He kept his clear teal eyes upon her which seemed to be like they where laughing as he spoke with his warm and soothing voice which would evoke feeling of a proud paternal figure despite the fact that his face seemed young and gentle. His white hair was strewn about underneath a blue beret, the color of freshly fallen snow as his face had a proud and calm expression. He crossed his hand over his chest and closed it into a fist over his heart and bowed politely.

Ahriman nodded "They should logically though considering they value freedom so much. Yet they would probably be killed and called communists despite their government being more like the Communists that past mortals have claimed to be." Ahriman snickered "So ironic that to protect freedom you mortals take it away. Conine sat with his sniper rifle looking out the window.

He looked through the ACOG of his rifle aiming for Maven's head his finger on the trigger when suddenly to armed men knocked through the door of his apartment, Conine startled, lost his aim and shot him in the chest instead.

No! shouted Conine in despair as the two armed strangers arrested him and said

They disarmed him and started taking him to the meeting hall

Maven reached over to pick a lemon drop and heard a loud crash as the ballistic glass on the High Council window was hit by an attacker from outside. A sniper was trying to fire into the Union of Freedom and Equality and aimed at him from the distance, someone who was trying to fire at him, and someone who was trying to kill him. He looked up for a moment instinctively snapping his fingers together and breaking his skin and using a small coating of blood and touched his chest activating the aegis as the bullet hit the ballistics glass and he kept a stoic expression as it sailed directly at him and his his aegis shielding as the impact sent him flying backwards against the wall. He got up after he looked up at the window and saw the security guard take the shooter away as he looked at the faces of the shocked delegates with his look that was stoic and then changed to anger.

"Why have I been shot at this time?" Maven said with an irritated expression. "Who's trying to kill me now?"
