Roleplaying Tips and Suggestions

I'd like to create an Organisation for Meritocratic Nations for governments and NGOs (and other related entities) to
- create a forum for discussion on how to tackle certain problems within a meritocracy - such as keeping the nation fair and balanced to all, how to keep corruption in check, etcetera
- create a list of (member) nations as a catalog of meritocracies on NS
- discuss other issues that arise within member nations, including news and announcements.

Would such a thread go here?

It's a social media thread. Just go by the templates and fill out the information for whichever account type you're going to use. If you're still confused, you can look around at the other posts and see how they do it, or use the quote function to look at the BB code and see how it's formatted.

Nope, else it'd be linked in the OOC part of that thread. Nobody's really applied before for it, either — everyone that I've seen starts posting with Kuronami's templates, and there's no further remark.

me and a friend are interested in using NS forum to develop an exploration roleplay.
The idea is to open partecipation only to nations that are in our two (small) regions, at least for the moment, but without excluding the idea to have more players in future, if they will met some requirements.
So my question is: can we use this part of the forum for our purposes? Also if we are going to make a "not open to anyone rp"?
If you have any suggestion, if would be really appreciated.

Hello! So, I've relatively recently founded this country with the sole objective of roleplaying as a marxist-leninist state. I know right off the bat that authoritarianism and income equality are both very important. I've accomplished both of these rankings with varying degrees of success. Can anyone suggest some ranking or small tweaks that I can work on to really create a communist country on nationstates?

If you're talking about NStats, then I suggest you choose the most communist options for issues. If you're talking about more detailed gameplay, I suggest you watch/read Red Son.
