The Boeing airplanes have entered Fantoa's airspace as Maven Auryn waits impatiently for any news from the pilots. He sits at his desk awaiting for the call of confirmation that they had reached their destination but Maven was skeptical, as Fantoa had previously shown disregard for life, it is clear that they would have no problem using dirty tactics such as attacking the oncoming Boeing aircraft as it entered or exited Fantoan airspace. Maven wasn't unprepared for this as Krichen Nylion, his Minister for National Defense had warned of the possibility.

As of now we have only to hope that it goes smoothly. he thought as he sat on his desk. He looked at his secretary Yalij Dontoth who seemed equally on edge.

He liked to imagine he had a harder time then the committee for internal affairs or the Department of Security who's primary task was espionage, subterfuge and spying, both technically relied on the Foreign office to know who to spy on, who to support and who to cripple but inside and outside the Empire. And certainly all this Pro-Pony and Anti-Pony nonsense was wearing thin with him personally. There have already been one major multi-national war over the treatment of Ponies and God only knows how many racially or ideologically motivated insurrections. He had previously dismissed the Fontoan situation out of hand altogether, but now it seriously looked like several nations were prepared to go to war to prevent another Pony related ethnic cleansing.

If not handled properly this saber rattling could evolve into a larger scale war and God knows where the end of it all will be.

It is in the Holy Empire's interests to add pressure upon Fontoa to allow safe extradition of Ponies within its borders to those nations that would grant them shelter and refuge. The Holy Empire is willing to lend its ships to aide in ferrying the ponies to friendlier nations, and will grant temporary refugee status to ponies escaping Fontoan persecution until such a time as they can be shipped to Ponyist nations.

If Fontoa continues with its disgusting racial cleansing the Holy Empire will lend its own military might to those nations already threatening war with Fontoa. It is well within the rights of nations as recognised by the Empire to choose who is to be admitted and who is to be excluded from their nation's borders, but to slaughter sapient beings based on racial profile is a national crime that is an affront to God, and the Holy Empire will not suffer such a course of action.
