wrote:"Perceptive." Smiled Feng as she got the hint, turning to Ai, who was partially asleep against Feng, "Say Ai, seeing how you've worked hard, why do you not play with the Turtleshroom Debt Ombudsman there? I'm sure he will gladly help you count all your donations."

Nodding, the young tengu quietly asked the Debt Ombudsman if he wished to help her count her donations in her backroom, which he acknowledged gleefully. Closing the thin backroom door, she explained to Leroy the worth and composition of each coin - as well the the story of the sailors who donated them.

"I'm ready!"

Leroy eagerly nodded as he rolled up his sleeves and wriggled his fingers. Having memorized the numbers, he stepped forward, weakly pushing the child aside. Then, he struggled and grunted to tip the box over as the kid looked on, confused. The box tipped over, and the money spilled over the floor. Leroy sat down with the money as Ai looked on.

With speed normally found in cartoons, Leroy sorted the money and counted it. About five minutes passed as he swiped coins into piles of each. He repeated this until all coins, paper, and precious medals were sorted into a pile. When he finished, Leroy removed his glasses, threw back his head, and made the same dial-up sounds as he did in front of the Priestesses. About a minute of that passed, and Leroy smiled again.

Leroy then proceeded to tell Ai the exact worth of the donation boxes' contents. He nodded when he finished, grasping his hands together.

"That's always fun. Thank you for letting me count money. I love counting money so much."

He rubbed his nose and adjusted his glasses absentmindedly as Ai formulated a response.

"That was a ton of fun, as I said. 'Wanna do something next, friend?"

Upon the united signatures of the Priestess of this Shrine, the Japanese Delegation, High Priestesses that are currently present, and the High Priestess of Yue, this document shall become valid and shall immediately take effect." She stated as she signed the document and handed it to the Japanese.

"Mayer Rothschiiiiiiiiiild...." Samuel muttered, under his breath.

{OOC: No one in TurtleShroom thinks the Yues are after them or trying to dominate the region. They think "South Lands" is a slur, not a designation of future territory.}

Tojo Hideki could not help himself except grinning at how amusing the Comradens & TurtleShroomers happened to be in their little arguments. Additionally, Tojo Hideki, had been one of those 'special linguists' whom have studied every single language outside of the Teikoku to better understand with whom they were dealing with. Of course, the Comrade People's Emperor was the other one with such a designation, however he pretended not to know what the Yue were talking about. Tojo on the other hand, decided to amuse himself with it. "Angry over the TurtleShroomian warning I see? Efforts in our lands I notice? Even with this, our nation is still intending to move forward with the plan, however, we need to discuss this gold standard topic more in depth. First, we only need to adopt it because our current currency, the Imperial Akatsuki Yen, is hyper inflated due to all our issues. Second of our contention is that we shall adopt the gold standard of Yue since we wish to forge common trading relations with their state in which we could both benefit from it. Another important thing to maintain in mind is that we shall never stay to the Yue currency for more than two decades. After this we shall revert to a gold standard of our own. Furthermore it would not be the Yue alone controlling our money. The gold standard shall be adopted for the purposes of foreign exchanges, trading, exotic procurements, among other non-internal transactions." Tojo paused, looking at the Emperor for him to continue.

"Indeed," the Comrade People's Emperor gleefully noted, "It shall be our main currency. Internally speaking, to make sure we do not loose complete control over our money, we shall maintain our own gold standard, to which we shall call the People's Golden Yen Dinar, which shall have an exchange rate following the current value of gold in international markets. However, I also wish to ask the Debt Ombudsman if it is ever possible to somehow increase gold money in the same way we can do so with fiat currency, if sufficient gold reserves are mined to the surface for this purpose. Our state would of course, for obvious economic reasons, keep the exact amount of gold injected into the market an utter secret, moreover the military plans to adopt a method of cloning gold in sufficient quantities to smuggle around for our people, our government, as well as our military. This too however, shall be maintained highly classified information to the extent where no one would really know where all the gold is coming, therefore the overall international value of gold, shall never descend. Instead, it will remain as it is, since the international community will have no way to know how much gold we have either. Nonetheless, the cloning research project is under way, moreover as soon as we find a feasible way to clone something (or someone), we shall be ready." the Emperor finished his idea with a grin, then recklessly exchanged a seductive, erotic grin of a look to Lang, eyeing her in a sexual manner, yet trying his not to make it obvious.

After this, the People's Commissar of Nuclear Affairs (Nuclear Minister) Tojo Hideki resumed where he left off. "I also, before going ahead with adopting the Yue Gold Coins as our temporary gold standard currency to curb inflation as well as re-establish stabilised markets in addition to prices, we shall also need to know how we[ would benefit from sharing the gold standard with another nation, this time implying that we have more gold in stock than the Yue themselves shall ever imagine. Not to mention the massive diamond, gold, as well as silver reserves discovered back in Fukakku-Shingen, as well as Dragon's Utopia. We technically hold the advantage in terms of gold or precious metal/gemstone reserves, therefore, as you said Samuel, we rule. Nevertheless, the Yue would still benefit, moreover I do not see how your theory would possibly apply since both us as well as the Yue people shall commonly share & manage the gold currency together. Also, to whoever is the main leader of the Yue, we have no problem with your expansion into our lands economically speaking. So long as it benefits us by resurrecting our nation entirely out of the current depression, it is not a problem, also, so long as our own sovereignty is not held in question." Tojo Hideki said in a serious manner. However, the more hard-lined in attitude Mao Tse-Tung, unaffected by the lust for the women in this room, began to burst into an episode of anger.

"You have said what?! Samuel, the Shrine would control our money, the prices, could make unfair transactions... have I heard this properly? Awaken from your lustful slumber, Comrade Emperor; awaken yourself out of this trance Tojo Hideki! Both of you need to realise we are about to get ourselves into something entirely compromising of our state's sovereignty. It could reverse all our good work, all the money the people have in their pockets would be suddenly insecure! We need to know if there is a compromising way to adopt the Yue currency without inflicting damage on the people's well=being, nor their personal wealth. What areas of our nation can we adopt Yue currency for without affecting the people; moreover where can we maintain fiat currency as counterbalance? This question is addressed to you, Debt Ombudsman. Also, highest Yue representative, I am unaffected by the spell in this room, I want to know how we would benefit from this." Mao Zedong perhaps overreacted when he spoke, his temper, his paranoia, as well as his sheer anger rising to over-the-top levels. He bellowed in a harsh, merciless manner, moreover his implication that the Yue cast a spell was only his way of saying he was the only one realising the problem with the Yue currency, whilst the other Teikoku representatives in the room were either too desperate to fix their economy they would almost resort to anything, or that the Emperor was preoccupied with women.

"While the Emperor may want to sign this document almost immediately, I want to make I know what we are getting ourselves into." Mao Zedong continued... this was going to become an interesting summit due to Mao's sudden outburst... very interesting indeed.

"Hmph," High Priestess Lang smiled at Tojo, "So it appears that you understand the Yue Language. I'm impressed, it is quite hard to master the language of the isolated North Lands, although I must admit, the Japanese runic characters match the Yue runic characters in an almost exact form..."

"Far Easterners, remember that the Yue People do not need to allow your people to adopt our gold coin, as it does not benefit us as much as it benefits you." Spoke High Priestess Yuan Li, "Your paper currencies are of lesser value, and you merely wish to adopt our coin as such will allow your paper currencies more value. Recall that the Yue People need not establish trade with the Far East, as we receive all necessities we need from the Far North and the Tsao State. In any situation, your actions as recorded by the Imperial Archives are not of favourable investment, with the ever increasing number of issues of the Far East faces to this day." Yuan Li said, not particularly favouring the Far Eastern delegates at this point.

The High Priestess returned to her brush, writing down the Japanese plans for currency manipulation and alchemy, making it known to the Japanese that all events within the presence of the Yue would be recorded for documentation within the Imperial Archives. Suffice to say, she was beginning to form tensions between the Japanese and herself, while High Priestess Lang simply smiled at the Emperor's almost humorous behavior.

"Heh," Smirked High Priestess Yuan Li as Tojo went upon bragging of the vast wealth of the Japanese, "Fukakku-Shingen, the land of Warlords, and you state that the recent findings of these stockpiles and the overall gold stockpile of the Far East outweigh the stockpiles of the Imperial Shrine? If that is of the case, Far Easterner, why do you not simply mint your own coins and issue your own currency? Be wary, Far Easterns, the Imperial Shrine has accumulated massive amounts of gold and silver for many centuries from many lands, you know not of our reserves, nor us of yours - be warned that such conclusions can easily lead to dire consequences. As for your benefits, is the benefit of rising out of economic depression not enough? Hmm?"

The questions of High Priestess Yuan Li sent the room to a brief silence, until Mao Tse-Tung immediately strung into a rage. High Priestess Feng Hua smiled at Mao's rage, lighting a large flame within her hands before addressing the man.

"You have cause quite the commotion within this Shrine, from bothering the Priestess of this Shrine with your trivial needs, to disturbing the harmony of this holy place with your arrogance. You Far Easterners have already stated yourself that you are using undervalued currencies, that you are within an economic depression, that you need help to reestablish the dying flame that is your 'Empire'. Do not bother us with trivial questions, Far Easterner. Do not raise your voice upon the people that are attempting to save you. Otherwise, you may find yourself in a greater predicament that you might imagine." Feng said, her flame growing larger before extinguishing it and returning to her place beside the High Priestesses.

Meanwhile, Ai had finished placing the now neatly piled coins within their appropriate chests before returning to Leroy.
"You count very fast!" She nodded, "If they had people like you counting all the gold and silver from the Treasure Ships, they could be done in days rather than weeks!"

That was when the young Tengu and Turtleshroomer heard the loud speaking of the High Priestess Feng, which easily made both freeze in slight fear. Smiling, Ai pushed the donation box back upright as she dug around in her fairly unorganized backroom to pull out an old checker board she had received from an Asahinan man.

"I think it'd be best to stay within the back room for a while," she smiled nervously, "What do you say, Leroy...?"

Leroy gave Ai a look of confusion.

"I don't see what's wrong. She's not mad at us."

He looked to the checker board.

"I prefer chess, personally, but checkers is a TurtleShroomian classic. I'd love to play"

He sat down as Ai laid off the pieces.

"Hmph, I can see what this is about, High Priestess Feng. However, you are not the only one armed with elemental power. Which is exactly why he is here." Mao Tse-Tung retorted, whilst pointing at the Comrade People's Emperor to emphasise his point. He then added in a snarled anger, "Our nation is not an 'Empire' structured along Western Imperialistic lines. We follow the ideals of Benevolent Imperialism & Social-Imperialism, not to mention Proletarian Internationalism. Our Teikoku was forged by a Unification Pact peacefully signed then ratified by representatives of numerous nations. We after this then proceeded to 'annex' beyond our Teikoku, to obtain lands such as Fukakku-Shingen. Otherwise, the original Greater Unified Collective Soviet People's Huangdiist Teikoku, or its predecessor the Sino-Japanese Union, has been structured along the lines of Pan-Asianism, then in turn evolved into Pan-Humanism, for the sake of achieving a socialistic utopia. We collectively worked together to create this Teikoku. Moreover, just for your information, Far Eastern are not our only lands. Now, you should really answer my question in the meantime Debt Ombudsman. How will this work if our sovereignty gets compromised? Why would I let a Shrine or religious nation take over the state apparatus? Unless... oh, I see now." suddenly Mao Tse-Tung, for a certain reason had begun to manage a queer grin before sitting himself down.

He now understood why the Teikoku's Comrade People's Emperor was reckless enough to compromise state sovereignty. It was in fact a clever ploy, that by temporarily placing themselves under someone else it would allow their debts to cease to exist until these debts are permanently gone to which the Teikoku could slowly slither away to its complete sovereignty. However, Mao questioned whether the Emperor was worried of the consequences or not, to which these consequences were the people's plight. Nevertheless he kept his thoughts to himself, satisfied that he had an answer to his question. In the meantime the nuclear minister Tojo Hideki began to resume the discussion in the appropriate manner. "Yes High Priestess Lang, both me as well as someone else in this room understand the language of Yue. Of course, our runic characters seem similar indeed. In the meantime, Do not call us arrogants High Priestess Feng. While Mao Tse-Tung's behaviour was absolutely unnecessary I do implore some of his points or concerns do not go unfounded. However, I think he has answered his own questions. I however shall outline the plan we have in mind. Our currency is hyper-inflated, moreover unable to continue to exist, not to mention it is entirely impossible to repay debts with this situation in mind, no matter how much fiat based currency we print, we shall devalue it even faster. We do have immense gold reserves, however they shall not be touchable for the next two decades as these areas are reserved for nuclear weapons stockpiles during our current times."

Taking a short pause he then resumed. "The Greater Unified Collective Soviet People's Huangdiist Teikoku is a nation of nations that has been bent on nuclear armaments for endless years. We have prioritised nuclear weapons of mass destruction as an art, as well as something too beautiful to resist. Nuclear power... is just so beautiful one could not imagine why our government loves seeing delicious mushroom clouds erupting over some-place, then try to taste one of those said clouds. However, what I mean is that some of our mines have been shut down to place nuclear warheads in excess since we have been running out of room in normal stockpiles, or to use mine-shafts as a place for civilians to remain in just if a nuclear apocalypse happens over our own heads. Part of our reasons for this is that we perceive ourselves to be in a state of perpetual war, moreover that our ideological foes have always been trying to nuclear bomb us for years, therefore, to remain a top contestant in nuclear weapons, we have done so. After all, no one dares to invade a country that loves arming itself with nuclear weapons, no one dares to do so at all. Especially if said country is armed with omnipotent air defence systems designed to destroy enemy nuclear weapons. Nonetheless, this is not my point either.

"What my point really happens to be, is this. Due to many of our own mines being used for non-mining purposes, we cannot easily draw our own resources. As for the Home Islands themselves, obviously no one will ever be able to return there for the next decades. Our divine people, are being evacuated to other portions of the Teikoku, especially our neighbouring Chinese brothers where they shall host post-nuclear survivors until the Home Islands are ready to return to. As for our resources elsewhere, Fukakku-Shingen may be a place of warlords or Yushuu, however as we slowly begin to regain ground, we are capturing their wealth, their reserves, among other economically important materials. We do not just have those lands however. We have a territory Stalin named Vladigrad in the Oilean continent. We have Sakamoto Fruria. We have the Dragon's Utopia in the Luziycan discovered continent of 'Slavia', which is a successfully prosperous land. We have a land called New Hokkaido elsewhere. Then finally, we have a land known as New Kitakyushu & Dominatus, named by one of our Roman Generals. It is those lands that have what we need. However, it will be dangerous to get resources to the main Teikoku, as our enemies have blockaded some of our lands.

As for you High Priestess Yuan Li, indeed some of what you have said is correct. Certainly, rising out of economic depression sounds perfectly attractive to me, therefore I shall sign. Mao does not need to sign, however if the Emperor & Uchiha Madara have their (with emphasis) signatures on these papers, the opinions of the rest of us count for nothing. Right Emperor? After all, I think Mao is the only one opposed to this. We shall move ahead with this immediately, there is no time to waste. Without further ado, may we rise from this excruciating economic depression once then for all."
Tojo Hideki grinned in glee as he took his pen from the torso pocket of his overcoat, signing in the third signature slots of the Yue papers. This was soon followed by Nguyen Trai Van in the fifth lines, by Cambodian Kempeitai War Marshal Phirun Vanna Soun in the fourth slots, by the Senior Cloistered Comrade People's Seii Taishogun Uchiha Madara in the second slots, by the Senior Cloistered Comrade People's Emperor in the first signature lines, by General Chen Bingde in the sixth lines, then by Mao Tse-Tung, whom, reluctantly placed his signature on the bottom lines of the papers.

Then, the Comrade People's Emperor looked back to Lang to make the special look once more, before returning to his seat, followed in turn by the other Teikoku delegations, in unison, in one single heartbeat, as if they were all connected to each other. Then, he rose up once again, yet waving his hand to keep the others seated, to speak his opinion in the Yue language, "Yes, I am that other person in this room capable of speaking your language. However, not only is High Priestess Lang so beautiful, however the gold coins of Yue are excellent. The value simply astonishes me, therefore I want my nation to use them. However, the question also now becomes, how does the distribution of legal tender begin for our people without reducing their personal wealth? Is there a way to trade the paper currency's original value in exchange for the gold? We need the Yue standard, however we wish to make sure the people are prepared for the change. Also, will it affect the Yue in any way, positively or negatively? Or should everything proceed without a problem? You need not answer however, I already agreed to the plan. May it begin whenever possible. I however, must leave soon. The war is calling me, the flag is calling, my countrymen are calling me. I shall leave all other matters to you Tojo Hideki.

"As soon as the meeting is over, I shall depart, despite me so desperately wishing to remain here in this harmonious shrine. To which, speaking of, to redeem our honour for Mao's outburst, I shall later return with additional diamonds for your collection. In the meantime, I need my questions answered if possible, as well as shall continue to remain here to listen to other alliance related topics, including something I wanted to propose for a long time now: The Dragon's Fury Unified Armed Forces, a concept of having an alliance military-command in case of a crisis that requires collective military action. We need to know if the Yue accept this, if the Tsao accept this, moreover if others are fine with the idea."
the Emperor said, although he left out the other reason for him wanting to stay, the obvious reason that could be seen in his face as he could not help yet look at High Priestess/Advisor Lang with the same erotica from before. Nonetheless, he did make an important decision to restore meeting calm. He told Mao Tse-Tung to leave the room, as well as he told the Cambodian commander to leave as well. Chen Bingde, also left, as a precaution to keep watch on the other two as they leave the shrine.

"My apologies for the behaviour of some of us. However, I must, in their defence, admit we are old people, therefore we tend to have our tempers. Furthermore, this does not go without mentioning that some of us, including myself, have paranoia in terms of foreign policy. We often do not know who to turn to for help, nor are we too sure either if things shall be fine. We have insecurities at the moment, so some of us have become quite unstable. Therefore, please accept this formal apology on my part. The shrine shall also receive further diamond concessions at a later time." he apologetically stated as both Mao Tse-Tung in addition to Phirun Vanna Soun left the room with Chen Bingde. When this was done, the Emperor went to say, "Is our proposal of the armed forces unified command acceptable? Also, if we turn over our nuclear weapons, how shall each Comraden nation handle them?"
