Welcome to the Deadliest Warrior Version 2.0! A bit of a changeup this time, as there will be two separate divisions. The first will be warriors from teh fearsome and immortal region of Gholgoth and the other shall be nations from across the world. Gholgoth shall face gholgoth and the world will fight amongst itself until there is only one left from each bracket. Then they will face off to determine who is deadliest.

You may participate as both judge and player, but not in the same match. I also reserve the right to make any changes I feel to anything at any time for any reason as long as it concerns keeping this RP going. I may also refuse applicants who show poor RP history. Only one warrior per tech level per applicant.

Warrior Bio: The Holy Warriors are more than a warrior elite, a religious order, or the first, last, and best line of defense of the Church- they are the very essence of the Holy Marsh Himself. From its humble start in the mountains of Pushania responding to Cultist aggression, they have shown themselves to be the embodiment of His well. They have engaged in not only ever war and campaign waged by the Church, but has spearheaded nearly every successful campaign and are the key to the greatest victories of the Militaristic Theocratic Empire. From the deserts and badlands of Mushania to the vast jungles of Pushania, to the high mountains of Atrea to the dense urban sprawls that house the Marshite people, Holy Warriors have engaged His enemies in totality from the start and will continue to do so until the very religion is wiped from history.

A life of a Holy Warrior is one of fire and then death. You are born into it and from birth are trained in war, faith, and loyalty. Each child is separated from one's mother and father and placed in with children of roughly the same age range. These children shall then grow together, train together, and eventually fight together- this bond is unbreakable. The training itself is intense and never-ending, with most days after the age of five being fifteen hours of training. Along with combat training, all are instilled with fiery zealotry and loyalty to the church.

At around the age of sixteen, the companies are then deployed in active-observation roles, where they are given somewhat simple tasks(such as clearing a city block of opposing militia). For two years, the company participates in such activities until it is deemed combat ready and are fully initialized into the Holy Warriors.

From there, the entire life of a Holy Warrior is to train, pray, and fight until you die or are disabled and other uses found for you. Most die. However, a Holy Warrior veteran is an experienced combat elite who considers victory to be a Holy Mission and has experienced the heaviest possible fighting. A Holy Warrior finds himself just as comfortable in large-scale fights as in small-scale, special operations.

Physically, Holy Warriors have been bred over the many generations to be as near-perfect a physical specimen as possible. While there are, of course, mistakes, taken as a whole, this program has been a success. While not in any way, shape, or form superior to fit normal people, a Holy Warrior is genetically pre-disposed to physical excellence. This is compounded by the fierce physical training.

Skillwise, Holy Warriors become experts with their weapons long before most militaries even accept recruits. The continued training and experience means that weapons operation of all personal weapons, most weapons used by opposing nations, and weapons used by allies, are carried out at expert levels without flaw. This makes a Holy Warrior force that is running out of supplies just as deadly as the weapons they can find after they have run out, and it makes them far more combat effective.

Tactically, Holy Warriors spend much of their life learning the ways of war and acting on those principles. This means that their tactics are oriented to work in certain terrain; tactics that work in the deep jungle do not work in the desert and vice versa. Holy Warriors who are born in certain areas of the country(and thus in different climates) tend to be somewhat superior to other Holy Warriors in their own climates, but this is perhaps more of a nitpick than anything else, as Holy Warriors dominate any landscape on Earth.

Warrior Bio: The Capitol Police are built with one thing in mind, War, they are trained even before birth using neural stimulation techniques that prevents portions of the brain that deals with emotions from developing properly, giving Captiol Police that much feared cold, emotionless state, throughout childhood Capitol Police are trained daily in combat techniques, Military Doctrines, and servitude and loyalty to The Reich, any that do not meet the criteria are executed. there can be no failure in The Capitol Police Battalions.

Capitol Police are trained to use their Protect Gear as an advantage and not as an immunity, they fight with this in mind with close squad cohesion allowing them to protect the other squad members weak points and move with frightening speed, to anyone not trained in Capitol Police Protect gear, it seems bulky and unwieldy, restrictive at times, but to a Capitol Police Trooper who has spent much of his life wearing a set, it is a frightening asset.

Capitol Police will follow orders without question, they will not stop until an objective has been achieved, they will show no mercy, no pity, no remorse and cannot be bargined or reasoned with, A Capitol Police Battalion entering a village, town or city is a sentence of Death. They will spare No One.



Historical Battles/Significance:Extermination of Jagada, in this Operation, 100,000 Capitol Police units systematically annihilated around 4.5billion Jagite men, women and children after the Jagite Government refuted the Kravenite Rule that was enclosed over the country like an Iron Fist, the majority of the population were shot and burnt on immense funeral pyres, while the rest were rounded up and herded like animals into coal, iron ore and other mineral workings, the former country of Jagada is now known as Neo Cydonia and is built upon the corpses of millions of Jagites.

The Battle for Kravonika, In this Operation elements of the 5th, 14th, and 23rd Capitol Police Battalions met the Sentinels of Damien Dreadfire, here the Capitol Police unleashed the fearsome Three stage Bio Weapon where 500,000 Sentinels were instantly wiped out, giving the Capitol Police enough time to counter with a proper defence, in the end however the fledgling Reich was unable to push back Damiens Forces and were ordered to surrender by the cowardly Panzer Oberst Lorn who is still wanted by Reichmarshall Helghan under Thought Crimes Against Humanity.

Weapons

MG42: While retaining the same designation as the WWII Variant, the Kraven MG42 is a much different version, made from lighter composite materials and featuring many recoil dampening design features it remains as fearsome as it was in WWII, again often seen as unwieldy by others, Capitol Police wield this machine like it was an extension to their being, with an effective range of 500-1000 meters (yards, which ever is more sensible OOC) the Trooper can lay down a heavy stream of fire while still being able move freely.

18" Bayonet: made from hardened steel with a titanium shaft and titanium edged blade, the Bayonet is attached to the MG42 giving them greater reach over their counterparts, again some see this as unwieldy but with years of training and indoctrination, these soldiers can use this weapon just as effectively as another other weapon in service today, it is truely a terrifying sight to behold.

.50cal Desert Eagle: standard side arm, only seen when being used in summary executions, the side arm is rarely if at all ever used as an actual combat weapon.[/spoiler]

"Expert 1" as he shall be referred to as (all call signs are top secret), is a male of roughly 35 years of age, and specializes in assault and demolitions. He is rated an expert marksman and serves as the point man for his unit, and is highly proficient in close quarters.

"Expert 2" is a male of roughly 29 years of age, and is a master marksman. He is the sharpshooter for his unit, and is highly proficient with both rifles and pistols.

Warrior Bio: Sentinel Stalkers are the most elite of all Freekish black ops forces, and hold the distinction of being the only genetically modified humans currently in service in the Empire. They are engineered to be faster, stronger, more intelligent and more responsive than their Sentinel kin, and are sent on missions which are extremely dangerous and highly classified. They are issued equipment which is (as rumor has it) several generations better than what is currently fielded by the Freekish Army, and often experimental in nature. Stalkers are trained from birth as other Sentinels are, but they receive specialized training in black operations and use of advanced and mission specific gear far beyond that of their brethren. The Stalkers' training emphasizes stealth techniques above all else, and as such they are trained extensively in melee weapons and hand to hand combat. In tests it was determined that a single Stalker could best up to five of his Sentinel counterparts. [More pending]
Historical Battles/Significance, Lifestyle: Nearly all Stalker missions are extremely classified, and the only known operations have been during the Second Freekish Civil War, and the invasion of Doomingsland. In the latter conflict, the Stalkers were primarily responsible for penetrating and destroying enemy defenses so as to allow the main invasion force to land.

Ms. Cloelia (nicknamed Chloe), is the head archivist of the Caesars Imperial Public Library in the capital of Krytopia. In being so, she has had many audiences with the Caesar herself, and as such has hand many encounters with members of the Black Cobra IX Legion, the legion which is most responsible for the protection of the Caesar and her Imperial Family. Having interviewed members of the Special Force legions, members of the Imperium High Command and used her position to commit herself to research on their origins, having also published many books on the Black Cobra from what non-classified bits of information she can, she is the perfect public expert on the Black Cobra.

Mr. Cato (nicknamed Prince), was a former member of the Black Cobra Legions and has seen many action on the battlefield. Having gone through the training process, gone through the order of battle and the intense teachings put on him to make him perfectly center of mind, he is the best candidate for an expert on the characteristics and tactics of the Black Cobra.


Part 2 - Warrior

Warrior Bio: The Black Cobra Special Force Legions are a highly organized and ancient warrior order originating all the way back to the first tribe settlements in 7000 B.C. who called themselves the Black Cobra (they would later become the ancestors of all modern day Kylarnatians). They operate in two branches: The Black Cobra, who are the general operations team on the field of battle, and then there's the 'Sisters' or Black Cobra Assassins, who are the vendetta group of the Special Force Legions, who're cannibalistic women who specialize in intelligence gathering, assassination, and seduction.

The Black Cobra, who fight in the heat of battle, are 'human tanks'. They march into battle with one thing in mind: destroy everything that stands in the way of victory. Completely the opposite of their standard Legionnaire counterparts, who try to preserve as much infrastructure as possible and take over the populace peacefully, the Black Cobra adopt the cold-hearted manner of their ancestors, and do what it takes to reach and/or complete the objective. They'll tear down buildings and strike fear into the populace if it means that they'll win. Failure, especially if the order is from the Caesar herself, is not an option. Because of this, they're only deployed at rational moments, or when the target is deemed 'unnecessary' to preserve.

Members are chosen from the best performers either from current servicemen in the Caesars Imperial Armed Forces or from the best students who end their school careers with top scores in their standard, higher and elite Tactical Training (they do not necessarily have to show interest in wanting to join the army). From that point they go through a highly classified training program, in how to use their new and better equipment and how to work together as an elite squad. They're also physically and mentally conditioned, through several techniques, to ensure that what they experience in battle will not deter them and they're strong enough to achieve all that is possible. They're then sent into the dark marshes of Kylarnatia, where the tribal Black Cobra still live today, with nothing more then a combat knife and the clothes on their backs, to learn the art of survival and hand-to-hand combat in their most original forms. They also learn the ways of the Black Cobra, to become one of them and a true warrior who fears nothing.

Historical Battles/Significance, Lifestyle: Very few Operations of the Black Cobra are actually publicly known of or spoken, but the most memorable to date would be the Siege of the Citadel, in Tiami, Sondria, when a force of over five-thousand Black Cobra brought the entire city to the ground after the city had been bombarded by artillery for weeks. This saw the end of Operation Dragonscale, which was the invasion of Tiami. This struck huge amounts of fear into the hearts of the Tiamian populace, and is credited to be one of the reasons why the Tiamians immediately surrendered after that, even though they vowed they'd fight on even if their capital fell.

Expert one: Sword Sergeant of the Crown Army Litranyr Filamei (ret.): Previously the Sword Sergeant of the Army, the highest NCO rank achievable in the Crown Army, Filamei was a serviceman of thirty years in the 2nd Guard Rifles before retiring in 1997. Since becoming the curator of the 2nd Guards' Museum, located on the grounds of their Headquarters in Televei Fortress District, he is both a veteran of many, major conflicts (the Inquisitorian Crisis, as well as the Asakuran and Mirschendillin Insurgencies) and a valuable repository of all knowledge concerning the Guards, ranging from their armaments to every tenet of their traditions.
Expert two: Lieutenant Colonel Formaren Tebelnei: Current serving 2iC of the 2se GuPIF. Tebelnei has served as a field commander in every major engagement the 2nd Guards Rifles have participated in following the 1994 military reform programme, an active and respected leading light of the reconfiguration of the 2nd Guards Rifles into a 21st century quick response fighting force of the highest calibre. His knowledge does not lie in the history of the Guards, as is the case with Litranyr Filamei; rather, he is able to bring his own particular experiences as a highly ranked officer within the Regiment to the table.

Warrior Bio: The City of Anemos Rei 2nd Guard Rifles Regiment (Anemonian: 2se Guardise Partitionyr Infanteryr Fusilise dei Anemos Rei is, alongside the City of Anemos Rei 1st Guard Rifles Regiment, one of the two Loyalist Regiments raised by Lyteren Erenthi I during his campaign against the Regency of the Empire in 1858. As a result, they are now the Senior Mechanised Regiments of the Crown Army, bearing the insignia of the City of Anemos Rei on their Guards' bearskins.

Performing with distinction throughout the wars of the early 20th Century, the 2nd Guard Rifles were especially noted for their conversion to the first mechanised infantry group in the Anemonian Army in 1943. Following the collapse of the Great Empire, during which they established themselves as a strictly Loyalist regiment, the Guard Rifles were deployed during the course of the Inquisitorian Crisis, where they proved themselves in deep marshland combat against the Inquisitorians, and, after being designated a Selective Entry unit alongside the other Guards formations of the Army (amongst some other unit groupings), the 2nd Guard Rifles were deployed frequently in hotspots like Mirschendellin and Asakura, where they have proven to be well disciplined, trained and unbreakable troops, gaining the nickname 'Winterwolves' in fierce snowstorm combat against Mirschendellin's guerilla groups.

Special Forces they are not. But though they do not bear the Four Service emblem of Special Operations Amalgamated Command, the 2nd Guard Rifles Regiment is nonetheless the equal of any elite grouping within it; their unique combination of rigorous training, strict discipline, hard earned experience and sheer skill come together to create a uniquely terrifying infantry formation. With selective entry pulling only the best into their ranks, they make the most of their wealth of combat experience to give the best recruits the best training and, ultimately, the best leadership on the battlefield. A Mechanised formation, they hit their enemies hard; the 'Winterwolves', as their foes know them, bear their 'Guardyr' tabs with pride and their weapons with unrivalled skill.

Warrior Bio: The City of Anemos Rei 2nd Guard Rifles Regiment (Anemonian: 2se Guardise Partitionyr Infanteryr Fusilise dei Anemos Rei is, alongside the City of Anemos Rei 1st Guard Rifles Regiment, one of the two Loyalist Regiments raised by Lyteren Erenthi I during his campaign against the Regency of the Empire in 1858. As a result, they are now the Senior Mechanised Regiments of the Crown Army, bearing the insignia of the City of Anemos Rei on their Guards' bearskins.

Performing with distinction throughout the wars of the early 20th Century, the 2nd Guard Rifles were especially noted for their conversion to the first mechanised infantry group in the Anemonian Army in 1943. Following the collapse of the Great Empire, during which they established themselves as a strictly Loyalist regiment, the Guard Rifles were deployed during the course of the Inquisitorian Crisis, where they proved themselves in deep marshland combat against the Inquisitorians, and, after being designated a Selective Entry unit alongside the other Guards formations of the Army (amongst some other unit groupings), the 2nd Guard Rifles were deployed frequently in hotspots like Mirschendellin and Asakura, where they have proven to be well disciplined, trained and unbreakable troops, gaining the nickname 'Winterwolves' in fierce snowstorm combat against Mirschendellin's guerilla groups.

  • Helmet: The MJOLNIR Helmet is one of the most vital aspects to the MJOLNIR system. It is made of Titanium/Nano composites and contains key features like a Heads Up Display that links to the brain and hands, and can identify equipment and display information about it when it is picked up by the wearer. Another feature is the direct neural interface system which connects to a Spartan's neural implants. Two core processor chips are implanted into the subjects skull in the rear of the head. This is essentially comparable to an on board computer using parts of the human brain for processing - when the connector at the rear of the subjects head and receptors in the brain link to the helmets on board sensors it creates the neural link needed to move the MJOLNIR suit. The helmet also contains other equipment to protect and aid the user in hostile conditions. This includes: filters to remove toxins from the atmosphere, a supply to provide air to the wearer during EVA, thermal and motion sensors, communications, solar-powered lighting, and imaging and video gear. The helmet also contains the A.I housing, where a ship-borne A.I chip is inserted, located on the back of the helmet.
  • Titanium Alloy Outer Shell: The outer shell of the MJOLNIR armor is comprised of a fairly thick titanium alloy. The TA plating covers the chest, arms, hip, legs, calves, feet and hands. This alloy is very resilient, can take significant punishment, and is nearly impervious to small arms fire. While enough shots from armor piercing rounds will breach the outer shell, the suit can take a few glancing blows from them without compromising the armor. The outer shell of the all MJOLNIR suits is covered with a refractive coating to help disperse the heat experienced from Covenant energy weapons. However one or two direct hits from any Plasma weapon will compromise the armor plating.
  • Titanium Nanocomposite Bodysuit: Sandwiched between the external armor and the internal padding is a thick black armored bodysuit. This suit has numerous functions, small but vital to the safety and survival of the wearer. The bodysuit is made of a titanium-based material, making it very strong and yet very flexible. It also serves as another layer of protection against ballistics attacks and is coated with a heat resistant material to disperse heat from Plasma weapons.
  • Hydrostatic Gel: Underneath the armored bodysuit is a gel-filled layer, this gel layer regulates the temperature of the suit and can re actively change its density to conform to the wearer's shape - the temperature inside the suit is controlled by the moisture absorbing cloth suit underneath the hydrostatic layer. The hydrostatic gel layer can also be pressurized to various levels to potentially save the wearers life should the wearer be subjected to high G forces or a high velocity impact; however, over pressurizing this layer can cause nitrogen embolisms.
  • Reactive Metal Liquid Crystal Layer: Sandwiched between the external armor and the internal padding, the liquid crystal layer of the suit is split into two sections that forms the inner structure of the suit. The first layer contains the Reactive Metal Liquid Crystal this reactive metal increases the strength, reaction time, mobility, speed, and all around physical performance of the Spartan. The section layer supports suit's artificial intelligence, knitted together at a molecular level and fitted in between the outer plates and the inner padding. This type of computer memory is usually outfitted on a warship and as such this layer accounts for over eighty percent of the MJOLNIR armor's cost of construction and materials.
  • Magnetic Weapon Holder Strips: Available on the Mk. IV, Mk. V, Mk. VI, and the MK. K the magnetic strips are very small yet powerful magnets place on the legs, waist, and back of the suit and is used to hold any equipment with a magnetic property. The suit also contains an electromagnetic system on the boots of the MJOLNIR suit that allow its wearer to stay attached to a metal surface in Zero G environments and can be toggled on or off by the wearer.
  • Shields: First used on the Mk. V, and later refined on the Mk. VI, the energy shield device is reversed engineered from Covenant technology. Begun in 2532 forty scientists and technicians would spend the next 20 years attempting to make some use of the technology. For decades the attempts at cracking their technology had met with failure after failure, some had given up and others in the scientific community believed the energy shield technology could never be cracked. However at some point before 2552 a breakthrough was made and for the first time the UNSC had successfully cracked and improved upon the technology.
  • Pressure Seal: The Pressure Seal is a vital component to the MJOLNIR system, it keeps the system airtight, underwater or in space. The seal is very strong and will only break under extreme pressure, such as in a high velocity impact or when the Hydrostatic Gel has been over pressurized.
  • Automatic Biofoam Injectors: Introduced on the Mk. VI models Biofoam injectors is an integral part of the systems ability to keep a Spartan functioning in battle. Biofoam is a medical gel that is used to fill and seal a wound automatically, it is also used to treat any infection that could occur as a result of the wound. The process of injecting, or applying the gel to a wound is extremely painful and is only a temporary solution; medical attention must be sought soon after to ensure survivability.
  • Fusion Reactor: The fusion reactor is the most essential part of the MJOLNIR System, as it provides power to all equipment on the MJOLNIR armor - the reactor is built into the suit and allows for nearly unlimited movement. The fusion reactor in all versions of the MJOLNIR armor are half the size of a normal fusion pack that conventional marines carry around.
  • Force-Multiplying Circuits: Located throughout the armor, these systems boost the force applied by the user. They make hand-to-hand combat easier, but also make the armor difficult to adjust to; a slight motion can be translated into a potentially harmful one if not conducted correctly. For this reason it is only possible for Spartans to use this armor, as their strengthened bodies are able to withstand the increased power and speed of movement, which, in un-augmented human bodies, results in broken bones or death, due to spasms caused by the pain of broken bones.
  • Reactive Circuits: Reactive Circuits are systems installed directly linked to the Spartan Neural Interface. They amplify the wearer's reaction time by connecting directly to the thoughts of the wearer, making it much easier to control and allowing for the soldier to be both more efficient and have a higher survival rate in combat.
  • Power Supply Control Unit: The Power Supply Control Unit controls the power supply of the armor.

Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy John-117 is a SPARTAN-II commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command. He became one of the most important heroes of the UNSC during the Human-Covenant War. With nearly 55 years of active duty, he is one of the most decorated war veterans in the United Nations Space Command and has earned every known medal in the UNSC except the Prisoner of War Medallion. He has a rating of Hyper lethal and has been noted on either always getting the kill or always making sure the enemy won't be able to continue the fight.

The UNSC's multi-purpose combat knife has a 20 centimeters (7.9 in) blade made of high carbon steel, an anti-flash non-reflective titanium carbide coating, edge coated for corrosion resistance and is 43.3 centimeters (1 ft 5.0 in) when sheathed.[1] All UNSC troops are issued a combat knife for field and utility uses, as well as a backup weapon for desperate close combat situations. It is also balanced for throwing. This variation is around 10 inches long and features a wasp knife system which creates a flow that causes the insides of a stab victim to explode.

The MA38 ICWS Avenger is the UNSC's most modern and powerful weapon, using a Rail system to launch it's ammo at high speeds, comes with Plasma producers which created plasma endlessly using a slipspace linked generator which is inside the tip of the bullet.

(Note this is mostly made from Forerunner technology and is being studied on, the fact that the Forerunner could managed a plasma and kinetic weapon like this is amazing, researchers call it a mini Archer missile launcher.)

Edit: For the plasma bullets in the AR, I changed it, the ammo is shaped like a bullet but it produces a amount of plasma when about to contact the enemy body (due to a device which detects body heat and a device which detects certain shapes, combined it can do either to blow up when contact is made inside.

    Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Timothy Hershel is a long time member of the UNSC Marine Corps and specifically the ODST's he knows the forces combat history and their structure like it is personal information.     The idea of inserting highly trained troops behind enemy lines from high altitudes has its roots in the paratroopers of 20th and 21st century fame, who dropped frequently behind enemy lines to capture strategically important targets in anticipation for a larger advance by more conventional and numerous military forces.

    Such troops were first used prior to World War II by Italian and Soviet forces, but the first serious application of the doctrine was seen in 1940 by the German Air Force in World War II to overrun the Allied positions in Denmark, the Netherlands and the legendary Eben Emael fortress in Belgium. Paratroops were also used to capture the entire island of Crete. Later, during the Battle of Normandy known as Operation Overlord on June 6, 1944, when two American Airborne Divisions and one British Airborne Division landed behind enemy lines in Normandy, France on D-Day and again in Operation Market Garden. Although they were only marginally successful, they proved the concept of paratroops as useful and effective in large scale warfare.

    While the concept of dropping human soldiers from orbit had been around since the early 21st century, the establishment of the UN Marine Corps in 2163, would be the historic first deployment of the future 105th infantry in the Martian Campaign against the Neo-Communist Koslovics. The UN Marines historic first drop onto Mars in support of UN led war against the Koslovics and the Frieden forces not only proved the feasibility of such an option, but also the effectiveness of deploying soldiers from orbit. The success of the Argyre Planitia Campaign by the UN, and its participants of the first drop onto martian soil would become the predecessors, or early members, to the modern ODST units. The modern ODST are usually the spiritual successors of the Special United Combat Program (SUCP) when it comes to their missions and duties.

    At the conclusion of the Rain Forest Wars and the Jovian moons campaign, the Orbital Drop Shock Trooper was a fully established force and participated in every high risk operation during those conflicts, The ODST's continued to fight for the UN during the Harmony Insurrection where in Operation BLACK FIST, four teams of ODST dropped in primitive atmospheric devices and proceeded to take back Saium Hotel from numerous rebels without loss. World War Four however proved they were heavily needed as they were able to easily country the Soviet Expansion to the point that they managed to assassinate almost every major political figure in the new USSR. Their last major war effort however was the Helghast War which saw them fighting in primitive HEV's. They were the reason the war did not go so far into the pit of failure and they managed to beat the Helghast off Vekta in Operation HELLFIRE. The first major combat re-emergence of the ODSTs since then occurred in 2490 during the beginnings of the civil conflict between the UEG and the Insurrectionist. Using the ORIONs as exemplary models, the reputation of the ODSTs, as well as their training, was restored and enhanced as time passes. For the years leading up to 2525, the ODSTs would once again conduct high risk operations against the Insurrectionist, to either stop the enemy before they could carry out attacks against supporters, and officials of the Earth Government or to cut off major suppliers to the Insurrectionists.

    On November 1, 2525, the UNSC moved into a full alert status after the devastating and horrifying first contact with the Covenant at Harvest; this marked a change in objectives for the ODSTs, who up until that point had been fighting the Insurrectionists. As humanity's military turned to meet the threat of the Covenant, divisions of ODSTs prepared to participate in the most critical engagements in the war and also to conduct the riskiest missions in the history of mankind. The Battle of Hat Yai marked one of the first deployments of ODSTs against Covenant ground forces; although the planet was lost in the ensuing conflict, the ODSTs were successfully extracted before the UNSC retreated.

    Not long after the Harvest Campaign, the ODSTs participated in the First Battle of Arcadia where they assisted Marine forces and SPARTAN-II Red Team in defending the capital city from Covenant ground forces, thus allowing the evacuation of the civilian population. Having successfully kept Covenant forces from occupying the city, the Corps began launching multiple assaults on the Covenant's bases of operations to reclaim the planet. Several ODST battalions joined the Spirit of Fire's rescue operation after retaking the planet and soon participated in the Battle of the Shield World.

    Following the enactment of the Cole Protocol in 2535, ODST combat teams were tasked with boarding commercial and private vessels and purging their navigation databases. During one of these routine operations, a group of ODSTs aboard the UNSC Midsummer Night were captured and taken to the Rubble. They, in conjunction with SPARTAN-II Gray Team, would later defeat a Kig-yar plan to trick the inhabitants of the Rubble out of their navigation data, which could compromise the location of Earth.

    As the Covenant-Human war progressed, the ODSTs would go on to participate in many engagements; among these were the Battle of Jericho VII, an assassination mission on Heian, the Battle of Skopje, the Battle of Sigma Octanus IV, the Battle of New Jerusalem, the Battle of Tribute, and the Battle of Ariel. The numerous campaigns and operations in which the ODSTs participated throughout the long war all pale in comparison to the Fall of Reach in 2552, during which countless ODSTs lost their lives defending strategic locations on the planet.

    During the initial invasion of Reach, a large contingent of ODSTs participated in the Battle of Viery, assisting the UNSC Army in repelling the Covenant forces from the planet. Throughout the course of the battle, the UNSC formed joint forces to combat against the overwhelming Covenant forces. Some time during the event, several battalions were stationed on the UNSC Pillar of Autumn. As the planet fell to the Covenant onslaught, the vessel made a blind Slipspace jump away from the Epsilon Eridani system, discovering the long-abandoned Installation 04. During the Battle of Installation 04, shock troopers led by Major Antonio Silva and First Lieutenant Melissa McKay, operated as a guerrilla force by conducting hit-and-run operations against the forces of the Covenant's Fleet of Particular Justice.

    Fresh from the disastrous loss of Reach, the ODSTs participated in the most significant battle of the entire war: the Battle of Earth. The battle began on October 20, 2552, when a smaller-than-expected Covenant fleet led by the Prophet of Regret jumped into the Sol System. ODST combat teams, along with the Marines, began engaging Covenant forces on the Orbital Defense Platforms Cairo, Athens, and Malta. Despite the ODSTs' valiant efforts, Malta and Athens were destroyed. The Covenant proceeded to send forces on every continent on Earth and engaged the UNSC in warfare, they destroyed Buckingham Palace, The Seattle Bridge and reopened the Tokyo Crater. As the Covenant ship carrying the Prophet of Regret landed over the African mega-city of Mombasa, teams of ODSTs were deployed over the city from orbit in an attempt to board the carrier; before the teams could reach the target, however, the carrier jumped into Slipspace. Only a single squad managed to safely land in the city to carry out the retrieval of the Superintendent's data.

    After Regret's unexpected retreat from Mombasa, members of the 7th Shock Troops Battalion would later drop from the In Amber Clad onto Installation 05 during the operation to capture the Prophet of Regret. Most of these troopers would perish during the initial firefights against the Covenant, and only a few would escape back to Earth with Lieutenant Commander Miranda Keyes to lead a resistance against the Covenant occupation forces.

    Overall, the defense of Earth was one of the largest campaigns the ODSTs fought in during the entire war. The fighting spread across the globe and in space as the Fleet of Furious Redemption and the Prophet of Truth's own fleet attacked the remnants of the Orbital Defense Grid. The fleets soon deployed troops throughout the continents of North America, South America, Europe and Asia. The Battle of Cleveland is one example of the ODSTs' participation during the war on Earth. Two ODSTs from the 2nd Shock Troops Battalion fought alongside a detachment of Marines in the Battle of Pawas. Troopers T. Rymarr and S. Hartley were tasked with calculating the crash site of John-117 on Earth, while a Marine battalion was tasked with defending a narrow corridor between Covenant and UNSC forces in Pakistan. Bravo-21 and numerous Marines were killed in the clash, while Bravo-22 was injured along with some of the other surviving Marines. Their actions successfully allowed HIGHCOM to track and locate the Spartan.

    After the opening of the Artifact in November of 2552, the 11th Marine Force Reconnaissance/ODST, stationed aboard the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn, fought alongside the Master Chief, during Operation: BLIND FAITH. Men and women from this battalion were also some of the first humans to travel outside the Milky Way Galaxy, during the Battle of Installation 00. One such assault happened during a mission to destroy numerous Covenant anti-aircraft artillery platforms overlooking a desert. These AA guns were destroyed by the ODSTs, allowing the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn to successfully land near the Cartographer building. During the last battle of the Ark campaign - the last battle of the war - ODSTs were again airlifted into combat. This time, they punched holes in Covenant armor and artillery positions to allow SPARTAN-117 and the Arbiter to eliminate the Prophet of Truth.

    ODST's next saw action against the Turians in the Second Contact war, facing off against the Citadel Spectres and standard Turian Forces the ODST's managed to take back key locations on Harvest including helping the Army retake the Government Building before UNSC and RSN air units took out the remaining ground forces of the invaders. The ODST would later see action defending the UNSC colony Sanctuary against a huge Batarian Slaver Invasion Force in which ODST's managed to hold several key locations despite overwhelming odds, ODST's helped fend slavers off however a few were take prisoner. As the RSN started their invasion of the batarian military planet of Iteni II, a Squad of ODST's hijacked a Phantom and made their way to a Batarian Ship which caused the RSN to go after it to protect what they thought were troops. The ODSTs managed to rescue their missing members that were taken as slaves, reports came in that they were beaten, malnourished and a few women were raped. This fulled a large hatred of the Batarians by the ODST's and UNSC in general and the ODST's used this to full themselves during the War when they fought the Batarian Hegemony to fight against what they deemed as a threat to personal freedoms and liberty.

    The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers are one of many Special Operations Forces in the UNSC Defense Force. The ODSTs are under the operational authority of the Naval Special Warfare Command/Naval Special Weapons their methods of operation allow them to conduct missions against targets that more conventional forces cannot approach undetected. ODSTs are recruited from the Special Operations Groups of all the nations of the Unified Earth Government and are a strictly all volunteer fighting force. Potential ODSTs are selected because of their performance in their chosen MOS; every ODST candidate is a veteran from another Special Operations outfit and therefore has already gone through at least two layers of screening and months of intense training — not counting the years of training received before volunteering for the ODSTs. There are no age or gender restrictions — as long as the candidate meets the physical and mental requirements they are guaranteed the opportunity to try out for the ODSTs. Once in the ODSTs, a candidate's training continues - its entrance requirements serve as a third layer of screening upon two more, where applicants would have theoretically failed to pass. Candidates would, therefore, already have extensive experience in conducting the types of high-risk missions that the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers typically perform.

    ODST units are not embedded within conventional UNSC forces; they do however participate in joint operations, and tend to be force multipliers - increasing the effectiveness, willingness, and morale of those they fight alongside with. ODST combat teams usually consist of six to eight ODST Troopers - with each combat team specializing in a particular mission set, but they are expected to be flexible enough to adapt to any given situation. These combat teams however can vary from company to company. Each combat team also consists of ten to fourteen operators, each of whom has a specific function on the team. ODSTs are known for their unusual methods of insertion, dropping from orbit onto terrestrial environments. Similar to their ground-based counterparts, the ODSTs maintain units of varying strength aboard many UNSC vessels and Installations.

    The ODSTs perform highly specialized, small scale, high-risk operations including:

    • Deep Ground Surveillance or Long Range Reconnaissance: Patrols in small groups, in uniform, usually far behind the enemy lines. While DGS units may direct air or artillery strikes against enemy positions, they strive to be unobserved, and have only self-defense, not DA, capability. Groups engaging in surveillance deep behind enemy lines, are commonly known as "Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols" or LRRP's.
    • Direct Action: Short-duration strikes and other small-scale offensive actions conducted as a special operation in hostile, denied, or politically sensitive environments and which employ specialized military capabilities to seize, destroy, capture, exploit, recover, or damage designated targets. Direct action differs from conventional offensive actions in the level of physical and political risk, operational techniques, and the degree of discriminate and precise use of force to achieve specific objectives.
    • Unconventional Warfare: Military and paramilitary operations, normally of long duration, predominantly conducted by indigenous or surrogate forces who are organized, trained, equipped, supported, and directed in varying degrees by an external source. It includes guerrilla warfare and other direct offensive, low visibility, covert, or clandestine operations, as well as the indirect activities of subversion, sabotage, intelligence gathering, escape and evasion.
    • Counter-Terrorism Operations: The response to terrorist threats and/or acts, both real and imputed.
    • Counter-Contraband Operations: Missions undertaking the recapturing of smuggled/stolen goods.
    • Personnel and Special Equipment Recovery/Capture: The recovery/medical treatment of friendly personnel in combat environments, as well as the capability of capturing high valued individuals and any equipment.

ODST: UNSC Plasma Grenade
- The UNSC Plasma Grenade entered service some time between 2573 and 2606, unlike the RSN Grenade, this is a secondary option behind the fragmentation and incendiary grenades of the UNSC< the ODST like the use as they are good shots with it, detects living materials and sticks to them when detected, much like the RSN (Covie separatist) version, when being made it can be modified so if the test cannot trick it then this can be a simple and easy solution.

A former member and instructor of the Marine Legion and the Special Reconnaisance Service, Charles was well placed to join the SN when it was formed in 2010. Anna served within the Hayesalian Union Defence Forces before amalgamation, and was immediately transferred to a position as an instructor as part of the Airborne Legion, a dedicated paratrooper force. In 2010, she was selected along with only a few other female soldiers to join the Spetzgruppa Nachal'nik. Chosen by the NH Government for this role, she is fully expected to compliment Charles' knowledge and experiences as a Marine with her experiences as an airborne first-strike troop. She holds the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Warrior Bio:

Spetzgruppa Nachal'nik is made up of the top 0.01% of the New Hayesalian Military. While some nations recruit to the top 1%, the New Hayesalian Military was unsatisfied with this and pushed the limits even further. In 2010, the Spetzgruppa Nachal'nik (Special Group Superior) was formed. Made up of approximately 5,000 soldiers, the SN has it's numbers pulled from the instructors and highly performing members of other special units, such as the Army Pararescue, Combat Intelligence Gathering Unit, Marine and Airborne Legions, the SRS, et cetera.

Training is an eight-week course, where mind and body are tested to absolute limits. Candidates are expected to be able to learn anything and remember it well, as well as be able to apply it. In training, textbooks on subjects ranging from nuclear weapons to foreign small arms are issued and must be read and the knowledge practically applied in training sometimes one day later. This is in addition to other training, where food and sleep is little and far between, and candidates have no expectations of what will come next. Training is entirely practical in nature: candidates are expected to be fit enough to perform the training with no PT. Training takes place in locations all around New Hayesalia and Paddy O Fernature, from the alpine mountains of Piltomana to the deserts of Quepasa. OPFOR, usually made up of current SN soldiers, is often present.

By the end of the course and the following year long extended training, expertise will be held in all aspects of soldiering. All SN soldiers will possess expert knowledge in:
-hand to hand fighting, usually in Krav Magra and Judo techniques.
-service and use all New Hayesalian small arms and crew served weapons,
-tactics in all roles of soldiering,
-use and disabling of explosives,
-all insertion methods,
-medical skills comparable to regular Military medics (SN medics will hold skills comparable to emergency room personnel and surgeons),
-foreign equipment,
-high skills in driving light transport and all civilian vehicles,
-mainline artillery pieces,
-basic understanding of how to fly civilian and some military aircraft,
-at least one language other than English,
-some electronic warfare,
-sabotage,
-personal health and fitness maintenance.

Historical Battles/Significance: For simplicity, an indexed list of mostly classified missions is included.
War on Missourian Rebels
-Infiltration of the city of Springfield, a large enemy hub, through a huge number of anti-personnel traps,
-Diving and swimming over 250 kilometres up the Mississippi river over the course of multiple days,
-Rescue of New Hayesalian and coalition soldiers captured by hostile forces,
-Laser designation of targets to minimise civilian casualties,
-Large-scale sabotage attacks on MR assets, including SAM sites, artillery, missiles, et cetera.
-Defusal of two nuclear bombs which would have otherwise been used in an electromagnetic attack on coalition forces (this attack did eventually succeed, although causing higher damage to MR forces.)

Lifestyle: Usual schedule, SN soldier not on operations or training, which are considered "Heavy Exercises" and will entail a changed schedule. The Spetzgruppa Nachal'nik, like most New Hayesalian soldiers, have a 6am-3pm day. This is to allow for adequate family and relaxation time.
0600-0700: Wake up, go to base, breakfast, warm-up. Morning parade at 0640.
0700-0800: One hour of highly intensive personal exercise. Extremely high physical standards are required to be a part of the SN.
0810-0820: Wash, change and prepare for exercises.
0820-1100: Light exercises, such as navigation or marksmanship.
1100-1200: Time on the range, firing whatever weapons training is scheduled for today.
1200:1240: Lunch.
1240-1400: Briefings for tomorrow.
1400-1500: Paperwork, administration. Head home.

    Garrus is currently a personal mercenary who had many operations with the Turian Commando's who hired him for his exceptional Sniping Skills. He knows how deadly each Commando is as he had trained with them in his past and even suffered a injury while doing so. As a expert he will be able to replicate or even be better than what your average Commando soldier who has the skills in long to medium range combat.

    Scar is a 50 year combat veteran of the Turian Commando Force. He was honorably discharged from the Alliance during the Galactic War due to developing spot traumatic stress disorder which was going to be a hindrance, said issue came up after his team fought off the Metal Fist, a Jiralhanae special forces group who takes pleasure in torture and death. He was cured and managed to take part of the final battle in the war over Alsian Distra 9 which saw the Poleepkwa making contact with the rest of the galaxy, he and his new unit at the battle met up with local troops of the attacked one planet state and managed to help them drive off the resisting Coalition enemies who who trying to keep the war still technically going.

  • Warrior Bio: The Turian Commandos are much like the ODST in operation, which is why during the galactic War they worked in joint operations which allowed them to act fast and fluently compared to when other Special Forces try to do so. The Turian Commando's were formed some time during the Unification War in which the near the end the Turian Hierarchy required dropship/drop pod delivered soldiers to make their way to end the conflict. Their rich history was also seen during the Krogan Rebellions when they were able to take the Krogan colony of Rugachia without any casualty.

    They however faced major disappointment in the second contact war when they failed to capture needed targets and died do to Sangheili Spec Ops Agents getting in their way on Day 5. Despite working with the ODST and fighting the UNSC forces on Harvest before they allied themselves with the UNSC, there was never a battle between the ODST and the Turian Commandos which makes for a unique battle. Today it is fairly possible for them to experience a battle through the simulation chambers which takes the soldiers image and puts them into a alternate reality where they cannot actually die but their avatar dies, think of it as a explanation on how Turians and ODST are using modern armor and weapons in a simulation of the Second Contact War when they were enemies.

Image The PL 10 is a grenade of thermobaric design, first saw action in the Second Contact War and had the second most UNSC Causality claim for the Turians right behind the Indra and Avenger. The weapon is highly dangerous so it is used with caution. The grenade specifically has around 3 to 7 seconds until denotation which varies when used.

It's alright, this is a special 'Gholgoth' Series, so I shouldn't worry about anything. And the discussion thread doesn't have a particular uniform, as long as it has the relevant information then you're fine ;)
