Despite the fact that he probably would I agree with your wtf? statement.
Songri deserves to be taken as seriously as a heart attack suffered while piloting a zeppelin over a bacon factory. Which is the most serious of heart attacks, because if that zepplin crashes into that bacon factory, all of us will be without bacon.

And that simply will not do.

98% of all internet users would cry if facebook broke down. If you are the 2% who would sit back and laugh, copy and paste this into your sig.

Following new legislation in Songri, the nation's diplomatic missives are now delivered via sniper rifle.

Good question, I would assume so.

See, I was thinking a similar thing a while back.

If a werewolf goes and does the whole transformation thing, would they have to go and have a hair cut afterwards? Would a male one have to have a shave?

These are questions which haven't been answered.

And, admittedly, they probably don't need to be.

I think this is all starting to fall into the forbidden questions of vampires and werewolves.

Lets assume that vampires hair grows if the vampire wants it to, werewolves i'd assume they wouldn't have to have a shave or hair cut after shifting any more than normal (but you would think that their hair grows quickly due to their regeneration)

Also Heaven, where did you pull that question from? I'm curious.

"Forbidden" as in "too asinine" or "shit, we don't have any answers", or perhaps "who actually gives a damn"? :p

I was thinking about Robyn's appearance if we started another thread assuming it would take place a few years or so after this one. Her hair bing long was what I was thinking about so I decided I'd ask.

Forbidden as in how the hell does a werewolf gain body mass when it shifts, how a vamprie can didge bullets that break the sound barrier without breaking it himself and other such questions.

In short, magic.

@ Robyn: Fair enough

Never been a big fan of the whole gaining body mass thing.

Just seems a bit... stupid.

I'm aware of the potential clash of labelling a particular aspect of that whole mythology as "stupid". But then it's one that isn't particularly common, just mainly a feature of the Underworld films.

I've got to say I don't read much supernatural fiction, 'cos a lot of it, like a lot of fantasy, I just see too much as a clichéd and virtually a parody of itself.

I've never encounted a reference to a werewolf remaining the same size when they swap between human and wolf forms.

As for a lot of fantasy and supernatural fiction books being similar thats because generally every concept is expolored, and its a hell of a lot easier to just adapt an already existing world than it is to make one from scratch.

Elderscrolls III: Morrowind: Bloodmoon, mate. Not the best one, admittedly, but the werewolves in it actually look like they loose a bit in height, but it's just to do with the fact they're a lot more hunched over, somewhat quadrapedal as well as bipedal.

I believe the werewolves in the Discworld series also maintain the same body mass, but they're a bit all over the place to begin with.

I'm sure there are a couple of others, but I can't remember any at the moment.

Discworld i'll give you that one

But its not just height that can change, what about bulk? Does their facial structure change?

Yeah.

I think it's just when they gain like two foot in height and about ten kilos in weight that it seems a bit stupid.

Qstion: Do we want to do Lamil and the Count in one night, with the Raphael springing his trap on the full moon or do we want to do Lamil one night, then the Count the next night (with the full moon) with Raphael stepping forward the night after?

Or maybe even just skip a week after the Count dies with a single post as to how our chars spend that time (in general) before Raphael and the 'true' Drago-Silvana attack.

Not sure - I'd wouldn't mind taking on Lamil, then the count then Raphael on consecutive nights.
