Xanthael smiled and turned back to the two towering Kaz'varden behind him, signaling for them to stay put. They didn't say a word, didn't move a muscle, and their faces were completely concealed behind their visors. Yet despite all this, Xanthael could still tell they were uneasy with the thought of letting him go into a room chock full of powerful beings alone. But none the less, he was their Emperor, and they had sworn to obey him no matter what. And so they remained motionless at the door while Xanthael continued onward into the committee chamber.

Tottles nodded at Maven. "Thank you for your comments, Mr Auryn. Merely doing my job. If needs be, the Foreign Office has expressed willingness to send government chartered planes to Mackonia, although we do need to ask if ponies need, um, seats . We've done the best we could with the knowledge we have and the Pony Dept. of MINAHIK, but unfortunately, our understanding of this species if somewhat limited."
"Got a problem here. Before everyone starts taking up arms, though, note: the nation is divided over this. It would appear that there is some internal conflict in this nation, and so we would advise caution before taking action. We'll be watching."
"Regarding the slave traders, we presume that after they refuse our demands, the more lenient demands come into effect automatically and that further action, such as militarily, would need approval of the council. We'll get back to you if the situation persists."

Xanthael reviewed the transcripts carefully. The absurdity almost made him chuckle. " It appears to be another authoritarian theocracy pretending to be much bigger than it really is." Xanthael gave the transcript one last momentary glance before turning his attention to the rest of the committee. " It seems that like many totalitarian theocracies, Sotoaiz is both motivated and blinded by their own fanaticism. They're apparently trying to be begin their own holy war against all the 'filthy, democratic infidels'. "

The Aravean Delegate shook his head in disbelief after reading the transcripts from the Sotoaizan Foreign minister's broadcast. He thought of how something similar to this had nearly lead to a crisis between Aravea and Verusea. He then decided speak "Stiil, we cannot allow these madmen to run rampant."

The new delegate from Eurarcta arrives. With Eurarctans convinced that Maven was secretly racist, and in need of learning cultural tolerance, the Archyeller of National Association for the Advancement of Walrus People decided to send one of the most 'cultural' Yellers as this rotation's representative.

The Walrusman in question was Olag Sygrystead, a burly Walrusman who wore traditional face paint, steel armor, a traditional moosehead hat, and carried two sledgehammers, a machete, and a shotgun strapped to various parts of his ensemble. Speaking only the traditional Eurarctan tongue, Sygrystead was accompanied by a N.A.A.W.P. translator of Orkish race.

"Xom huit, talamhter," he gruffly greeted.

"Hello fellow delegates," translated the Ork.

They're wonderful with tea and also sweet cakes. Beyond the foods however, it's my belief that we should perhaps discuss something important. The communique by Altea perhaps? The Archon wishes to discuss with us. He's the very same Archon of Altea that is in the Anti-Pony Alliance, and he has openly stated he was part of the alliance. He has desired to discuss with us and address "misconceptions" as to their alliance's purpose. Derik raised his head from its resting position on the desk in front of him and popped his neck. He had fallen asleep during the latest part of the discussions, and no one had bothered to wake him up. He was grateful. He hadn't gotten much sleep recently. He rubbed his eyes and looked around, taking assessment of what was going on. He scowled when Maven mentioned the Archon wishing to address them.

"I believe the APA is not our problem, at least not for the time being. They haven't made any moves yet. We would have known. The De Lunas would have informed me about them had they been a serious threat. They aren't. As far as I see, they don't seek to solve their ponyism 'problem', so-called, with violence. If they wish to do this like civil people, let them do it. Now, should they begin waving their guns around, I say we step in. As for the Archon..." he paused, "I will have nothing to do with him. My people left Altea, forcefully, to make our Serene Republic and I shall not have it endangered once again by their ignorance!"

"I must take some offence from what you say because I consider religion and my Christian faith to be a positive good, not a tyranny," said the President.

"Quite frankly I see no sign of them relenting unless further measures are taken. Even if there is no violence, we are after all dedicated to defending freedom and not just keeping the peace. We should draw up some plans for humanitarian intervention, so we can be prepared if we need to."

OOC: Oh dear. I had hoped to use the translator to... well... censor out some blatant ethnocentrism. If your Delta somehow knows the ancient tongue of Eurarcta (a bit strange how an robot from a dimension that never had that language somehow knows it, but I suppose crazy Future Tech is involved somehow), well, blatant ethnocentrism will be much more pronounced. Delta would have probably heard "Xom's Blessings, Warmlanders" "Xom's Blessings" being the term for 'hello', and hearing 'warmlanders' where the Ork had tactfully placed 'fellow delegates'

OOC: I rp my race as being so old and powerful they can pick things up easily so understanding your ancient tongue would come naturally to him. Depending on how old your race is though you might of heard of the Ancients or may actually know the real name for their race. Maybe even understand the ancient tongue he speaks though you would have to be pretty dam old for that. But ya, he can speak any language , but he has an accent usually best defined as a echo drone that sounds like he's speaking another language underneath the one he is speaking.

The One then took out a small orb that was black with engraved grooves glowing purple. OOC: Smart A.I (which Delta became thanks to a few updates, not a true one but the closest he can become.) are able to translated words with meanings pretty quickly, it is a hand wave so I can talk to quicker, usually it would take longer but it is also possible that the UNSC could have done operations of decoding and sent them.

Then, replying through translator(the translator, for his part, seems to be ignoring the fact that others can understand the Eurarctan, mainly out of job-security concerns) to Jason, "I demand(translated: request) that you respect the time-honored traditions and cultures of others. And besides. Some here have magical powers and are much more dangerous than myself even fully armed. Would you demand that they cut out their brains to soothe your worries? I will not deny my rich heritage for the mere comfort of another."

"If there is a cultural or religious sanction to carry a weapon then I see no harm to allowing the Eurartcan delegate carry his weapon on the bearing that he does not try to slay anyone with them here. That would be tragic, and a bad precedent for those who wish to bear arms on a religious belief. I understand such sanctions for example with out friends the Kossith that believe that their weapons are the vessels of their soul. If one takes their weapon it's the equivalent of removing their soul, and so I refuse to disarm a Kossith and know that their Qunari honor will overrule. Such it is with the Eurartcan delegate given of course that he don't harm others with it." Maven said with a hand wave.
