Zirilrath, I am going to have to ask you to make a few changes to your character. I would like to ask that you change the character's race to one of four accepted races.. Human, Vampire, Werewolf, or Dhampyr. The problem is a demigod is a little overpowered for an RP of this nature and after consulting Songri on the matter.

Sure, but I'm not sure that I properly described him. He's not actually all that godly, more like a strong vampire, without the freaky hypnotism and drinking of blood and such. If you've played Resident Evil 5, Wesker would be close to what I'm envisioning. But if you want me to change it I'll change it.

The need to drink blood is part of the trade-off for being a vamp. You can make a vamp with no hypnotism if you want, but the only race that has NO downsides are humans. The vampires, werewolves and Dhampyr all have a down side. What you seem to be trying to do with the 'Demigod' is to create a new race with even stronger physical abilities then vampires, but with NONE of the downsides.

Re-do your character sheet to match the information given in this thread and we will consider allowing your char to join. Have a look at my earlier post as to what we expect you to provide and you will increase your chance of being accepted

The thing is, I want to play a Zirilrathian, and they don't like vampires, so how about this: Ever since he left the Empire his father no longer gives him divine energy, so he needs to consume human souls to retain his powers, and to do that he must perform a complicated ritual, at least once per week. If he fails to do it he's just an ordinary man in a very hostile town.

And to provide some information you asked for earlier, publicly, so everyone can vote on it.

Which chars would i get along with? Probably not become pals with any of them, at least not very soon. He'd probably respect Rhoran for his strength and experience.
Would any chars kill me on sight? He looks like a normal human, so probably none. Unless the vampires or the dhampyrs wanted to feed, that is.
Would I kill any others on sight? No.
How and who would I approach to join the main storyline? Hired by vampire low-life to watch this new boss, Joey, and make sure that nothing happens to him until the vampire has decided whether Joey benefits his plans or not. Watches from the shadows for a while, then makes presence known.

As long as he does this ritual where does he rank in physical ability? (i.e. compared to a Vamp/Wolf/Dhampyr)

At the moment i think the Vampires are trying to kill Joey (well the most powerful clan is and if a vamp clan had to choose between currying favor with the most powerful vampire in the city or siding with some low-life street kid i find it hard to believe they would go against the vampire)

I still think your best bet would be to not try and make a new race but work within the constraints already set out.

Roughly as strong as a wolf, and about as fast as a vampire.

I was thinking that an exiled vampire involved in human trafficking would want to see if he may earn even more money by selling people to Joey's gang, for naughty purposes, and not just to the vampires, for eating. He would of course not think that Joey could under any circumstances pose a threat to his normal customers, so he might as well investigate to see if he could expand his little business.

OK i just noticed a big problem.

If your race is as strong as a wolf and as fast as a vamp that makes it the most powerful race.

Since a wolf or vamp is really hard to kill without using silver/UV rounds and your race has no weaknesses that seems very overpowered.

Actually, he is vulnerable to regular things, so no special measures are needed to harm him. IE, no special ammunition or silver knives, good old fashioned steel works just as well.

And in order to heal wounds faster than what a normal man can do, he has to perform the ritual.

well since vampires can dodge bullets the number of weapons that can hurt him drops sharply. And even without their regeneration wolves are still bastards to kill.

You can ask Ras if you want and try and convince him but i will not support you being a demigod character as I feel it has no real weakness yet is equivilent to vampires and wolves in ability.

Recently that very same Rhoran, and his friends, have apparently become the targets of his master's ire, and he has been sent to track them down, though he hasn't been ordered to kill them yet, which he himself find curious. Though he has learned that his master always has a plan behind his decisions, however strange they may seem to him.

Would I kill any others on sight? Perhaps Heathstepper, if he is in wolf form.
How and who would I approach to join the main storyline? Stalk the group, stay hidden, and report their actions to his master. Interfere in their operations if he is ordered to.

Zirilrath i will give my support to your char. Of course Ras would have to confirm it. Also, do you intend to be working with the group or against it? As in remain loyal to your current master or decide bugger it (like Rhoran did) and choose to oppose him. If Ras confirms the char TG me as it would prob be best if you got introduced through Rhoran & Robyn then any of the others.

@Songri, keep in mind that Robyn will become rather belligerent toward Rhoran in some instances, especially when he's trying to teach. She may also stop talking to him for a period of time because of her anger.
