The United World Order hereby creates State Order #8139 which will be put into affect if the UWO's National Security or Riech is in danger. This is what terms are involved in State Order #8139.

In response to your decree of December 3rd, of the year 2011, the Second Holy Empire of Anemos Major invokes its right to existence within the international community free of unreasonable threats and infringements upon the basic rights of its citizens and cites State Order #8139 as a clear and undoubted example of the levelling of threats towards the Second Empire. Articles X, XI and XII, citing the right of the United World Order to detain ship crews without question based upon independently determined territorial boundaries, the destruction of foreign aircraft without question upon entering UWO airspace, and the detention of foreign nationals without the provision of the opportunity to return to their respective nations unhindered, are clear violations of the basic tenets of international co-existence; though your continued internal suppression and oppression are a cause for concern, this further, outrageous step directly threatens the safety of our Empire's citizens and, accordingly, we intend to move to take action against it with full force.

As of the 3rd of January, at the time of this statement, the Second Empire has mobilised forces to perform an armed intervention into the sovereign territory of the United World Order in response to its overt announcement of a policy that endorses direct attacks and restrictions upon foreign nationals that goes beyond all reasonable bounds and limits. It is our intent to neutralise both the ability and intent of the United World Order to pursue that policy, and this intent will be realised as far as necessary to fully enforce the right of our citizens to exist without fear of oppression by third party entities who wield little to no jurisdiction over them. The first forces to be mobilised were those of the 3rd Division of the 1st Flag Army. A multipurpose rapid deployment division fresh from deployment near Luziyca, the division was one well suited, both in structure and mentality, to invasion - the Flag Armies, after the military re-organisation of 1994, had adopted a fresh new role as the armoured fist of the Crown Army, centred around armoured and mechanised forces, from the formidable tanks of the Armoured to the self-propelled howitzers of the Crown Artillery. They relished it; nothing quite compared to crushing enemies with the weight of the Crown's armour, and they had become very good at it indeed over the near-twenty years they had spent in this role. These forces were already embarked; together with a single Marine MER out of Karonin, they were quickly dispatched with a sizeable naval taskforce to the seas of the United World Order, an open affront to the travesty of a law they had so brashly and publicly passed a mere month ago. Threatening civilians was easy enough, but the taskforce, centred around four fleet carriers and their full battlegroups, was a different story; whether the United World Order's forces would be as enthusiastic to open fire on a force bristling with retaliatory measures would be interesting to see indeed.

Some might argue that the Anemonians were being brash, opportunistic, arrogant, deploying their military forces so openly in the face of such simple provocation. And the political forces behind them were content to let those arguments stand unchallenged - after all, who could possibly guess that the boy-kind of the Second Empire possessed so ruthless a streak?

The expectation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is that the United World Order will, within the following days, announce their intent to resist the ultimatum posed late yesterday by the Crown and Ministries of the Second Empire. In preparation for this announcement and subsequent flashpoint, formation commanders are reminded to raise their respective alert statuses accordingly. Individual unit orders will be relayed via central command within the next few minutes, as per the orders of the Armed Forces Staff; further deployment notices will be provided to those units involved as necessary by mid-day, today.

With the Crown's direct involvement in the decision of our Second Empire to involve themselves in this regional conflict, every man and woman in the Imperial Armed Forces should doubtlessly understand that the onus is upon us, as sworn and bred members of the uniformed services, to perform to our individual limits in the service of the State.

CE 104 - Savronin AFB, Savronin Citadel Isle, North Anemonian Sea - 0500h 04/01/12 (Wed)

Under the light of dawn, the wyvern spreads its wings. Slow at first, it skims across the ocean's surface, picking up speed, the wind tearing past it until, in an explosion of sea spray and a mighty, sky-shaking roar, it rises.

Boots clattered across the asphalt as last preparations were hurriedly made. Ground crew sporting high visibility vests, shaking off the wind and tightening the straps on their helmets, dragged over carts of 27mm ammunition to the fighters waiting inside the elevator area of the underground hangar. Upon being loaded, refuelled and crewed, they would be taken up to ground level, from where they would enter their take-off cycle; Savronin was no simple base, it was a fortress.

As hatches were tightly sealed, with the ground crew checking fuel levels one last time before disconnecting the lines, a few shouts from the corner of the room announced the arrival of the pilots. Words weren't exchanged; with a handful of nods here and there, the pilots rushed to their aircraft, climbing into the heavy two seater fighters and pulling themselves into the cockpits. Screens flashed and flickered as the fighters were slowly brought to life; like with any great beast, pilots treated the Rementyr with care and respect, and pre-flight checks were slowly, exhaustively completed until the fighters stood ready to fly.

The warning lights around the elevator lit up as the crew vacated the area until all that was left was the group of fighters. With a jolt, the elevator began to rise through the concrete complex, towards the hangar exit; tinted canopies closed and the pilots pulled on their helmets, the green outlines of their helmet displays flickering to life in the darkness of the elevator shafts, the lights above them buzzing to life soon after. Dust fluttered from the metal railings as the elevator stopped, and the hangar doors opened, the gleam of the orange hues of the winter dawn peering in from in between. The hum of the fighters' Aspirant engines drowned out the howling of the wind as they taxied to their positions along the side of the runway; from the control tower, the sight was as formidable as ever, and junior officers crowded by the windows to watch the fighters roll into position. The Rementyr was a beautiful machine; its slender lines masked a lethality unmatched by any in the air which it had been built to dominate.

"CE 104, 320-1 through 5, entering take-off circuit." The tower quickly sent back a reply as the 320th Air Superiority Squadron rolled onto the runway; following a well-worn route, they took up positions along the wide runway and idled for a moment as they finalised their flight plan. The squadron leader eventually relayed a green light to the tower; Air Force security personnel, toting rifles along the airfield's perimeter, watched for irregularities as the first, splitting roar of engines cut through the air. The first fighter leapt forward, followed by the rest; the roars soon subsided into the distance as the squadron took to the air, into the darkness of a dawning sky.

The 320th AS was only one of many formations flying to join Anemonian forces en-route to the UWO, escorting formations of strategic bombers loaded up with cruise missiles for stand-off engagements with targets of note. With the hour of the expected response nearing, the Imperial Armed Forces had stepped up their activity; by the time the UWO produced a response, the forces arrayed against them in the event that it wasn't the right one would be fully prepared and equipped for the intervention the Crown had threatened.

UWO-Strategic Aerial Intellegence Command
January 4th, 2012

Inside the Strategic Aerial Intellegence Command of the UWO the reports of Anemonian aircraft formations heading towards the UWO had taken the entire command by storm. The Aerial Intellegence officers were sending out orders to every military airfield currently in the current estimated target areas the Anemonian formations would strike which one of them was the capital city Berlina. The Strategic Airfield in Berlina was gearing up for it's defense and the engagement agaisnt the Anemonian aircraft formations. Hundreds of fighter jets mostly being F-22s and F-15s and a handfull of F-2s were getting prepped for flight. The airfields runway was several miles long to allow swarms of aircraft to take off at once which allowed a slight advantage at quickness of deploying a nice chunk of defensive forces at once.

There were also several Aerial Outposts around Berlina which were camoflauged fields which layed dozens of Patriot missle launchers which were going to be operational very quickly. Other anti aircraft assests were being activiated which included SAM missle launchers and vehicle launched Anti-Aircraft launchers which all those were spread out throughout the countryside as a need for defense agaisnt any invader approaching from the air. From the sea the Defense Armadas currently in the Unitedian waters near Berlina had Carrier groups within them which were also going to contribute to defending the air agaisnt the Anemonians.

Aboard the UWON Aircraft Carrier Hercules which was sailing with the 2nd Defense Armada dispatched in the waters near Berlina. Dozens of F-22s and F-15s were being elevated from the elevators below deck to the carrier's deck to be armed with there missles and to check before flying out. The boots of pilots going up the stairs of the Aircraft Carrier and onto the deck rushed to there respective aircraft as they got strapped in and the top came down and the several checks of weapons and the like were done the aircraft powered on and began to one by one take off from the several carriers of the 2nd Defense Armada. Before this had happened AWACs had taken off and were currently thousands of feet above the water doing scans to check for Anemonian aircraft approaching. Sattalites were the UWO's early warning intellegence equipment which had first spotted the Anemonian Naval assests and formations of aircraft comming towards them.

With the announcement that the Second Empire of Anemos Major had moved against the United World Order over the activation of State Order 8139, the High Administrator re-evaluated the situation. He had never taken a direct look at the State Order but was assured that it did not effect the country. Looking at the Order now, he become very displeased. Although Clamparapa had no assets in the UWO and it was on a travel advisory list, he couldn't help but grimace at the sheer evil of the bill. Not only did it not allow for a fair trial for prisoners, but it also had tourists being arrested in a vain attempt to quell rebellion. Reaching for his phone, he called for his aide. He needed to draft up a letter to the UWO...

It has come to our attention that you have seen fit to imprison anybody of a foreign nature visiting your country in your penitentiaries for no crime whatsoever. This is a most heinous act that will undoubtedly cause other nations to attack you in response, causing war on multiple fronts and a massive casualty list on all sides. This is why we have seen fit to follow the actions of the Second Empire of Anemos Major and commence landing and blockade procedures until your nation has official renounced and repealed this disgraceful Order.

With this message, elements of the 4th, 6th, 10th, and 23rd fleets began mobilization efforts before heading out. Men were called to duty, ships were loaded with ammunition, and food was placed onboard the aux-ships. Tasked with defending the Anemonian landing fleet and engaging naval and naval-based air elements of the UWO military, they were being prepped as such. Specially designed sonobuoys were loaded onto the P-8 Poseidons, newly acquired from Printa-Gold Airlines. Replacing the ageing P-2s, these planes were extremely efficient at what they did: electronic intelligence and ASW. These were given a special mission and ordered to go radio-silent.

Along with the P-8s, other aircraft, such as the F-15N and F-22N variants, were being loaded onto the carriers. Torpedoes were being loaded onto their respective submarines, and missiles adorned the loading area, ready to be loaded onto the nearest destroyer. With all this happening, Command Admiral Alexsandr Viotin surveyed and inspected his combined fleet. A daunting task to inspect the crews of each ship and their equipment, but it was not at all a tedious task. It was made enjoyable by the fact that he could interact and personally speak to each individual crew member. Finally after hours of inspections and meetings, he began is much awaited speech to the sailors.

"Ladies and gentlemen of our great navy, we are about embark on a new voyage. This voyage will involve escorting the much esteemed Anemonian Navy and landing forces into the maw of the UWO war machine. We will be running anti-ship/air screens, along with shore bombardments to make way for their landing forces. The UWO navy is now designated 'enemy' and as such, we will be following standard operating procedure for enemies. Ladies and Gentlemen, let me remind you why you are here. The UWO has seen fit to institute a law which will almost certainly cause war with a number of nations. We are here to make sure that this bill is repealed and prevent any future war from coming to fruition, taking the lives of many innocents. You are here to safeguard the lives of countless innocent human beings. May God be with all of us in this battle and may no one die in vain. You may all go home to say good-bye to your loved ones before the journey. Be back here at 0800 sharp. We sail at 1200." Viotin had seen fit to give the sailors 24 hours of rest and relaxation before their journey to war...
