Tips For NationStates

Postby Boston rob » Fri Feb 10, 2012 3:29 pm

I am going to start this topic off by suggesting the ability to wage war on other Nations. Lets face it rp-ing only gets us so far. As much as I encourage creativity, I would like to see how my nation could hold its own in a war against another nation. I do realize that war is complicated so that makes the ability to wage war difficult and complex because there are so many factors. I see no harm in maybe testing the idea. NS 2 did have the ability to wage war. I never had the opportunity to play or see what waging war on another nation, so I don't know how it would work. Just a suggestion though.

No.

No. Well, you can, but I'm still not going to add war. The WA is not there to request new game features. I admit this would be nice: propose a change, vote it through, and BAM! The game gets better. But then, I would have to make the BAM! part happen. It would require me to spend so much time rewriting game code that I wouldn't be able to pursue my real passion, which is earning enough money to buy food, and staying sane.

This is also discussed in probably every sticky thread in almost every form. It's not going to happen. No.

It SOUNDS like a good idea, but my experience with game-supported war ranged from so-so to teh suxor (NS2 was the later). Plus, what Fris said. Not going to happen.

War again.

War would be extremely fun. This is one of the few websites our school allows and we try to spend a lot of time on this website. However, this website becomes quite boring when we only get 2 issues a day and there isn't war or trade. Although we only have 8 nations in our region, all of us really want war and trade to be added. I know it may be hard to type the codes for but a lot more people would enjoy this game. Plus war and trade are part of what makes a nation a nation in real life, and how can it be a simulation if all of the parts in real life aren't there.

NO. It's really not that hard a concept to understand.

And if you're playing this game JUST to answer issues, you're probably wasting your time.

Here, read this. If you don't like that, learn to RP.
