So, being one of the few nations on NS where Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, and such are actually not evil, I get asked a lot how this is possible. Here is somewhere where you can ask me and I will answer you to the best of my ability.

The format is thus: There is an internet chat room, http://www.yesopalithachat.gov, that is only for government officials. In order to log in, you have to state your real name, your position, your country, and a verification code from your leader. Afterwards, you are known as this: Firstname(number)

For example, the one monitoring this chat room, answering questions, will be Denasil. His username for this will be Denasil07. Please stay in this format.

If you are going to use OOC, please put it like I have, in a spoiler. To create a spoiler you go {spoiler=OOC}Message{/spoiler} except using [] instead of {}. (I had to do that so I don't create another spoiler).

I hope this can be used to answer any and all questions there are about Yesopalitha and the concept of good Unbidden.

Denasil, the Diplomat of the Chosen, sat down on his desk, and booted up his CPU. He had been given the task of answering questions concerning the Unbidden, and he was nervous.

He logged on into http://www.yesopalithachat.gov. He logged in as Denasil07, and decided to wait for a question. He did write this introductory statement:

Denasil07: Welcome all delegates and representatives from other nations! This is a place where you can ask any questions about the Unbidden of Yesopalitha. I shall reply in as honest of a manner as I can, within the realms of the knowledge that I know! So, please, ask away!

TZH: Vampires feed on blood, right? I would imagine that sucking the blood of humanoids would be quickly noticed; do they ever feed on animals?

[Yesopalitha]

Denasil sighed. Of course, they'd go for that first.
He replied:

Denasil07: TZH, I do not know where you're from... But yes, Vampires do feed on blood. Our butchers have succeeded in developing a technique in which after we slaughter and quarter animals for their meet, we collect all the blood. The Vampires say it's not as... fresh as pumping human blood, but it does suffice. Also, there are those of us who volunteer to have their blood drained upon their death.

He knew that the questions would only get harder.

TZH: What if they drink only some the blood of a humanoid? Does the process kill them? Are there any side effects for the victim?

[Yesopalitha]

Denasil was a bit surprised at this question.

Denasil07: Only a few Vampires possess the power and strength to stop in the middle of feeding; most of them would drain the human. Also, a human that has only been partially drained can begin to possess
Vampiric qualities, and this is not considered safe; therefore, Vampires of Yesopalitha only drink animal blood, donated blood (only when pure human blood is required for medical purposes), or the blood of dead people.

FantasyFreak: I always thought that the various Unbidden were at odds. Is this true? Do Vampires hate Lycans? What about Wraiths?

Denasil was getting a bit annoyed by the people not following the format.

Denasil07: Marcus666, Vampires, Werewolves, and the like in Yesopalitha used to be unholy beasts of the devil. The corruption was removed from us by our Lord Zaiden, who freed us from the chains of corruption and showed us freedom, justice, and love.

Denasil07:President Dash, Unbidden are created in a variety of ways. Nowadays, we only "create" Unbidden if the receiver wanted it. For example, if a terminally ill patient wants to live, they can be asked to be turned into a Vampire. The only other way we increase the number of Unbidden is if a criminal commits such a crime that eternal punishment of labor is the only justifiable punishment for it. Then, the criminal is turned into a Vampire and forced into communal service for eternity. We do know that since most of the Unbidden can be killed only from outside sources (disease and warfare), eventually, one day, Yesopalitha will be a country of humans, elves, and dwarfs that can reproduce without having to turn another creature. This is why if an Unbidden is killed, one is lost, forever... And why we resist warfare.

Denasil07: We chose to abandon human blood a while back when we realized that we cannot coexist with humans in this manner. It is a double edged sword. Besides, after we gained our minds back from being corrupt, we realized that every human life we take is a loved one by so many others. And now that we understand the concept of family, we don't want to destroy any more...

Denasil: There is. We are a member of the Union of Equality and Freedom. There is also a code that every Yesopalithan lives by. We believe in respecting others and earning their respect.

What religion if any do most of your populace follow?

Denasil07: We believe in Zaiden, the Lord of Illusion, who created the island of Yesopalitha for us to live on. Others of us follow the other members of the Mystrian Pantheon, which include Serion, Fornt, Lyra, Nena, and a few others. A few of our populace are atheist, agnostic, or believe in other foreign religions.

Bruce333: How do vampires reproduce with humans? And does the human mother die while giving birth?

Denasil shook his head. Then, he reminded himself that others just didn't know, and that was why he was here, answering questions. He answered the question.

Denasil007: Yesopalithan Vampires cannot reproduce sexually. They can only reproduce by drinking the blood of a human and having them drink the blood of theirs. The only humans that are turned into Vampires are those that wish to live on after they're supposed to die, as in by disease, age, war, etc. If one chooses immortal life, and one's family doesn't have an objection, then they are turned into a Vampire, and only then. It is because of this that one day, there might be Yesopalitha without any Vampires in it. Unlike Orcs, Goblins, and Werewolves, who can mate with another of their species, the only way a Vampire can be formed is by converting another being into it.

My current question is that how do you deal with Vampires and there need for blood? Do have like cafes for vampires that sell blood obtained via animals or human donations?
