What is the TAAN?
The Alliance of Animal Nations (or TAAN) is a RP group for all nations that have ether all animal or Human/Animal populations. We stride to help keep the peace between ether member nations or between member and non member nations via force if needed. We strive for both the rights of Humans and Animal nations as a whole. Currently this thread will be used for both IC and OOC discussion until separate threads can be constructed. So for the time being, use this thread for OOC and IC discussions.

We accept all levels of RP, weather you can manage a RP, or you are the master of it, all levels are welcome. As long as i can understand what your trying to say, you are welcome.

Does your nation have animal or Anthro population or majority?: Yes, the majority of our population belongs to one of the three pony species.
What level of RP on a scale of 1(needs improvement) to 10 (im the master of RP) would you consider yourself?: 7.5
Are you, or do you consider yourself, a furry?: Not at all.

Reason to join TAAN: We suspect there may be of some value to joining this group, regardless of what that value may be, if any.

Population: No known natives at all; Majority mainly includes humans and anthro-foxes, and even some elven races.

Furry?
Personally? I admire few works of art honestly. Mainly old, classical movies, but nowhere even close to being a member of the Furry Fandom.
Movies include: That furry Robin Hood movie, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, the Fievel movies, The Great Mouse Detective, and others. Classics.

Role Playing Skills: I really hate 1/10 scales, but I'm guessing... 2? I'm sorry, but I've only recently started trying, but I'm willing to learn!

Why do you want to join TAAN?: Because we are familiar with sentient beings other than Humans, and we wish to become friends with more of them.
Does your nation have animal or Anthro population or majority? (if so, state what animal it is): We do not have a majority population of animals, but we do have several million sentient ponies, aswell as sentient cats and sentient bears.
What level of RP on a scale of 1(needs improvement) to 10 (im the master of RP) would you consider yourself (please be honest!): 6-7 I guess. Depends what mood I'm in, though I can be higher or lower.

I cannot describe how utterly disgusted I am by the notion of this alliance. While, yes, fighting for the rights of sapient animal species is good and all, but the fact that you seem to be promoting a Mammalian-centric point of view and that you have a paw print (a symbol of Mammalians) appalls me. It's even more so when your alliance seems to be promoting Furries, of all things. We've dealt with Furries in the past and we must say, we have always disliked them. Their kind's tendency to be preachy, self-righteous, and even downright goody-goody made us vomit, not to mention their prejudice against us Reptiles.

In fact, that's my main problem with this alliance: the seeming lack of representation for Non-Furred Mammalian states. This alliance might be perfect for Ponies and Furries, but what about Non-Furred Mammals (i.e. Pachyderms and Rhinos), Ungulates (since the paw print seems to promote canines/felines/ursines), Cetaceans, Sharks, Amphibians, or, indeed, Reptilians like myself?

Thus, I and my nation utterly condemn your alliance for its apparent speciesist attitudes and promotion of a furred Mammalian-centric point of view. As a nation of Reptiles, Cetaceans, Non-Furred Mammals, Sharks, Amphibians, Ponies, Ungulates, and a few other species, we are downright offended by this alliance.
