Struggle of the Khusevars (CLOSED 1970s-1980s tech ATTN Sab)

110 years ago, those that did not depart for Luziyca, were executed by Solestia. The 5,000 people who have migrated to Luziyca grew, forming a settlement, a de-facto autonomous region in Luziyca, called New Khusevaretia (Luziycan: Novi Khusevaria, Khusevareti: Nova Granplana). Now, at a village, at the site of Castelli, over 7,000 Khusevars, all of them living in Luziyca have migrated. The first one, was indeed the only person that was expelled from the region, born in 1868, migrating in 1976, and died in 1977.

That day, Andreu Ipriota, the de-facto mayor of "Sant Antoni," a quarter where a majority of the Khusevar immigrants moved back to was preparing for a speech. The flag of the Khusevars, Estrella de Jesús, with red meaning the blood, yellow signifying the five monarchs of Aeris, the blue representing the sky, with the white star representing Jesus Christ

Immediately, at twelve o' clock, the entire Khusevar immigrant populace, would gather at the largest square in what they considered "Sant Antoni," really surrounded by a Sabaran city, called the "Plaça dels Creuats," or "Crusaders Square," a term created in 1214 by a Seignior, the Crusader descended from "Crux."

As he stood on a soapbox, behind him were two flags, the Luziycan flag, which served as their homeland for over a century, and the Star of Jesus flag, a symbol of the Khusevars.

"Avui dia, exactament cent-fa deu anys, la gent Khusevar, descendents dels croats, al voltant de mil 200, van ser massacrats. What he said was, "Today, exactly one hundred-ten years ago; the Khusevar people, descendants of the Crusaders, around two hundred thousand, were massacred. The Solestian people sent their troops, rounded them up and killed them. Only five thousand, all of them which fled to the Christian Republic of Lusatia, would survive. Over time, we grew, to over twelve thousand people. Three years ago, we are beginning to return back to our homeland, which we have inhabited for nearly six hundred years. Today, we mourn; for thy people who were murdered by these troops. We will speak our tongue, we shall dress like our ancestors, and we will identify ourselves, not as Sabaran; but as Khusevareti. Thank you."

With that, the Khusevar people in attendance applauded, some waving the Estrella de Jesús in the air. Many then sang their traditional song, La meva Terra Bella, in Khusevareti.

The once mighty Jung Dynasty had crumbled to Count Fumafuti of Solistesia in about c. 1402. However, the Great Sabara Uprising in 1619 had ended Solistesia's iron grip on the nation, now forming the Union of Sabara. A parliament had been established by the people, and Prime Minister Laozi Caojun led the nation.

Of course, he Luziycan Crusade had not been forgotten. The Khusevars and any other Sabaran with the same ancestors were shunned- but not openly. Technically all people had the same rights, but the Khusevars were commonly segregated.

This was not without reason. The Crusade, Empress Tsinghua scandal, and artifex (Sabaran Slaves) had all been committed by Crusaders. Though the Sabarans may shun them today, the Luziycans during the Crusade treated the natives like dung, assaulting the women and killing the men.

Now, Sabarans all across the country were unaminously voting to kick the Luziycans out of Sabara: and Caojun is about to do so.

When the "Mayor" of Sant Antoni heard of the efforts to do so, he finally had enough and soon declared the intent, from the "Ajuntament," of filing a lawsuit against the Government of Sabara, for ethnic cleansing.

Finally, he found a Sabaran, who actually opposed the measure, Long San-He, who also coincidentally lived in Sant Antoni, who could be a lawyer. With that, Long San-He (Mandarin: 龍聖河, Khusevareti: Long Shan-El) filed a lawsuit, under the grounds that it broke international law, due to the definition of ethnic cleansing, and therefore; could be considered genocide.

Thus, it was known as Sant Antoni v. Sabara.

Prime Minister Laozi Caojun, his cabinet, and the represenatives of Parliament had gathered at the Justice Court in the Vale Havens. The "ethnic genocide" lawsuit by the Khusevars had sparked national outrage at the Crusaders, calling for more violent punishment. Caojun, however, did not agree with his people's idealogies, and instead demanded the Luziycan Crusaders to learn the local language, and segregate with the people.

He was not willing to bring this to court.

While by that point, many had basic knowledge of Mandarin, the children knew Khusevareti. Latin loan-words were also formed, for modern technologies. Yet, Long San-He and Andreu Ipriota had also headed to the court. Both knew Mandarin, but only Andreu knew Khusevareti. Indeed, the Luziycan Government have not apologized (in 1987, the DPR of Luziyca's leader, Haclav personally apologized on behalf of the Luziycans for their involvement in what he called a genocide, and in 2007, Petru Brouvayeshki formally apologized, laying a wreath in mourning of the dead artifex and victims of the Crusades).

Yet, many Khusevars felt they should not assimilate, but maintain their identity, citing it was very distinct, and for nearly 600 years, they lived on the land.

A ring rang out throughout the city, as a compromise had been proposed for the Khusevars by the Sabaran law-makers. The resolution said that all Khusevars, if not learning Mandarin or Cantonese, would not be allowed to enter Sabaran welfare systems, create a business in a Sabaran city, or enrolling in public schools.

Immediately, while Long San-He and Ipriot accepted the compromise, many felt that the Mayor of Sant Antoni alienated them, and immediately ousted him out of the office of "Mayor." All adults over 18 would soon form the "L'Assemblea de la Granaplana," a governing body to represent all Khusevars who lived in Sabara.

The L'Assemblea de la Granaplana immediately issued that La Meva Bella Terra would be the anthem of the entire Khusevar people, and that the song to represent the L'Assemblea de la Granaplana would be Paredes. When it was performed for the first time, many sang lyrics to it, translating from the original Polish lyrics.

He was inspired and young, they were a legion
He gave them strength with his song, singing that the dawn is near.
They'd light thousands candles for him, smoke rising over their heads,
He sang it was time for the wall to fall...
They sang together with him:
