Ulrik had just gotten back to relaxingly observe how events were playing out in the coalition chambers, nobody were busy stabbing someone, there were no screaming, nobody was drunk enough to have a hard time telling the difference between up and blue and no unusual problem faced the coalition so he could sit back and relax for a moment, even retire early for once and demand that the pony next to him should take care of whatever business that might arise.

His moment of peace and quiet did however not last for long before he was dragged out of his thoughts about that nice book that stood beside his bed and the bottle of brandy that had just arrived from fäderneslandet as a fairy that worked in the federal embassy and often served as the official runner came flying with a note.

FOR ONCE, LANOS AGREES WITH IMERATIA. THAT'S SAYING A LOT SINCE WE HATE THE PRACTICE TO DEATH BUT THE VICTIMS SHOULD NOT HAVE DIED. Your ambassador to Lanos will meet with the Secretary of State in about an hour and expect him to be persona non grata. We may tolerate slave revolts and welcome fugitive slaves here to freedom but this is mass murder upbecoming and equivalent to other horrible crimes our nation has seen before.

Certainly, we do not agree with slavery, but we also do not agree with outright killing those who practice it. It is, in the words of the Commander-in-Chief, 'fucked up', pardon my language. They simply should have just freed the slaves and nothing more, not outright slaughtering millions for it. That is simply just terrible."

He then sighed and shook his head as he looked down at his lap in shame, wondering what had gone through Red Baron's head to commit such a heinous act.

"well they either were Not convicted, tried and not convicted but Red killed them anyway, or they were just killed."

"Slavery was BANNED in the nation in question, which means that the slavers were conducting mass slavery after the ban was in place. The fact that it continued in such a large scale means that the government was not taking the proper action to ensure the crime was punished and the priority of stamping out slavers was not given. This pushed patriots like the Red Baron to take action of his own accord. The fact that it had to be an extrajudicial execution merely means that the law wasn't doing enough to prevent slavery allowing the people to suffer, not so when the Vanguards of Justice step in and then the fury of heaven's justice fell upon their heads staining it with blood and flame! Truly glorious." Maven said as he looked at the other delegates who were clearly confused by his happiness at such a situation. They clearly had never had their populace enslaved, and for this they were completely unaware of the horrors of slaver practices and the trafficking of sapient beings.
