Correction, I lost against a coalition of Spanish, French, and German forces helping the colonists. You guys barely did anything other than get your asses handed to you until they arrived.

While I admit that we would have lost otherwise, we were actually winning via guerrilla warfare tactics back on the homefront. In a frontal assault, we weren't doing very well, but in the trees, our troops hid and picked off your troops one by one, taking out the commanding officer first.

I'll also have you know we beat every single one of those guys later

And don't go saying 799,999,999....Assign your population in relation to your size. As an example, I'm using a population of 470 million for the RP(This is, of course, because I want to RP as an aggressor that is quickly running out of resources.).

Considering the northern areas of the Soviet Union are inhospitable, I think bumping up the RL population of the country at the time would work.
