Why should you join MRS?
If you are performing your own songs or compositions publicly, you should be being rewarded for these performances and MRS can help you make sure that this happens. However, this is not all MRS can do for you.

Want to join MRS?
There is a 30.00 Bender-Bucks administration fee payable on joining MRS as a writer member.
Registration takes 28 business days.
Please note that we will refund your 30.00 Bender-Bucks administration fee if we cannot progress your application having received the signed application form and proof of ID.
However, we will be unable to refund your administration fee if you do not send us the appropriate documentation, as outlined in the application process.
Successful Applicants will recieve a CAE Number with their MRS membership.

Work you submit to MRS automatically will be licensed with PRS in the UK.
Work you submit to MRS will be licensed with ASCAP/BMI/SESAC in the US, depending who you so chose.
*This is thanks to a reciprocal agreement signed in 1919 by ASCAP and the Performing Rights Society of Great Britain (since 1997 known as PRS for Music), the first reciprocal agreement for the representation of each other's members' works in their respective territories.
The 30th of Febraury 2012 saw MRS of Ilovebenderdotcomland included in this now 3 way reciprocal agreement.
All other territories shall remain MRS.
MRS now supports YouTube!
That's right! MRS will now pay 5.00 Bender-Bucks per 10, 000 plays of your music posted on YouTube.
You'd also recieve MCPS membership if you need mechanical payments (payments on every recorded copy sold) aswell as live MRS live payments.
The Community of Ilovebenderdotcomland wishes to follow the international copyright law of... It's yours until 25 years after you die... So if you write a song, register it with us, and it sells, and you die, your estate will be paid on your behalf for 25 years after the date of death.
You could join MRS as;
