Imperial and Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs - No comment on the latest overtures from the association of communist opposers, Imperial and Royal War Navy arranges visit to the Kingdom of Belfras with Kaiserin und Königin Maria Theresia battlegroup

The Imperial and Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while continuing to voice worry at the continuously escalating situation in Pardes, where some of the Monarchy's trading partners like the Kingdom of Belfras reside, the Kingdom of Belfras having provided at several times a number of defence materiel to the Monarchy and is regarded as one of the major partners of the Monarchy. The others include the Amanite Realm, being one of the Monarchy's most important allies to date.
The Minister herself has stated on several occasions that her ministry is closely watching the situation with its partners in the region, but has yet to reply to suggestions that the Monarchy is preparing any sort of intervention and made no further commentary on the latest overtures of ACA.

The Imperial and Royal Aulic War Council has detached a small squadron under Admiralleutnant Eugenia Alexandra Imogen Fürstin von Metternich-Winneburg zu Beilstein to Belfras on a planned friendly visit to the Kingdom of Belfras. Defence representatives have noted that this visit has been planned since the Belfrasian visit to the Adriatic Coast in 2012.

His holiness, CDI and ACA are forces of evil and arrogance within Pardes.

His holiness the Pope, Pius III declared today in a public mass outside the Vatican Palace that the two major alliances present within Pardes, the Central Defence Initiative and the Anti-Communist Alliance are forces of evil, arrogance and corruption. The slamming comes days after the Islamic Social Republic of Premislyd officially joined the ACA six days ago, brining the demons to our very door step. The military is said to be expanding the defence force within the province of Vesarius later this week, boosting the garrison to 35,000.

Both the ACA and CDI are major international institutions for crimes against humanity and insult the gospel with their immoral behaviour. Both are responsible for various atrocities, with genocide and ethnic cleansing being a major foundation of the ACA. The CDI is also responsible for the continued genocide of the Mardullah people at the hands of the Tarsan pagans due to inaction over the obvious illegal invasion of the sovereign state. The CDI has also engaged in historic wars of economic aggression, utilising predatory capitalism to destroy sovereign nations by starving them of economic growth and the livelihoods of its citizens. The United Republic, is a major voice within the CDI and the leader in its campaign of immorality and oppression, it continues to justify its quests for wealth and land through cases of human rights abuses and the destruction of freedom.

Upon Premislyd’s entry to the ACA, the alliance took a more aggressive position upon the world. Our northern neighbour as we all know is a nation bred with murderous traits and inhumane views towards other peoples and faiths. They have joined a band of brigands who share the same barbaric nature, with tensions continuously growing between the Papal Republic and the Islamic Social Republic over the latter’s continued claims to Vesarius, it stands to reason that the ACA along with the CDI should be destroyed through reason and prayer.

His holiness, gave an open mass today from the balcony of St Peter’s Basilica, in which he prayed with a crowd of 150,000, he gave prayer to the people of Mardullah and to the suffering of poverty stricken peoples across Pardes and continued tradition with a prayer for the destruction of Rodarion’s enemies. However his main contribution came through his slamming of both organisations.
“The Central Defence Initiative and the Anti-Communist Alliance are forces of evil, arrogance and corruption, they continue to act in aggressive and outlandish and archaic ways, engaging in imperialism, tyranny and oppression of the dispossessed and weak. The ACA claims to protect man from the vile and heretical ideals of socialism, yet instead supplants them with the dark clouds of totalitarianism and godlessness.

How long before man comes to recognise this abomination and desecration of his mortal soul, how long before he sees the light of liberation and salvation given by Jesus Christ our saviour? Not long I do pray, yet we ourselves as a nation can force the heads of man towards the light of liberation, we as a nation can bring an end to the ACA and CDI, through reason and prayer, god will deliver the blow. God favours the humble yet brings only pain to the prideful, and remember children, those who are prideful will be laid low unto dust”.

The Ministry of National Defence has stated that the Fleet of Righteous Vigilance has been placed on high alert tonight and will be deployed into the Sea of Prizra in response to growing CDI and ACA tensions and rhetoric, the fleet is also supposedly to counter any Belfrasian naval incursion as it engages in naval exercises. The Army also confirmed plans for a strategic missile testing drill and war games later next week.

Split, Premislyd — Earlier this week, the United Republic of Emmeria, a staunch opposer of the Anti-Communist Alliance and member of the Central Defense Initiative, reignited the "War of Words" with a lengthy article detailing the nation's disgust with the glorious Islamic Social Republic's admittance into the Anti-Communist Alliance earlier this week.

"The aggressive tactics of the Castilla administration is absurd," commented Foreign Minister Ivo Vukoja in a press conference earlier today. "Their carelessness is jeopardizing the stability of not only the Central Ocean, but of Pardes itself. Because of their arrogant attitude in regards to the Anti-Communist Alliance, the rest of the region has to pay because of it with the likes of New Belhavia, Transnaspastain, and the New British East India Company feeling the need to use Pardesi waters to conduct war games."

When questioned about the comment of New Belhavian Admiral Warren, all Vukoja had to say was this: "They [member-states of the Anti-Communist Alliance] think that just because we are in the same alliance, we are automatically on the same side. Premislyd has always been for the concept of 'Pardes for the Pardesi,' and membership in Anti-Communist Alliance will not change that."

It is a well-known fact that the Central Defense Initiative (CDI), of which Emmeria is a part of, has done nothing to deal with the extraregionnal threat of the Anti-Communist Alliance's war games. The CDI leaders of Belfras, the Western Confederal States, and the Altrenian Administratum have sat back idle as the foreign policy of Emmeria makes a mockery of the foundations that the alliance's founding document, the Laesico Accords, clearly defined.

Rather than leading the region as a unified force in stopping the Anti-Communist Alliance naval forces, the CDI has stood on the side-lines, with the Kingdom of Belfras, one of the four leading members, being the only CDI member-state to send any sort of fleet into the Central Ocean in retaliation.

"We are very grateful for our admittance to the Anti-Communist Alliance," Deputy Minister Branimira Milošević commented yesterday. "But they have to understand that it's daft to think that it's a good idea to conduct naval exercises in a region that isn't even there's, regardless of the presence of a fellow ACA nation or not... we understand that this is in response to the Akimonadi, Emmerian, and Maltropian exercises in Tyrrhenia, but to commit the same act in a retaliation is not the way to go about things."

Soon after admittance into the ACA, the Islamic Social Republic immediately applied for the Foreign Base Initiative (FBI), a co-operative, multinational program meant to increase the stability and pressence of the ACA throughout the regions ACA member nations occupy. After the United Press (UP) released an article stating that anonymous sources had released information to the UP stating the withdrawal of the FBI application, the [People's] Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Relations released a statement claiming that the UP article was "false" and "incorrect," and that the "MFAR has done no such thing."

Quite the contrary. Pictures of the proposed expansions for the Promaljina Army Base have been leaked out, showing that the Islamic Republic is indeed following through with the FBI application despite the internal and external pressure from the protests in Split and the empty threats from Emmeria.

"The base," General Miroslav Vlasic, the Head Chairman of Stavka High Command, commented "will be a golden opportunity to allow us to build close military relations with our fellow ACA allies, but also as an opportunity to cause the Radarians to back down along the border."

The release of General Vlasic's statement comes in the aftermath of another Rodarian rocket strike that hit the border town of Hudovljani, located in the Osobljava Oblast, killing 18 and injuring 40.

Visiel Isle, Pravengria- Scientist and Military officials watched from numerous angles as the new Danwshredder successfully detonated over the DTS. Within seconds of the initial detonation, the 1.3 Megaton Air burst warhead sent out a shockwave that could be felt in subsequent towns across the Island way out of the Safe Zone and Ground Zero. The missile was guided by satellite to ensure it would follow trajectory. The ACA aka the Anti-Communism Alliance, a group Pravengria has been against since the deployment of the Ilopl' Fleet to Ralkovia earlier this year, had recently announced wargames in the region. Earlier this year, Pravengria sided with ICE on the issue of stopping the Ralkovian slave-trade and had dispatched the Ilopl' Fleet, unfortunately, before the fleet could see any action the conflict came to a stand still and thus was recalled.

During the Ralkovian conflict, Pravengria came to the decision that the ACA was no more than an oppressive organization wanting to limit democratic rights of people. Out of the nation who reside in Pardes, Pravengria lies in the top five of the most extensive and largest Nuclear stockpiles, Mostly thanks to the predecessor state Chyeknovostan that collapsed during the Civil War ending the Era of Totalitarianism in the Island. The MoD expressed its opinion and stated that the test was carried out to tell the ACA that Pravengria wouldn't stand for any ulterior motive if they possessed one during the War Games. The Royal Court does acknowledge the right for the ACA to hold the War Games, but after having to push to DEFCON 3 when Havenwalde Mobilised its forces during the Tarsan-Mardulli conflict, Pravengria doesn't want to take any chances. His Majesty has also released a statement earlier today, asking for a joint meeting with CDI, The HU, and ACA at the Island of Laesico to discuss possible peaceful resolutions to see about limiting tensions.

2nd Army to be deployed into Versarius Province

Soldiers of the 2nd Army approach the border region

His holiness the Pope, Pius III ordered the deployment of the 2nd Army last night according to a brief statement by the Chief Curia Spokesman. The 200,000 strong force is expected to be fully deployed in Vesarius by tomorrow morning, the deployment of the large force comes days after Premislyd was admitted into the Anti-Communist Alliance and became a signatory of the Foreign Bases Initiative, allowing ACA troops to be based within our northern border. According to a Premislydic government spokesman, the base offered to the FBI is located 70km north of the border, in a blatant attempt to force ACA involvement into the current dispute over Vesarius, which Premislyd bases its absurd and imperialist claims upon nationality. The spokesman for the Curia stated this is in no way an escalation over the current border dispute, but is a counter-measure to the possible deployment of foreign ACA brigand troops.

Father Alexandru Antonescu, spokesman for the Curia gave this brief statement last night.

"The deployment of the 2nd Army to the province of Vesarius is a move not related to the current dispute over the border region with Premislyd, but rather thier absurd and vile attempts at inviting ACA troops into our dispute, they are attempting to force the Papal Republic down with the presence of foreign troops, but the Papal Republic will not do so, we are deploying the 2nd Army as a counter-measure and detterent against blatant ACA and Premislydic aggression and shrewd attempts at forcing us down. It is now down to the Islamic Social Republic to cool the situation with the removal of the FBI granted base".

Tensions across Pardes regarding the presence of the ACA has grown in recent weeks, however tensions between the Papal Republic and Premislyd have reached all new highs since 2001 when the border conflict began. Since yesterday, social networking sites have been awash with anti-Premislydic comments, one Facebook user stated, "We should cross the border and spit and burn that base to the ground, they don't know what they've done". Anti-Premislydic protests are to be held today as a part of a pan-national effort to alert the people of the Papal Republic to the true nature of the Premislydic threat. Not only does it present a Jihadi threat but also the ACA threat, threats the Curia is supposedly debating today.

His holiness the Pope has stated he wishes to avoid conflict, but struggles to see how since the Islamist government to the north continues to act in a reckless and naive way. One Cardinal said last night that the Islamic Social Republic will be the cause of the rapture, since it has invited the forces of evil into its borders and will soon threaten all of free mankind. The National Defence Council is set to meet later tonight, in what is being called a pre-emptive discussion. The Rodarian Papal Army has released a statement saying the deployment of the 2nd Army is merely a deterrent against ACA presences north of the border, however they did state that various missile and rocket batteries have been placed on high alert close to the border, the Rodarian Christian Order the second largest paramilitary force in the Papal Republic stated on their website, that 4,000 of its members is converging into Vesarius to aid in the regular forces in any operation that could come.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has warned people living in Vesarius to avoid the border area and to keep watch of any strange behaviour amongst the native Premislydic population and to keep a look out for strange activity in the sky or the border itself.
The Magisterium of Faith Protection, has stated that thousands of churches have been giving prayers of peace, with many officials seeing that many people in Rodarion wish to avoid a second war with Premislyd.

The government has stated it will keep the people fully updated, the President and cabinet are also expected to meet with the Pope and College of Cardinals tonight to discuss the growing crisis.

Second fleet on maneuvers, july 2012

Portsdown Naval Docks, Belfras - The memory of the second fleet leaving Port Jacobs for the Altrenian colony of Altheia to conduct naval exercises is still fresh in many peoples minds. So the news that the rest of the fleet has been ordered to fully mobilize and stand by for orders wouldn't surprise most that have kept an eye on current regional events. A nuclear test, full-scale civil war, and looming conflict in the Central Ocean and along the Rodarion/Premislyd border. Rodarion, a land-based neighbor of ours, is currently in a state of war with Premislyd which ended in an uncomfortable cease-fire.

The conflict, which began in 2001, has left both sides uneasy about each other and with rhetoric on both sides escalating only one real result is in sight. Despite calls from the Parliamentary opposition and several relatively peaceful protests in the larger cities in Belfras, the government has affirmed that no military presence will be sent to the border with Rodarion, insisting that "there is nothing to counter nor be afraid of." The Prime Minister also insisted that the government views the Rodarions as friends, despite recent rhetoric in which Pope Pius III said "Our nother neighbor [Belfras] as we all know is a nation bred with murderous traits and inhumane views toward other peoples and faiths. They have joined a band of brigands [The CDI] who share the same barbaric nature." and asked his people to prey for our destruction.

Premislydic news, on the other hands, appears to call Belfras out for its inactivity in this growing crisis, which should be remedied with the most recent action taken by the Parliament and subsequently the Armed Forces. An anonymous source in the Armed Forces seemed cautious toward what their orders may be but expected to be "Sailing in the Central Ocean shortly." We were refused a statement by the Armed Forces about the matter, but from what we have so far seen, it appears the entire fleet is getting ready to depart. A claim made more apparent with the H.M.S Perun, flagship of Warfleet Trident, hoisting it's admiralty colors this morning.

Republican Guard VS-OVs move to new positions in the contested Sovilji borderlands

Vrpolje, Premislyd — Amidst the so called 'War of Words," a verbal conflict between Anti-Communist Alliance member states New Belhavia, Elcric Kcalb, and the "German Empire" pitted against Akimonad and its puppets [mainly Emmeria], the Papal Republic of Rodarion has increased their military presence along the Sovilji region.

With the uneasy signing of the Vesarian Concordat in early 2012, the Sovilji region has seen a gradual de-militarization since the Concordat placed a temporary ceasefire so that peace talks could be the forefront of the Republican and Rodarian governments. However the Rodarian response to the recent Premislydic application into the Foreign Base Initiative threatens to disrupt the current status quo in place.

"It's terrible," Minister of the Exterior, Dmytri Vyacheslav, commented. "To think that they feel that they can trample the concordat that thousands of soldiers died for is simply astounding. Not only are they disgracing the dead Rodarian and Premislydic soldiers, but also they are disgracing the terms of the armistice."

In light of the recent Foreign Base Initiative application and the recent militarization of Sovilji by the Rodarian military, Chairman of the Stavka Main Command, General Miroslav Vlasic, has announced that the Republican Armed Forces would reinforce their current positions in Outer Sovilji with the movement of the 3rd Guards Rifle Corps and the 15th Mechanized Rifle Division "Većapremislid" into the region. Stavka of Naval Command has also announced that the Fleet of Heavenly Retribution, stationed in the Sea of Brilija, will be partially mobilized and begin conducting exercises in anticipation for further Rodarian response.

"Peace is still our primary goal here," Ajatola Taras Yakiv Kozel, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Social Republic, said in a speech in Victory Square on Friday. "By responding to the blatant threats of militarization, we are showing the heretics in the south that God is on our side, and he will lead our holy armies to victory. It will only be a matter of time before our Muslim brothers in Emmeria wake up and see that the Christians in Rodarian and the Jews in the Confederal States are the true threat to Pardes, not the ACA."

As of yet, no peace talks with the Rodarian government have been announced.

Split, Premislyd — Since the start of the so-called "War of Words" (WoW), the small island nation of Pravengria has done little to help cool the current tensions arising from the provocative naval exercises in the Central Ocean by fellow Anti-Communist Alliance member states of New Belhavia, Transnaspastain, and the "New British East India Company."

In response to the Havenwalder mobilization of their armed forces, an expected reaction to unwanted extraregional forces holding "exercises" in the middle of Pardesi waters, the Alestei regime has decided to stir the pot with unneeded nuclear testing, as well as a seemingly jingoistic approach to the situation by "tightening patrols and ensure that both the ACA and Havenwalde understand that Pravengria will, if provoked, react swiftly." Other overreactions by Pravengria include transporting missiles to the western most archipelago, dubbed "the Shield," and stating time and time again that those missiles are pointed directly at the Havenwalder capital. Pravengria also tested the experimental LGM-38 Doxen intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) as a "display of force to both Havenwalde and the ACA who announced to hold war games in Pardes."

"The current display of actions by the Pravengrians are an example of what not to do," Glorious Leader of the Revolution, Ajatola Taras Yakiv Kozel, said in a press conference Tuesday. "They are essentially behaving like children. Throwing temper tantrums in order to draw attention to themselves so that they can 'show off' to Pardes and the ACA about how 'strong and powerful' they are." When asked about the recent condemnation of the Sovilji Border War, Ajatola Kozel joked "It's a little late to condemn something that began over a decade ago."

The irony of Pravengria's foreign policy showed once more when the Pravengria condemned the exercises the ACA is holding as "imperialistic and provocative" when not too long ago, Pravengria annexed several nations around them under the guise that they would be "helping improve the conditions" of the nations.

Rather than stoop to their level, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Relations has announced that action will only be taken if Pravengria goes through with their seemingly empty threats towards the Anti-Communist Alliance and Havenwalde.

"With war on everybody's mind, there is really no need for the Alestei regime to make matters worse with their unneeded "test" launches," Ivo Vokuja, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Relations, said in a press statement Monday night. "This isn't so much as an ultimatum but more so advice to the Pravengrian government."

As of today, there has been no official statement from the Pravengrian government.

Unionists back on track

Karlsfield, C.D—L.M. Shalom has been elected as the new president of the Confederal States. With over 55% of the votes Shalom won against her counterpart and predecessor President Charles Forrester (which was the first to congratulate her with her victory). This result came shockingly as it is uncommon to beat an incumbent president during elections. But the bigger surprise is that this “Iron Lady” is now the first to be given that title in the history of the Western State. Never before was there a female candidate that won a presidential election with such substantial numbers as 6 out of 7 states voted for the Unionist candidate. It’s also evident that the citizens of the state want change. “With a good mindset and strength the opportunities lie ahead.” She said at the end of her speech yesterday.

Though concerns start to rise, what does this really mean? A lot of people are scared that her fiscally conservative ideals might lead to abandoning the working class especially now that the Unionist party has a majority in the House of Legifero Omnibus and the house of representatives. One day after the Oradea Bombing, which has left 183 people including Cardinal Nelu Omochescu dead, his Holiness has vowed to lead the nation in a quest for righteous revenge, in response to what the Church has labelled a Satanic led operation of violence and xenophobia. The President has given similar pledges in speeches across the country and in Parliament. There already has been reported violent attacks on Natalians within Rodarion, with 2 being shot dead outside Oradea by the Orducii. However a swift ordinance by the Curia has restricted the police from investigating the murders of Natalian citizens, as to remove all possible threats from the country.

The Vice President Crin Antonescu, has already drawn up plans with the Cabinet removing all citizenship from the 185,000 Natalians living in Rodarion. The Orducii has already posted several statements on their website and social networks stating they will remove all Natalians from Rodarian soil before they too can commit violent atrocities.

The outrage follows the Oradea Bombing yesterday, which was an assassination of Cardinal Nelu Omochescu who is an avid supporter and defender of the Catholic population in Natalia. According to the police, the bomb detonated at 10.32am, the explosion itself killed Cardinal Omochescu, his vergers and 22 parishioners, the resulting chaos caused a stampede which left 156 people dead, including 8 police officers.

The Office of the Holy Inquisition (BSI) has released a statement following the arrest of Eric de Wit, the Natalian AWSB agent responsible for the bombing. They stated that they received information regarding the assailant minutes after the bombing and arrested him following his attempt to board a ship to the SSN, he and his assistants have been arrested and executed.
Speaking earlier today, his Holiness addressed a crowd of some 80,000 people in St, Peter’s square. His speech was preceded by several hymns by the Papal Choir who sang ‘will the circle be unbroken’, in respect to the dead. Many people have reported the crowd sobbing throughout the procession, names of the deceased have been scribed onto a smaller obelisk set before the main entrance to the Basilica, it is also reported that armed guards of the Vatican also shed tears at the emotional event. Following the memorial service, his Holiness came out onto the balcony, receiving a euphoric welcome. There he addressed the crowd and the nation live.

“We have suffered greatly these past two days, we have lost loved ones, friends and members of this Church. We have been attacked in a way unknown to us, we have been attacked without hesitation or discretion between those of innocence and those of would face such an assault. We shall never forget this nor forgive, although the holy book does state forgive all for all discretion, this is not valid as would seem, for this attack was not only against us as mortal beings, as Rodarians, as Catholics, but because we believe in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and follow his gospel”.

“When someone be they lone or ordered, attacks God’s kingdom to hit his name, we shall strike back, without hesitation, without reprieve. We shall strike back against those who struck us in the name of the Lord, in the name of the virgin. Our revenge is righteous and in the name of God. They attacked us in a way, that our very Christian soul would be broken, but they have not broken our soul, as our faith is our armour, our shield and our spear. They have made us more resolute and closer to God, for his guidance shall lead us to salvation”.

“They brought us pain and death, we shall repay them the same. They will know that attacking the kingdom of God, will bring them such a righteous response. The men and women of our Armed Forces will deliver a message clear to the enemy of the Papal Republic: you will not escape the justice of this Nation, or the justice of God. The attack by the Social State shows its discrimination and inherent hatred towards Christianity, I say to you Catholics oppressed and beaten down in Natalia, we are coming to save you, we shall guide you to salvation, your trial and torture shall soon be over. For atheism is evil and dangerous and a violent threat to those who are guided by God’s light”.

"Though fear not friends, the Social State is the only culprit and will be punished for it, for we have evidence of Natalian terrorists within Rodarion, it is clearly respectable for the Papal Republic to strike back with necessary force, this attack has allowed us to come to terms with the attitude and threat of the Social State against Christians. We must protect ourselves and our brothers and sisters in the Social State. May I end this with a prayer for the deceased of the bombing and I pray for swift retribution against the plotters and devils who ordered this attack. God bless you and your families and god bless the Papal Republic."

The National Defence Council is to meet tomorrow and the President is to lead an emergency meeting tomorrow morning, the Papal Army has also confirmed its plans to address provincial leaders along the border with the Social State to warn them of possible follow up attacks and threats to border settlements. The National Police Service has also given several press releases regarding the threat from Natalians in Rodarion and has released images and names of known spies and agents of death. The NPS in Satu Mare have reportedly arrested 2 Natalians in a suspected follow up attack on the city's main Cathedral.

Protector van Alstere speech on Oradea Bombing, denies responsibility for the attack

Earlier this day, following Pope Pius III’s speech on the Oradea bombing, The Protectoriate issued a public condemnation of the Rodarion Papacy and its supporters, as well as denying that the Social State of Natalia was responsible for the Oradea bombing. Pope Pius III issued threats directed towards the SSN, stating that: “They brought us pain and death, we shall repay them the same.” And other warnings of military action in response to the attack.

Yesterday, an ethnic Natalian man in Rodarion named Erik de Wit was accused of perpetrating the attack which killed Cardinal Nelu Omochescu and over a hundred bystandars during an open mass. The cardinal was a vocal supporter of (predominately ethnic Rodarion) catholic religious extremist groups in the Fryslân province and rumoured to be involved in various acts of terrorism conducted by said groups. Erik de Wit was captured by the Inquisition allegedly when he attempted to flee the country in a boat bound for Natalia.

Following his capture, Erik de Wit supposedly confessed to his crime and claimed he was a member of the ABSV. He was executed publicly by hanging shortly afterwards.

At a public appearance, Protector Willem van Alstere announced the Protectoriate’s condemnation in a speech where he denied the SSNs involvement as a fabricated lie by the Rodar Papacy. Accusing the Papacy of blatant warmongering and condemning the religious and ethnic violence directed by the State and its paramilitary forces against ethnic Natalians living in Rodarion.

“The Rodarion Papacy takes no standard in the effort to justify its state sanctioned and supported violence as well as its insane imperialism directed against those who don’t follow Rodarion Catholicism. With that modus operandi they have continued to use fabrications and lies as a means of garnering support for continued aggression against us and various other states around them.

The social state of Natalia has no desire or intent to take military action unprovoked against the Papal Republic of Rodarion, or any other state. We operate on the principles of non-interventionism and peaceful coexistence, even with those nations whose values and principles are fundamentally different from ours. It is the unrelenting poison of blind expansionist ambition which fuels the Papacy in its methods of seeking war with us, something which constitutes a clear threat to the safety of our citizens and that is something we cannot ignore or avoid. No matter how hard we try the Papacy has made it clear that they have no intent of letting us live in peace.

The Social State of Natalia is not responsible for the Oradea bombing, the Erik de Wit who was executed without trial yesterday was not a citizen of the Social Republic nor a member of the ABSV. There is no proof for this, save for a confession of questionable validity at the hands of an organization that claims to require no proof or evidence to support their claims. An organization who uses mind altering drugs and torture to force a guilty sentence unto people regardless of the truth. An organization that answers to an equally tyrannical organization for whom the ends always justify the means. Provided that those ends involve gaining more power, all but entirely at the expense of man’s freedom of mind and body and the social and economic liberty to which we have dedicated our society.

The truth cannot be forgotten, the truth which we as a people learned over a decade ago, that in the world of tyranny, dictatorship and church go hand in hand. Whereas the dictator is the tyrant of the body, the church is the tyrant of the mind. The theocratic regime of the Papal Republic simply took this to its logical extreme and takes no shame in the fact that they seek to control both the mind and body of the people for their own selfish gains while hiding it under the umbrella of saving humanity in accordance with pre-historic mythology.

As long as that stands, we as a sovereign nation cannot be guaranteed of the peace we desire and will have to fight to maintain the freedom and liberty that we cherish, and we will fight when needed. As the fascists learned years ago in their attemps to save a dictatorship crumbling under its own folly, we will defend ourselves and we have the capacity to do so against any foe. Be they big or small, open or elusive, we will defend ourselves.”

There has been no further comment on the matter by either the papacy or the Protetoriate. However it is clear that the Natalian Defence Force is preparing for the eventuality of war, with many citizens reportedly receiving notifications as the military prepares for mobilization in case of an invasion. Citizens in the border areas have been reported moving further east, away from the potential conflict zones.

It remains to be seen what the Rodarion response will be, but one thing is certain, tensions are rising.

Government Announces Multi Billion Harkan Economic Expo

Vinovia, Tarsas - Today amidst rising international tension over the invasion of the Mardullan Shahdom and the re emerging Tarsan Empire as a regional superpower, the government has called the National Economic Exposition.

The NEE had been held yearly up until it was cancelled in 2011 due to the war with Canhadast. Now, the Senate has universally voted to approve four billion harkans for the event to be held. The NEE is where hundreds of firms, corporations, and laboratories from the private and public sectors prevent future projects, technology released and in development, and much more.

The NEE will be held from June 6 to June 12. Some entities have already announced what they intend to demonstrate. The event also allows international firms to present technology. The NEE's main focus is to demonstrate future technology as well as to discuss and prepare economic initiatives.

It is also used by the government to award contracts. Many military production contracts are awarded as well as contracts for power plants, water treatment facilities, and other infrastructure.

Alderia Automotive has announced their new EV test vehicle which runs fully on electric power. Details of the concept being called the Razor and a few teaser photos have been released.

The Senate also released data that it would award a contract for a fifty billion harkan contract to restore and maintain the partially destroyed Black Forest as a national reserve. Logging and clearing have destroyed parts of the once beautiful evergreen forest. An initiative to maintain it has been called for.

Daedalus Structural Solutions announced its intention to build a five hundred billion harkan megacomplex shopping mall and stadium. It has said it will demonstrate its plans at the expo. The megacomplex will consist of s six story shopping mall with thousands of stores. Beside that will be a stadium capable of seating over 320,000 people. It will be one of the biggest in Pardes Elion.

Military company Anticeptrium Legion has announced that it will demonstrate its Wraith Test Platform. The platform will represent a concept for a future 5.5 generation fighter to replace the Na-6. It is said that it hopes to secure a concept as soon as possible.

Already, the return of the event has been hailed as the true return of the Tarsan Empire. The economic ministry released its own statement. "The return of the NEE demonstrates the vast prosperity of the Tarsan Empire. With a wealthy populace, a well off government, and a powerful military, we are well prepared to dominate Pardes Elion"

The Archangel has arisen – Rallies continue across Rodarion

Father Racescu with fellow members of the Order of the Archangel

Hundreds of thousands of people have rallied across the Papal Republic in anger at the Natalian terrorist attack in Oradea last week. 430,000 rallied in Constantine, with Father Racescu leading the rally. 211,000 rallied in Oradea itself, 303,000 in Bacău. The vast anger towards the tyrannical atheist state has been widespread and has exploded on social network sites and popular mediums within the Papal Republic. The Curia has released a statement applauding the public outrage, “The Papacy is humbled to know that the people of the Papal Republic share in our anger and grief at this direct violation of our sovereignty and great abuse towards ourselves as citizens of the Papal Republic”.

Father Racescu is a renowned critic of the Social State and has written many books on the impending revolution of Natalian Catholics. He has also supported the growing culture within the Holy See of Crusade against Atheism and State Atheism. In 2003 he published a joint study with current Foreign Minister Octavian Ceausescu in which it stated Atheism and Secularism were liberal thoughts aimed at destroying the connection between man and God for mortal exploitation.

Father Racescu stated during his rally in Constantine that “the Archangel has arisen, that is correct, Rodarion is an Archangel, an immortal angelic warrior, the defender of the Faith and God’s heavenly house and his brave Warrior that does his bidding”.
The Archangel has been the national personification of Rodarion since 1921 when Pope Urban XI stated that Rodarion was a mortal Archangel, his advocating of Organic Society led to him stating that the Organism is not only the nation but the entire body and organs of a living Archangel. There has been much debate over what Archangel Rodarion presents, many have settled to Saint Michael the Archangel.

Father Racescu continued, “The Archangel therefore will descend upon the Social State with such a vengeance, that their fields, homes, schools, places of self destruction will erupt in flame, the four horsemen of the apocalypse will be the four commanders of the four armies of Rodarion (Army Group South, Army Group North etc). We shall lay the foundations to our rise as a regional superpower with the bodies of the atheist oppressors in Natalia”.

Tensions between the Social State and the Papal Republic have escalated rapidly, the 4th and 8th Infantry Divisions being mobilised on the border. Rumblings in the Catholic regions of Natalia have also heated up, with 3 policemen being shot dead in the town of Achtmaal.

Father Racescu continued with his resounding speech, “the Archangel is rising dear friends, it is rising so swiftly people shall be blinded its brightness, we shall crush the sinful and the servants of sin within days, we shall cleanse god’s green earth of their filth and debauchery and we shall stand firm and resolute. For god’s name and gospel we shall be victorious, they cannot stop us, the United Republic and its circles of homosexual ministers and liberal ideals cannot stop us, Belfras and its arrogance cannot stop us, we shall avenge God’s fallen, we shall prevail unto judgement day”.

Father Racescu’s words have been followed across the country and with thousands of comments streaming onto social networking. Members of Parliament have also called for unilateral strikes against the Social State and the President has vowed to remove the threat of Natalian terrorism and extremism.

Father Racescu has been the chairman of the Order of the Archangel since its creation in 1993, the Order which is made up of 200 Priests, Bishops and Cardinals from Rodarion is a major lobby within the Curia. The Order is primarily a nationalist group which lobbies the Curia for further development of the relationship between the Church and Rodarion's national image and soul. The Order recieves funding from the Rodarian Salvation Party which has been in power since 1980, the Order also lobbies for a religious-patriotic element in schools and the further development of the Chosen Kingdom ethos of Rodarion. Father Racescu is also the leading Chaplin for the Orducii, Rodarion's Paramilitary Force.

The Orducii has vowed to avenge the 200 dead of the Oradea Bombing with 200,000 souls from Natalia. The government has asked the Orducii to show restraint in hope of war being averted. The Curia and Government have both sent out joint statements of restraint and promise of peace.

Oil Prices Set to Skyrocket In Pardes With Mardullah Invasion

In an economic report released by the popular site, The Economic Reporter, oil prices across Pardes have been expected to skyrocket as much as twenty to thirty harkans per barrel as the invasion of Mardullah commences.

The petroleum giant Gold Petroleum has said it is ready to take up the slack as the main oil producing company of Pardes. The current oil conglomerate of Mardullah, Ardeshir Oil & Gas Company, is owned by the rebellious locals. It is estimated the government will award all oil and gas production to Gold Petroleum at the end of the conflict and privatise all Ardeshir's assets.

Some experts across Tarsas are worried how the steep rise in prices will affect the economy. Economics professor at Marvius Central University, Lloydias Alria Brevelius, had this to say.

"The spike in oil and gas prices will be harmful for a free market economy. As oil production halts for a period of time as fighting over the oil fields commences, the wallets of many in Pardes will begin to feel the affects. While I believe this will ease sanctions quickly, the impact at home will be felt."

70% of Tarsan oil is produced at home while the other bit is imported from the far richer Mardullan oil fields to the south. This has lead some to speculate that the invasion of Mardullah was entirely about natural resources.

With the proverbial sanctions imposed, Tarsas has looked elsewhere for its oil. The rich fields from neighboring regions have been quick to reply with oil customers switching over night. The distance travelled to ship the oil means that it has seen a slight increase in price.

Other nations will also feel the sting, it is suggested. Tehraan and Tehraani, who buy millions of barrels from Mardullah, have reportedly quickly switched to neighboring markets. It is estimated that even if Tarsas is repelled by some act of the gods, the Mardullan customer base and its economy will suffer too big a hit to recover.

With oil markets expanding and the projected acquisition of Mardullah, several new oil tankers are being planned to compensate. These ships are going to be massive and are estimated to cost over twelve billion harkans each and carry enough crude to run thousands of vehicles. It is estimated that these ships will weigh well over a million tons.

But some argue that maybe we should not be preparing for a time of coming prosperity. Despite the military reporting that Mardullah would surely fall, some argue that what if it doesn't? "The HU is bound to interfere at some point. They may be less powerful than us, but they do pose a threat", said an anonymous man on the street.

Really, all we can do is watch and wait. Oil prices will rise but many think it will pay off.

Saxonopl', Pravengria- Tarsas announced that they plan to become the biggest Oil supplier in Pardes after overtaking Mardullah. This has caused people to wonder if the Multi-Billion dollar oil industry of Pravengria will fall from grace because of this. After analyzing the situation, economists came to the conclusion that the chance for Tarsas to replace Pravengria in Oil Production is slim. 100% of Oil produced by Pravengria is done in domestic territory with buyers and investors into the industry numbering in the double digits in and out of the region.

Chief Economist Daniel Ausentro stated, ''Even if Tarsas successfully overtakes Mardullah, their Oil production can produce the same output, or receive the same amount of profit as the Oil industry in Pravengria. The fact that Pravengria doesn't import oil from anyone means that even if Tarsan oil skyrockets,it will not effect the Pravene economy one bit. However, the move they are making is dangerous for their economy. When Tarsan oil does skyrocket due to the conflict progressing, it will cause key investors to stray away. As well, if the Mardhulli decide to destroy the oil fields, the impact on the Tarsan economy will devastate it.''

As far as Oil prices, Ausentro said that Tarsan Oil can't compete with prices of Pravene Oil. Because Pravengria produces so much oil, and it's all domestically, the country has been proclaimed to have some of the lowest prices ber barrel of Oil out there resulting in massive trade deals done with the country. Pravengria seems like it is going to withdraw it's political support over the Tarsan invasion of Mardullah, in favor of strengthening ties with other well founded economies in Pardes.

Oured, D.A., UNITED REPUBLIC (UP) — A biannual report published by the United Republic Department of Energy and released Monday morning said the United Republic would become among Pardes's top oil producers by 2018, potentially jeopardizing the regional monopoly over energy resources under Tarsas and Pravengria.

"Within the next five years, the United Republic will produce as much energy as region and world leaders," the report said, later adding that the country will be "entirely independent from foreign energy resources" by that time. It will be a "dramatic reversal of the trend" found in most developed countries, which generally reduce energy production (especially oil) and rely increasingly on foreign resources as they increase postindustrial demand.

"As our global energy systems shift in the face of increased demand, it's necessary to stay ahead of the game," said John Stimson, a senior official and economist in the DoE. "Favorable government policies have really driven the private sector to power through here."

The report estimated the global energy demand to increase by between 32% and 49% by 2035, mostly driven by developing nations increasingly relying on fuel for industrial production. The report cited Tehraan and Rodarion among those nations whose demand for energy is expected to grow the fastest.

Two major causes were identified to have translated into the dramatic shift that has seen the U.R. go from relying almost entirely on foreign oil to become near energy independent. About 55% of the prediction was based in the U.R.'s increased production of oil, and 45% a result of dramatically improved energy efficiency. A significant portion of this energy efficiency is rooted in the Castilla administration's fuel economy standards for automobiles. Modern Emmerian cars are far more reliable and fuel-efficient than their counterparts from over the past ten years, and the trend is expected to continue amidst rising energy prices worldwide.

A heavily subsidized oil industry, coupled with the rapid rise of clean energy production methods, more private-sector energy production and research funding, and a vast array of efficiency standards have promised to set the United Republic on pace to accelerate past many regional and world energy producers and rise to among the world's strongest.

Stimson said that economically, it would benefit the U.R. "Although we'd still be chained to the global oil market, you'd get a country that's a lot more resistant to the fluctuation," he said. "Events such as the recent invasion of Mardullah would have less impact on our domestic market."

The production of natural gas and oil will reduce the United Republic's reliance on coal, widely considered the most environmentally hazardous fossil fuel. This move would come at a time when many countries are increasingly utilizing coal for energy production to fuel industrial processes. Because of increased production, electricity and gas prices in the U.R. are expected to be far lower than most developed countries.

The report also indicated that the United Republic would finally become a net oil exporter by 2025, a dramatic improvement from a decade ago.

Minister of Energy says Electricity demands will be fufilled by 2020 with increase of Renewable Energy.

Earlier this week Minister of Energy Karl Muller has confirmed with a receant census that the electricity demand in the country would be soothed by 2020. Havenwalde's energy conservation and commercialization of renewable energy to the public has begun to dramaticly lower the emissions of gases from primary energy resources. It was also proven that Havenwalde at one time was amongst one of the top nations emitting gases. This year the precentages of use for the primary resources was written as the following.

Oil(33.3%), Coal & Igniting fuel(28%) , Nuclear (10%), Hydro-electric(1.5%) and other renewable resources (7.8%). In 2001 the government and the Nuclear power industry set a goal to phase out nuclear power by 2021. Since 1983 with the release of the Energy Protocol Act which was to promote biodiversity , low emission standards and the use of renewable energy resources. Since then the government has put into motion several wide range emission reduction activities and it has been said that emissions overall are falling. Currently as peace with Pravengia is being reformed Havenwalde is one of the top buyers of Pravengian oil and has buys in Mardullan oil since the early 90s. Havenwalde has under it's posession several oil rigs around the mainland and a oil field to the south west that produces 48.5% of the oil Havenwalde uses and exports to countries around Pardes.

The Nuclear Power corporation 'NukePower.INC' is said to have several projects in building nuclear reactors in several designated places in the country. The corporation is the leading corporation in the Nuclear power industry and supplies over 35,000,000 residents with clean effecient nuclear power. The Minister of Energy is said to be in a meeting with leading energy producers to discuss future projects and ways of having Havenwalde the leading nation in renewable energy production and use.

BELFRAS FACES OIL CRISIS?

Why the Mardullah invasion has hit home hard.

Nos Tellis, Belfras. - Nations around the world are still reeling from the Tarsan invasion of Mardullah, an act that is as mysterious as it is harmful to the local economy. Mardullah had been one of the primary oil exporters of the region, which has left Belfras in an awkward position. Whilst many countries seem to claim an ability for self production of oil and now seek to become the top oil producer, such as Emmeria, Pravengria, and Tarsas itself, Belfras has no natural oil desposits to speak of. Ever since the Hudson blaze of 1980, which destroyed Belfras' solitary oil field, it has relied 100% on imported oil in order to function. A large chunk of this oil comes straight from Mardullah.

Oil prices on the forecourts have yet to rise, but people aren't waiting around. Lines for people to fill their car up have stretched as far back as a mile in some places of the country. Despite the apparent confusion with the oil crisis, everyone knows exactly who to blame. "Those bloody Tarsans! We ought to mess with their oil, see how they like it!" said a fifty-two year old male as he passed a BNN reporting team. Belfras has produced a major oil importing culture, with several of the largest companies in the country specialising in the importation, refinement, and distribution of fuel or other oils. Stock prices for these companies are already beginning to decline with more detailed information available through this link.

BNN have queried the Parliament for a statement, but as of yet no reply has been given. Whether or not the Prime Minister will seek to remedy this situation before the country is held in a vice grip of a nation who would seek to extort its customers is a question many want to see answered.

Renewable Energy: The Future of Industry or A Rich Man's Toy

The Imperial Senate sent forth a proposal for sixty-two tidal generation stations across Tarsan beaches yesterday. A splinter group in the Senate has begun to advocate switching to green energy amidst rising concerns about the environment. The bill is only the latest in a series of five proposed acts.

Despite its defeat today by the majority of the Senate, some argue that the senators have done a grave disservice to Tarsas. The Tarsan Empire is one of the largest producers of pollution in the region. A major identified source is vehicles. With emissions regulations being very minimum, most cars that drive Tarsan streets have massive fuel burning engines.

Some have said this needs to stop. In 2008, the Senate passed a tax break for anyone who purchased several popular small cars on the market. This was designed to promote small clean cars to be produced. Alderia Automotive, the largest auto group in Tarsas which has a staggering 60% of the market, has also stepped into the game previewing its all electric concept just this year.

But is green power the future? Energy Minister Vegetus Endas Marvelia doesn't seem to think so. "Renewable energy is expensive, difficult to implement on a large scale, and arguably has a similar environmental impact.Wind turbines are a large cause of deaths of avian populations, hydroelectric modifies rivers and lakes causing certain wetlands to be destroyed, solar is expensive and useless when the sun isn't out. Don't even get me started on tidal. Its too expensive."

Marvelia is a strong supporter of nuclear power and low emissions regulations on vehicles. This seems to be the tone of the vast majority of the senate. With ten new nuclear reactor complexes brought online in 2010 alone, Tarsas continues to expand its nuclear capabilities while energy sources such as solar and wind continue as they are.

This is not to say that there isn't another side to the energy debate. Senator Agrius Canda Tela, head of the Green Reform Movement in the Senate, gave his own side. "Tarsas consumes energy like no other state in Pardes. Fossil fuels pollute the environment. If we do not protect our environment, who will? The gods have left it to us to do so. Why is it that unbelievers are more environmental than us?"

He has been heavily debating more traditional senators advocating green power. His arguments may have been ignored in the halls of government, but in the private sector it is seeing much support. Development of solar technology for homes has resulted in over ten million Tarsans purchasing roof mounted solar technology for their homes.

At this time, the technology is quite expensive but a firm in Marvius called Sun-Tech Alternate Energy Solutions has been revolutionizing the field. Sun-Tech has developed a system compatible for civilian homes that is relatively inexpensive and can be installed quickly. While it does not entirely replace reliance on the power grid, during the day it can power a large home.

Hydroelectric power has also seen a slight resurgence. Marvius Energy And Gas Company purchased a failing hydroelectric dam just three weeks ago. The company has begun to repair it and use it to produce a portion of their product. The dam is the only one still in operation in Tarsas as the rest have long since been replaced by reactors on the grid.

Tidal and wind energy remain vastly unpopular. Only three known large turbines exist in the country and are used in the Africanaus province to provide energy for the town of Calderia where it would be difficult to run wires. Tidal remains vastly unpopular because of its expense.

Nuclear purists claim all of these are completely pointless. The debate over nuclear power or safer methods has raged in Tarsas for decades since the first reactor was brought online in 1955. The opposition's main argument is that nuclear is highly dangerous and, should if go critical, could destroy millions of people.

The purists, who advocate total reliance on nuclear power and oil, say otherwise. They claim that nuclear power is extremely safe nowadays. Tarsas has not had a nuclear accident since 1979 and safety regulations are only getting more strenuous.

It seems only time will tell. The invasion of Mardullah seems to have brought the whole issue to a head. Statistics claim Tarsas will be a major oil exporter by 2020 and will come to be even more reliant on oil by as early as 2016 should the Mardullan invasion prove successful.

CDI engages in Imperialist hypocracy

Octavian Ceausescu - "CDI continues to be a failure of mankind".

Foreign Minister Octavian Ceausecsu has slammed the Central Defence Initiative for its military threats to the Tarsan Empire over Mardullah and with the CDI's obvious aims of economic domination.

The Tarsan state invaded Mardullah several weeks ago prompting a major backlash from major Pardesi powers including all members of the CDI. Yet in recent days the impact of the war has been felt in the Pardesi oil market, which saw oil prices skyrocket. The incident has had little effect on the Papal Republic who relies on Pravengia for its oil as well as modest sized oil fields in northern Rodarion. The Ministry of Economics and Development has stated that price of oil in Rodarion will rise by 2.1% due to the small export from Mardullah but has stated the results will be trivial.

Minister Ceausescu found it necessary that Pardes see the truth of the CDI' aggressive expansionism and blatant economic imperialism.

“The region must be aware of the CDI's opportunism, which aims to become the dominant economic cabal in Pardes and hold the entire region hostage with increased oil prices, which will fund its further march down the road of imperialism and exploitation”.
Several Church figures have spoken out against the CDI, bring forward its historic imperialist policies and the barbaric practices of militant Islam.

Minister Ceausescu also criticised the Central Defence Initiative for its response to the Tarsan war of liberation. “How can the CDI pride itself in calling it the force for peace and harmony within Pardes, when it continues to play hypocrite and Padesi policmen, the CDI is weak, a giant with clay feet”.

Three days after the invasion, Minister Ceausescu led calls in Rodarion for regional recognition of the Tarsan operation as a valid and humanitarian based act, however CDI members were swift to denounce the invasion, whilst the CDI itself postures itself ready to take opportunity of the situation to beat the Tarsan Empire down and sieze the oil fields of Mardullah itself. The Western Confederation has led this move towards aggression and Jihadi based imperialism towards Tarsas.

Minister Ceausescu ended his speech with a stark warning, “We let them take Mardullah, we let them gut the oil industry and rebrand it as a liberal product, they will not stop at Mardullah, they will take every oil producer until their dastardly plan for economic domination is complete, you [CDI] are a dark circle of megolomanics and madmen”.

In other economic news, the Office of Economic Data (OED) revised GDP Growth up from 8.2% to 8.6% yesterday, in a move that has welcomed a 3 year high on the RNEX, which rose by 43 points since last week. Unemployment had fallen by 100,000 since the last quarter reducing unemployment to 3.1%.

Economist Rodan Dracu gave this insight, “The rise in GDP growth is a very good sign of what is to come for Rodarion, since 2001 it has averaged at around 7 to 8% growth figures and it rising to close to 9% is very promising. Rodarion is still growing and has a lot more room left to grow into, its manufacturing base supported by raw materials has allowed Rodarion to become a major manufacturing power in Pardes, its automobile and home appliance sectors are exceptionally strong in Pardes. I would be very surprised if growth figures don’t reach 9.2% by the next quarter or third”.

The OED stated that the manufacturing sector as a whole in Rodarion had seen a modest rise of 1.4%, with construction up by 3.4% with the mass construction of homes in Hermanium, Constantine and Oradea. The services sector declined by 0.2% which was brought on but the tensions with Natalia and Premislyd, Minister for Economics and Development Ecaterina Andronescu gave a swift statement earlier in the day, “The signs of growth are good, since 1995 Rodarion has enjoyed solid GDP growth and we will work tirelessly to protect that fact and to improve upon it”. The OED has estimated that by 2018 Rodarion will be the 8th richest nation in Pardes, as of 2013 Rodarion is currently 11th.

In related news the major oil company Vega Petrotel has stated it has discovered a entirely new oil field in the Draganesti Sea, and has stated it will begin surveying the area and begin to formulate plans for expansion of the oil facilities to the area. The Draganesti Sea is the major inland sea, shared with Rodarion, Belfras, Premislyd and the Western Confederation, all four nations have conflicting claims over the sea.

Premislyd withdraws from Anti-Communism Alliance as "Otvorenost" begins

Split, Premislyd — Roughly a month ago, the Islamic Social Republic shocked the region by joining the Anti-Communism Alliance, restarting the War of Words and nearly causing a regional wide conflict with its application for the Foreign Base Initiative in the contested Outer Sovilji region.

The admittance to the Anti-Communist Alliance would have unseen consequences on internal and external peace. Just hours after being admitted, peaceful protests and rallies broke out, the largest being the Premislid Za Mir movement in Split. Likewise, foreign news papers of nations hostile to our Islamic Republic had reported the possibility of blockades and sanctions against Premislyd.

Today, the prayers of those people have finally been answered as our Leader of the Revolution, Ajatola Taras Yakiv Kozel, has announced that the Islamic Social Republic will be withdrawing from the infamous alliance, effective immediately. Ajatola Kozel had also given Anti-Communism Alliance member states 72 hours to fully withdraw any soldiers they would have in Premislyd and that naval operations will begin to combat the paramilitary fleets of the New Belhavian "Roth Industries" in a new wave of anti-piracy operations.

"The noble experiment has ended," Ajatola Kozel said in a state address this evening. "Not only is the Anti-Communism Alliance is largely flawed in its approach to combating the Red Menace, but it's fascist leadership did more harm than good. We are better off without them and our departure will only improve the view points of not only the Great Satan [Rodarion], nations against the Anti-Communism Alliance, but throughout Pardes as a whole."

News of Premislyd's departure from the Anti-Communism Alliance comes only several days after the start of the new "Otvorenost," or "openness," domestic policy. Meant to bring about increase civil liberties, including increased women's rights, the policy has been met with much applause and welcome as the populace, weary of the totalitarian rule of the current government, looks forward to getting some "breathing room."

"I think it's great," Split native, Timirsolta Vedzizhev told Premislyd Today. "The newer generations haven't grown up in the hardships of the Shahdom, the only experience they have with a stricter government being the current government. Now with this new policy, we'll be able to dress more casually, buy Emmerian products, et cetera. It is truly a blessing from God himself."

Coupled with Otvorenost is "Preustroj," or "reorganization," which will restructure the current government and create a more "democratic-friendly" voting process. Preustroj will also see that women will gain the right to vote by 2020, as well as colored peoples gaining the right to vote by 2015. The policy also calls for a more interventionist foreign policy, aimed at protecting the weaker Muslim states in the Pardesi Middle East from imperialist powers like the Tarsan Empire. The public can also be expecting to see increased talks with Rodarion and Emmeria and other Central Defense Initiative members.

Far left protesters and Police Clash in Betschstadt

Police Attempt to quell the violence in a Far left protest

This evening a far left protest was broken up by police as reports of vandalism and fist fights occuring with counter protesters from the Havenwalde Nationalist Workers Party (HNWP). Riot police soon came to the scene and were engaged in a brawl to force the protesters to desperse. 12 protesters were sent to the hospital after the brawl with minor broken ribs and bruises, protests such has these have been lately more prone to erupt in violence because of the Havenwalde Communist Party who in a debate with HNWP members on television were embarassed and humiliated by HNWP loyalists in the crowd pelting them with blunt objects along with their anger at the current leadership.

"Chancellor Freizer is a fascist. A Nazi child, his father was a nazi politican. We should not be letting these tyrants into government positions" said a HCP loyalist interveiwed in the aftermath of the protest.

Deputy Chancellor Schmidt who is the president of the HNWP released a statement on the occuring events involving the HCP which has sparked outrage with far left aligned citizens in Havenwalde.

"Its clear to me and everyone here, The Havenwalde Communist Party is a party of street thugs and iliterate fools who believe communism actually works"

The Havenwalder Communist Party is the second most popular party in the nation behind the HNWP. Behind the HCP is the Havenwalde Conservative Democrat Union Party which was the party of the now defunct leadership of the conservatives. Continued idealogical backed crime is a rising issue in the country with most of the violence occuring between the HCP and HNWP.

Roth Industries Announces Cancellation of Pyrion Security for Pardesi Commercial Assets

Warren: 5th Fleet will "dispatch elements to safeguard Belhavian shipping" from escalating Pardesi conflicts

PROVISA, New Belhavia — At a press conference Friday afternoon in front of Roth Industries' global headquarters in downtown Provisa, company C.E.O and global corporate mogul Michael Roth announced that the large transnational corporation was cancelling a private security contract with the Pyrion Group, which had been providing armed security for company mercantile vessels and commercial facilities in the southern region of Pardes.

"I have spoken to numerous high-placed representatives in various Pardesi governments," Roth said confidently, "Our company's shipping in open waters will not be targeted by any military forces in the ongoing conflicts plaguing Pardes." When asked by reporters what officials, or what governments, he had spoken to, Roth demurred and declined to say, asserting vaguely that "I cannot delve into certain information, at the various governments' own request. Suffice to say, they have all pledged that internationally-recognized open waters in Pardes will be respected, and neutral business assets will not be interfered with in any circumstance."

Bracketing Roth Industries' press conference, the Imperial War Ministry sent out a press release informing the public that the Imperial Naval Command has issued orders to Admiral Warren in Pardes, directing him to "dispatch some warships from his war game exercises to patrol open waters" to ensure pirates and wayward forces of rogue regimes do not attempt to raid international trade routes through Pardes, which contains some of the highest volumes of trade in the world. The War Ministry alleged that as the 5th Fleet has "freedom of navigation" in open waters; it expected no hostile reaction from Pardesi governments. The Provisa Stock Exchange (PSE) saw a late-afternoon rally after the War Ministry's new broke, closing a mere 12 points in the red, compared to a loss of 145 points projected midday.

Members of the press found Deputy Foreign Minister for Global Economic Affairs, Sean Zalleran, speaking with several Afalian officials in the main lobby of the Grand Imperial Hotel in downtown Provisa, and asked for comment. "Belhavian business interests run nearly a billion dollars in trade volume through Pardesi trade routes annually," Zalleran remarked offhandedly, "And so I think global markets will be reassured by the fact that the Imperial Navy, a well-known force for stability in today's world, will ensure sea lanes will stay open no matter the level warfare and armed conflict in Pardes." Frank Lamberti, an economist and Pardesi markets expert at the The Global Telegraph, argued that "the Pardesi energy crisis resulting from the [Tarsan-Mardullah] war is already causing global oil prices to soar...if a dramatic price correction doesn't come soon, there'll be an economic crisis over the whole global economy on our hands."

Professor Aidan Kelos, an adjutant professor of international relations at Callas Liberal Arts College, opined that "Various Pardesi governments [had] almost irrational fears of the Pyrion Group as [private military contractors], with some asserting ridiculously that 'profit would cause [Pyrion and other PMCs] to start raiding commerce as privateers.'" With Roth Industries' announcement, such "fallacious thoughts can be put to rest. I think governments, particularly those that are virulent ACA critics, will step back and realize that Roth Industries' fears for its assets were not so far-fetched." He added, "Regardless, the 5th Fleet is on-hand to ensure international, and Belhavian, shipping in particular is protected from unsavory elements in open waters." Professor Kelos has become the foremost expert on the A.C.A. and its "War of Words," especially as it pertains to Pardes. He wrote an article in the U.S.-based peer-reviewed academic journal Foreign Policy called "The A.C.A. in Pardes: A Case Study of Contemporary Anti-Communist Geopolitics Theory."

UNIONIST LEADER LASHES OUT AT RODARION

Theodore Lechance sums up nation in some nasty words.

We wish to inform readers that the following news story contains strong language.

Isn Deslen, Belfras. - Throughout the crisis spreading through Pardes, the government of Belfras has been rather quiet. Sure, they've condemned the Tarsan invasion of Mardullah and swore that action would be taken, but they've refused to comment on which form of action or when. Leader of the Union party, Theodore Lechance, took the chance to get one up on Ian Davies and the Conservatives.

"Weak willed, backless cowards." he labelled the Conservatives, "They're about as much good as shoes to a gimp. They said nothing when the fascist bastards [ACA] came knocking on our allies [Emmeria] door, they're saying nothing whilst the Tarsan dogs march into Mardullah and the religious freaks [Rodarion] laugh! This is exactly why people should vote for the Union party come next election. While idiots like Davies will sit on their thumbs, we'll be dispatching troops and getting tangible results. Those bastards over the border, for instance!" he waves his hand roughly south-south-east, presumably in gesture toward Rodarion. "They continually say we're barbarians? Let's build a wall along the border, keep those religious bastards out of our country. We have a Islamic community not even fifty miles from the border, why are we letting them be in danger?"

Lechance's Unionist Party has taken a dramatic swing since he took power of the minority party in 1985. Back then the radical Patrick Longate was leading the party to minute victories with their largest being winning a single seat in the Kunarii province in 1960. Since Lechance took power, his alterations have seen it recently come second in the general elections in what was denounced as a protest vote against the Conservatives, whom currently reside in Parliament for the fifth consecutive period. This had turned the Unionist party into the formal opposition. Our reporter on scene pressed Lechance on the Rodarions he has been hyper critical about, receiving a rather shocking answer.

"I don't mind religious folk. But when a priest - A Priest - stands up and starts talking shit about us? All I can say to that robed idiot is this; Sit back down and go back to your bloody sermons and let the grown-ups talk. That goddamn [Octavian] Ceausecsu bastard doesn't know his asshole from his lips and they put him in charge? One the key reasons you should never let a child-molesting preacher [Pius III] take charge of a nation! Ever since he took power, the relations between our nations has been in the shitter. Now they're calling us barbarians and what have you? I imagine the weak-willed bastard in government [Ian Davies] will bend over and kiss their asses the moment they decide to be friendly again." He apparently remembered something, and continued. "Of course, our most noblest King has the final say in all matters. But he's ill, for christ sake. Everyone and their goddamn dogs know that when a Monarch is ill, the Prime Minister takes up the reigns. C'mon, [Ian] Davies! Do your fuckin' job!" he appeared to throw some obscene gestures toward the Parliament building before storming off.

Since the original conception of this news letter, we have been prompted to inform readers that this is not the official government motive and that Mr. Lechance is the leader of one Belfras' many political parties and that while he does reside in Parliament, it is as the formal opposition. With the General Election due later this year, the election results will decide how much people listen to Lechance.

Oil War? Peaceful Resolution with Havenwalde?and Pravene action towards ACA

Saxonopl', Pravengria- After much concern regarding the recent statement released by the Tarsan government, Chief Economist Ausentro stated that the Pravene government and populace does not need to worry regarding an Oil crisis. Many claimed that the impact on the Pravene currency which is backed by Pravene Oil would cause severe but not temporary damage to the economy. Ausentro lashed out at these claims, saying that ''Our currency isn't based on TARSAN oil'' and that ''Those in Pardes affected by the crisis Tarsas will create will cause some loss in the market'' in regards to Pravene imports and exports, however that, ''It's easy to make up for the loss in looking at new buyers for the time being.''

Ausentro stated that the best plan is to take advantage of the situation, with Tarsas knocking out a key Oil supplier in the region, if Pravene Oil prices drop slightly, those who are affected will probably buy more Pravene oil which means better business. Like wise, the one who depends the most on Mardullhi oil, Tarsas, will most likely also increase in purchase of Pravene oil to make up for the loss of which they'll need to upstart the Mardullhi economy and infrastructure again after the war.

''We'll see a slight drop, but investors need not worry as they'll sky rocket for the time being as the crisis takes hold, allowing an influx of exports that'll will counter the loss by nearly 4-15%'' Skeptics are still critical of the truthfulness in this story, but it does seem to provide a unique business opportunity that works in Pravene favour.

Saxonopl', Pravengria- After diplomatic talks with the Havenwalder government and New Edom, King Dmitri who is expected to return home shortly ordered the PDF and Central 6 to ''stand-down''. Celebrations have been held in coastal towns who have grown weary of the intense military presence. As of last night, DEFSAT was taken off-line, and naval facilities and vessels switched to passive. The nation is expected to return to DEFCON 4 completely within the next few days, the PADS system will still remain online in the process, but as far as the silos in the Shield, they will be deactivated and the warheads returned to Central 6.

The Ilopl' fleet is expected to make landfall today at the Ilopl' Naval Yard, after a long journey to engage in the Ralkovian Conflict. However, this appears it will be short lived. With ACA still continuing to strengthen influence in the region, the Crown has ordered that the Ilopl' Fleet, deploy to the straights. Although the success of Premislyd withdrawing from the ACA was a good blow to the Organization labeled by many in the country as an ''Oppressive and Terroristic Organization with no value towards Human Rights'' so said by a self-proclaimed critic; It seems possible that the Pravene Navy will actually be ready to deploy a blockade in the straights, essentially closing it off to ACA merchant ships solely, while still allowing other naval traffic through.

Whether or not this is true is still unknown, but the most recent statement made by Supreme Admiral Shakarty, was that the move was a possibility in numerous options that could be used. By blockading the straits, the ACA would lose a possible major searoute into Pardes. By blocking off the straights, ACA would have no other way to get into Pardes via the East. However as stated by Shakarty, other maritime vessels would be able to pass through without harassment.

The straights, rest inside of the Pravene Maritime Borders, which allows them to both monitor and take actions as necessary to any threats or suspicious activities. All though under the Calsus Accord, the straight is open to free travel, it can at any time be blockaded to a certain group, or to all passers. Usually such moves are for security purposes, when in times of conflict or if a threat to National Security is detected. The straights are lined with many nests of artillery, SAMs, and Rocket sights, giving good coverage and effectively creating a barricade when needed.
